Audrey, I'm sorry you're having such a shit time. I'm going to come back to the club for a week or so when I'm back from my holiday as I have money to collect, but I'm going to go down to bournemouth to dance quite frequently over the summer if you want to join me and see if you like it?
Yes that would be great! I think I'm done with this club, I just don't like it anymore :( I can't stand finishing at 6am it's making me really depressed and being stuck in that downstairs area for 8 hours is just too much. I'm going to work this week cause I need to get my money and probably next and I think that's gonna be it.
Anyway... my night fucking blew, once again barely scraped by with 200 pounds. Saturdays have been SO bad lately and I would just call off if I wasn't required to work them or a Monday and I feel like Monday will be worse. But the club was just filled with cheap, rude shitheads. I had a Swede (the Swedish seriously are becoming my LEAST favorite customers) who said he wanted to do an hour-- he kept asking me about having sex and I was very clear there was no sex, it was against the rules, then he asked the host and the host was also very clear about there being no sex.... so we go back, he pays for the champagne, and he's about to run his card for the hour and then starts flipping out about how he wants to have sex with me and won't pay unless he gets it. The host and I were both just like wtf? We went over this 5 minutes ago! He wouldn't stop going on about it but kept going back and forth about what he wanted to do, then finally said he changed his mind and wanted to leave and started being really shitty towards me and saying this was all bullshit (I assume that's what he was saying since I don't speak Swedish). I couldn't believe he spent almost $300 on a bottle of champagne and then just left! Ugh. Anyway I tried to get back on my game after that but it put me in a shitty mood, his rudeness, the fact that I had almost gotten a room when it's been so crap lately, and the fact that he wasted a shit ton of my time. I just ended up jumping around the room doing table dances because everyone I talked to about doing a room tonight was asking me for extras. I've been listening to some of the girls hustle and I hear them promising customers whatever, I heard some girl promise a guy she would finger herself and there's NO way you could get away with that since we have cameras, so I don't understand what they're doing, just promising whatever and then getting back there and saying oops sorry can't do that? I hate doing that with customers. It's been REALLY bad with extras lately in this club and it wasn't like that at all in the beginning, I didn't have this issue with customers when I first started, they understood it was no contact and the purpose of doing a room was to hangout. I feel like our caliber of customer has just really gone down in the last few weeks.

^I know I'm a little worried about that in Edinburgh, I can't really tell my family I'm coming up there if I'm going to disappear every night and so I don't want them to see me at the market or something! And if I run into my uncle or my cousin at a SC I think I would just about die of embarrassment! I'm sorry Spain isn't going so great but it's still gotta be better than here! Are you going to come back and dance in London?Oh god no! Last night was just one of those nights. It will pick up. Tonight was better and I could have got a full VIP but the guy was too drunk and was really paranoid and then when I got him to pay by card he forgot his pin lol. I still took all his cash though! lol Even with all the bullshit it's still way easier to make money here than in London! I just want to save up for a flat, boobs, vegas and a hair extension course by July (which is def plausible) and then go to Ibiza where my friends are! If I could never go back to England I would!

House mom texted me at 7:45 because there was only one girl at the club...but they couldn't waive my house fee. So I sat around and went in at 10. Told myself if I made 200 it would be worth it. Made about 265. If it hadn't been a shitty crowd I could have easily made 4. Bunch of cheap jerkoffs. I saw a lot of table dances. I'm sure I could have made 30 or 40 more if I ran around and hustled table dance losers but I just didn't feel like it. Danced for a nice bachelor and told him to come back in and see us in 6 months when his wife pisses him off. Haha.
265 is more than I would have made cuddling my dog, so I'll take it!

Not too damn bad! :) Had another SW member visit so it was nice having a buddy to hustle with. Did about 10 dances and a court with some weirdo.

I finally had a good night tonight!! I'm so happy. I made 840€! I almost did a full VIP but the guy's card got declined towards the end! I was talking to his friend and then he started talking to me saying I was the most gorgeous girl he'd ever seen etc etc so his friend said "lets swap" since he was with a girl and then after a few minutes I took him to VIP. After one of the girls was like "you were out of order stealing her customer". I was so surprised!! I talked it over with the girl and explained to her what happened because she was too busy looking at stage so she thought I stole him! But it's all ok and I told her that the next time I get a VIP I will call her in to make it up to her (I'm too nice lol) He was so weird though! He'd say "omg you're so gorgeous. shut the fuck up you're a cunt" and keep swearing at me lol. So bizarre. That was early in the night and I did a few dances and a few drinks. I'm so happy to earn money today so I can get a decent wage tomorrow! lol

My last shift on a Saturday night was ridiculous. I think I walked out making about $150. On a Saturday. Lots of customers but no one was willing to spend money pn any of the girls.

My last shift was awful I couldn't get into the groove. I think from now on im only doing weekdays because my hustle is not ready for the weekends. Midwest is just to different from the south for me to jump into it head first.

Woohoo what a great Sunday. It was slow at the beginning but my customers came early so I made some decent money with them at the beginning just chilling with them and getting tipped and then getting money thrown at me on stage.
Then I see some low key customer that was chilling in the corner come up and exchange a couple hundred in singles so as a joke I pretended to make it rain and threw a couple of my dollars on him and he ended up throwing it back at me lol. And as I was bending down to pick it up all of a sudden there's a ton of money all over me and the floor. I look up and he had thrown money on me while he was walking away lol!
At this point in the night I have about $330 and it was slow so I'm just chillin. Then an hour before closing, I see some guys throwing money on stage but I don't feel like going up to them at the bar and hustling money from them. So then im on stage and I get rained on a lot and turn around and realize the guys throwing money were my customers from when I first started at that club! So I ended up going over after my set and making a cool extra 200 before the night was over.
All in all, a good chill night for me. I love Sundays.

It was totally empty tonight, but I got lucky. There was one group of spenders the whole evening-- it was really, really bad-- and I got called onstage as soon as they came in and was super annoyed. One of the girls tried a really aggressive hustle on one of the guys and he wasn't into it so the rest went into VIP and he stayed by himself. One of the girls I've become friends with (who is like the 2nd nicest dancer I've ever met in London, and it's funny because we really didn't get along in the beginning) was going into VIP with the group and told me to go try him because she thought he would go he just wasn't into the other girl. Well it took like 2 minutes of hustling him and he went and did an hour and he was super easy and nice, he just asked me random questions, explained his winning theories on blackjack, and made dumb jokes, I didn't even have to get naked. I did some dances after that covered my house fee, went home with £200. Nothing to write home about but not bad for a dead Monday, especially because the only reason I even came in tonight was to avoid having to pay a £50 for missing the shift. I just figured I'd make my house fee back and a maybe £60 since Mondays are so shit at this club so it was a pleasant surprise! And I shared a taxi with another really nice girl... after working in London I'm just always so happy to speak to nice dancers!
I have to say, I find these super aggressive sales pitches some of the Eastern European girls do really strange. Every once and a while a customer will complain about them to me but I didn't hear one until tonight. I was sitting talking to a group of guys and one of the girls was really pushing a double dance for the two of us because her customer didn't have money. The guy really didn't want a dance but and she started saying "are you not a man? you don't like pussy you like dick?" and then she got up in his face and said "what's wrong baby? you're not man enough to handle two girls?" The guy wasn't even being a dick, he was like 19 years old and just really shy, this was one of the rare instances where I've felt bad for a customer! I just can't see how saying anything like that to a customer would result in them spending £££.

Me: What time is it?
Him: I can tell you! Hold on!
Me: You have a watch?
Him: This? This is not JUST a watch honey. This watch cost me $2500! Twenty-five hundred dollars!
Me: Where are you from?
Him: London! I calculated recently, I'm worth about $2 million in American money!
Me: Oh, wow... So you're a millionaire, then?
Him: Hah, that's right! Here, wait a second...

Wasn't bad today @ my main club, even with our Barbie in residence. Some asshole threw a quarter onstage at me. I retaliated by picking it up and throwing it right back at him. Almost put his eye out. ::)
LMAO, this has happened to me too but he put up like 4 quarters so they jingled really loud, he was just mad I didnt finger myself onstage like the many other workers did, and didnt even show my vag, oh well eff um, still walked out that night with 1000 plus! Hate guys like this

Quit my club tonight, it's absolute shit there right now. I made my house fee back and the cost of a taxi and that's it. I was in a taxi with two girls who have been working there for 3+ years and they said they haven't seen it be this bad and are really disappointed with the way management is handling it, sticking 40 girls on a Monday shift and 50 girls on a Tuesday shift because they're desperate for the money that they aren't getting from the customers so are getting it from us, which is absolute bollocks.
I'm a bit sad because I loved this club when I first started dancing, of all the places I've worked in London it was the best or the first four weeks. But it's just been such utter shit the last two weeks and I find the staff to be unfriendly and hostile. Some of the girls are very sweet but the majority are quite bitchy. It's just not worth it anymore.
I'm so sick of working in London. I'm going to spend the rest of the summer dancing outside of London and see how I feel come September.

Last night was total crap at my club. Made like 140. The funniest thing happened though. I was chatting up a customer who had tipped me on stage. He was old and seemed ok, quite into me. I asked him if he wanted to have some more fun with a dance and he starts giving me the once over, then glancing at stage like he is comparing me to that girl, looking back at me, etc. This goes on for seriously like a minute and a half. I said, have you never had a dance before? He aaid yes he had. I asked if he was waiting for someone else and he said no. Then he seriously went back to staring at me as if deciding on a dance was the hardest decision he had ever made in his life. I told him he set the record for longest time taken to answer that question and then I left. I saw him go outside, smoke two puffs of a cigarette, and then left. What the hell is wrong with people. Can't you just politely say no, you socially retarded twat?

So I finally worked after 2 months and I couldn't last more than the minimum 5 hours! It was a dayshift so it was pretty quiet but after talking to a couple customers I just did not want to talk to anyone or go on stage.. i was in the worst mood!! I ended up just sitting at the end of the bar on my phone drinking a vodka tonic. After that I was a little happier, went on stage, got some more dances, and went home. Left with like 180$.. I'm not complaining it was dead.
But GEEZ how do I prevent such a shitty mood in the club?? Am I really just over clubs in general?? I'm gonna work again Friday night.. hopefully I don't get in a shitty mood again.

^^Was it dead at the beginning of your shift?
When I worked at a smaller club, it would often start out dead and wind up busy in the last few hours, but the damage would already be done for me. Slow in the beginning of a shift always gets me down, and it was the same for many of my coworkers.
I hope the energy on Friday night helps your mood! I'd be interested in an update.

Rough night. It was painfully slow when I got in and the worst DJ was there. So annoying. It picked up somewhat at 9:30 ish and I went home with $200, but it was like pulling teeth. Half of the guys that came in were non spending regulars, but a semi regular came in and I charmed the crap out of one of the 5 guys buying dances.
The weekend will be here soon...

It was pretty quiet the whole time I was there (2-7) but I know if I stayed longer there would be a rush eventually I just did not feel like waiting around until then! And yes I agree when the club is dead when you get there it just puts me in a weird mood. But lately I feel like it doesn't matter if it's packed or super dead I'll just get in a mood where I don't want to talk to anyone and I just want to leave! I need to read up on the stickies in HH. & thank you! Yeah I'll post an update after Friday hopefully it's a good one lol

ew, who the fuck brags about a $2500 watch?? i swear one of the best things a stripper can do is learn mensware and how to spot the wannabes from the actually loaded guys. once i learned how to spot an actually expensive watch and suits work became so easy. im sure if you stuck around long enough this guy would have bragged about his brooks brothers jacket lmao.

Ew I suck at stripping lately. Spring is not my season. Anyway my last shift was okay. Finally getting a hang of the new place. Omg the girls are so terrible. There's always at least two or three passed out in the DR. one puked in the smoking area. They're all so attractive until they open their mouths and the trash flows out. Can't believe how much classier my dive club girls are.

Last night was badass! The crappy DJ and I had it out right at the beginning of my shift. He ALWAYS plays the same song for my first stage and I hate it. But, he turns into a jerk if you try to tell him what to play. Thankfully, our shifts only overlapped for a few minutes and an awesome DJ was on for the rest of the night.
I changed my stage name, which was a pain in the ass, but worth it. Its more obviously ethnic and it paid off is spades. I went home with $470 on a not so busy Friday night, after giving the DJ a substantial tip.
Lots of drama going on, but I tried to stay away from it and focus on hustling.

Yay! Last night was a lot better than Tuesday. I was in a pretty good mood the whole night and was consistently making money until I just got over it around midnight or 1 and stopped trying to make money so I just hung out with the bartender. I went home with 600 and it was kind of slow for a Friday night plus a lot of girls so I was happy :)

Oh, I totally forgot. I accidentally kicked the pain in the ass waitress that messed with me while I was selling dances last weekend. I was giving a good tipper a show at the tip rail, she walked too close and my shoe connected. If it was anyone else, I'd feel bad about it, but... it was a nice bit of comeuppance that I'll never get in trouble for.

Finally had a good night last night!! It started off really really bad though. From 10 til 4ish I had only made 10euros and I really needed to make money as it was my last night working this week and if I didn't make anything I'd go home with an almost empty envelope tomorrow. Finally I got this guy who had a bank card and was very drunk to do an almost VIP. He was so drunk he actually fell asleep in the VIP. I wanted to extend the time but he wanted to go home since he was so drunk lol. He also threw up on himself, it was so gross. Anyway, thanks to him I went home with 650€!

Last night was my first night back after my last "retirement" about 9 months ago. I'm super serious this time around, so I only had 1 alcoholic drink (water the rest of the night) and was in straight hustle mode all night. A club regular remembered me and got a dance as soon as he saw me on the floor. He got a few more dances with some other gals and then got a 1/2 hour with me. I was able to get a customer from each of my stage sets lined up for a dance or 1/2 hour. Talking guys into dances in less than 5 minutes. Converting a single dance to a 1/2 hour. I didn't tell any friends I was going back, so it was a surprise when they walked in the door. I let them know I was serious. No party gal.
The club wasn't really busy at all the entire night, but I made more than I usually made on a busy night before I left. I didn't earn the most dances, those spots were for the girls with regulars and the chick letting dudes eat her pussy (yes, that's what she was doing), but I was happy with my spot at #5.
Added bonus: Everyone commented on how I looked like I lost weight! Awesome! I've quit smoking (mostly), started eating healthier, taking vitamins, spray tanning, and doing yoga. I've lost 5 pounds so far, and it's good to know it is totally worth it!

Last night was enough that I'm taking today off. To paraphrase Garfunkel and Oates, both the customers and some of the dancers looked fucking deranged. There were quite a few out of town girls, a lot of the weekend regulars weren't there and the majority of the customers were scummy. There were a few moments when I looked to make sure I could see security, because I felt like I was going to have to take someone out. Customers and dancers alike were just hostile, nasty and crappy. I was challenged to a fight in the DR, but she backed down when I accepted it. A customer who was least two feet shorter than I am tried to get in my face until her boyfriend wisely told her to shut the fuck up. I considered myself lucky to leave with $200 and my sanity intact.
Im starting to seriously consider trying another club for a few days, just for the change of scenery.

Some twat who looked like Robert Downey Jr. (and had his asshole Tony Stark personality to match) said "Holy cow!" when I walked up. He followed that up with "Are you an albino?" And proceeded to go on about how I'm soooooo white it's unnatural, how he liked "unusual" women and how he's sick of "perfect". I wasn't sure if he was trying to compliment me or insult me. Either way he got a dance (and was super titchy about getting his change... cheapskate).
Otherwise, shitty all day because it was the end of the month and probably 40 girls were working and the guys became club furniture at one point, and then made $130 in the last hour... so at least I had a profitable enough day to warrant going in.
Oh! And I had been pissy before that last hour, so I read the "law of attraction" thread and in that last hour made it to the exact amount I needed to make, to the dollar =D

Last night there were 20 customers and 10 dancers the entire night. One of the other dancers and I sat back and watched the others fight over the cheapos. She and I both agreed, we felt better going home broke than having to sit with a customer for 2 hours to get a dance. I'm not faking interest that long (unless I'm getting paid). If a customer won't even look at me naked on stage, why am I going to sit with him?

Had my first shift at a sister club. Now I know why they force dancers from the main club to work the others once a week. It's because they have a million stages and don't have enough of us to fill them at all times. I was onstage for three songs out of every half hour of my eight hour shift, partially because I simply didn't have enough time to close any room sales. Not a single one. I sold a lot of dances given that I could only work the floor for a little over four hours, but the $130 in fees killed my earnings. It would have been a bad night even in my old small town club. I can't even fathom how this tiny club thinks it requires six dancers onstage at all times.

My first night dancing in Edinburgh, major disappointment. The club was just so utterly DEAD, all the girls I worked with were like "but you were busy all night" but seriously I danced with half the customers and went home with 100 pounds after fees. I feel like I'm gonna have to ask my dad for money for rent and that just makes me want to die being a stripper.
I'm having a really rough time getting customers to do double dances as well, which I think cost me money, but it's very confusing at this club. The manager told me I couldn't put my foot on the couch, but then I saw girls straddling customers, so I was like fine I'll do that then. But then when I was doing a show with another girl and we were doing the EXACT same shit, one of the girls yelled at me and was like "you can't touch them like that I'll tell the manager and you'll get get fired" but said that what the other girls was doing was totally OK, even though I did NOTHING she wasn't doing. Such utter bullshit. It's really hard to sell two air dances when the other girls are grinding away.

Lol, I did! I didn't charge anybody £10 a dance, I just said it was £20 and not one person argued with me over it actually, they were just like sure whatever. I'm not going to do a full nude dance for £10, no fucking way, especially not with the level of contact these guys are expecting. I honestly didn't have any problems getting them in there, there just really weren't a whole lot of people to get in the lap dance booth. At the end of the night Miss D said we only had 35 customers and 15 of them were a stag party who only wanted a show with 2 girls (and I didn't get to them fast enough), 5 were regulars who didn't want to dance with anyone but their girls, and of the other 15 customers I think I danced with 9 or 10. The problem was once I had them back there I couldn't get them to do doubles or triples. But I am a bit out of practice with stacking dances because no one does that in London, it's VIP or single dance.
I'm working tomorrow and Sunday and I talked to one of the girls at the end of the night who's been there for years (I can't remember her name but you would have known her, she's got like reddish hair and she's got an alternative look going on) and she said to just really push the VIP with customers and she would give me a hand tomorrow. She also said to just to do whatever in the booth, no one follows Miss Ds rules. But she also said that tonight was an especially bad night for the club and that Saturdays are usually better. I asked around and it seemed like £100 was a pretty average take-home for the night.
The girls are lovely there though, they're so friendly and sweet and very helpful! It's a nice break from bitchy London dancers who would step on your face if it stopped you from getting to a customer before them.

Gentlemen prefer blondes. >:( It is as irrefutable as Newton's law of gravity.
Spoke too soon. Yeah gentlemen prefer blondes but bad boys like girls with mohawks and tattoos. ::)

Tonight was just strange in so many ways. I'm way too tired to go into detail, but I left with $500 and if I ever see the first customer I danced for again, it might be hard for me to not hit him. Really, I wish I'd done it when he got rapey.
ETA : I've slept a little, although my back and legs hurt so bad that I can't get back to sleep. It was dead when I got in, but there were enough customers there to get me a couple dances. Thankfully, I was killing it on stage tips. Usually, I don't expect more than $5 if we're doing the full 3 stage rotation ( 1 song on each stage.) Last night, I was averaging $10- $15.
I ended up doing a couple of 2 girl VIP's, which was pretty cool. I knew that it was tough to get customers dancing and spending, so when I talked a guy into it, I grabbed a dancer friend that I knew was having a tough time and we just tag teamed them, if we could. It was actually quite educational and I picked up some new VIP tricks.
Custys were grabby all night. The first guy I danced for... the more I think about it, the more angry I get. So, trying not to think about it. Some were really cool though. One guy wanted to touch my shoulders so bad, but he refrained until I told him that it was totally fine. He made me smile.
Fights and drama are starting to happen more often and it makes me a little nervous. During what ended up being my last stage, a scuffle broke out and the dj ran to help the bouncers get things under control. He ended up momentarily forgetting that he's a dj and left me on the main stage. The first 3 minute song ended (they're supposed to be cut off at 3 minutes, so that was normal) the next song on my cd started... so I just kept dancing, because there was nothing coming from the booth about the stage rotation. So, I was on main stage for almost 10 minutes. Finally a manager realized what was going on and took over, but... damn, that was hard. The most irritating part is that I could see the dj in the lobby just standing there, oblivious. At one point, I saw him hug a dancer, while I was essentially left hanging. I tipped him, but half of what I would have given him went to the manager who rescued me from the stage that wouldn't end. Of course, that was the one time that nobody tipped on main stage.
I'm expecting an exodus of dancers pretty soon. It's getting harder and harder to make money as the summer approaches and everyone's getting frustrated. Lots of bitchiness in the DR, everyone's being less social, more intoxication, more fights. It'll be nice when this shit calms down and we can get back to business, sans drama.

Had a better night tonight but not amazing, £200 after fees. Apparently I just picked the absolute WORST weekend ever to come up to Edinburg as the housemum, who's quite rough, came down and apologized to everyone at the end of the night. Ironically I made most of my money from Londoners on vacation, I guess they're my demographic. I don't do as well with the Scottish unless they're from Edinburgh, we had a lot of Glasgowians tonight and I couldn't understand a fucking word they were saying. Londoners love my American accent but it doesn't fly so well with the Scottish. I can't do an English accent for shit, but I'm quite good with a Scottish accent (enough to fool some Scottish blokes) from hearing my mom that I dropped the American accent a couple times with a Glasgowian stag party (that had two random Londoners in it who did not want to be there) and did quite well! I told one guy, "oh ma god, yer accent is so fucking sexy! I love a proper English accent it aches in me pussy I want ya so fucking bad" and he was like "VIP NOW." I guess I should just talk like a proper Scottish lass all the time! I feel like being an American in a strip club in the UK is so hit and miss, sometimes I do great with the "how often do you get to have a California girl naked on your lap?" and other times I hit HUGE anti-American-ness. I feel like I should just lie and say I'm Canadian, everyone loves Canadians (and I do have a Canadian passport!).

It's been too long since my last shift at the club and I'm starting to feel guilty. Last I went, it was a Sunday night before Memorials Day. Every customer there seemed to not have money or wanted to spend their money the following day (Memorials Day). I made my average hustling my arse off, but was like pulling teeth. UGH. I'm starting over next week even though it will be the beginning of June. Hopefully the crowd will be better.

Leering young patron: "So do you do anything else on the side besides dance?"
(Translation: "Because you take your clothes off for money I assume you are a promiscuous female who will fuck me.")
Me: (sweetly) "Why yes I do honey. I love studying human anatomy."
Patron: (giggles) "I can think of one part of my anatomy I want you to study."
Me: "Me too. See I'm a black market procurer of human organs. Kidneys are in high demand right now."
Leering patron: "Ummmm...."
I could hear his boner disappear lol.
So yeah work sucked.
Even DV was dead.
