Hi girls ! I've been working in the sex industry for a couple of years now... I'm also a studying to be a web developer. I'm trying to join my 2 passion and I had an idea.
What about specializing in escort websites ? I wonder how difficult it is for a girl to find someone to make her a website ?
Would you hire someone to make a personalized website for your services, knowing that it's good for your business ?

Thanks for answering me :)

I'm not a escort but would never pay anyone to make a website for me unless it a site as complex as youtube then I would definitely pay someone to do it just to save time. Alot of ladies here are their own webmasters and are beyond used to doing their own marketing.

Perhaps you could help a few escorts here and there but perhaps they'd be skittish to approach you. Perhaps you should start out making sites for anyone not just those in the adult industry. I find it's usually those outside the industry than in it that are not as tech savvy.

Being a customer of escorts I have seen quite a few sites over the years that were designed by a third party web designer. I've also seen a lot of really horrible sites that SHOULD have been done by a third party rather than by the lady herself using some cookie-cutter program. Some gals are very good at doing their own sites-they may have a background in web design or just the patience to get it right. Some girls are just bad at it and too cheap to pay someone to do it right for them. I place a lot of value on a well done site especially if the lady does not have a big presence on TER.

I agree with Yoda. I've seen a lot of websites and profiles for *beautiful* women that look horribly unprofessional, and "cheap" is that last thing you want going through a client's mind when they're visiting your web presence for the first time. Knowing what to say and how to promote yourself is very useful for managing your content, but the design side of things - HTML, CSS, typography, graphic design - is an entirely different skill set. If you're making enough money stripping/escorting/camming, don't sell yourself short by refusing to hire someone. Their hourly rate is probably no higher than yours, and they're going to be able to make a better site in less time.

You would have to earn the trust of escorts first. I would start in the vanilla world and establish yourself if I were you.
