Night was semi-busy but we had basically all the girls there and no customers that really spent. Do not think a single vip was sold.
Can't complain about what I walked out with in 5 hours though. Sometimes I have to math it out for myself and be like, "If you worked a vanilla job, how much would you have made in this time? And you would have actually had to work for the whole time" rather than being able to chat with staff etc when nobody is biting.
Did have a good don't judge a book by its' cover moment. My best customer of the night came in looking pretty dirty but dressed decently, and it turned out to just be that he was an oilfield laborer, and some of that never really washes off. He ponied up for 5 dances immediately, and was ridiculously polite. The kind of guy that moves his hands away when you put your knees on the arm rests so you don't accidentally brush his hand. He said he'd definitely be back and I would be thrilled if he returned, because he was literally a model customer.
Of course later on in the night had a guy that was fine for two songs and then suddenly on song 3 it became a wild game of dodge the tongue and i was like wtf. Just stopped the dance, didn't have the patience to deal with that at that point in the night.
Also realized that being a stripper for so long has made laughing at bad jokes to make guys think they are soooooo funny a total reflex. We had a group of Mexican guys in (ended up dancing for 2/3 so yay) and they talked a lot in Spanish to each other and I would laugh at things that I knew were jokes from the tone but every time I did I was internally like "WTF" especially because they knew I don't speak Spanish.

Sigh. Should have gotten up and worked my home club's day shift. Nope, did night at new club. Sucked BALLS again. I knew exactly what everyone made bc so few dances were being done, you could easily keep track. Top earner when I left at midnight had $45 after tipout and I was right under her.
Oh and I had the NASTIEST customer I've ever had. I think he was a PUA with severe insecurities. He was rude to the girl before me, weird to the one after, but especially seemed to want to bring me down for some reason. He sat there bitching that the music sucked, telling me I should go tell the DJ to change it and when I said no (because who gives a fuck if it's not their stage?) he claimed I was afraid to do it, and I should care bc it's driving the customers out (it was Motley Crue ::) ). Then took to telling me how supermodel hot I was and that I was "bold", but that I had poor conversation skills... I think it was infuriating him that I just kept rolling my eyes and laughing. Ended up getting a dance plus $10 tip out of him... after he went "No we're done here, you're getting dreamy eyes, it always happens when a girl finds out who I am and what I do". Lmfao. Piece of work. I really want to know what was wrong with him.

Tonight was one of the nights that I love this job for. Had an early rush with a ton of customers that came in and got down to business right off the bat.
Of course tonight was when my one and only reg shows up, not on the other nights this week that were total garbage, but won't complain. I don't think I missed out on any money. And he's been wonderful, have danced for him for my entire 4+ years basically, and he'll come in 2-3x every week and buy a half hour. Goes upstairs right when he comes in, vip girl will let me know and we do dances right away. Honestly the only reg I've kept for any length of time. I just have zero patience for 95% of customers once they're done handing me money or prior to handing me money. And so many guys who are regular material are confused about how strip club works. Not looking for a relationship bro. Except a relationship with your wallet.
Anyways, one of my fave customers ever also came in. He always comes in after the casino and will buy a few off every girl and tip well, although tonight he lost $20 grand so it wasn't the ridiculous handing out of money it is sometimes lol. He's forever in my mind as just a wonderful person though because I hurt my back at one point and the first weekend I suffered through he bought quite a few dances off of me to massage my back in the middle of the night and quite honestly that probably saved me from just leaving early. I was hurting bad.
And finally, there's a skeezy grabby club regular who is even insufferable to talk to that I think we have finally scared off. he used to get half hours off of basically everyone, and although he was grabby and terrible to deal with, if you needed dances he was there. Except then we had a girl who he would exclusively dance with for a while and of course it was because she ruined him and tonight she wasn't in because her license expired and one of the other girls took him for dances and she wouldn't let him touch her and he apparently sat there like a pouty child for 4 songs refusing to look at her and then stormed out. He was like, "ALL the other girls let me" and she was like "um they certainly do not" and then was like, "also how would you know what the other girls here allow since you'll only dance with [dancer]" and we all had a good laugh later.
Honestly I think part of knowing you're cut out for this job long term is when you can look at the money from a vip and be like, "meh, not worth it" when the customer is garbage.

Last night sucked but I was one of the only girls who made money and I was being such a brat. I was tired, didn't feel like being there, and just got a huge refund check so didn't really NEED to be there. I was sitting at the bar, being kind of a bitch to guys who approached me but they ate it up. I never hustled once or asked a customer for a dance. They would ask me and I'd roll my eyes and say "fine...but only if you tip me extra." I made customers tip to "bother me." I refused to dance on stage and someone came up and made it rain on me. I wish I could pull that off every night but I don't know if I can control that kind of mood. I wasn't so much grumpy as honestly couldn't give two fucks.

Wow, this week a special kind of fucked up. Thursday night I had several "I don't pay for dances but how about we go get dinner?"/"How much would it be for you to have a threesome with me and my wife?"/"I get a hand job in the $100 lap dance area right?" And the dances I did sell were so incredibly handsy... some guy fucking dove in and bit my nipple. Well I must have gotten fed up cause when I made it to my stage set and tried twerking near a customer who felt it was ok to slap my ass as hard as he possibly could; I stood up, looked him right in the eye, and slapped his face with every ounce of strength I had. Seriously, he hit me like I was some sort of animal.
Now tonight, was even worse. I've kind of knew that some guy would whip his dick out at some point in my dancing career, but not quite like the way it happened. After telling me how rich he and his family were (luxury home, expensive car, live in Dubai) this guy agrees to a $100 three dance set (full nude and is done in a little curtained off area) but hassles me about how he'll only pay $90. Now I know I should have forced him to pay full price, but seriously, with the money I've been leaving with this week I would have rather eaten the ten dollars than risk losing the sale. He wanted to head to the bathroom first then came back with his shirt soaking wet saying that the sink wasn't working right. I really would have rather not danced on his wet shirt, he asked if he should take it off and I told him that was fine; he also removed his belt saying it was uncomfortable (which was true, it was hard to dance on).
I started the dance facing him then turned to grind from behind a bit. He told me I needed to scoot up more so I laughed and leaned back (not what he wanted), so he grabs my hips and pulls me forward and says "no your ass". I felt something hot against my ass crack. I looked and sure enough, the guys dick is sticking out of the top of his pants. He must have started inching his waistband down while I was grinding from behind. I really doubt I've ever stood up quicker in my life. I told him I was done then walked out (this happened within the first 30 seconds of the first song) and headed straight to the dressing room to fucking disinfect myself. While I was back there, the bouncer grabbed me and told me I needed to speak with him and the desk guy, I told them the situation and they basically had my back, but told me I should have said something to one of them before heading to the dressing room (sorry but my priority was to try and refrain myself from straight up murdering the guy as well as feeling it was pretty important to bleach my ass.) It took forever for him and the manager to finish speaking to him before kicking him out. I tipped the bouncer, although I did NOT enjoy the feeling of being treated like the incident was somehow my bad. Ugh, and after all that bullshit I made very little cash... even adding up my three days in this week I've made very little. The frustration! What's wrong with some people!

I had a pretty good night! I'm starting to really like Fridays!
Though, I had one customer try to hold hostage the $200 he owed me. Took it out of the ATM (which made me nervous as it is because the entire session, he kept telling me that I should make out with him because "he's a good kisser and he knows I will like it" -- guys like these tend to not really have money IME), held it behind his back and kept asking me to meet him when I got off work. I told him that I'm not comfortable with that, and to please pay me for the dances we just completed. He hands me the money and asks if I would like to sit at his table to spend time with him. Uhm, not unless you're gonna pay me! It's about 1:30 at this time, but it was busy and I knew that there was more money that could be made out there. Luckily I had to get on stage. He asked if I would sit at his table when I'm done. I simply said, "we'll see -- I really got to get up there so I don't get into trouble." On my second stage, a waitress tells me to go to her table, points out which one, and said that there was a guy who wants a dance from me. So after my stages, I tell the other guy that I have a customer waiting for me, and go to the new customer's table. He spends $100 on me, but at that point, we were at the last songs of the night. lol phew, that guy totally saved me from Mr. I-Wanna Spend-Time-With-You-And-Eat-Up-All-Your-Time!

^ This is why I eventually just HAD to start getting the money up front 95% of the time because the club " requires it " or whatever excuse is needed. I can't stand the feeling of cash being held hostage . It seems like he was only wasting a few minutes at the end so not too bad but I just hate that feeling!

Worked a laid-back dayshift at home club. Made twice what I've made in the last 3 shifts combined at the new club, with barely any hustling. Even spent the first hour lolling around, eating steak and shrimp.
Aye carumba, now what to do. Go back to the new place and hope it was in a funk, or go on yet another audition...

This has been a tough month so far. First weekend... Holy hell. We had plenty of customers, but nobody spent anything. They were barely even drinking. I did get to do some promo work at the bullriding event that was in town, so at least that was fun.
Last night, I truly had the best of intentions. I showed up and felt woozy. I tried eating but it didn't really help the nausea. As I quit smoking last week, I can smell EVERYTHING and quite strongly. A dancer, who I love to pieces, was very drunk and stank of ass, cigarette smoke and vomit. Of course, she wanted to talk a LOT and, with every breath, she's spewing this stench at me. After that and then getting tipped by a guy who stank like moldy onions, I ended up puking and ending my night. Puked a few times on the way home and puked for several hours. It was probably food poisoning, but the smell of cigarette smoke is now inextricably connected to horrendous puking. People pay money to hypnotists for that effect.
Tonight was good. Two long VIPS, good tips and generally a decent vibe.
Quitting smoking often causes some pretty nasty digestive issues and Chantix makes it worse. So, there I am in VIP... desperately trying not to fart, because it's so bad I've run my cats off in disgust. The VIP host saw a pained expression and afterward, I had to explain to him that I was trying not to kill my customer with my horrible assgas.

Oh thank the stripper gods. Tonight was the night I needed and then some. Not only did I do great money wise, but I also made most of it off of an hour and a half VIP with a guy that had a fetish for giving massages! I have never gotten any of the weird/awesome fetish guys before! I was so happy. I honestly had a moment in my mind where I was like, "Are you an angel? Cause this week was awful... but right now is the best moment of my stripper career". I was really tempted to stay home after last night, but I'm so glad I didn't.

^^^okay I need to start selling hour+ long VIPs cause I am not hitting my goals like I used to before fuckers changed the rules and made dancers pay more fees.
I had a foot fetish guy once that paid good money. Tipped me $100 on stage which is rare in these parts then $500 for half hour vip.
My last shift, I feel like I want to be like a financial dominatrix in the club and extract each patrons cash with authority.
I walk off instantly from dudes asking for my number, sex, or any type of extras.
I sold dances to 3 Spanish customers?!? I can't believe they understand what I'm saying! And even better, none of them were extra handsy.

last night was weird, there must've been something in the air.
I sold a dance to this guy who was a teacher/coach and seemed totally normal and intelligent. The minute I started dancing for him I started wondering if he was special needs and I didn't notice, and had been making up the bit about being a teacher.... He was pursing his lips, then relaxing them, then pursing again over and over, like a tic, or like he expected me to kiss him and had this cartoonish idea that kissing actually involved two people making duck faces. he did this even as i gave him an air dance. like, he wasn't moving his mouth close to me at all, just pursing his lips even when im several feet away. in addition to this, he sunk down super low on the couch and was doing this super fast humping motion with his hips. the entire time. even when i was standing over him or away from him, which i was doing most of the time because it was freaky. wtf? then the second the dance was over he sat up, put his hat on and started acting like a totally normal human again, thus dispelling my absolute surety that he was developmentally delayed. weird.
the very next dance i gave was to this guy who was even weirder than the last. i think he was super drunk, and was talking complete nonsense. Usually i dont like to dance for people this drunk but his friends gave me the money and sent him over before i could tell. I started halfway through the current song because he was too drunk to notice. he refused to stay still on the couches and kept standing up and trying to dance with me like we were at a nightclub. i told him to sit down and he said "push me" so I pushed him into the couch, which apparently he enjoyed so he stood up and asked me to push him again, then repeated this another 10 times until the song was over.
wtf.
also this weekend there have been several guys who asked me for a dance while i was on stage/busy so when i came around later to give it to them, they acted like they were totally appalled, they would never get a dance from me, and were super rude to me.... like you just told me 3 minutes ago that you were in love with me, dude.
but the good side is that i'm starting to make some regulars at this club, which is nice, and I got to dance for a couple of sexy people this weekend too... always a bonus. esp when they're wealthy and sexy. meow.

My boss was measuring areas to see if installing a semi-private hot tub option is doable. At first it sounded cool, but now that I've had time to think about it, it sounds creepy. I would only do those with regulars I trust and I don't currently have any of those...

Yikes I would stay far far away from that. Not for the creepy factor, but the amount of maintenance to make sure a hot tub isn't going to make you sick is something most people don't bother with, and I wouldn't trust most clubs to.

I trust my management and bouncers to keep it clean. Plus the owner said he will require customers to purchase a pair of swim shorts from the club (each night) to be allowed in. They said each dancer would need a separate actual swimsuit because of the amount of chemicals would ruin dance outfits.
Either way, It doesn't matter to me. I drink too much to be allowed in a hot tub, and ya know, it just seems like asking for trouble with the crowd we currently have in there.

Psh, I walked out after 4 hours and having $25 (which all went to tipout).
Manager called me back to ask for my house fee, told him I didn't have it because there had been hardly any customers that were spending. Literally all of them were sitting at the bar and not buying dances. The only girl with any money had a regular come in.
Told him I quit because I can't pay my bills working at that club. He's like "Oh well you're coming in too early and leaving before the night crowd, come in at 9" NO I'm not coming in at 9, paying a $70 house fee and being there until 2 am when I have school in the mornings. "Well come in earlier and work days". Told him I knew there was no money on days because I hear other girls bitching about it all the time. 5 mins before this, a girl had left who'd been there since 11am and made 0 after fees. He countered with "We have 10-12 girls that come in every day so they must be making money." No, they're coming in 4-5 days a week because they make so little that they HAVE to.
He's the former manager of a club here that's known for having $20 dances but being dead ALL the time, and is rumored to be going out of business, so I'm not surprised he can't see this.
Kept insisting he was trying to help me by making suggestions and I just shook my head and left.
Honestly, it was a red flag that when I tried to walk out w/o paying fees, he tried to 'help' me instead of being pissed and firing me. That means he needs the hot girls bad enough he's willing to put up with my temper. Any club that is in fact doing well and has girls making $$, doesn't put up with that shit.

@Serena what happened? Is this a new club?
Selina M
10-15-2015, 06:05 AM
^ It's semi-new... I started there in August. I've been working the same shift the whole time, 6p-11pm, give or take an hour each way, so blaming the shift I choose to work is a BS excuse. Hell, *I* don't know what happened or how it could tank so quickly.
It was great for the first 3 weeks, there were plenty of customers that were there to get dances and then go home, the middle-aged business men they've been trying to attract. I made a lot of very easy money, sold half hours and 4/$100 like nobody's business. Then for another 2 weeks, it petered off and I'd make about half as much $$ in the same period with 1-2 absolute crap days of <$100. Then it just TANKED. I was lucky to make $300 the other night after staying 7 hours, but otherwise it's been <$100 every night.
All the customers come in, sit at the bar, and expect you to spend 45 mins drinking with them to MAYBE get some couch dances. Often they get no dances. In all the clubs I've worked, I've never had my time wasted by guys like at this place. Maybe I've just been lucky in that my last 2 home clubs, 90% of the guys wouldn't let you sit with them if they didn't have intentions of getting a dance, but I just don't have the patience for that horseshit.
It drives me up a fucking wall that he tried to 'give me advice' and blame anything but the club. I've been working days or mids my whole dancing career and done just fine. If it had been a bad shift to work at the club, I would have figured that out right away, but it wasn't. I've been staying until 1 or 2 am as well, and it doesn't pick up; at least 2 nights a week, they close down at 1 or 1:30 because there's no customers. To have the balls to tell me days are good, when you have to give out free house fees to get girls to work them, and I heard you tell 2 day girls an hour before (so they were still there at 10pm!) to not worry about paying house.
So yeah, I was getting to the point of dreading going into the club. I never really liked the atmosphere to begin with but the $$ was there. Now it's just terrible for my morale and makes me feel like I suck every time I leave with peanuts.
Meanwhile I can go to my home club, work a 12-4 dayshift and walk out with what I made in the last 4 shifts at the new place. Right. It's me and my shift hours that are the problem, plainly ::)

So today was a fairly slow night, but still managed to get some dances here and there and then sold a half hour right at the end of the night, so left with a decent amount. Buddy was soooooo drunk though, kept kinda drifting off throughout the dances. Which is my preferred level of drunk- intoxicated and grabby is zero fun, but intoxicated and useless is perfect. as long as they remember their pin number, life is good.
Had a good chat with one of the girls I really enjoy working with, and she made the comment that "MAN I feel so much less burnt out now that I've started copying your hustle style" and I'm like, that is completely and utterly why I work this way. I can handle 5 shifts a week if I make sure nobody gets attention from me without spending money. After dancing for as long as I have, I no longer panic about possibly missing out on dances from not wanting to chat longer than 2 mins- I would rather miss out on the occasional dance than waste my time chatting with somebody useless.
New girl was also in the back- SO NEW, like, didn't know strippers strip new... I walked past her booth while she was with a customer and she was just sitting there with him, and then the vip room girl pulled me aside later and was like, "could you please go explain to [Dancer] how dances work? She came up to me after her time finished and asked me 'am i supposed to get naked'?" and we all had a good laugh. So cute. Anyways, she was like, "You don't sit with customers? Is sitting bad? I thought we had to talk to them?' and I was like, "you'll find your style, but I don't like sitting down because I like to be in the power position. As long as I"m above them, I'm in charge. Also I can pose sexier while standing and chatting, and it's easier to leave quickly if you're like, "AHHHH BAIL" '

The other club in town got shut down last night because someone got shot. So their strippers came over to audition, but it was too late in the night. Then they made fun of my tattoo because it looks bad. Joke is on them, I know it is a bad tattoo already and I'm saving for an awesome cover up, so there was no way they were gonna shake my confidence. I still look good even with the bad tattoo. That's what happens when you have big tits and perfect hair.
Anyway, our club will probably get busy until we can weed out the super dipshits and bad dancers. Luckily, our bouncers are trained to keep an eye out for weapons and will escort customers out if they have any on them. Gonna be more headaches with customers asking for sex though. There was sex in the other club's champange room :(
It wasn't that busy, but I came home with a decent amount. I drove in with 2 other dancers and made double what they had combined. I would have had more if I didn't have to pay fines for getting wasted Wednesday. My bad.
Oh, fuck you guys across the street that decided to start roofing at 6am.

the music at my club sucks. its like the djs are afraid to play anything that has been made in last 10 years unless its dubstep. I was lazy and sat with a regular all night, letting him talk talk talk all damn night because I didnt want to talk to anyone else. Worked at my home club and stayed over at my parents house to cut down on driving... Friday I made a boatload of money and then did pretty well today despite being lazy the first 2 hours and refusing to approach most of the customers (broke Mexicans.. didn't feel like chatting with them for 2 songs to make $10). My "shared regular" (he gets dances or pays for time consistently from a few of us) spent half an hour in VIP with me so that was lovely.
Then as I'm driving home I get a text from the other club saying how there's lots of sports on tonight and they're low on girls so "please try and make it in". ROFLCOPTER yeahmotherfuckingright. I wanted to text back and correct their grammar... "try TO make it in, and NO."

So tonight was fairly slow but had some good customers that made up for it.
Danced for several guys from Slipknot and their opening band- none of us knew it was them as they were pretty chill and just said, "oh, we're playing a show at [venue] tomorrow night" and when we looked them up it was like oh wow they totally picked our shithole club to come party in? They didn't drop a ton of money but they did tip really well for my stage show, and were the type of guys that buy a dance for their buddy and dances are $25 and they just give you $40 and say keep the change, which are my favorite guys.
After they left a guy came in who was having his bachelor party by himself, and he was such a sweetheart that I was like awwwww and he got 7 dances and tipped and was totally easy to dance for which was awesome.
Left with a decent amount, by far the best night of the week which is good. And literally every customer was respectful which is a nice change. Was nervous because I've bought a few Kamala gowns because I love them, but we are not a gown club and I was worried it wouldn't go over well but I basically didn't get a no all night so looks like I can be fancy when I want.

Walking and standing more at work to 1) keep my talking short 2) work off alcohol calories. Trying to avoid eating out after work. Making healthier meals at home, we have incorporated a lot more veg and shellfish. I'm also trying to get more outfits into my wardrobe that are more age/ body appropriate.

Ugh. Tonight sucked ass. Left with exactly $100. Didn't even have the patience to stay until 2. Soooo dead. I know that it wasn't just me though-- literally no girls made money tonight. Blah. Should have just stayed home. But I guess some money is better than no money? :/

Tuesday is supposed to be the least profitable night at bars, if it helps.

Last weekend was a terrible weekend for me, I do outcalls/private work at parties etc and got called out t a party that as in a warehouse with 50+ guys who'd been drinking since 8am. It was hectic, nearly left halfway through but kept pushing on. Made $500 all in all including tips. So 500 for a whole weekend is really bad four outcall/private work, but the weekend before that I made $3500, which broke my record. Swings both ways! Here's to an awesome Saturday night, I'm fully booked :)

Once again I find myself thanking God for Mexicans. Tonight there was a Mexican guy with money who wanted to have sex with me. I told him up front no sex, but he was sure he could convince me so he took me back for a few songs. When I wouldn't let him take his dick out of his pants, he booked me for half an hour and spent the entire half hour trying to give me more money for sex. I didn't lead him on, I was very clear in both Spanish and English that sex wasn't going to happen, but whatever, I spent half an hour saying "no sexo papi" and walked away with a good chunk of change on a slow-ass night. I figured he'd be angry, but then he tipped me loads on my next stage set and left. What? Anyway, thank you baby Jesus for Mexicans--I can always count on the Hispanic vote.
I also had a guy come up to me, announce that he has 'a thing for blondes', and take me back for dances immediately. This was my first day as a blonde at work, and I'm happy it's worked out in my favor already!

Night started off with selling a half hour to the first customer who walked into the club. He was totally respectful, apologized constantly for "being out of line" even though he didn't do anything, and after our time was over was like, 'Am I allowed to tip you? I'm not sure what's appropriate? Is this okay?" and gave me $50. Also tipped the VIP girl nicely.
Had some dancers come in from another club who tipped for stage, got some dances here and there, and then did 15 mins for an ex of mine who popped in and we just chatted about club drama the whole time which is exciting. He managed a club for a bit so he's always intrigued by the business side of other clubs. Managing a gym now though which is a much better fit for him and that was a nice visit.
One of the other dancers has been weird for days, like backhanded compliments to straight up thinly veiled insults and like, trying to justify the reason I do so many dances compared to her for reasons other than the obvious- which is the fact that I put a lot of time and effort into this job, and take it seriously. Also I get rooms without ever really attempting to sell a room by tipping the VIP girl well and making my custies tip her too, so she'll push customers pretty hard for me. It's great because she can be more aggressive than I could take the risk of being, because if the customer gets offended I'm just the sweet dancer who wants to get naked for them, she's the one they're mad at.
Anyways found out the reason she's been so upset and catty is that one of the other girls told her she should consider lipo and I was like 'omg, like I'm sure she didn't mean it as an insult, she's just trying to be helpful." Like, I have worked and traveled with this other dancer forever and she is a sweetheart but has no filter. If you're complaining about needing to lose weight but sitting in the back eating candy all night you can't get pissed off when one of the girls with a little less tact tries to solve the problem.

I had a goal of $850 because I'd got into a financial bind and it was imperative that I pay an expense off and I made a little less than that... About $830. It reminds of that old "shoot for the moon" phrase, because although I missed, I made 'enough.' Just no wiggle room left over, but I made the bare minimum of what I needed and hustled my ass of. Even started hustling time blocks for my own set price instead of the $20 dance we have. Although I did make the majority of my money in just $20 dances.

Last night-- muuuuuuch better than Tuesday, thank god!! I was going to go in on Wednesday, but kept hearing from other people how dead it was, too. Good thing I didn't go in! Two bad nights in a row would have pissed me off and discourage me from coming in tonight!

Tonight wasn't as lucrative as the last few Friday's I've worked. That's my fault, though. I didn't go in until 9:30, and didn't actually get on the floor to work until 10. Lol whoops. I was a little upset about leaving with $350 after tipout, but someone spent $100 during the laat 15 min!! Lol not a $600+ night, but not bad for 4 hours of work!

Tonight was an okay night. Started off with my reg coming in and deciding to go for 12 songs instead of his usual 8, which was awesome. Ended up getting more dances than the other girls combined even without counting the dances he bought. A girl that started maybe two weekends ago who I had money on not lasting quit tonight. She was asking about other cities I'd worked in and stuff and it was just like girrrrl have a night where you sell more than 5 dances before you think about traveling. Just been a revolving door of baby strippers around here lately. I think part of the problem is girls come in with these expectations that they'll just get naked and guys throw money at them and it's like welcome to stripping, we're a sales job.
Danced for a ridiculous customer, he sits down and is like, "can I take my pants off?" and i was literally like "wtf is wrong with you, no" and then he only got the one song because "if that's all I get" and he danced with another girl later who cut him off before they even finished the first song and he got mad at the vip girl, told her "you'd make so much more money if you did more!" and then asked me for a dance again and I flat out refused him, "you fucked up the last one", and skipped away to do 7 songs with a delightful customer.

I made a super huge decision last night. It may have cost me money, but in the long run it was the right thing to do for myself. I'm battling with my frenemy Patron at the moment (have been for a bit actually). Doing continuous shots all night is my problem. I start and just don't stop. On Friday and Saturday, I will make a large drink to have on my way into work since I don't drive these nights. It is usually strong enough to get me through the night when I have a few mixed drinks at work, but I don't get WASTED. Wasted is what I am trying to avoid and I've tripled my income not doing shots.
Well, we didn't get busy until 1am, so I ended up totally sober. The bartender suggested I go to a table that just came in. Large group of Hispanic men, extremely polite, gave her a large tip for the 3 bottles of Patron they just bought. My heart dropped. Right now I don't have the self control to turn down my favorite drink and I accept that I'm my own worst enemy. So to keep sober I chose to avoid the table (the guys ended up passing out shots to people as they walked by, so avoidance was key for me). The bartender understood and sent me to the lonely gentleman at the end of the bar drinking Jack on the rocks. We ended up in back the rest of the night and he just wanted to have someone to drink and talk to. I kept my clothes on and just ran my fingers through his hair and brushed his cheek and neck while he vented. Just wanted a hang out buddy, and I go to stay sober.

Things have been shitty for me at this club for the last month. Today was the last straw...After being forced into another crap day shift because "it's the only one available..the other shifts are full on girls but you can stay for a double if you want" I only did 3 dances (because it was dead all day as usual) and during my last stage set this little punk ass turd tried to tip me with CHANGE. Omg I almost slapped the shit out of him. I threw it at him and called the bouncer to get rid of him. Then I walked off during my set, got dressed and came home. I will not be returning. If I have to keep dancing I'll just drive an hour to a club that hopefully has some $ in it and doesn't force me to work dead shifts every week. Fuck that place.

Is it not the most satisfying feeling to walk out in the middle of a shift? }:D
(FYI we are again in the same boat, now with clubs, haha... I also walked out mid-shift of the club that was essentially forcing me to work 4 dead hours to access the 1-2 decent hours at the end of the night w/o throwing away $100 of it in fees... and am now driving 45 mins to my home club again. Totally worth the drive though! I hope your alt club turns out to be good for you!)

This club has really gone downhill since our one good GM has been MIA taking care of mom (she has cancer.) He made the effort to promote and get customers in, and you didn't have to blow or fuck him to get a good shift. All the clean, consistent, professional dancers are dropping like flies and more junkies are extras girls are replacing them. It felt so good to say "fuck it" and finally walk out. :) I always stay at clubs longer than I should and maybe burn bridges but whatever. When I'm done, I'm done.

IME, if you want to go back in a year or so, it's likely there will be a new manager anyway, the way turnover goes in this industry. Unless you really fucked up somehow, they're usually ok with taking old girls back, especially if it's like "Hey I left bc XYZ and I noticed you fixed XYZ". A lot of the time they acquiesce that there was a problem and don't blame you too much for leaving.
Just a random thought, I know a lot of us stay at clubs bc we like them otherwise and aren't happy having to leave bc of slow business or extras girls.

Yesterday. There was a Lions game downtown and we usually get packed after home games, usually a guaranteed 1000ish night. But they lost as usual and the crowd wasn't as good as usual. A regular came in around 9 after the rush which was awesome 'cause I didn't have to work as hard... Then I got a frickin anxiety attack and had to go upstairs and leave my cusyie by himself while I sat in the dressing rm for at least a half hour waiting for it to subside. I got through it and my customer waited and I was able to finish out the night... $1161 after tip-out. Grateful.

Good God, I have to quit working Mondays. So, so awful.
Apparently their remodel went well over budget. To make it up, they raised house fee by $5, no big deal, but are now charging us $20 for use of the couch dance area on top of the guy's wristband purchase. That I'm not so hot on. Already today one of the extras girls was caught trying to sneak a customer over into the nude area, so she could do her dirty deeds in private and weasel out of the $20 fee. I can see it's going to be a nightmare to enforce for them.
Annoyed me a bit that their remedy for going over budget is to squeeze an extra $25/shift out of each dancer, as well as raising the DJ's house fees, but not increasing the drinks or cover by one red cent.

Tonight wasn't AS aggravating as last Tuesday. Made $205 as opposed to $100 (the amount I made last Tuesday lol). I also got in late; it was another 9:30 night, which I hate doing. As it is, I hate going in at 9, so I really don't know why I made that a habit in the first place! Lol but today, I left my apartment late so thats why I came in at 9:30. So with that being said, I can't complain about not banking or hitting my average when I'm not putting in the hours! Lol
However, even though it was pretty slow, it wasn't like pulling teeth to get dances! I approached one guy, but his friend bought 5 dances from me. That was a good start to the night!! And then another guy (who's friend I danced for earlier, but only night one dance) made me a money skirt while I was on stage (I was pretty amused by that), then bought 3 dances from me when I was done. Overall, I was pretty busy until it died down at 1.
I stayed until 2, in case I'd get lucky with a big spender (and for a lower house fee lol). The big spender idea didn't happen. Boo. There was a large group that came in at the last 15 min, and they wanted to buy a bottle and sign some girls out (the club was going to stay open later)... But I didn't stick around because there were female customers. That sounds mean, but I don't like dancing for them. I just can't pretend to be into it, especially when I'm sober!!! Lol. That, and I think they were expecting the high energy party type, and I wasn't really in that mood! I was tired and wanted to go home and snuggle with my kitty. Lol I'm getting old!

Was there a full moon tonight or something? Seriously. I got in around 9 (I tried to go in at 8! I was taking my sweet ass time getting ready at home though. haha) it was pretty dead when I got in, but I wasn't going to let that get me down. Apparently there was a game going on at that time, so I expected it to get busy later on.
On my first stage set, someone tips me a $20. Naturally I go up to him when I'm done, and he then gives me $40 and tells me that he wants to hear my life story in 15 min. He didn't want any dances, just a quick chat. Okay, that was cool with me! Lol Afterwards, I go do a few dances and remained busy until 11:30 or so. That's when it slowed down for me. As soon as I go on stage again, another guy tips me $15. I decide to go see him when I was done with all stages. We talk for awhile, but he only wanted the $10 table dances. I didn't try to argue-- I was pretty bored for awhile there (before talking to him) and money is money. I proceeded to give him 4 dances. When we were done, hehands me a $100 bill and doesn't want change! Holy shit, a $60 tip? Sweet! Well, it was about time for me to do another stage set at that time (wow I did a lot of stages last night lol) and when I was on stage 2, he tips me with a $50, and then tips me another $40 on my third stage! What?! Once this was done, So I got off stage to chill out for awhile. When I got back on stage again, he tips me another $40!!! I was just like, whoa. I was going to go see him to thank him after I got off, but at that time, he was occupied with another girl. No biggie, because I caught him as we were closing and we chatted for awhile. Money aside, he was a very nice guy!
But I don't think that's ever happened to me before! Left with just under $500 (probably could have hit that amount had I gotten in earlier for a cheaper house fee lol) without really doing that much work tonight. Lol sweet deal! But, it is def another type of night that I won't take for granted. That shit doesnt happen every day! Feel like I should take the night off tonight, since I plan on going in tomorrow night and my legs are sore... We'll see how I feel this afternoon. Lol

Slowwwwwww... 31 freaking girls showed up for dayshift. That's insane. Half as many customers as a normal Friday. Not exactly an easy shift but I made something at least.
Probably the funniest bit was a girl I'm friendly with (who is a veteran badass hustler... like, dudes have financed cars for her) complaining it was slow. I said "Pfft I gotta sit in the other DR and listen to so-and-so talk about how it's really not bad", and her incredibly loud response was "So-and-so is a WHORE!" :rotfl:
("so-and-so" is actually my friend that I hang out with outside work sometimes, but she really is an extras girl and I wish she didn't work there).
