Worked for the first time in almost a year at a new club tonight! I drove to a different city an hour away. I made $271 which isn't that great but I spent alot of time doing paperwork and being introduced to the managers and dj and listening to them tell me about all the rules, etc. I didn't want to stress myself out, so I went in with the mindset that tonight was an "experiment". I didn't put any pressure on myself and just took my time feeling the place out. My first stage set had me so tired lol. I wanted to go home and lay down in bed but I stuck with it until closing.
I need to find my hustle again. I spent too much time talking to guys and not enough time trying to make money. But like I said, it was a low-pressure night, so I have no regrets. But next time I work, I will hustle alot harder. I'm sure my body is going to be sore the next 2 days. I'm so glad I decided to finally work tonight because goddess knows I don't make enough at my vanilla job. Feels good to be back in the game.

Last night was deffo a shitshow and not that profitable but it had a couple highlights-
I'd only been on the floor a few minutes when a kid from one of the bachelor parties came up and asked if I wanted to dance for him. Turns out he recognized me from a club thousands of miles away that I did literally one shift at while visiting about a month ago. How utterly random.
Also danced for a bachelor who was in a full He-Man outfit. Like, red undies with fur trim that hid nothing, and that X armor piece with no shirt under it and a huge wig for the majestic hair and I was pretty surprised that they let him in but he was our second bachelor of the night with no shirt so I guess this is just a trend now?

Last night was epicly slow. I didn't make much, but it was more than a Saturday night at my old club. I'm constantly amazed by just how easy it is to sell dances here.
I ran into a customer from another club (this happens frequently) and he tipped me $5 for knowing that the expression "Two ships passing in the night" was written by Longfellow. I didn't really know and threw out the name of a random poet but I didn't admit to it.
We also had a "strippers are people too" moment with an old friend of mine in the smoking cage. She opened up about some family issues and some very vulnerable feelings about it. I talked her through it and had her smiling by the end. One of those great, supportive moments that makes me happy to work with some amazing women! I'm glad she's my friend.
Since it was slow, a few of us watched some drama unfold throughout the night. There's a very new, very unstable and likely very toxic relationship going on between a new dancer and a male staff member. She got insanely jealous every time he talked to another female employee or watched a girl on stage. They had a few arguments and she either hung out with him or pouted by herself all night. I was on second stage and he was obviously watching. She was sitting right by a customer I was focused on, so I could see her scowl at me and then turn and scowl at him. It's suspected that he's cheating on his girlfriend with her and she has no idea. He has no idea that she brought her boyfriend with her when she auditioned. This will not end well. I kinda hope we all get to watch the train wreck.
At the end of the night, a very drunk customer pulled his dick out not 5 feet away from a group of bouncers collecting rain money. It was obvious that something happened by my reaction and were right there when I told him not to show off a dick that small because it's really disappointing. I think he was too drunk for it to even register.

My last shift was Saturday and it was just WEIRD. There were a ton of couples and small groups of guys but nobody seemed to be buying dances—a lot of girls were complaining about how weird it was and it seems like no one did very well. I convinced one guy who said he didn’t want a dance to get one just by being funny and then I lucked out later by seeming to be exactly this other guy’s “type” but that was it. I honestly feel like the DJ really kills the vibe on top of that. Like who actually wants to hear “Nookie” by Limp Bizkit? I wasn’t sure if I was just being whiny (not to him) but a friend came to visit me that day and without even knowing how I felt asked wtf was up with the music. I’m going on vacation next week and when I get back I’m glad I’ll have the schedule availability to start trying day shift.

Made $700 on a monday... also had a drunk homeless guy slam his head into my drivers side door while I was working. He left a massive dent below my window... probably $500 worth of damage which is about the same as my deductible. Had to call the police and deal with that. The bouncers even caught the guy and got him on camera. Despite their efforts I'm most likely going to have to just eat the cost. At least I had a decent night and know that I can count on the bouncers to look out for me. I can definitely say it pays to tip well. Still, kind of sucks making a net earning of $200 when I could have used the full $700.

I hate couples coming in. Also, Nookie by limp Bizkit Lol! No one does want to hear that anymore I believe lol! I used to think Fred Durst was cute. But then I saw him in a restaurant. He's a mini man. I think I'm bigger and taller than him. It was a bummer to see that! Lol!

Really liking this new club. I'm so glad to have finally found one that suits me. The commute is long but it's worth it. Made on a Tuesday what I could only hope to make on a Friday or Saturday night at my old club. I can't remember the last time I made this much during any shift, let alone during a weeknight. Customers ask me for dances and my head is still spinning from that, at the old club you had to kiss ass with a guy for 30 minutes on a weeknight just to hear a "maybe".

I don’t mind couples in theory, it really depends. My ex and I used to go to clubs and spend money and get dances, and there is at least one regular couple at my club that are pretty awesome. it was just weird how many there were that night, I’ve never seen so many couples in a club, even before I started dancing. I also found out yesterday one of the girls I really like actually picked that song LOL but there was a lot of other just awful music that is super outdated and not sexy or danceable. Also lol about your real life encounter with Fred Durst!

$296 on a slow Friday, got a little turnt, had to fend off a guy who kept trying to finger me during dances.. ugh but I had fun and I just hope the holiday next week doesn’t make next Friday even slower >:| I’m also hoping for some customers who won’t try to finger me.. even if it’s just for the night. Lately I’ve been getting all the grabby Gary’s

I was sitting on 4 dances for the longest time and just felt like nobody was buying and my timing was all off and then psyched myself up to talk to one more table and a guy asked "how much for a dance" so I told him $30 and he hmmmed about it for a minute or two and then was like "okay let's go" and I was like fine, I'm cool with doing a single after how awful tonight has been, like i'll take anything rn haha
And then when we got upstairs the VIP host was like "there's two hours left of the night" and he bought that and turned out to be super fun so it was actually a great night.
I hate summer though, so much of work around here is waiting till everybody gets off the patios at 11ish and then they wanna settle in when they finally get to the club so I feel like the last couple hours of the night is usually decent but damn does it take forever to get there.

Oh man I feel this so hard. Like I try so hard to be like "I am an assertive bad bitch!" and then when something like that happens I'm just in stunned shock
Not related- Just woke up and the club manager posted that he got a knife pulled on him last night outside closing up so he was like "there is absolutely no more refusing walkouts ever"
He's already been stabbed once like leave the poor guy alone. This is a nice club in an area that I would not call remotely sketchy so it's really unexpected to keep having problems with this

Thursday sucked until the last hour. A group of 3 business travelers showed up at about midnight and the rest showed up at 1:30 ish. I could have sold a TON of dances, but they arrived so late that I ran out of time.
Last night was just weird. Lots of couples and lots of really bizarre people. One guy insisted that my hair was completely gray. It's black. It's very unmistakably black. Two waitresses were dancing, rather than waitressing. Unexpected but they're sweethearts, so I made a point of telling them how great they look on stage etc.
Drama couple wasn't even interesting. She did her stages and sat by him the whole night. By the time I got into my groove, I was bringing a slow but steady stream of customers and she just sat there. When she did leave, he made a point of talking to me, helping me navigate the stairs, etc. People are weird.
I really have to figure out how to sleep more than 4-6 hours after a shift. I always wake up hungry and sore, even though I take Aleve and eat before I go to bed. I really want to bail on working tonight but I have a feature and I still need to make $300. Ugh!

Last night was ass. There were so many girls that the DJ snapped at me when I signed in about "Don't ask me when you're up, 15 girls just signed in". This club comfortably accommodates 20 girls on a BUSY night... There were probably 35 on.
Later he started sassing the crowd "If you're not here to at least drink, get the fuck out", "I don't see any dances going on out there" *customer and girl move to booth* "Oh look! There's one, we got ONE dance ladies and gentlemen!" At any given time, there were half a dozen strippers sitting in the dance booths chatting, 2-3 more on another wall, another few talking to bouncers.... Twas bad.
I sold a couple small VIPs and a booth dance, and girls were like "It sucks but you're doing good!" What?! I'm gonna leave with like $160 after fees... on a Friday... That's pretty much what happened. I essentially got bored of the crowd by midnight and gave up. I suspect I could have gotten a few more dances but meh.

Switched clubs and prefer the new one for weekends during this season so to all the ladies who are wondering if the grass is greener- you're a boss go see- if you can earn well at your home club you can do the same anywhere.

Tonight was more like a Tuesday than a Saturday. So epicly slow. I sold dances, but there just weren't many opportunities. I also ended up wearing an old pair of sandals, rather than my knee boots, which was really awkward. They just look SO nice and it was worth the aching feet and occasional wobble.
A waitress was really nice to me, so I tipped her $10. She was so astounded. Like... Total disbelief. I told her that she was cool to me, I like her and it's the stripper way to say thank you. She was all smiles for the rest of the night, so there was that. Two waitresses from my old club came in and it was nice to see them too. They're probably going to apply to waitress or dance and I hope they do.
It was really one of those "When life gives you lemons" kind of night.

Tonight was kinda slow for a Saturday, but I did alright. Not awesome, but I made more than my last shift. The dancers at this club are so friendly that it catches me off guard. The other clubs I worked at in my city, the dancers usually kept to themselves or were just straight up bitches. But at this new club in a different city, the girls in the dressing room were talking to me every time I went in there. I'm not used to that at all. Must be the different culture. I almost didn't work tonight because I was so beat this week from my vanilla job. But I made myself go in. I'm definitely not working next Saturday though because Memorial Day weekend is literally the worst weekend of the year for strip clubs here.

If you need a pick me up at work make your customer buy you a redbû'll or juice or some shit. No need to drink water all night just because you're not drinking.
Thanks for the tip love. I don’t usually drink energy drinks but that’s actually a good idea. Might give me a nice little pick me up. I’m going to try that tomorrow when I return to work.

The club has not been empty and yet the last two nights have been meh for me. Not a waste of time. But definitely not meeting my goal...what do you guys do when you feel like you've lost it.
If you can afford to , maybe take a shift off. Do an at home facial/mask, do an activity you enjoy (if it’s nice go hiking by a lake or some shit like that), have a meal you enjoy, etc...basically whatever you do as self care. Read some stripper web lol and try again. Literally what I’m doing before getting back to my club after a week off recuperating from burnout/health issues.

Haven't posted in a whiiiiiile! I thought the ladies might find this lil anecdote entertaining...from the perspective of a recently retired dancer who switched over to bartending/serving at my club...holy fuck. I can't even. I know the ladies on this forum are of the better behaved variety usually...so was I and man has it been an eye opening experience as to what the staff have to deal with on the other side of the bar 😱😨😰
So I got called dumb and then stupid and then dumb about 7 more times tonight by a coked out cunt 3 mini bottles of wine and 10 tequilas deep...who also accused me of stealing her booze...Fuck. This. Shit. And also: where ma damn heels. Seriously.
But do you know what I just realized? I have not yet flexed the extent of my new powers 😈
I should have cut that Bitch off when she accused me of stealing her wine. And called me stupid and dumb again. I shoulda been like "you wanna call the bartender dumb? No more alcohol for you how bout dat! Who's the dumb one now?"
I had the power...and I let the moment slip away...never again...

^ Hey girl hey! :D Nice to see you back!
I gotta share this, cause it was hilarious.
Saturday night, there was this big black dude - you know the type, wearing a chain, white t & baggy jeans, "my nigga this" and "my nigga that". He also had 3 towels hanging from his pants pockets (???) Couldn't understand half of what he said, it was all ebonics and slurring. He had his whole posse with him too.
Apparently he came up to a bouncer and said "Y'all call this a strip club? Look at these girls. You should be embarassed! When do you bring the REAL women out?" We all laughed about it, saying he should know he's not in Atlanta at Magic City anymore.
A while later, I'm walking through the club and he's standing near my destination. He stops and goes "God DAMN!" and starts getting up in my shit. He's asking me on a date, talking about "I want you to do that freaky shit to me", oh my God it was so funny. I declined and he puffed his chest out, points to some trashy drunk girl with his gang and says how he's gonna take her home and fuck her later. I said "Cool bro, you do that, bye"
I cannot believe this guy went after ME, after all his "where the real women at" nonsense. I'm a rail thin white girl that dances to Marilyn Manson. What on earth :rotfl:

Our lotta-junk-in-the-trunk gals are Cuban or hispanic, and the black girls are slender, and we have a plethora of white girls of all sizes... so by process of elimination, we assumed that by "real women", he meant the one combo we don't have.... which are big booty black ladies.

Last night we had a TON of guys in from this national trades competition and i worked so goddamn hard trying to sell dances to them and they were not having me. Other girls were getting scattered dances so it's not like they were big spenders but just like damn surely one of you could go for a couple dances so I make my fee back...
So sitting on 0 right near the end of the night when a couple young guys came in, they had questions about the dances so I took them to VIP and had the host explain the different packages, they were like Okay we're gonna have a few beers, come back and we'll do some dances. Came back to their table later, one of them asked me to find another girl they'd had their eye on and then they both bought the last hour of the night with us.
I wish we could know ahead of time when that was gonna happen cause I would have sat on my ass till 1:30 and not talked to any of those initial losers.
Also the girl they picked is one that will return the favor for sure so that's good. I also thought she'd done a decent number of dances earlier but it turned out that she'd only done 2 prior to that hour so she was super thrilled.

This table of bros waved me over. One said he'd pay me to slap his buddy, so I did. Then the dude I slapped got all butt hurt about it, so I left. About 20 minutes later my manager came up and was like, "A customer said you slapped him." I was all, "Yeah, I did. His buddy paid me to." Then I heard my manager say something about "terminated" and I said, "Wait, am I TERMINATED?" He said no, but I could be for doing that.
I would have slapped that little bitch customer for free after that talk. What a whiny little pussy bitch!

Yesterday, the power went out 20 minutes into our day shift. The place was starting to fill up, but after that only a handful of guys lingered. I grabbed the lighter and lit some candles, put em on stage, and we blasted our cell phone speaker pandora stations for tunes, and did a few stage sets. A few girls even sold dances :D After a half hour or so of this, they closed down the club and everyone went home, still no power expected for hours. I made $19 :D
It was the strangest shift ever. Very beautiful and surreal though, dancing by candlelight and a few other lights that were on the generator, and the music low. I have been burned out lately, and honestly if I hang up the heels, this will be a very poetic and lovely last shift to remember.

Guy slapped me hard enough to leave a bloody welt. He was not kicked out. The manager chewed me out for getting angry about being assaulted.
This isn't worth it. I'm done.
Edited because I posted while angry:
I was on the second stage and a customer tipped me. As he was walking away, he slapped me as hard as he could on the side of my thigh. The crack was so loud it caused customers to turn around. I literally yelled to the nearby bouncer that he hit me. Dude did nothing. I told the manager and... Yeah, I was angry. A customer hit me hard enough to leave clearly defined finger marks and the bouncer did nothing.
They talked to him and came back to me with this sob story about how he just got out of jail and he's so sorry. WTF? Seriously. The guy fucking hit me. I don't care why he thought it was reasonable to hit a woman that hard.
He stayed until they finally kicked him out for trying to climb the pole. The bouncer was getting drinks from the bar for him. He was everybody's bestest friend. I made a snide comment to the manager who bitched me out for coming at him wrong. Seriously. A customer hit me and I'm the one that's wrong somehow?
It's obvious what these people think of dancers, given their behavior. We don't matter to them. They won't protect us. They don't care what happens to us as long as they get their money. We're nothing more than disposable bodies. We don't matter.
I matter.
I cleaned out my locker and blocked every work related number I have. I'll go back to nursing. I'll go back into politics. I'll go work at McDonald's. I will not go back to stripping.
I'm done.

First shift ever. Monday, rainy.
Walked in at 12:30 and no one showed up until 3.
A guy demanded I take off my bra, it took me a little back because I couldn't tell if he was being snarky or he actually was mad.
2 Younger men from a nearby state came into the club. They hardly looked 21 but whatever. Both got dances. One was shy and wouldn't lay a hand on me, the other tried to suck my nipples... Yeah noooo.
I forgot to tip the bartender because I was in a rush to get to my second job. I owe him big time when I see him. *yikes*
Made almost $100 which is good enough for me. lol.

How do you guys feel about working when you have your period? I did it my last two cycles and was pretty OK with it but this time around I’m super exhausted and decided to switch up my shifts to accommodate. I’m grateful that this work is flexible enough to do that! My last shift was pretty bad, I walked with $45, half of which was from a guy who just quietly gave me a $20 on my last stage set and the rest from a friend and his friend who randomly came in. And after barely tipping the DJ and security, which they were both super chill about since I always tip them well when I do well. I was just so tired and not feeling it at all. Going back in tomorrow night and hoping it’s much better.

Ultimate pet peeve with customers: Them worrying they've hurt my feelings by turning down a dance. No, dude. This is business, not personal. I literally do not care, please stop apologizing and making excuses so I can get on with finding someone who DOES want to drop some coin. Place was full of apologetic non-spenders last night, ugh.
Things I wish management would understand: Math and business decisions that affect the club longer than the immediate 5 minutes.
Say you have 4 girls, and 3 VIP potential customers. Girl A does extras. Now Girl A makes allllll the money, Girls B-D are pissed off and stop working in your club as much. You make ($25 x 3) room fees off those customers & Girl A's house ($45)... But if the clean girls didn't make enough to pay house (if it's super slow, they really don't charge you house unless you sold a VIP of some kind)... you're now NEGATIVE $15. You've also now pissed them off and they may take an extra day off, or quit entirely, losing you even more house fees.
Those dudes had money - they would have bought a VIP from another (clean) girl, it just would have taken a few minutes of talking to them. It's honestly not a matter of Girl A making money that other people couldn't make. It's her effectively cheating & hogging it all to herself. But the managers only see the sheer number of rooms she sells and don't understand anything further.
I should do a frickin PowerPoint presentation for them, sheesh.

^I don't get how mgmt and owners allow this shit knowing it might get them shut down. My best guess is they have enough money coming in from other sources they don't care at all if the club gets shut down for prostitution. Also the prevalence of serving under 21 dancers alcohol is fkn retarded too.

I’ve been having the weirdest dream about a bunch of fire fighters coming in and spending a bunch of money and getting really wild. Low and behold last night we had a super rowdy bunch of guys I assumed bachelor party. Two had on horse masks one pretty much stayed by my stage and tipped and got dances all night. Found out from the bouncer they were fire fighters. It could’ve been a coincidence but it was so eerily similar to my dream I’m kinda shook.

I dunno. This girl in particular was a HUGE problem at one point, to where the head waitress/VIP host, who is tight with the owner, straight up said "You need to do something about this bitch". She appeared to be fired for a while, then came back but seemed to be behaving herself, now she's back to her old standards. She pays all her fees and house up front, and at one point I saw her hand a $500 envelope to a manager. So I'm sure she's buying him off.
What I mostly hate is the managers & certain doormen lying about it to us. I feel like they're gaslighting me, ffs - "Uh no, we catch the girls who do stuff"... Ok, then why have 3 separate customers TOLD me Girl #1 lets them finger her? Why have I seen Girl #2 jacking a guy off? Come on. Or else they say we're all just 'hating' and making up rumors. Pffft.
The owner is around a fair amount, but I don't know. Maybe for my last huzzah before I retire (hopefully next year), I'll sit down and be like "Tell me the truth, wtf is the deal here?"

Seems like it's been a slow month for most of us.

Day shift Wednesday was good, in my opinion. These super young guys came in and made airplanes out their bills and threw them at me. When it didn't make it's mark, i encouraged them to try again more more tips. ;) although one of them kept asking for my real name, it got to the point the bouncer had to stop him at the door when i went home because he followed me asking for it.
I think I almost made $150 or something. I got to laugh and sing along with the custys during my sets though since they were all so friendly and fun.

Finally had a decent shift. It's been so long since I've broken $500 cause summertime, but last night did 29 dances somehow off mostly 1s and 2s. I felt like every girl was rejecting those dances and we were full of birthdays and bachelor parties so I kept going up to tables that were like "well I'd like to buy my friend a dance but I only have $40/$60" and I was like "I can make that work" cause girls weren't offering them anything smaller than the 15 min VIP.
Right before the end of the night a super drunk kid came up and asked for a dance, did 2 songs for him. Before the dance I always tell them they can empty their pockets so I don't crush their phone or whatever and he pulled out one of the plastic oval things that sits on our tables to hold up the cards with the specials etc and I was like wtf why tho

^^lmao at the kid stealing the plastic oval thing
I've been slowly getting back into the groove. I came back to work after a few months off. With each shift my earnings have improved and my last two shifts have been really awesome.
I do like that instead of being like "i have to make xxx amount of money tonight" I've decided to just try to do better than my last shift. It really helps to take some of the pressure off. :)
Also I am super thick now and for whatever reason it's working out in my favor. What a time to be alive lol

Since I'm in So-Cal, the Mexican soccer team's win brought in a crowd! Groups of guys to celebrate by drinking and throwing money. I hated them though because they were very rowdy, ultra grabby, and obnoxious as well.

I know what you mean as this has been my experience with this type of crowd as well.
Last night, about half the girls were talking about how their phone just got cut off or is about to be cut off, and they are two weeks late on rent. I kept my headphones in and tuned them out, and made my goal amount for the fourth night in a row.
I just don't even understand why girls say that kinda thing to each other or to customers like even if it's true.

I've been here seven hours and made $5. Literally one customer has walked through the door in all that time. Ugh, summer blows. October can't get here fast enough!

I think I got fired for going up to customers at the stage (not my stage). Or at least asked to leave. I just think it's fucking stupid if a guy sitting at the stage waves me over and I walk over don't say a single word yet then the management asks me to leave. I am also making the club money with my sales so really??
This industry makes zero sense. I just wanna quit so fed up/burnt out.

It was super slow friday. No one showed up during the day. This guy came to the stage and after every girl was done with their set, he’d give them a single dollar. I got pissed. Of course when I check out, more people come into the club. If it weren’t for a bachelors party who tipped us for practicing tricks (cuz I can’t do any lol) on the VIP floor when the club was dead, it would have been a complete waste of time and a pathetic Friday.
