Seems the new update made it so it will no longer log in. Anyone got it working?
It tells me "you must be logged in to skype" but I am logged in.
Of course they are not there right now. I'm emailing but no answer so far.

damn -- ok edited to add - I got it working it seems, had to connect a microsoft account which I've been avoiding doing. No calls so far but it's getting late, will update if it doesn't work.

Also, are you on Classic Skype, or did you do the upgrade to the new awful version of Skype? That may make a difference (btw I updated, found what a huge mistake it was, & asked SP to give me a link so I could go back to Classic Skype.... So, I'm interested in which version of Skype you're using)

On Sep 24th & 26th there was no way I could sign-in to SP without support re-setting my password both days. Even rebooting my computer didn't help. I couldn't sign-on without the help of support to reset my SP pw.

When asked, they made it seem as if it was just my problem.

Yesterday, the 27th, I did not try to sign-in to SP. Today, 28th, SP alerted me they were doing an automatic update to their app. So I hope it works over the weekend, because I'm hoping to be busy (& they don't have staff on to help me re-set my pw if it's needed again)

^ I use skype classic and I had the same issue. Had to sign into that microsoft box that I used to just close until last night.

I heard back today, but I already had it working.
I'm using the old one, version 7 from the download link on Skyprivate's site.

It will no longer work for me unless I'm connected via a Microsoft account, seems there's no avoiding connecting Microsoft to Skype now, otherwise it won't show you logged in.

I know that this technical difficulties could occur in the future and we are working day by day to improve our plugin. It is possible to still have errors and we will deal with it.

It is important for you to know that:
The plugin is compatible with any Skype version, including the new ones.
You can use any Skype version and the plugin will work with any of it.
We have not made a push for the last plugin version but this will happen soon

Good to know it works with latest Skype versions. Many times I have updated by mistake and I had to get back to old version.

Why the hell does SkyPvt charge me $45 for a withdrawal to my bank account? And why isn't this fee listed on the page? I had to figure it out myself by calculating the percentages. This is a total ripoff, what gives? You already take your 25%! I thought they charged like $4-10. Great to know they've been ripping me off for hundreds of dollars by this point. Why can't you have the same standards for EU models and US models for once? I work as hard as any US girl does. Either eat the charge yourself or figure out a way of transferring the money that doesn't cost as much. None of my other sites hit me with these kinds of charges so I KNOW it's possible.

The payout amount in the system is the correct one. What is incorrect is the currecny next to it, seeing as your account currency is EUR. This is a system bug that created the impression that you would have received this amount in $, when in fact, even if you had not noticed it, the amount paid out to your bank account would have been the correct one in EUR.

Nevertheless, we apologize for the error and confusion. Our finance team has confirmed previous payments in your account are accurate and the tech team will fix the bug ASAP. I will drop a dm to you when it’s done.

Did you get the popup showing that he was a verified member? I end the show, tell the viewer I have to reset and reboot when I don't get a popup. Usually that means the caller is trying to scam you because they don't have a verified skyprivate account.

Hasn't happened to me for a couple months though.

I'm FINALLY starting to get some traffic on Skyprivate but every other call it seems like the box that shows they are being charged doesn't pop up :( I did a 17 minute show last week, thought I was getting paid and realized I was NOT. I'm FINALLY getting traffic there and have to keep turning guys away because they aren't getting charged when they call. This is incredibly frustrating for me and for the members!!! What's the deal with this? Is there something I'm missing here?

I'm trying to transition from a low payout site that's ripping me off to full time Skyprivate and this is killing me :(

Do you have it set where they cannot call you if they don't have an account? It's awesome because they try to scam you by calling and the software cuts them right off. I have an occasional glitch where it doesn't catch them but haven't had it happen again since the latest upgrade.

To do that you should have it set on your settings to "Reject calls from users not on Skyprivate". It's on your profile under Public Profile, Plugin Settings.

I'm glad you posted about this too, somehow mine got reset so it wasn't rejecting them so I set it back again.

I'd say at this point whether or not the plugin is going to actually charge the guy for a show is a crapshoot. I do have it set to refuse calls from non members. I'm talking about guys that I've in some cases worked with numerous times. Why can't SP just work on their fraud prevention so they can make pay in advance free of chargebacks and then eliminate the plugin completely like a normal indie site?
Also the option to hide my price per minute has disappeared and now my traffic has dropped like a rock. Whomever came up with the idea to get rid of that deserves a long distance kick in the butt lol

I usually ask the guys to pre-book even on skyprivate. Is that not allowed? Usually the plugin craps out, if not before the session, then at least after the guy hangs up. I mean every single time I have a call with the plugin I have to close the plugin down and restart it again after the call because the window becomes unresponsive. I do longer sessions on Skype occassionally and I really don't trust the plugin to work for a whole hour.

Edit: Also I want to say, in the interest of fairness, my previous angry complaint about SkyPrivate was resolved very satisfactorily, so thanks for that.

If you noticed a call not being charged, you can send us the screenshots of the conversation and we will manually add the amount to your account.


The most common issue with members' accounts is them not linking their Skype ID to the SkyPrivate account, so the plugin does not charge them, for it does not recognize them as being members.


In this case, you can advise them to contact us, via email at [email protected] or on Skype. Our ID is supportskyprivate

Basically you just have to wade through a sea of cheap ass idiots lol but it does pay off. Since they give the option for customers to search by price most guys just put in low amounts even the ones who would in fact be willing to pay more. With the price hidden I have the opportunity to convert the latter group of potential customers.

It is allowed but SkyPrivate allows chargebacks on prepaid shows so I wouldn't feel comfortable doing them with any frequency.

That is a good point!

Also i've had my price hidden since I started when SkyPrivate first opened, and I constantly get idiots who cannot read asking how much so might as well hide it.

Well since the plugin updated its not showing the popup any more so I have no idea if they are being charged until the call connects. I cant see anyone's totals or star ratings any more.

OK apparently the most recent update makes it so all the features won't function with the most recent Skype. I didn't have issues with it charging guys but I didn't like not seeing a running total or their # of stars and spending history with me.

I downloaded skype 7 from the link on Skyprivate's download page and that fixed it for me.

Hey Ladies

Needed to post this in here too. Be very very careful when taking payment for prepaid shows. Just had my very first chargeback in 2.5 years. SP will NOT honour refunds for prepaid shows. I am going to insist they do because 1.) Their plugin is glitchy and shitty 2.) I have saved SP tons of $$ over the years by using prepayment either because the member was having plugin issues, or I was. 3.) They have plenty of money to cover chargebacks. 4.) They need to learn to respect their models and all the shit we put up with. 5) - I could go on but I wont. I'm beyond pissed with SP at this moment. They don't even have a crooked client list ffs.

Anyone else get nothing but 2-3 minute shows on SP? It's so lame, they really should cover chargebacks on prepaid shows so we don't have to deal with all these minute men through the plugin.

the skyprivate plugin is compatible with ALL skype versions!

about chargeback policy:

we do cover ALL chargebacks if for the show it is used the plugin.
for prepaid we do not cover the chargeback. BUT
we recently introduced tips inside the skype chat window. customers can tip like this: "!tip 200" and will send a tip of 200 cents (meaning 2usd). if this new feature is received well, we will consider very much to change the CB policy and cover all prepaids and tips.

as any company we try to make money but our business model is to give up to 86% (starting from 75%) to models. if you add up servers, card processing costs, chargeback fees and loses, bank fees, employees etc you can imagine that we are not that kind of company that tries to get rich quick type.

i know it is difficult to have a good tech and customer support etc but we try, and i want to listen to your complains if they are constructive.
we do have a blacklist of customers but it;s true that it is not public. we are preparing (working on many features and this is one of them) to create public profiles for customers that can receive comments and ratings from models. and only models could search and find these customer-profiles. I really believe this will solve your desire.

Customers may never need to install the plugin - but believe me, they DO have issues...hence me redirecting them to the prepaid option in the first place. I have done that many times...I have NOT used any other Indy sites when they have asked for alternative payment methods. I have been fair and loyal to SP and now I feel completely violated as I have not only wasted my time, but my energy of a show where I cannot get a refund for. I'm sorry - but it's pointless offering a prepaid option when you will not refund models. It does not give us any trust or confidence whatsoever. I have outlined all this in my latest email and I will not stop until I get a refund that I quite frankly, deserve. I believe in transparency and fairness.

You say you pay up to 86%, but so do many other Indy sites AND they offer full refunds on chargebacks. Alot of these sites do not have the traffic that SP has, so please do not tell me that it's not possible due to your running costs. I just don't buy it.

I welcome improvements you guys are making to better the site. I do like SP. BUT when you guys haven't solved the fundamentals of the plugin and won't warrant chargebacks, it makes me salty as hell. After all, if it wasn't for us models, SP wouldn't even be here. Just think about that, Roxy.

This is driving me crazy. It keeps telling me "Uninstall Old Skyprivate. Old Skyprivate plugin is running. Manually close the old Skyprivate plugin, and restart the PayPerMinute plugin. The PayPerMinute plugin will now quit."

Um..I already uninstalled the old SkyPrivate. This message will not stop popping up.

let do a test/check with your computer. when you are available, go to the live-chat support option on skyprivate.com and let's see what is the issue. i could only assume that maybe you have more instances of our software installed and you need to uninstall all of them and just keep the latest plugin.

So I got an unexpected Skyprivate $ and of course it was charged back. That was expected.
What I didn't expect was to pay $18 in affiliate fees that was not returned to me.
Is that an affiliate scam? Because it looks like it.
(for those that can't see the screenshot:
Idiot card thief sends +95$
Affiliates take -18$
The rest goes to BoleynModels -76$
Idiot card thief makes a charge-back
Boleyn returns +76$
Idiot card thief's bank is refunded -95$

Where is the +18$ back from affiliates???
If they sent a bad customer they shouldn't be paid. Otherwise they can use idiot card thieves to make $ off cam models.

it;s always better to contact support than to publish here because we can not offer support for all the issues in this forum.
if the info you presented is true, then you will get the $18 returned to you. it did not happen already because 2 possible reasons: there was a human error (because Chargebacks are investigated manually by us) or it is just a delay because the affiliate system is an 3rd party system.

So to follow up on this, I started hiding my rate a while ago (maybe a few weeks now? long enough to give it a real chance) and it really does make a difference. The cheap guys don't bother me if I don't let them and even the guys who say it's too expensive for them very often change their minds and come back. So if your rate is higher than the uber-cheap norm on this site I'd definitely recommend hiding it, I should have done it sooner!
