Ughhhh. What a headache this all is! lol
Thank you both for your input!
I do have google analytics for my members site, but I didn’t think there was anything else to it but checking traffic stats, etc? I’ll have to look into it more.
re: traffic spike: I do get traffic spikes from C4S sites whenever I upload a new video there.
I was in the MC forums and posted about this issue there and another model mentioned having this same issue dropping out of google.
And I just googled another very popular model who uses MC too...her site isn’t anywhere in the first two pages either??
MC support says they’re working on SEO / released some and supposedly blog posts help but I’m not seeing anything from that and neither have other models, according to the MC forums.
I really like ModelCentro but this is really frustrating trying to figure this all out lol.

re: traffic spike: I do get traffic spikes from C4S whenever I upload a new video.
When I say a spike in traffic, I mean like extrwme spikes. Like your place goes from being very high in the US for a few days to absolutely nothing. And then it swings right back up again. If thats all because of new videos on c4s, then thats further proof that google isnt sending you organic traffic. Its all referrals. And thats probably MC sites arent getting crawled or they're being penalized.

I'm getting some organic traffic it looks like. I checked multiple dates to see and this is what I found in my analytics

It looks like your traffic has declined over the last two years. I think this is most likely related to changes in how google ranks websites. Both organic and referral has gone down on your website. That could mean that the sites referring your domain may have taken a hit as well. A few other things you can research before you make a decision is look at your affiliates. Who are the people that are promoting you and check to see if they are in fact promoting you and how. They may not be working on their own sites anymore and have abandoned them. Sometimes they just close up shop. If it's not google falling out of love with MC (not that they ever were in love) it could be less affiliates are working to push MC sites.
Your website should be performing alot better for you. Imo I think it's because it's a MC site. If you ever decide to set up a wordpress I could help you with the seo side of things.

Well I tried editing the meta tags and resubmitting the sitemap seeing how that will go.
I don't have a lot of affiliate traffic, my combined total of everything from affiliates is 9k hits:7 joins in my years on MC.
I'm thinking I'll need to move on and try something else. I'd like to take you up on that.

Congrats! You're inspiring me to make an Instagram. Never seemed like my kind of social media since I've always been like, "but I can post pictures on Twitter...?" I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot and maybe reach some peeps who may not like Twitter or only want to see pictures/ no regular life posts :-)

Instagram has a ton of potential for both adult and mainstream. 800 Million active users..in ONE MONTH! That's a whole lot of impressions. But you have to play by their rules because they have some of the most sophisticated filters in place to make sure people are posting relevant content and aren't abusing their terms. If you'd like more tips feel free to send me a dm. I love tech talk!

So I wanted to report back that with ModelCentro - as of right now - my site is back on the front pages of google for my search terms. I switched HTTP to HTTPS, redid my metadata and added my site to Google Webmaster tools and things seem to be better. Crossing my fingers I stay put in the G ranks. lol.
BUT
I found something alarming on my Google Webmasters info for my site?
When I go to Search Console > Search Traffic > Links To Your Site > It says 'Who links the most / Most linked content' with a list then directly under that is a list called 'How your data is linked'
which shows me a link to a plain text list of 200 anchor texts, and about 150 those are keywords to my site / keywords about me / clip related keywords I make content of etc...
But then the others are just random shit not even related to my own content like "block porn on computer" or "celebrity pornstar" AND some very illegal anchor text that I don't want associated with my site?? :( I'm freaking out about them. Since it's just a plain text table and it doesn't show me which site is linking to me with this text, IDK how to get rid of it??
Obviously I'm clueless about this kind of thing, is someone fucking with me? I'm going to have a glass of wine.

Have you tried using a backlink checker tool like Site Explorer (https://siteexplorer.info/Backlink-Checker/) to check to see who is linking to your site? They will also show the anchor text used in each backlink.
Hey all,
So I have a friend who's quite the redditor and she makes about $150-300 a day just by advertising content on findom and naughty subreddits, as well as discord and twitter. She sells nudes, videos, cam and kik sessions and GFE, and it's been going pretty well for her. It got me thinking about how I could also use it to run as a side business. Honestly I can see why girls with an already established internet following wouldn't need to do this, as they could just use Clips4sale and things of that nature . But when you aren't already well-known or have a following, I can see this being a great tool to not only make money but help form regulars and a following that could follow me into the cam world...since the ads get a good deal of attention just from people browsing the site, it seems like a good networking opportunity.
Thoughts on this? Also, does anybody have any experiences and tips to share? Where to post to get the most paying customers and etc?

Also highly interested in this. Dealing with freeloaders on my usual sites is grinding me down fast and the summer has only begun!
since nobody seems to know much about this, I'll share what i've figured out the past few days. I find what works best, since a lot of subreddits have rules against advertising, is to just post a sexy pic in dirty or kink themed subreddits and include your kik username, then whenever the guys start flooding your inbox, ask if they are willing to pay and begin the hard sell. Seems like a lot of elbow grease, but not really. I tend to copy and paste a greeting into every chat I get on kik, and about 1/3 of the guys have been willing to buy. Beware of time wasters though, and cheapoz. You can usually figure out pretty quick if a guy is legit or just BS'ing. My routine is, whenever I have free time I post a few pictures on different subreddits and wait for the thirsty guys to flood my inbox. Oddly enough, there are a few different subreddits for selling services or findom, but I've consistently gotten better results and less time wasters from simply posting in generic dirty and fetish subreddits. I've made about $100 in two days which isn't bad. It's been relatively easy too so I think I'll keep it around as a side egg. Plus a lot of the guys show promise as repeat customers so as I accumulate more regs it should get better and better from here :)

Have guys been willing to use adult payment processors?
I don’t know if this counts, but I’ve always had decent luck selling texting/Skype sessions on Twitter, Instagram, and my website. I use hashtags, especially fetish ones, and leave my username for them to contact me. You do get a lot of time wasters, but in the end, it’s worth it.

So far it's been kinda difficult. Most guys want to use paypal but if I ask them to download cash app they usually agree. There are some guys from other countries though who have no choice but to use paypal or amazon gift cards.:l

So, question about payment processors, since Paypal refuses transactions related to sex work. What are your favorites to use? Is Venmo a safe option (that one makes me *very* uncomfortable, even for transactions with friends for normal stuff cuz so many people can see it!) Is square cash still a thing? lol. I'm gonna peruse the forums some more info. Been camming off/on for a few years but never made a serious push to make a stable income off it til now. Hello, btw :) I found this forum before I started camming and it's been a invaluable resource.

Hello Alice! Welcome to the forum. Venmo is not adult friendly just like paypal. Many models use third party cammodel services Like IndieBill and now the latest Unblur.
IndieBill Thread https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?212891-INDIEBILL-Process-payments-easily-earn-85-without-chargebacks
Unblur Thread https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?222018-unblur-media-was-relaunched!-sign-up-now-to-get-guaranteed-85-payout
If you aren't able to get your own merchant account other options for receiving payments can be to have the customer pay through whatever site you use.
Right now my favorites are Veritol and Webstream https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?218212-The-Official-Webstream-Thread
A great way to search the forum is by using google. Type in Stripperweb + payment processors, Stripperweb + paypal alternative etc and a list of threads will show up in the search.

Although I still wouldnt recommend using the platform as a primary hub, its recently made some changes that I really like. Instead of just placing a clickable link in a post, they now turn into cards. I love those so much. Its one less step to get a click through.

Hi! This might be tacky to post on here, not sure lol. Basically, I need one tweet to be RT'd a bunch of times (there's no nudity, it's a Halloween thing). If anyone would be willing to RT it, send me a message on here and I can try to help you with your Twitter however you would like. I'll RT a bunch of your stuff or I can introduce you to some of my friends who are promoters and won't steal your stuff. I could also try to get you into one of my RT groups if you were interested in something like that. Honestly, I would help you whether you RT it or not, but it would be great if you could. Thanks!

I have been using pinterest for my new vanilla online business and taken some pinterest courses and realised how AMAZING it is for promotion, and completely FREE! Use canva pinterest templates (free) and swap out the text and images for your own, use red/ purple/ pink colours as those have been shown to drive clicks, use seo rich file names, descriptions, hashtags, and pin to your seo optimised board.Enable rich pins so you can link your pins direct to your cam room or website (or affiliate link), Create a related group board, seo optimise it and invite other cam ladies to pin pinterest optimised (tall, as described above) pins to it and all share each others. Keep it pg (liike on facebook). Tweets have a shelf life of about 20 minutes, facebook severely limits reach and bans adult content anyway, instagram is ok, but pinterest is where it's at, yet there are very very few cam models using it successfully. Just some thoughts for those of you struggling to promote yourselves x

They've removed tumblr from the iOS app store and those that do have the app are having issues turning safe search off.

I'm wondering if it will lead to a big purge of porn in order to make the app usable again.

The staff had responded to someone saying it's "a glitch and they're working on it" but I somehow doubt that. It's really frustrating to me right now because it all hit right as I recreated a tumblr for the purpose of advertising. I get why, but damn it.

Same here, I was working on a tumblr for affiliate stuff and I'm afraid that not being able to use it on the phone will ruin it.
