Can you send them my way? I have never met a guy on cam that wanted no make-up on. It would be a nice change of pace.

Are you on MFC, JaneBurgess? I am not sure what sites you've are working these days. I find MFC is a truly strange beast, indeed.

I wish I could go on cam without makeup. Having to wake up every morning, shower and do my makeup makes my eye twitch more than the men we have to talk to. I looked at myself on cam without makeup for the hell of it and DAMN I looked like Uncle Fester! No eyebrows, beady ass eyes with dark circles.. it was not a good look at all!

When I first started camming it used to take me about an hour or more to get ready...I felt everything had to be perfect...now I just put on a tad bit of foundation, blush, mascara and lip gloss. There are also times now when I go on without any make up especially if I have just showered. It just depends on my mood. Other times I super glam it up lol
The answer though is no I do not get dolled up every single time now....and I don't feel it affects my $$$$ at all.

Me camming without make-up? Not in my lifetime..
So,yes Im always 'glammed-up' when Im camming. Im not the-girl-next-door type either,
basically, In my case, I don't believe in less is more.. (maybe fake is more?/:O)

I think it boils down to what you feel comfortable in, what kind of persona you are/want to be and what makes you $€

I've done both. There was a time I was wearing a wig, used foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, fake eyelashes, blush, lipstick. Lingerie that didn't suit my personality. But, I started to not feel like myself. I felt like my personality changed with my "new look", and my performance dropped. I didn't feel confident. I just felt fake.
I gave up with that look and decided to wear minimal makeup (foundation, eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss.) and I began wearing what I normally wear. A tank top, sweat pants, shorts. My ratings sky-rocketted. I was getting complimented by my natural look, not some wannabe pornstar look. Plus, I felt much happier.

Embrace your beauty. Don't try to be someone you're not.

I am on MFC occasionally, but I would like to be on there more often. I was on there for a bit yesterday and the customers were really sweet.

I don't wear a lot of makeup on cam. I put on a tiny bit, but not a lot. Occasionally I will wear more if I feel like it, but it doesn't seem like the amount of money I make is affected. I guess my cam appeal is that I'm incredibly girl next door, so it seems to be working for me.

Hi, I'm new to this site (and to camming, just started a few days ago). I've only had make-up on once and that was only because I had a job interview earlier in the day. It's too soon for me to tell if the make-up makes a difference or not. None of the guys have ever commented on it either way, but I suck at doing my make-up anyway. lol

As far as hair goes i just straighten or brush it. Makeup is another deal...
Moisturizer
sometimes just concealer sometimes foundation too
bronzer
blush
eye primer
eyeshadow
gel liner applied with an angled brush
eyelashes curled
two coats mascara
lipgloss, stick or balm.

I love makeup and it makes such a difference. I want to feel super bombshell like on cam. I don't want to feel plain jane. Which is how i feel without makeup.

I never go on without SOME makeup on... basic eyeliner, some mascara, and I try to cover any blemishes on my face etc. I throw my hair into whatever and put on a t shirt and panties and find that I make way more money than if I'm sitting there all glamorous and in full get up... I honestly think men are still intimidated by our beauty, even over the internet, and it could turn them away to find someone who looks less dolled up but is still pretty, yanno? Esp. if they've been rejected by attractive/dolled up/expensive looking women in the past (unless they're into that sort of thing, but we all know thats a different can of worms!) Thats just my experience... But I LOVE getting all dressed up, it makes me feel so sexy, but with mascara and eyeliner and a t shirt yesterday I did better than before with my lingerie. :) Men don't want us trying to hard either... I think it really depends on your niche, too.

I'm more of the geeky girlfriend / girl next door type; my regulars stick around because of how fun they think I am. So while I'm still not a very good camgirl (I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get more people to spend money on me), I do make more money on nights when I am just myself. I feel more comfortable, which puts my viewers more at ease, and it's just overall much more relaxed, which is what I go for in my room. I don't wear make-up unless my skin is funky (a couple of nights ago I had a raccoon sunburn, so had to wear powder to lessen the effect) or blemished; I'll wear basically whatever I would normally wear around the house. Maybe shorts, maybe panties, possibly a bra, maybe just a tank top. Viewers like the fact that I'm a klutz and sometimes I misspeak and I'm nowhere near being pornstar material. So I still don't make much, but I do make more.

Yesterday i went on cam right after waking up, no brushed hair just in pony tail, no make up... did my workout with my cam viewers, a show and a few prvts and made my daily goal in less then a few hours....everyone kept saying how great i looked with no make up, in a sports bra and shorts and now i am convinced all the money i have spent on make up i never wear except for camming was all just a waste. They really all loved the messy sweaty me! LOL

No eyebrows, beady ass eyes with dark circles.. it was not a good look at all! thank you for your post, lol. I'm sure you looked nothing like uncle Fester. Dark circles though indeed are pesky. As a BBW camgirl i use preparation H on my puffy eyes and double chin lol. But any cam girl cause it to reduce swelling on love-handles, eyes, under the arm flab...etc. I wear makeup so that it looks like I am wearing not, and luckily my pale skin looks flawless on cam even though I can see all my blemishes in the mirror. so lip stain and a touch of mascara should do the trick.
i tend to sweat makeup off so i have to make sure it is waterproof or smudge-proof.
You should be doing both glamour and girl next door looks and vary them up daily. There are guys who like natural beauty as well as guys who like the porn star look. I often use wigs and hair extensions as well for an eye catching hair color change.

Does the Prep H leave a sheen behind? I recall it being gyclerin-based, and as I do wear a lot of makeup don't want to put it under my eyes and end up with mascara and eye-liner all over the place.

Usually, I will put on a full face of makeup, but leave my hair to it's natural wavy state, or put it in pig tails. I did roll out of bed one morning and just combed my hair before hopping on cam. Custies didnt seem to care, but I felt less sexy.

For months, I spent a good chunk of time getting as cute as possible which always took away from my available ACTUAL cam time. I never made more than a few dollars total. After getting frustrated, I just started logging on recently with a little foundation, chapstick, and hair brushed but natural, and sometimes didn't even worry about the foundation. I made more the last week than ever doing that. But, I'm just a down home country girl, wearing makeup doesn't come natural to me at all, and maybe that came across, I'm not sure. I by no means wish to disparage anyone who chooses to get glam for cam,it just doesn't work for me for some reason.

I guess everyone just does what works for them, and more power to you!! Do you booboo!

I always wear make-up and do something with my hair. Occasionally I do glam make-up when I feel like it. A guy once told me if he wanted to stare at a lady with no make-up on he would look at his wife. We sell a fantasy and I think that's easy to forget sometimes.

I do think this is very subjective. My bf constantly tells me I don't need makeup and grumbles if I spend too much time putting it on. For some guys, the ultimate fantasy is a girl that is so confident and comfortable with herself that she doesn't feel the need to wear any makeup.

On cam, I find it makes very little difference to my earnings whether I wear makeup or not. I would say that I'm more likely to wear makeup on a night out than I am on cam. If I wear literally no makeup on cam I generally get compliments about my natural look, but if I wear nice makeup, like a bright red lipstick, I would usually get compliments regarding that too. I find that nice lighting is probably most important.

Meh, I rarely wear much makeup. I'll just do a bit of concealer under my eyes and a bit of eyeliner. Nothing spectacular.

When we talk about makeup there is No make up at all or make up so even if its just eyeliner, lipstick or concealer IT IS make up.
Makeup is used from very little to a lot, i think it should be used if needed, means if on camera u look awful bare face then u need make up, if u look good without then go without, of course age is very important too, a very young girl can look amazing w.o any makeup but if u older u might need some 'help'.
I often saw performers that were looking awful, no make up on at all, they looked like they did not give a shit about their appeal, not good for business, i also saw girls wearing heavy make up that i considered its not needed that much but was maybe a disguise; all in all best is to take care of ur look no matter if light make up, none or heavy, all has to just fit ur figure, skin condition, age, style, the site u work on and so on, just find the balance.

^ Exactly. I used to be very "anti-makeup" cause, as Alice said, I looked at it from an all-or-nothing point of view.
I don't wear any makeup IRL because I simply don't feel comfortable knowing I'm wearing it, even the tiniest bit. A part of me always feels "fake".
I do, however, know eye makeup looks fabulous on me, so I always go on cam wearing some cute eyeshadow and mascara, just to bring out my eyes (which get a lot of compliments). The custies still think I don't wear any makeup at all (lol, men), so it makes me feel even better.

In short, I think "natural" makeup on cam can make a HUGE difference. Of course, there are also girls that can pull off the "professional" makeup look and they appear stunning; I just, personally, don't feel like the "type".

Feel free to move this, but on the subject of makeup to cam, has anyone tried the new CC Creme? It's supposed to be more coverage than the BB creme. Just wondering, because I hate having to put on a face full of make-up, especially lately, because camming has been so slow that I tend to log off after 20 minutes if i get pissed off enough!:toldoff:
Since makeup is so expensive, i'm trying to conserve the makeup i do have.
thanks, Glam

It's so weird how much things change, with your look and your persona, or whatever. Back when my hair was chin length, I always got done up in smoky eyes and the whole nine yards. Now that my hair is longer, it seems to be better when I'm more..girl next door-ish. So I think a lot of it depends on your look!

I don't anymore. I find that it's not really being valued so I don't put the effort in anymore. I'm tired of dozens of the compliments that aren't backed with $$$$. So I sit there ignore the room until I hear a chime where I talk.

I find that if I put on some well pigmented red lipstick my make-up looks pretty much done. The red really pulls it together. Little do customers need to know that I just woke up, have bed head, and haven't brushed my teeth. ha

First of all, I LOVE makeup, and it's probably my favorite part of this job. The look I go for is basically what I would wear on a date with a "normsy" guy (IRL I only really date artists etc. and I very rarely wear much makeup for a date). I don't go for a fake look, but definitely some glamour... I find I have to do the least work if I look as pretty as possible. I also think having your nails done is important because they end up being on cam a lot. Nothing crazy (I hate how any fake nails feel), but a decent manicure.

I also have WHITE redhead brows and lashes, so I really look odd on cam without brows and mascara.

I basically just go for what flatters me most. Full hair, makeup, and wardrobe takes 30 minutes max if my nails are already done. Putting that effort in gets me ready to work, just like putting on a suit got me in the mindset for my (awful) white collar job.

I did do a bathroom cam (started in free chat with only my face showing in the tub) and I ended up washing my face. I got lots of compliments ("beautiful even with no makeup" etc.) but it wasn't a big money maker.

That said, the #1 reason I put the effort in is that I really love doing makeup and hair! If I'm too tired or lazy to put in that effort, I'm not going to have the energy for a great show.

Oh man. I was a hairdresser/MUA in a former life. I can't go online without doing the 'basics'.

I'm kind of neurotic on the best of days, and wearing make up makes me feel like I look my best, which helps my confidence.

I'm always about wearing some make up and looking 'put together' but i realize my efforts are kinda useless, people dont really care much?! i dont know, i tried full make up on and was not more successful than when i was wearing just black eyeliner and lipstick recently. it's very hot & humid here just now and i sweat a lot, i cant stand things on my face on this weather. still i need the black eye liner at least and lipstick otherwise i look terrible, washed out.

Just the other day, I decided I'm going on with (almost) No Makeup, no Hair Extensions, no Lingerie..I was terrified it would turn into No Privates, but it worked out fine, my regs were happy to see me in my "natural" state. I wouldnt do it every day but its a nice change, especially with the summer heat! I have been into making this job as simple as possible lately.

I used to do the same. For some reason I thought that I must have weird luck because everytime I went shopping and spent about $500+ on make up a new outfit and lingerie it was always the day I made the least. I was beeming with such a great feeling because I looked great and felt amazing. All it did was bring on compliments but the men in my room seemed to be a bit pissy with me. I even had someone tell me I was stuck up. Wait so I'm stuck up for lingerie shopping? wtf? lol:O

Now eh? I just get on with whatever. Cute but pretty basic.

thanks for this! it made me laugh on an otherwise really crappy day overall.

I'm going to experiment going minimal tonight. I realized yesterday in the CB thread, one of my issues with traffic is DEF that I'm getting on too late. and that is because I spend like a whole friggin hour putting my makeup on. I also strive for a mostly natural look, but it's like someone else said, when concealing my huge raccoon eyes I look all greenish, so I need to apply blush, then lipstick, then more blush and lots of eyeliner. :/ bleargh.

IRL I wear VERY little makeup, and I usually skip shadows. I don't think I can go completely au natural, because I do look somewhat green, but I need to cut corners here. Thanks for the all the input :)

Well sometimes it works. There are always a couple of guys out there who are looking for a " natural" looking girl haha. I usually like to play around, one day I will do pj's looks, next day I will do school girl, next day I will do " I am cumming in my pants super hot" woman! I think variety is always the key to catch and please different type of guys.

It takes me up to 2 hours to get "ready" that includes, fresh coffee, makeup, hair and my decoration around me AND lights ( which is very important ).

I personally prefer to doll up almost every day because it makes me feel super confident and I think it shows that I CARE. I know a couple of girls who will just jump out of bed and online she is, I think that they could at least get a "BB" cream or a concealer around their eyes to cover up a little bit... hummm why would someone pay 3.80 min OR more to talk to someone who looks exactly like their non caring wives?

A lot of times when I start broadcasting I have the cam pointed at usually my ass in undies or tits in a bra as I'm getting the hair in and done and the make up on. I'm not nearly a top girl anywhere soo my first few minutes are really slow anyways until I get some people in the room with some butt flexing. It works out. I go on sometimes au-natural but it has to be during the day in natural light (which is rare for me, I usually spend the day making clips)

i dont really where makeup like foundation i always hated it and never wore it because my face already looks "Photoshoped" so when i DID try it out my face looked plastic. lol the most i wear is eyeliner, lipstick/gloss and sometimes depending on the outfit and my mood i'll put on some light eye shadow with my worse enemy mascara. i want to start wearing my false lashes but i have no idea how to put them on correctly yet. i think being natural and glammed works for certain people.... on certain days lol i just love being natural because i tend to get things into my eyes and mascara + eye rubbing dont get along especially when your a puss like me that cry and panic for every lil thing that falls into your eyes lol the last thing i need is to have a panic attack in the middle of camming. just try not to be overly glammed up because believe it or not it dosen't look very attractive when you have a pound of makeup on your face, i've been seeing that allot .... not my cup of tea.

I am soooo lazy.

I go for the natural look. I never wear foundation or eye make up and only put on red lipstick at night (because the lighting in my room makes me look washed out without natural light). I straighten my hair if it's messy, or I have my natral curls.

As long as my bra and pants are clean (I only own underwear that I find sexy), I put on a vest top and I'm ready to go!

If it's super hot I wear a bikini and tie my hair up :)

I shaved my head a couple months ago. I have super super tight black girl hair.
I've been told it's better looking because it's just so much more natural looking. It's pretty obvious when black girls hair is fake.
I'll dig up a picture...But yeah, it's really curly and it's really short.
Working on an afro actually, just decided to let it grow out and do it's own thing.

I have too have my hair and makeup done before cam, makeup does not take forever because I have tons of high end stuff that is highly pigmented,my hair though...takes 2 hours. I have course, kinky waves and my hair is so thick and long I have had a hairdresser almost pass out styling it.My normal hairdresser charges a arm and leg so I can only go too him once a year.I am dying it myself today,it will prob come out black because my hair just absorbs everything and even if I buy brown,my hair wants it black.

My makeup routine is breaks down too be pretty simple but seems complicated.

I do all my eyemakeup first, fallout sucks!fake lashes takes seconds, so I do that too.

I normally throw on lipstick or lip gloss and some mascara. My skin is pretty flawless and smooth without make-up. I have my eyebrows waxed every 2 weeks. My hair is kept short (about an inch long ATM).

I have gone on cam without my lipstick and mascara and eyebrows looking like shit. I make a ton of money immediately.

You know, I hate my curly frizzy hair and big butt. However, lots of guys- young, cute, etc (cute to me is buff and masculine-looking) in real life have no problem with it; which blows my mind, as every 20-something woman seems to go out of their way for the long straight hair look that has been in for so long now. Its men's opinion, so who knows why? Maybe being older I get a pass due to their cougar fantasies LOL.

^^ I agree Chloe! it's a mystery for me, also. I now try to hide my huge boobs and butt when I'm running errands, because I live in the city, so guys just come up to me and grab either my boobs or my ass. When I lived in the California desert, (which has a smaller, and older population), nobody acted like that. that's why I never take the subway anymore` You could dress like a nun, and someone's going to grab ya! It's just the way some cities are I guess.

I don't use a lot of makeup to go on cam, just mascara, some eye blush and redish lip balm. I'm going for the natural look, so little make up is really all I need. I shaved my hair a year and a half ago, so now it's kinda medium long, doesn't yet hit the shoulders. I find it easier to have shorter hair, less demanding! :D

Regarding clothes, I try to be sexier than in real life, but don't use anything too porn style, just some tight jeans, shorts or skirt and a normal top. I love dresses so I use them a lot. I generally dress how I'd dress to impress my bf at a date lol

I am not a make up person so I don't worry about it. I am more worried about my lighting and probably my hair then what my face looks like I keep things simple makes it easier to get online with less excuses why I am not ready yet.
