Ugh, everytime my manager gets mad because of something, she always threatens to fire everybody and be the only one who dances at the club.

It's always "I'm gonna fire everybody and start all over again!" or "Fire everybody and be the only dancer here".

I get this old guy he was actually waiting for ( his girl) we found out she wasn't coming so I said I'll take her place. I kept sating come on lets go. He;s all "you're hustling me". Wait. I said well I do pay to work here and we've been sitting trying to see if your girl was working. He says ok but I have stipulations. One I give you 100 and then I give the guy back there 20 for the dances( because we pay 5 each). Ok that's a stipulation??? Then two we go for your pleasure. Get what I mean. I say no but lets go. Omg. In the black lights he looked like a dead body in a coffin, but alive and moving. His eyes were so creepy in the black light. He looked at me like he wanted to kill me ( which made it 100000000times worse) then he was all hands. I told him like 10 times" , you're gong to get me in trouble". Oh no I know everyone here. Lol. I said I thought this was for my pleasure and it's not pleasurable when you don't listen. So finally I just turned around. I lean back and he kisses my cheek with his gross old, wet, sticky lips. I was so glad when it was over I was literally so shaken. He actualy thought I was going to come back and sit with him. Seriously you spent 100. So I go to another guy and I see his serial killer eyes glaring at me. don't think he was sure it was me because he stood up and leaned over the railing to get a closer look. So Then I see him heading our way. The guy I'm with was like don't worry I'll beat him up. Lol. The guys almost on his way out. I know that was mean. Any ways he went by and didn't say anything. I literally had nighmares about this freak. I hope if he comes in tonight his GIRL is there. Ugh.

My life has been one disaster after another. Few are directly related to me but all of them have required me to deal with them. Tuesday was bomb. I made triple my average and had a bidding war for dances at the end of the night. Thursday... Everything broke on Tjursday. My cat is most likely terminally ill, I broke a shoe on stage, had to slap one customer and had a falling out with another one. When I got home, my TV antenna would only pick up CBS and Spanish PBS. If it wasn't for a bachelor who adored my boobs, it would gave been a bust.
Tonight, after fixing everything I could fix, I had the most bomb night. I thought it'd be awful, since another club was having it's opening night. Oh no. I made my nightly average several times over. Seriously, everybody just couldn't wait to empty their wallets. I did so many dances that driving home was hard because my arms and legs are so sore from so many dances.
The manager, a 6'5" Samoan, who reminds me of Manu Manu from Necessary Roughness, was sitting down so I snuck up and shook my ass in his lap. A customer was so delighted to see it that he tipped me at least $100 throughout the night.
I need more of these nights. A lot more.

Hilarious night. They always have the best characters. I got paid for 3 dances just to lie down and receive a massage, again. Then I met a guy who was as wide as he is tall, and had the most insane stories which sounded almost definitely like tall tales but had me laughing my ass off. He kept saying how much money he had, and then kept talking nonstop, which made me think he was bullshitting. But he bought a few dances and then gave me a 100% tip, and moved on to the next girl.

So... I go into my usual club and the dipshit DJ is working. The manager is cool so I check in. The DJ immediately started fucking with me. No. Not tonight. I'm already tired, my legs hurt and I have a headache. I kind of lost it. I didn't make a huge scene but I demanded my stage fee back and left. Not sure I can go back but... I was just so tired of dealing with it.
I was going to head home but a new club opened last night so I decided to give it a shot. It's ok. I like the management and ran into a ton of people I knew, so it was fun. There's no house fees until further notice, so that's awesome.
I'm still tired and grouchy, but I have quite a bit more money than I did before so... can't complain too much.

I made $100 tonight. xP Three guys promised VIP dances and then disappeared. The last stage dance I did, there was one man at the bar, and right before I got off he walked away so that I got no tips at all. I feel like maybe I'm being spoiled and I should be glad I still made twice minimum wage, but on the other hand I'm only doing this job in the first place because my ability to work is so limited. I've been sick for two months now and have bills to pay.

Friday was my best day at this new club so far, $575 in 5 hours. I like weekends because we only go on stage 2-4 times, depending on when you show up. Danced for 2 club regulars, and one that's mine. He gave me his number and said "call me in if you're ever having a slow night," which is cool. We met like 2 weeks ago, and he said he hadn't been to that club in 7 years, now he's showed up for me 4 times already. I got $200 for 5 dances (they're $15/song? lol) from him.
Saturday was dead. As. Hell. It was awkward. There were 2 shitty bachelor parties and I missed out on 50-100 because the manager pulled me away to get NOTHING from one of the parties. Lots of awkward guys just drinking and wanting to talk. I drank 85% of a pint of vodka because it was so boring lol.

I was lazy and had stubble so I wore stockings, and my first customer was a very metrosexual art dealer who said, "Oh you're wearing those because you didn't shave aren't you!" He was a blast, and I'm almost completely sure we have a mutual friend or several. One guy asked me to suck his nipples for a dance, and I decided it's wildly more sanitary than all the customers who try to lick my face I just went with it. Then I had quite a fun time with a midget who paid well and wants to be a regular.

I worked at the new club (Christie's) tonight. I came in, checked in and ran into my manager from the other club. I asked point blank if I was going to get fired for working there. He told me not to worry about it and that he bitched the shitty DJ out Saturday night.
It was a decent night for a Tuesday, moneywise. Two of the other dancers were from Memphis and it was really cool to talk to them. Apparently, this club is a huge disappointment compared to what they're used to!

The worst.
This guy grabbed my butt as I was walking by him. So I started dancing on him so that he'd tip. I danced for a bit and he clearly had no intention of giving me a red cent so after like 2 minutes of me dancing and him feeling me up for free, I faced him and said "no tip?" and he said he had to get singles but the bartenders were ignoring him. So I waved down a bar girl, he got 100 singles. He threw me 5 and then shooed me away, like with his hand he made the shooing motion. So I started walking away, then he grabs my arm and says "that's what you get for asking me for money". The guy grabs a stripper's ass in the club and basically gets a free lap dance and then is upset when he's asked to tip. Makes sense. So I kept walking around the bar and then this other POS starts chatting me up. We talked for a while actually. Our conversation ended with him asking if I had a pimp. Mind you, I had told him where I went to college. He saw my Mercedes smart key. I'm very well spoken and nothing about me would suggest to anyone with a functioning brain that I have a pimp. So, I was offended and getting close to reaching my "Ok, I'm going home" point. Because I was drunk, I stood near the guy while I was looking in the mirror fixing my lipstick and telling him what a stupid question that was. He went on to say that wasn't a stupid question, I shouldn't be upset, it was a reasonable question to ask me because I'm a stripper, etc etc. I finished with my lipstick so I walked away, he grabs my arm and tells me that I shouldn't be mad because this is my job. I know where he works cause it's in my hometown and again, I was drunk so I lost the inability to hold my tongue and be the bigger person. I told him that I make more than double his salary and he can go fuck himself. I start walking away again, he grabs me again and says "I asked if you had a pimp because I want to get to know you". Girls, I was soooo aggravated. I mean, between this moron and the last moron, I had reached the point of no return where I just wanted to go home. So I start walking to the dressing room, mind you, it's like 2:30 and the club closes at 4. This other guy grabs me. He was in a VIP section so I briefly thought "yay, maybe this guy actually has money" but no, he only grabbed me to ask if we could take a picture together. So I got dressed and left. Every one that works at the club grabbed me on my way out to ask me why I was leaving. Then I get outside and the guy who kept asking me about having a pimp followed me. He was literally following me down the street, calling out my name loudly, and saying "please stop so we can talk, listen to me" blah blah blah. I was in a drunken rage. I can't remember the last time that I was that irritated at work. On the one hand, I definitely should have stayed and worked because the night gets better as it gets later but on the other hand, I was in the most rotten of moods and it seemed like every customer was there with the sole purpose of pissing me off some more.
1/10, should have kept my ass home. Can't catch a break lately.

First shift since January, first shift in this city, first shift at new club. 29 other girls working for maybe half that number of customers at one time. I got charged a late fee by the club even though I was early because I didn't show up at the right door when I got there. BF was in a pissy mood I wasn't immediately ready to go when my shift ended. Ended the night hysterically crying at home for an hour. Why is it every time I start a new club the girls say "Yeah, money is good here but it's been slow lately, I don't know what's going on..." Every. Time.
I'm so excited to go back.

I never do anything, ANYTHING, in anticipation of a tip. They got what they wanted, why would they need to tip you now? We hold the power in our hands. But when we go the extra mile in hopes of a tip, we give away our power. No fun until you pay first. You can always make it playful. You can say pretty much anything in a sweet voice. "You know, sweetie, there's a ten dollar fine for unsolicited ass grabs" with a smile. Then you can say something about how more money will get him even more attention.
Its always better to straight up ask for a tip than to come over and give somebody attention for free in hopes of one.

Customers who grab my arm usually get their hand slapped, at the very least. If I'm walking away, there's a reason for it and a customer who physically tries to force me to keep dealing with him... they deserve what they get.
Tonight was the epitome of annoying. The club was busy but very few guys were spending money. I did a couple of dances for a group that ended up getting a private room. I made good money off them, but they were extremely annoying.
I was already grouchy from the horrendous bout of allergies and dealing with four sick animals. When a guy slapped my ass, my response was "Do that shit again and I'll slap a bitch back." A couple female customers were stealing dancers tips... It was just one of those nights.

I went in last night for the swing shift to see one of my customers. Had high expectations because he's usually very good to me and average expectations for the rest of the shift, but this time around he spent maybe half of what he has in the past. Normally that would make me cranky, but he came at the end of my shift and my other customers who randomly showed up had been so good to me that I still left with a G. First time in 2015, fuck yeah!

Omg. Last night we had over 1000 guys through the door and like 130 girls. I got a guy for vip it was a 45 min wait. The guy was annoying and all worried about his friend because he couldn't find him. I'm like your never going to find him in here. Ugh. I lied and told him 20 min because he kept complaining. Then I go to the regular dance room and there was 5 girls in front of me. I told the guy" I"M NOT waiting". Fuck that. What if he only got one dance. No one ever believes me when I say there will be a wait later. Idiots. My second vip 30 min wait. I wanted to just leave. My anxiety was bad and I was getting violent. Some ass young guy stepped on my foot. He was walking looking down. i pushed him so hard he went flying about 8 feet. And the civilian woman hanging with customers. I was going to say" do you work here". No? Well I pay to so quit talking to our customers. I was too fucken tired and my anxiety. I hope to hell it's not like this tonight but i bet it is. I made money but those 45 min and 30 min waits I could of made 4-500 more!

I fucking crashed my car about a mile after leaving work. I'm so pissed. I haven't even gotten it out of the tow yard yet so I don't know what's wrong with it. I'm so stressed. I would love to work tonight to make the costs of what it will be to fix it, but I can't even go because my face looks so ugly. My upper lip is so swollen it looks like botched botox. I didn't even know the accident was so bad after the first seconds after it happened (I was in shock) until I saw the bloody airbag. Ughhh SO not what I needed.
Ugh sorry to hear about this. I've been in a couple accidents & it's the worst stress. I hope you feel better soon.

I think lexy works at an urban club so usually u dance on a guy and there will be some that put dollars on you right away but usually you need to dance a little longer for a guy to make it rain on you. Ive danced on guys for what feels like forever and it's a gamble when you see that stack in their hand or they take it out of their pocket and throw it all on you. I think if I asked for a tip without doing anything I wouldnt be making much money. Giving someone attention in hopes of a tip is how urban clubs work.
Lexy I feel your pain. I feel like urban club clientele has changed a lot. Now on top of people who are serious about throwing money u add all the people who come in because its the cool new thing on instagram and for the good hiphop music and party atmosphere. I find more and more people are treating it as a nightclub than what its supposed to be.
On that note last night was dead but I made alright. Im sick of people askin/ my ethnicity and telling me im beautiful without spending any money so ive started charging people to find out. Its funny really how it works.
Also as a joke I told some random ecuadorian guy to make it rain on me before I go on stage and he made it raaaaiiiiiiinnnnn. Lol I was in total shock it because I had just went up to him at random. Lol lucky for me. He was my best friend for the rest of the night.
Im sick of urban clubs so this mixed spanish club has been a nice break. Ive been such a club slut lately buti think im gonna stay with this one for a while

A guy took me to VIP tonight, and he asked what the rules were. So I told him my thong stays on and his pants stay on. He said, "Oh wow, I guess I've broken the rules with a lot of girls back here then." I said, "Yeah, you might have gotten a few of them fired." He said, "Huh, wow. Oh well." And he followed the rules perfectly the whole time and I had absolutely no issues. SMH at all the girls who apparently have been giving handjobs to a guy who's content with a lap dance!

Almost got fired. Got into a fight with some customer who said I stole his money. The bouncers tried to take his side. Thankfully head of security took my side (and that's why he's head of security) I flipped the customer off and was in the dressing room upset and started getting dressed and counting my money when I realized I didn't make shit.
So I said fuck those guys and went on stage makeup halfway taken off and everything and gave one hell of a twerking stage set
And I made $200 my last stage set. Flipped the customers off on my way off the stage and got dressed :)

My last shift was good. Last night (Saturday) was my first day working in over a week. I was hoping for at least $800 but ended up making a bit over 1K. So I'm definitely happy. Another Tigers player was in today, another semi low-profile one, but of course I recognized him. I was looking at him while he was sitting at the bar and he looked at me and winked lol but I didn't go over to him. Wasn't even sure if it was him but then a while after he left one of the club's regulars was like "a Tigers pitcher was in here," I was like I know I saw him! Overall, it was a good night. No drama, no rude customers, so yeah it was nice.

My last shift I got REALLY lucky. I approached this guy at the bar and he was very clear about not wanting to be hustled, so I just asked if I could sit next to him while I had a drink. We ended up doing 3 hours in the VIP. And he tipped me more than what I consider a GREAT night at work. Yay money! Only shit part is that the club has put a hold on my money soon no instant gratification and stress about not being able to pay rent since I don't know when I will get my money (and I won't be able to work again before the end of the month).

Lazy dead part of the day, still did decent, only danced for like 3 guys who all did VIP. One guy had remembered me from like, October, and came in looking for me. Overly pushy "I wanna be your friend" type but hey, he wasn't trying to molest me and is pleasant to talk to. One was an old guy, the usual "I just wanna frantically put my hands everywhere for 6 minutes". Last was the aforementioned dude who went "This isn't working for me" after a few songs and left... he was like super uncomfortable or something. I'm pleased that I was able to hustle him into the VIP and got anything out of him, he was trying his best to take the time waster exit on that road.
Could have made my goal with just 2 more table dances, but I wanted to go see a showcase at my old studio and I barely caught the last few dancers in it as it was.

My last shift was work...it was like pulling teeth. I was actually hoping for a tougher night after my first night (which was one of those glorious, money-is-flowing-magically-into-my-purse, can-do-no-wrong, every-customer-loves-me nights). I wanted a reality check, because I know that not every night is going to be amazing in this city. I ended up making a third of what I made my first night, which I was proud of considering the crowd and circumstances. Everyone was there to see the stage shows and no one was interested in buying dances. Most people were there in groups, and I find groups very tough to hustle.
I'm proud of my shift. I could have given up on the night, but I didn't. I kept hustling, kept looking for the next sale, and kept telling myself that every $20 adds up. It was one of those nights where you look at your stack of money at home and think, "I earned every fucking dollar of that." One of those frustrating nights when the club is full of people but no one is buying. Girls standing around, bored, dressing room packed full of frustrated dancers. You know those nights...

As soon as I got out, another regular took me back for 45 minutes. And then another dancer informed me that a man who "is fucking loaded" has a massive crush on me. I'm like in shock and awe right now. Since my health improved I've gone from an unknown girl to apparently Miss Popular! I never thought I'd make this much money.

Got hired at probably the most upscale club in the city, and actually was told to gain weight.
Umm... I can *try* but this is just kinda how I am... odd.

Had made no money all night and was getting beyond frustrated and upset. Nobody had. It was terrible but was planning on it being my last night.
Anyway, I got a guy to take me upstairs for an hour. He had been staring at me on stage and these two other dancers would not leave his table. As soon as they left, he told me he had been trying to get rid of them. Anyway, he ended up getting two hours and tipping me $100. I was still kind of mad though. They had been sitting there so long (since it was so slow) and he hadn't given them any money...so had they not been there I DEFINITELY could have gotten more time with this guy. Grr.

Some turd was sitting at the tip rail hollering stupid shit and kept saying "X (me) is flat!" which I am. I just ignored him, and everyone else was throwing money at me and drooling. Then some guy from Hollywood asked me if I was going to get implants. I said no, and he took me to VIP and went on and on about my sexy nipples. *Shrug*
Before I started dancing it was hard for me to imagine a strip club full of people on a weekday night, but lo and behold, there they were.

Tried one of the Christies. Forgot how awful corporate clubs are. I realized why they wanted me to gain weight; all the girls were either Mexican or black with big asses, or else just overweight white girls... most were dressed really trashy. Really, really didn't fit in.
The customers sucked ass. Maybe 7 or 8 came in. I usually like businessmen but these all had this air of entitlement coming off them, like they were such hot shit. One literally kicked his shoes off and had his feet up on a chair, lounging like it was his fucking living room. ⅔ of them were time wasters that were happy to chat and then refuse dances, the others had apparently come for the big ass girls. I could not sell a single dance.
I just could NOT take it anymore after 2.5 hours. I can always tell within a few hours if I'm gonna like a club, and this was a big fat NOPE. My last 2 clubs, I've come and gone as I pleased, left to get food, etc. If you didn't make money, you don't pay house, and you just give the DJ extra cash next shift. Here, you can't leave without multiple people noticing, and the DJ wants a fucking signed slip from the manager if you want to leave, even for a 10 minute smoke break. And... no way was I paying house out of pocket. I had to go lie to the manager and say my bf locked himself out, that I would be back in an hour and would pay house then, and he copped this huge attitude and went "Let me get this straight, you haven't worked 5 hours, haven't paid house, and you want to leave?" I literally felt like he was gonna hold me hostage. I got annoyed and said "So I'm supposed to leave him on the doorstep for 3 hours?" "... FINE but if you make a habit out of this you won't last. What time will you be back?"
Seriously even if I had made money, I wouldn't come back. I was expecting them to be better than the Phx location a few years ago, since they've, ya know, been sued for treating girls like employees, but apparently that hasn't mattered.

Today was the worst shift ever, I don't usually work during the days or during the week but I had just finished my semester and wanted to work full-time. It was so quiet, there was almost no customers I worked a double shift and only made $100. The girls I was working with were so freakin' annoying. One girl at the DR talked during the entire evening about her religious studies, how Jesus is the greatest thing the world has ever seen, how much she loves Jesus! Then she talks about the baby she considers making with her sugar daddy, girls were talking about how they cheat on their boyfriends and don't use any contraceptive method but frequently engage in risky sexual behavior and got aborted multiple times. I wanted to kill myself, I put on my earphones but they were so loud I could still hear their conversations :(

This wasn't my last shift, but it was recent...
I had a guy I approached who gave me the "maybe later" about the private room. Almost always for me that means no never. So I went to the dressing room to freshen up, considered signing out, but something told me to go back downstairs. I did and all of a sudden the guy runs up to me and says "I thought you left! I was looking for you! I'm ready now" I was like "ready for..?" and he was like "The private room!!" I was knocked off my feet. We did an hour and he was super nice. Apparently he literally had to take care of something and was planning to take me all along!! That never happens!
Wish tonight was as good lol

Night was very slow. Eventually managed to make good money off of an Indian guy who I thought was a total freeloader. He was one of those guys who spends the whole time at stage with one measly dollar, and says things like "Maybe later" or "You have to convince me" when asked for a dance. But I guess he really meant it when he said "Maybe later"...he ended up buying dance after dance for the last two hours of my shift and was a perfect gentleman the whole time. I've never had a positive experience with an Indian customer - he lived there until he was about 20 - so I was very pleasantly surprised. Most of my dances earlier in the evening were with black and hispanic men. In fact, all of the cheapasses I talked to were middle-aged white dudes. So it was a night for breaking stereotypes, which was nice.
I'd forgotten how often we get propositioned in this line of work. It's mind-boggling to me. I can't tell if it's part of their fantasy, or if they actually think that when my shift ends, I'm going to come over to their shitty little apartment and fuck their brains out.
In bed by 4:30 and woke up at 9, so I'm exhausted. But very proud that I didn't come up with a bullshit excuse to not work - it ended up being worth it.

My club has been getting progressively worse lately. A whole crew of drug dealer types come in daily and never tip a dollar. I literally have seen this same group come in EVERY DAY for the last 3 months. Do these guys really have nothing better to do??? The management doesn't seem to care, and their group has been getting bigger lately. Other customers see them not tipping/buying dances, and do the same. Having drug dealers around attracts the 20-year-old party crowd. After several months of this, it has transformed the culture into a nightclub that happens to have strippers. Even the traveling businessmen are stingier and MUCH harder to sell to. They see everyone else sitting around for free and do the same. Its pulling teeth to get single dances out of these guys who used to buy hours easily. For every customer that tips at the rack, there are 3 who don't, or need to be asked & guilt tripped for a dollar. The stage money used to be so good and now its so terrible that all the minors (who can't walk the floor and rely on mostly stage money) have been quitting. More and more customers put their measly $1 on their leg expecting us to crawl on their laps for it.
Its sad because it would take the management only a few simple changes to turn it back around. 86 the drug dealer crowd, institute mandatory tipping rules and kick out cheapasses, raise the door fee and be stricter about the dress code.
I'd rather have an empty club of 10 traveling businessmen than a packed club full of three hundred drunk party bros who just turned 21.
Time for a change.

my last shift was saturday march 25th. LOL. I made $385 after tip outs/fees. I was trashed because I hadn't had a drink or been in the club since early december. I was there 9-2. I had 4 sets on stage, maybe 5. There was 16 girls on shift. I don't remember a whole lot. I know I won't do a champagne room there because there is NO camera, NO bouncer, NO help button and it's on the 2nd floor of the club. You are on your own. I almost got raped 2 years ago there in MAY. The guy was drunk, ripped off my bottoms and demanded to finger me or blow him. I refused, he grabbed my throat and held me down, I kicked him in the nuts and ran out. Nothing has changed since I've been gone. I asked the DJ if they are doing many CR's these days. He said No, just the usual whores that fuck for money. So as part time work and drinking for free there, I'm ok making 2-300 a night with a few lap dances.

My last shift was shitty! Ugh it was such a slow Saturday - there really wasn't a decent crowd until after 1am (we close). So when it was really slow a guy who always spends 300-500ish on me came in. I danced 11 songs for him and then we decided to take a break for a drink and so he could get money. So we go to the bar and he asks for a cash advance. Then I'm called on stage for a stage set and then there was a "hot seat" for the bachelor called so I had to stay on stage. By the time I got back to the bar the guy was gone. The bartender told me he went across the street (to a hotel with a lower atm fee) to get money for me. I told her he owed me so he better come back, but this guy has always liked me a lot and spent money on only me, so I thought it would be really stupid of him to walk out owing me over $200. So I sat at the bar for like at least a half hour waiting to see if he'd come back, he didn't. It was like 11:30 by then. So I said fuck it, yeah that's so fucked up but I wanted to make the based of the night so I started hustling the small crowd. Near the end of the night, like 1:30am I was getting off stage and then I saw him! He handed me my money. I was so fucking happy. Then he bought a few more dances and gave me another hundred.
Still pissed that I waited at the bar for a half hour seeing if was gonna come back, but oh well, it was slow then anyway.
There was a fight, too, between two male customers. Drunkos. I think that's the first fight I've seen at the club lol.

I spent 8 hours with a guy who came in to see me (from the moment I walked in until close). I didn't have to dance or undress even once: we just talked about restaurants, travel, had contests to see who could make the stupidest face or dance move, etc. Made $1,000 from him (great for my club just starting and the city it's in), plus he gave the DJ $100, the managers $50, the doormen $80, and our waitress $80. He told them all those tips were on my behalf.
Easily the best shift I've ever had.

Aww, man, I'm sorry it was like that :( The one I'm at has been the most relaxed club I've been to in my city and almost the exact opposite of what you described...but of course I can't speak for the others...I'm also used to a pretty shitty city...
At least you know though and don't have to go back! Because there's no excise for any club to be like that.
