I agree, if you don't want your sister to find out, don't do it just yet. If you're not worried about anything else please, DO IT! It's your life and fuck the haters, they don't have to have a voice on youtube or in your life unless you let them, you can disable the comments or you can make sure that they are approved by you first. Haters are always going to hate but it's up to you to not let it affect you. I'd adopt a IDGAF attitude and live your life. We are more than cammodels/adult industry workers and if we want to run a YT channel we should. I'd hate for you to regret the things you didn't do when you're older.

My parents know about my escorting, I'm not sure if my sister knows because she hasn't brought it up and I'm not going to! lol.
If she found out it wouldn't be the end of the world. If it happens it happens and I will deal with it.
I also change my entire look for cam, use a different background, etc. so it's no super likely but still possible the two could be linked.
After reading this thread though I decided that I don't give a FUCK and I'm doing it anyway because I love it!
I love sex work, but I have other interests too.
I am not going to let sex work stop me from doing something I love out of FEAR.
I decided I will not let fear control my life, that is a terrible way to live.
Wish me luck girls :)

Good luck BB! This may sound silly but I was told by a psychic that I would live to be very old. I of course knew this because the elders in my family tend to live well into their 90s. Anyway, I was watching that Meet the Fokkens, the twin documentary that you linked, and my eyes were really opened when one of the twins stated that, at her old age she wished she wouldn't have made a fuss about harshly judging herself in her adult work. (holy run on sentence!) She went on to say that it really didn't matter now that she was older and it's true. I guarantee that when we get to that point we're going to look back and kick ourselves for not taking the opportunities that we truly wanted when we were young. I know that I want to look back and smile. That is, if I can remember anyway. Two of my grandparents are suffering from dementia so even if I do feel bad, which I doubt I will, I won't remember anyway haha. That sounds fucked up but hey, what can I say? Always do you bb!

I've been doing youtube lately www.youtube.com/Samantha38GG
It is a fun to be dressed & do these for me. A bit different from porn & camming but rewarding emotionally. Plus who reads these days. LOL besides the girls here. Doing these instead of writing blogs on my pay site.
Smooches,
Sam

I've been thinking about posting videos lately in lieu of my blog, I've got some great ideas for them but am a little freaked out at the extra exposure. We'll see what happens :)

*BUMP*
I just wanted to see where all the ladies are at now with their vanilla youtube accounts. I decided to take the youtube on as a career move as well as having a blog and putting more time and effort into it. meanwhile i cringe each time i log on to MFC to start my show (i have even been doubting on making more movies because im worry that would put out more exposure) with that being said, i love camming..well i love the camming money and i hate to give it up especially when its supporting this haul habit of mine

It is such a foreign concept to me that middle aged women would sit around critiquing and tearing down other women
It just seems super pathetic to spend your time talking shit like that.
I AGREE WITH THIS SO MUCH!!! Why would you sit around talking shit about someone who had done nothing to you? Instead of just focusing on your own life. Why would you continue to surround yourself with negativity AND engage in it? It does not benefit you at all.
...Hypothetically speaking :banghead:

Yea I have a fitness channel also?? and It is raided by cam customers every now and then asking me how it feels to shove dildos in my vagina on the same bed as I do my fitness videos etc etc.. yea fun fun.. yea I have a cam girl YT and a normal one.. so there goes your question.. I think honestly, you should be prepared and not worried about being outted by anyone. It's gonna happen the longer you and the further you put yourself out there with your adult stuff. I am to the point to where I am just F**CK it .. I do what I want!...LOL.. what reputation?? I do not even have one anymore in anything.. I am just me.. another person on this planet with problems like everyone else has.
well i was going to start a fitness channel since I just got certified in personal training and I am a camgirl aalso so we'll see how that goes lol

You are absolutely Correct.. I also wanted to point out that this job is temporary no matter how long that lasts .. I Have been several people already in this lifetime and this adult thing is lasting a lil longer than I wanted it to but I can feel I am almost out the door and on to bigger and better things. Just remember that, Everything in life is TEMPORARY nothing lasts forever. REPEAT AFTER ME! lol

Whether you're already on the internet with a vanilla job, or camming,
there is always a chance that somebody will recognize you.
Even by blocking states and countries, you never know who is where at any given time.
Just keep a smile on your face. Always. Do what makes YOU happy. Continue your hobby, and make that cash.
I mean, not for anything,
but I don't think people that say,
"bb open boobs" in your chatroom will be watching your youtube station for beauty reviews.. lol.

My vanilla channel has been going super well, one of my videos just hit 15k views C:
So far 2 guys have found my vanilla channel, but I just didn't approve their comments. I also asked them how they found the channel, and they were nice enough to tell me so I could change things and make myself a bit safer.

Awwwww bummer.... I was determined to start my vanilla beauty/ fitness channel on YT but now after reading all these comments I m having second thoughts....
Most of my friends don t know I do for a living and my family doesn t know either but it would break their hearts if they would find out...
How high you girls think is the risk that some perv will find me me on YT ( even tough I don t really think guys who buy my burping fetish videos will look for beauty haul videos..lol) but my main concern would be that some of these haters from the gossip sites find out I work on cam and put it all over and then finally to have friends n family finding out....
I love make up, fashion and I ve been planning to start my channel for a long time now, damn, I knew camming was gonna get in the way one way or another...argggg

Disclaimer: This post is LONG! Sorry!
I have been on the fence about making a Youtube channel as well. The vanilla topic I'd be making vids for is FAR from girly (hands-on building stuff), but I want to play up the fact that girls can do it and encourage a female audience. I am a certified professional in my field of work, outside of camming, and I am very respected for my expertise, dedication and hard work. Hehehe....little do they know.... I'm a diehard camgirl :-D
I can:
A) Change my cam persona from me in my natural blonde beauty to wearing a sexy jet black wig and acting and speaking completely different. I would create a whole new cam persona, essentially starting from scratch with new profiles and everything. Would this be sufficient enough to mask my vanilla YT stuff and keep stalkers away?
B) Keep my current cam persona, which I really bank on, and just play it cool when I get outed? (Also, use a fictitious YT name to keep the drama away from my professional reputation locally.)
C) Do like Lupe Fuentes did and just own it from the get-go, which could potentially out me as a camgirl to anyone who knows me professionally
D) Do a combination of A and B. Build up my new character until it starts to get regulars and make as much money as my first, then gradually pull content down from my original character until its gone. Then once I'm stable with new character, start posting YT vids. There is a risk of cross-customer contamination, as in my Blonde customers finding my Brunette character and catching on and being like WTF?
E) Change my current character's hair color like its no big deal, just another look. My regular/previous cam guys will know its me if they find me on YT because they know how I truly look. However, new cam customers and YT viewers will probably not put 2+2 and get 4.
I'd like to add that there is NO way to hide my geographical location once I start posting YT videos. They have to be filmed outdoors, which is a dead giveaway. If I'm outed on Youtube, (which I will monitor comments regardless,) my cam customers will know where I am. There are no public comments on any of the sites I cam from, and I don't do groupshows or group/free chat so my customers are not able to talk to each other. Additionally, I do not have to show my face on my camsites/blog/twitter if I don't want to, but it will radically reduce my traffic if I don't.
As for the gossip sites - BRING IT ON!! I love my haters. My friends and family know I do cam, so no worries there. I'm more concerned about getting outed professionally to people I may, in the future, work "regular" jobs with. I can't imagine potential coworkers scouring the web for gossip threads on my YT name.... would they?
They'd first have to know about my YT channel, which is not unlikely, because folks in my field love youtube videos about job related stuff, its the nature of the industry. But then they'd have to Google my YT name to find these gossip sites, which the gossip sites would only know if I were outed in the first place. Sounds slim...but not impossible for this all to carry on to my real life stuff.
One more thing to consider - I plan to get sponsorship from corporations to donate work supplies and stuff like that in return for doing videos with their products. Being outed as a camgirl could cost me sponsorship from these companies.
If the channel takes off, I will most likely stop camming as long as the channel succeeds.
Sorry again for the uber long post, but there is a lot to take into consideration. What do you ladies think I could do given the options I have?

Sounds Great! I would advise to do it! Let us know how it works out.
Sidenote: I just started a vanilla job (sales) after the summer slump, and when I gave them my resume, it had camming and dancing included, and nobody even blinked an eye.
I have a strong corporate sales background, so that's probably why. Or maybe it's just because no one cared because I live in a major metropolis, and they've probably seen and heard it all! lol!

Hi ladies, quick question Im wanting to start and fitness and nutrition channel on youtube but am weighing out the pros and cons before I go through with it. I recently finished my holistic nutrition degree but am wondering if this is a bad idea because I am a cam model ( am not a super popular model but I could be recognized) What are your thoughts on youtube and camming in general. Do any other models on here have a channel? I feel like it would be a fun outlet because of the burnout I have been experiencing with camming. Thanks
I'm sure you'll hear from other ladies on this that have experience, but just make sure there's no way in anything you say or do or have in the background of your vids for anyone to locate you. I'd turn off comments for it so no one can out you by the comments.

^^^^^ What she said.
But I do ASMR vids on YT and I'm not that popular on cam sites and i actually let my cam people see my youtube stuff because I just really have no shame. I have been outed before but it wasn't from youtube. You just gotta own your camming side. Don't let certain stuff stop you from doing something you wanna do.

YT is great until it gets deleted. Ive had several for adult work and they always get deleted eventually. So now I don't put too much time into like I once did a few years ago. But soon I want to launch a non-adult YT and get into vlogging. Totally different name and room in my house to prevent any crossover attention.

Love this thread! I also really want to get into making non-adult videos, travel vlogs and reviews mostly.
I think the best idea is, create a new nickname for your channel that you have never used on the internet before, and turn off comments, like Mare said :3

I just want an excuse to use my ring light. I want the reflection in my eyes lmao. I love that! But it gets too hot for longterm camming So I dont use it. Vlogs are short and I think it will be fun and a nice break.

It really depends everyone who is online has a risk of being recognized offline. doesn't matter if your a cam girl or not . social media has created that. The word cam girl is now becoming so popular in the vanilla world it is slightly irritating we are no longer becoming something special where people act we are some precious gem they just discovered we've been discovered and more and more people are coming out saying they know someone who is a cam girl.
Yes having a youtube channel has increased my exposure but that is what I wanted when I started my channel and still want when I move into my online marketing business.
There are number of fitness and nutrition channels out there already on youtube so what makes your channel different from theirs and are you going to be the type who makes a few videos and drops off or do you plan on using youtube are your marketing strategy to build yourself as a fitness and nutrition person.
If you want to be on there to make money from youtube there are a number legit ways of going about it. best is to create your own website that has your own email list, one that you own then you create your videos and direct those people to your email list and your blog so they become your following and potentially your nutrition and fitness clients.
The culture of youtube is changing drastically so if you want to get into the youtube game you have to really think about it in a long term potential income now. The days of uploading a video just for fun aren't really there anymore because your video gets drowned in the channels who upload regularly and make a career out of it.

Hello all! I'm not sure if this is the right area to post, but this does have to do with camming as well, so I hope it is. If there are any ladies/men/ts/anyone, who does have a youtube channel but also does camming or stripping, please advise me!
I understand that there have been youtubers who talk about their experiences when they were a stripper or cam girl or escort, but for them, it was in the past. How about if the person is still camming/stripping/escorting?
I have a youtube channel in which I mostly interview interesting people from around the world about the world and discuss serious and interesting topics. For example, Women's rights in 3rd world countries.. I also discuss my life as a sex worker. However, at NO POINT on my youtube channel would I ever promote my cam girl profile or site. Nor would I ever link my camming pages. I just need to support myself until my youtube channel becomes successful. Building up my youtube channel is my primary goal.
I''m concerned that if I create a Patreon on my youtube channel, someone will flag it, even though my Youtube material has channel is in no way promoting or linking to my sex work material. I would be keeping my youtube and sex work separate. But will Patreon care? Might they punish me anyway simply for the fact that I do sex work?
Still, I can't help but think that Patreon and Paypal might find out about my adult work and decide to kick me from their platforms even though it has nothing to do with them. Am I right to be afraid of that and if so, what other form of donation process can I set up that won't be affected by Paypal? I was thinking of using Subscribestar by they just got killed by Patreon and Paypal.
So what to do? :-\

A lot of girls do camming and YouTube so you should be fine .i would do something like OnlyFans or modecentro instead the are not linked to paypal and adult friendly

focus on growing your channel. focus on the entertainment and education value you want to provide to your audience. That takes a lot of work to focus on.
I always focus on my channel content and see myself still working as a cam model as secondary.
with collecting donations there will be new companies coming up all the time, Don't worry about it, you could even set up a PO box and people send things directly it happened to Stacey Flowers not a cam model but someone sent her a microwave.

I think it is smart for us to use as many portal as we can to get our content out there.
I have started a Youtube channel to advertise to my audience, get my ideas out there, and to get my vanilla business out there. That way when people find me on Youtube, IG, or Twitter and want to support my camgirl ways, they can! But if they only want to support my vanilla wise, they can too!
Just keep it PG when you are on a vanilla platform!

I think you'll be fine. Go for it !
There are so many IGers and YouTubers I've watched where I just *know* they are sex workers haha.
" I went to the states to raise some money for my next trip " - dude , a trained ear knows exactly what that means !
