Twas not good, probably due to Halloween. Made what I'd be happy with on a weeknight. Literally ran out of customers to talk to by midnight.

Further cementing my thoughts that Rick & Morty fans are mostly internet-dwelling incels, some guy came in dressed as Pickle Rick. By himself. Tipped me well on stage, when I stopped to chat with him right after he seemed fairly decent (albeit with that low-key arrogant asshole vibe) until he said "I like you. You have such a bubbly personality... like somebody abused you. Yeah?"

:banghead: I just raised an eyebrow and said "No" pretty bluntly which I don't think he expected but c'mon. Would you say that to the cheerful Starbucks barista? No. Then don't say it to me, dummy.

This weekend was actually really good for me. We didn't have a ton of customers but the were spending (on me, at least.) Friday started out with some military guys who I got to before another dancer camped there all night. Why do girls do this? They sit and sit and sit, do a few table dances and sit and sit. It's stupid but... Hey, I still made a bunch off them.

The rest of the time, it was VIP's from stage tippers and nice tippers at that. I walked away with "good night" money.

I got drunk last night. I don't drink, so it was fun. It was dead and we had a shot girl doing a promo for Cuervo. She had one shot left and she could pack up and go home. She's an old friend of mine so... I drank it and posted pics of my ass on Instagram.

The local university had a home game and this group of away team fans came in after getting soundly beaten. Turns out that I used to live in the same city they're from, so they weren't mad that I go to the local university, lol. They had bottle service and lots of vodka. I drank some. I did a lot of dances. Almost fell down the stairs after a VIP. Spun too fast on the pole.

It was So. Much. Fun!!! I used to be a very sad drunk but not last night. Different place in life maybe? Don't know, don't care.

I guess it was contagious, because I had a waiting list at the end of the night and I quit drinking early so I was sober when I left the club and made a bunch of money.

I did lose an earring, though.

Rather deal with incels than the wannabe dopeboys who don't spend a dime on us.

I think I inadvertently discovered a little trick. The club had bowls of candy everywhere and I gave in to the temptation and grabbed a lollipop. Seconds after, I was called to stage and I didn't want to throw my lollipop away so I incorporated it into my stage set and seductively licked/sucked on it. The men went CRAZY for it. They were throwing money and as soon as I got off stage a guy took me for $150 worth of lap dances. It's a cute gimmick. A lot of clubs probably wouldn't allow this for liability issues but this club couldn't care less.

Anyway, it was a decent night. I'm glad I went in but I did expect better for Halloween.

I like this cute gimmick! In a day and age where I'd commonly see women wearing butt plugs to work...i think it's nice to see more innocent gimmicks on stage.

Was pissed and left early.

I danced 3 songs for a customer. That totals $75. He the gives me a whopping $5. I took my shoes off so he couldn't run out the door before I caught up to him. He grabbed his friends and says, "let's go." They proceed to leave. I stop him where the bouncer is (near the door) and explain that the man owes me for 3 songs. The guy says, "no, we only did one song" and gave me a 20 equating to 25 out of the 75 he owes me.

At this point my manager came over and I said, "this man is lying, feel free to go run the tapes back and you'll see we did 3 songs." So the manager goes to the office and confirms that I in fact did 3 songs, meanwhile the bouncer has now let the man who owes me money leave. Yup. Just watched the man go.

The bouncer's justification after hearing the manager confirm we did 3 songs is that he's "not allowed to put his hands on a customer." Then what the fuck is the point of him even being there? The fuck? And that's not even true. Before they hired this apparent useless crew of bouncers, our old bouncers actually did their jobs and would get the money out of the customer if need be. They weren't scared to touch them. Wtf.

I did not tell them I was leaving, I just went upstairs to the dressing room, tipped the house mom, and promptly stormed out. Didn't pay the house fee, and I won't. They let a guy leave without paying me so apparently I can leave without paying them. That is what I did.

I'm still pissed.

I have done this before. A customer of mine offered me a sucker and it was an odd but kind gesture and the rest of the guys loved it.

I quit (I guess?) at the end of the night because the female manager who clearly has a hard-on for me decided to scream in my face and accuse me of not working. Even one of the other managers had to step in and tell her I've been working several days a week. Then she tried to accuse me of purposely working on days when I know she wouldn't be there (wtf?). I have no idea why that would even cross her mind, I would have no reason to do that, and I don't know her schedule.

Then after she saw she wasn't going to get a rise out of me by screaming in my face, I was told my house fee for the night would be $200. I endured her screaming in my face for no reason, but I wasn't going to hand over a Chicago-level house fee for a struggling Detroit club, when she obviously just made up the $200 figure as I'm hearing all the other girls being told they owe $60 and $80. I contemplated it but had too much pride to bend over and take it up the tailpipe so I simply took out a $100 bill, put it on the desk, and said, "this is all I'm willing to pay you." Manager says, "then don't come back," to which I replied, "I won't," as I walked out of the office shaking my head and literally chuckling at how ridiculous the management has become. Even the house moms complain about the management and always talk about how the club has suffered since they took over because they have no idea what they're doing.

There's a newer club around the corner that this old club had lost a bunch of girls to because of the old club's shitty management. I was trying to be loyal and stay there even though it is a sinking ship but I'm done being treated like shit for no reason.

Oh, I also found out why the bouncer was so adamant about them not being able to put their hands on customers (my post from a couple posts up in this thread). Another bouncer cracked a customer's skull there a couple weeks ago and the guy is still unconscious. They are most likely being sued. Glad I got out now before I went down with that entire ship.

^^Their loss.

Tonight was my second shift at a new club after a year and a half break. Last weekend I went to audition and most of the dancers had called out that night due to bad weather, so the owners asked me to stay and work. It’s a small club in the middle of nowhere owned by a married couple who used to be cops...big change from the upscale big city mafia-owned clubs I’m used to lol. Made okay money both nights I’ve worked despite the club only having $10 dances. One of the keys seems to be finding that one guy and getting him to spend on you. People tip well on stage here too which is a nice change from PA where you dance behind a bar and then go around collecting $1 or $2 from everyone after. I’m kind of a big fish in a small pond here so that helps. One dancer had a problem with me last night and gave me attitude every time I went in the dressing room, then started complaining to the owner about small petty things I was technically doing wrong. He understood exactly what was going on so I didn’t get in any trouble despite her best efforts. My plan is to ignore her as mich as I can until she moves on to bothering someone else.

I’m in a state where weed is legal and EVERYONE at this club is a stoner, it’s pretty funny. There is a smoking patio out back and the dj is a licensed grower. One dancer had a bag of weed in her dance bag that was soo stinky, lol! I’m a stoner too so I feel right at home.

Last week I didn’t plan ahead with meal prep because I wasn’t expecting to stay and work, so I was starving by the time my shift ended. I’m in a rural area so there aren’t any good late night options and I ended up eating McDs at 2 AM and going to sleep with a stomachache. This week I made extra food to bring to work with me and ate before I drove home. Will continue to do this. I used to work right near my hometown’s Chinatown and was spoiled with all the options for banging late night food. It’s different where I am now!

Yikes, good call. That happened at my old club, except the guy died. The club lost their liquor license & had to shut down. Most of the girls had a hell of a time finding new clubs who would take them & I think several quit the industry. It's good you got out now so that won't happen to you.

Last night ended up good - I had $30 at midnight & then made alllll my money the last 2 hours (as is usual in stripper land, haha). Thank you generous doctor who paid $50/song and guy who bought the last 6 songs & tipped another 4 on top, I hope good karma comes back to you both.

Random day shift girl who's all bubbly & now works nights - please don't try to pep talk me. It's ok to accept that it's shitty in the club at the moment. "You're not going to make any money that way!" No, but you're not going to either, because those guys you're trying to drag me over to are time-wasters. Yep, sure enough, it took you half an hour to get $20 outta them ::)

Also, so. much. drama. lately. There was this girl who was coasting on new girl money & "wanna dance" for months, but was also deadly serious and treated it as a job. After the usual 6 month mark, the money slowed down from what I saw. Then she made bffs with this other girl & started drinking. Now they walk around like they're hot shit & are causing problems with other girls because they keep moving people's stuff and poaching customers. I'm curious to see how this one turns out - I really liked her before...

Yesterday was my 1st day back after a two-month break. I had SmartLipo on my jaw/chin in late August (which I've posted about ad nauseam) and took some time off after that. Anyway, I'd built up a little anxiety about returning.

But I had such a good shift. It was nice to see the other dancers and staffers--they said they'd missed me and I had definitely missed them. I did have to redo my contract--apparently Hustler terminates them automatically if you don't go in every 30 days. I danced for this former male stripper from Florida who gave me Magic Mike vibes. He had a sick body and a Harley Quinn tattoo on his ribcage.

I did not realize how much I had missed stripping! It felt great to be back.

Yep! I'm starting there either tonight or tomorrow. A friend of mine (she has an account here but I don't think she's active) even talked to the manager there for me. I'm so excited to be reunited with her! I've worked there before, over a year ago, and the money was great until the extras girls infiltrated the place, but they got rid of extras and now everyone from there I've talked to has said the money is really good now that it's cleaned up. Plus management is very professional there. I've worked with some of the management at different clubs years ago. They know what they're doing.

Sorry to get OT... I'm just excited. I'll report back on topic after I work my first shift there.

What a strange night...I'm in the South so you'd expect some conservative ass customers, but tonight this old man and I really dished out some political foolery. He was partially deaf, so it added this extra-ness to the situation. He told a story of overcoming his disability and becoming successful and that other people shouldn't have an excuse for being poor yadda yadda YADDA. So here I am "but criminalization, but generational poverty, but divestment from low-income schools & communities, but illiteracy, but neoliberalism, but corporate greed etc..). trying to talk about white / class privilege to a guy who literally worked on Strom Thurmond's campaign in the 60s. I don't want to repeat some of the awful bullshit he said to me, but needless to say he was NOT interested in a dance, or paying me for my time after that. I told him later that I thought he was scared of me, and that intimidated the hell out of him. I almost felt bad but then realized I was being ableist thinking this guy for one second didn't deserve to be treated like any other twisted garbage brain. He went to the bathroom and then came back to me, *all snarky* and asked me if I pay my taxes. I told him I did and he looked so idiotic and let down because he WANTED To come at me about how he pays taxes and I'm living off him or something. He went to sit down and I got in his face and was like, "if youre looking to accuse someone of being a freeloader, take a look at yourself because you're in a strip club not tipping or paying anyone for their time" and he stormed out. LMAO bitch.

But man, this convo rly got to me. I felt hopeless, like this guys heart & mind will never recover from 100 years of white supremacist indoctrination and he gets to vote and employ people and raise grandbabies..gahhh. Like some people really do just need to die out.

I didn't wanna tack this on to my already exhausting story but after ding dong left, 10 virginal boys from a local military college came into the club with suits on, not holding their alcohol at all. Literally had to scold one boy like a child, turned on all my stern teacher-y gestures & tones because he was trying to *HAR HAR HAR* tip me with bar receipts and stealing the bar tenders water bottle like a child...Im sorry but AM I A JOKE? Are my tits n ass all a fuckin joke to you? Given the political climate, it was like some sarcastic n insecure rapey Brett Kavanaughs all around me. Very intense. Managed to get $500 out of 'em though. Educated one particular baby bro about consent, I think he was blacked out though & I MANAGED to not steal all the money out of his wallet because I'm a person with some fuckin deceny I GUESS

&&&& on top of it all, as I was driving home I saw one of my regulars, who's mixed, get pulled over by two cop cars for no reason. I stopped and checked in on him and he shoo'd me away which I understand. Didnt know what to do because the cops around here are notorious for fucking with Black people with no accountability & just the fact that he was coming from a strip club in this conservative ass place put him more at risk.

How did one night burn me out so much?

Yall please pray for me, I have no chill.

Started at my new club. So far so good, although it was slow and I had to start on a day shift lol. The management runs smoothly, and day girls who are on time get free house fee and a free lunch, and the food at that club is very good. I'm also working at their sister club (same owners), so I'm very excited! Both are well run places, one has a great day shift and one has a great night shift so it sounds like things will work perfectly for me. I'm so happy I left Club Shithole.

I’m back from traveling and soooo ready to be home and hustling again. Last night was weird but by no means bad. I was in a great mood. I got dressed and went to the bar for a shot like I usually do, and started talking to a guy. Within 5 minutes he asked me for a dance, which I was able to turn into a half hour VIP wih a nice tip. It was pretty dead the rest of the night but I had a great time. One guy bought me a drink and gave me $40 to just talk to him for 15 minutes, and we had a really interesting conversation about stuff I never get to talk about at work. Then another guy tipped me 20’s on 3 of my stage sets and I also loved talking to him. I made very little in stage tips otherwise and did no other dances but I made my low goal for the night and it was fun and easy! I’m seeing one of my regulars tonight and I hope it goes well.

Hi lovelies! So I'm new to this forum, and just recently started dancing about two months ago. I'm curious, my club accepts all cards for payment and we get our "card" money in cash 7 days later. I'm curious should I count the card money as my nightly total the night I get it, or the night I collect it? Thank you ladies! ❤

If you're just doing it for your personal records, yes, I would count the card money as part of my daily earnings.

Can't stand clubs that do that though... I want my money the night I make it.

So anyhow, been working at the new clubs (day shift at one, then I start night shift this weekend at the other club with the same owners). I'm very happy. The club I'm working at for day shift actually has a good day shift... the management is respectful towards me as is the rest of the staff. The girls are cool and I make good money. I feel welcomed and safe. I'm so happy I left the other club. It really needed to happen. Last shift, my last guy of the day flat out told me before we went upstairs to the VIP that he will be paying double for each song lol... and he stuck to his word, which was the cherry on top of a lucrative day shift. I also had a regular come in that I hadn't seen in 4 years! Things are looking good.

Now I just sip this wine... I finally have a day off, but have to get back to the grind tomorrow.

Same! I can't stand it, especially when I do a 5 hour VIP and should be leaving with 2k, but instead have to wait a week. And then the VIP took all my time, so I leave with barely any cash. Blah. But yeah I'm thinking it should be counted for that day. Thank you for your input!

I actually think all of that is illegal for the club to be doing. As an independent contractor there is no legal way they withhold funds you have earned especially when required by law you've already "taken a loss" (house fee) to even work. That is ridiculous.

Weird fucking night last night.

Cons:

- got propositioned by 2 girls for their pimp, lol. I am so naive I had no idea what was going on until she asked if I had a daddy lol !
- got one of my satin robes stolen(or went missing) in the dance area. ugh.
- weird dancers, weird customers, most customers were not spending.

Pros:

- made $1300 my last hour off a super nice guy from Cali that remembered me the last time he was there... he really helped my energy for the night.

So, decent night, but weird still.

No. Only if their bank it totally out of money and that’s only if a bunch of girls had great nights, ask if you can see where it says in your contract that it’s legal for them to do that because if they put it in your contract for liability sake I can see that but still why the fuck would you work somewhere that did that??? I’ve never really experienced that before and definitely wouldn’t be able to work somewhere that did that or I would just bring my own square and swipe the customer myself.

Ooh I wonder if I could just bring my own square! But idk if I could do that either cause they take money from every dance. And VIP too. And we have to tip out 10% of our total earnings at the end, even though they already take a huge cut of our earnings. And still DJ, and bouncer. Ugh.

That probably wouldn't fly if they're taking a cut. Clubs that take cuts get suspicious over legit large tips, I can't imagine them being okay with you having your own card reader.

I mean it would technically work, you swipe the card and then just pay the host cash out of yours, but it means you have to bring an awful lot of money to work with you to float that, which causes its' own problems.

I'd see if other clubs in your area do this same bs, and if not check some of them out. If the other clubs are garbage though and you do have great nights here, just have to wait for them (and the club always does eventually pay out) I'd probably just suck it up and make sure I don't leave myself in a position where i'm counting on any one night for immediate bills etc.

Yeah I've been doing fairly well, but still. I like my club a lot and enjoy my managers and coworkers. So I can't imagine leaving. Who knows, maybe it will change in the future how they manage card money. :)

Yeah I mean all clubs have weird bs one way or another so you just gotta pick your poison really.

I got back to town a week ago today and worked 6 out of the last 7 nights....not sure if I ever want to do that again but it was super worth it in trying to hit my financial goal for the next 8 weeks. I’m proud of myself for pushing through and still managing to take care of myself. I did 3 nights at my old club and 3 at my new one. There seems to be higher money potential overall at the old one, but the highs and lows are more extreme and fees are much higher. At my new club the environment is way more chill and while overall money potential isn’t as high I have been making super consistent money there and I love the other girls, staff, and the clientele.

I was supposed to work tonight at my new club but decided to give my shift to someone else...and now there’s a part of me that wants to go to my old club! Does anyone else ever feel like they get kind of addicted to working? I genuinely love being a stripper, and now that I’m in hustle mode it’s kind of hard for me to turn it off lol.

The Saints played a home game yesterday, and dancers told me home games are good at our Bourbon Street club. When I went in at noon, there was already fresh puke on the street, which seemed like a sign that people were fucked up and easy to take money from. I made most of my money early in the afternoon from people who approached me. I danced for this couple and the woman looked miserable. It was her first time in a strip club. I asked what her limits were for the dance and if I could touch her and she said "no." Then she left the dance early. Her boyfriend said he was "trying to make her bisexual."

The club emptied out for a few hours after kick-off at 3:25pm, so I watched the Saints destroy the Eagles. Then when it was clear it was a blowout, people started trickling back in--not really buying dances, but tipping the stage generously. I did a little better than average and it was a fun shift. Then I went home and got Indian food delivered.

Omg Sunday was just weird everywhere, huh? Not bad but weird. I made no stage money last night (like $20 in 6 hours) but I did manage to sell some dances to the point that it was worth it that I came in. The best part of my night was at the beginning though—this couple sat at my rack. The girl was clearly inebriated. She pulled out a stack of like 30 1’s and proceeded to give me none of them but did ask for a private dance. Ok, fine. I get off stage and we go to sit down at a table while her partner goes to the ATM. She proceeds to fall down trying to sit (the chairs are on wheels) and almost takes the table out with her. I waste 10 minutes trying to get $40 from them to go do a dance, she is just super fucked up and keeps rifling through her purse not finding anything and her partner could not seem to figure out the ATM. I give up, walk away, and go to the dressing room. I walk back out through the bar and out to the patio. It’s pretty empty in the bar but I hear her shouting “HEY BITCH” as I walk through, which I ignore. This prompts my bartender to follow her outside to me, where she is trying to yell at me while waving $40 at my face. She gets kicked out. I start watching over the fence. She tries to kick my manager who is like 6’5” and built. She then tries to run up on him, which he dodges easily, runs into the fence, and falls down on the ground where she refuses help from her partner to get back up. Not sure what happened to them after that but it was pretty entertaining and kind of sad.

I worked Saturday and it was overall an excellent night for me. There was one guy early on who asked to do an hour in VIP within a few minutes of chatting, but he absolutely lost his shit about giving his finger print on the receipt. He yelled that he wouldn't give his finger print at least a dozen times, while me and the two staff members nearby said ok, suggested cash, etc. "I am NOT consenting to give you access to my BIO-IDENTITY!!!" OK SIR. He ran out without paying me for the two dances we did earlier, which is a drag, but I met a much chiller customer minutes afterward who got an hour and tipped me a few hundred upfront. He renewed and we stayed there for about 2.5 hours. I wouldn't have met him if I convinced Mr bio-identity to pay for the hour in cash, so that was a blessing in disguise.

So weird that a guy who is like OMG MY FINGERPRINT isn't the type who would just pay cash...

It seemed like he was the type of guy who would record himself screaming at cops pulling him over, just to turn a routine traffic stop into a dramatic situation. "I KNOW MY RIGHTS!!!!" Ok buddy, we're all proud.

Woooow it's been bad lately. Must be the holidays... right? *crosses fingers*

Sat before Thanksgiving week, my new regular spent 2.5 hours in CR + a huge tip, so thank goodness for that... because that was the last of the money this month apparently. Heard through the grapevine that Thanksgiving eve + Black Friday were awful, like zero men.
Saturday was so dead it looked like a Monday in July, I only did 2 dances until selling a 15 min VIP at 1:44 am. Gah. Sunday, 10 men all night. Last night, we almost closed at 12:30. and the top earner had $100...

Random note: Anyone notice that an abundance of new signs posted by management usually happens when the money is bad? We've had a couple lately and they're over frivolous nonsense like cutting locks on "unregistered" lockers *eye roll* The locker free-for-all has been status quo for 2 years... IME, when business is struggling, they start trying to 'fix' crap like that, like it'll make a difference..

The girls at this club in the middle of nowhere are driving me nuts. The club has a weird dress code where after 10 it's nude, but handled in a weird way - you’re supposed to wear a little skirt with no thong underneath. Super weird lol. I’ve seen lots of girls not following this rule and continuing to wear their regular outfits after 10. I have a few outfits that are compliant but all my best outfits are booty shorts or one pieces that show off my ass and thighs. Whenever I try to change outfits after following the nude rule for a couple hours, a girl will complain and get very condescending with me in the dressing room, then go tell the owner on me. Every single time this has happened there have been other dancers out of dress code right there in the dressing room! It’s quite transparently obvious that I am getting singled out for being new and for being hotter than everyone else there. Really not trying to be conceited here it’s just one of those run down clubs where most of the girls look busted and will talk openly about not getting hired at other clubs in better locations, and I try real hard to take care of myself physically.

So far the owners have been trying to keep the peace, they keep telling me at the beginning of the night to let them know if I have problems with any other dancers. I think they want to keep me, the husband half of the team keeps commenting on my work ethic because I hustle all night and don’t leave early. I do actually like working here despite the drama because the owners are super cool and it’s easy money since a lot of the house girls are lazy/there to get fucked up. I only have one more shift to go there before my clinical rotation ends and I go back to school a couple hours away. But it’s good to know I’ll have options if I feel like trekking over here next summer when it’s busy season and I have a little more free time. I’ll be trying out another club near my school that I hear good things about; hopefully the dancers there are less concerned with hazing the new girl!

One thing that is cool is that the first girl I posted about giving me shit here actually apologized the next week. Another dancer flipped out threatening to fight me that weekend and I think the first girl felt bad because she did the same thing the week before lol. She’s friendly to me now but I’m still tryna stay out of the dressing room and keep to myself here.

There's a couple dancers here who are a little older and more serious about the hustle. We don’t talk much but at the end of the night we’ll discuss how our nights were in a professional way. Aka how it should be!

I hadn’t been to my club in a month and my last shift was friday. It was really dead for happy hour which isn’t the norm but I didn’t think much of it bc it’s been cold and rainy and snowy however I found out from a regular that the club got raided recently and is losing its liquor license/may shut down. It stayed pretty dead for the time I was there and I dipped early (like 10). I don’t plan on dancing much longer but long enough that I need to find a new club to work at. Gotta get off the sinking ship :(

Bad timing ever. I could have £1,5K and I miss out because I was no focus. Damn!

A lot of girls said this past weekend was terrible, but I had a better than average shift. It mostly came from this depressed older white guy who cried a ton and told me I look like a child (I don't.). It's borderline cliche to say that sex workers are ersatz therapists, but I did a textbook crisis intervention model on him--the same model I learned and used when I volunteered at a suicide hotline.

Also, our club is decorated for the holidays and it legit looks like a winter wonderland in there. I love it! Our holiday party is this Saturday. I'm going to get some antlers to wear.

I finally bit the bullet and had my first shift last night. It's been close to 5 years.

I went in with an $800 goal, super high both for myself personally and to have on a Sunday night. Came home with $325, more than I thought I had (I organise throughout the night but only truly count it the next day) and I think it was pretty good for how slow it was. Club was damn near empty by 1230 and the few customers left all either had girls or at that point were just there to bs.

I had one guy that was piss drunk, and not intentionally obnoxious but he was needy. He had something going on with him but wouldn't tell me what it was, and mainly just wanted some attention. After a couple rounds of stage tipping, I finally got him to do a string of dances ... but 30sec into the first song, my heel came out from under me and I hit the floor. Beer bottle, water bottle and ashtray all went flying. He felt so bad for me that for the rest of the time he had paid for, all he wanted was for me to sit and talk with him.

Fortunately all my epic spills were on the floor and not on stage, and whenever I stumbled on stage I was already gripping the pole. Two lovely spinning poles, no real rail, just a lower ledge round the whole stage to set drinks and whatever else. No really safe space to leave your drink/purse. There are tiny corner spaces on the floor between the stage steps and the seating where I might start squirrelling away my things during stage sets. The knee pads I got are a no-go (linked in a recent 'knee pain' thread in Body Business) unless I get thigh highs to cover them 'because the fabric will pop on stage'.
