how does the algorithm work
Thanks for any answers

I'm sure they have a complicated algorithm that basically comes down to who makes them the most money. It's not just the number of stars. If your a flirt and your average call is short and the guys never call NF again its bad for you. If you get to the end of a call and the guy adds money or you get lots of tips they like that. For chat it'll be related, how many messages go back and forth, do the guys call and follow up the next day.

What ever their calculations are there is no doubt that the primary thing they adjust for is what is best for the business. They want to stir the girls around so it looks like there always options but if you are making everyone money then your listing will get some extra bumps. If you are making them less you are going to get knocked down. If I had the business its what I would do.

On Friday evening around 5pm I got two emails from Niteflirt saying that my arreolas were showing in pics in my listing and they've been flagged/not approved. These are my two main listings with 600+stars on each. Unfortunately, NF corporate is closed on the weekends so I have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for my revisions to be approved. The thing is, they weren't showing. i zoomed in a few times to see and even had both my roommates look and neither one of them can see my arreolas. Idk if it was the angry fake/cheap finsub reporting me or some of the catty women in the forums who like to report on friday evenings to have you out of commission for the weekend (its happened to other flirts in my discord group) or just a random check but it sucks.

Good thing I have two more listings. I feel like I am starting from scratch. I do have regulars though and so far have made $600 since Friday night and did a drain game this morning so I'll be okay no matter what. Very annoying though. I'm glad that I actually created my own wordpress site. I found a few ways to take calls and get paid outside of NF just in case. Whether NF disappears or I get banned for whatever reason, my regulars can call me and I can advertise it in other places.

How is everyone doing!

I wonder about what NiteFlirt was like in the past.

I have been doing this since 2018 and when I started I was on sites doing phone domme and releasing audio clips as Amberly recommends in her book about making 10k per month doing this. I did what she said, but never got to the 10k. I never even came close.

Then I moved onto OnlyFans and AVN Stars, continuing to make audio clips for AVN First then moving them onto OnlyFans before the clip sites last. Since doing this, I have been making bank.

I wonder, was NiteFlirt easier to use and make money on back in the day? Obviously it's not just me as loads of people complain about money here and I see girls breathing easy once they move their fans onto fan sites rather than have them call them on Niteflirt.

Just curious about others thoughts and experience.

I guess it was way easier to make money when all the other platforms didn't exists. less girls doing the business. And these days so many flirts advertise with 1% flirt ..... 1 flirt even had at the end of the year 240k this year and I thought "Thats nonsense". All that gold and silver showing off.... i think it's a bit annoying.
I'm on so many platforms and selling my stuff sometimes even on different platforms under different names because of the different payouts.
I just don't want to sell a great 30 minutes audio on ttm for $5 that i can sell somewhere else for 24.

Even with all the calls I get , all the files I sell ..... Never in my life I got over 10k. 15 or 20 years back I made huge bank just with phone. but now the industry is just overcrowded.

Is anyone getting an error when they answer the phone? I've had two calls now where I press 1 to accept the call and it won't recognize that I have pressed 1. I press it over and over and eventually the operator ends the call. Luckily the customer calls back immediately and when I press 1 it accepts the call. Is this happening to anyone else?

My domme character had bad feedback that I just noticed from 2 months ago! The guy clicked every ptv button my profile so he had 10+ sent to him, paid $2 for one PTV and left me a 1 star review that said "disappointing" and now I have a rating of -2 on that listing!! How can I fix this? He only spent $2!! If I sell goodies attached to that listing, will it help? Or if I try to sell a call for .49 cents a minute? I am so pissed.

Will NF take it off since he only spent $2 or has it been too long? How is it possible to have number below zero?

Goodies are not attached to a specific listing, so goody sales do nothing to improve a listing's rating.

In order to get that listing out of the negatives, you'll need to get some points. You get points two ways: with good reviews or with calls that last more than 15 minutes. If you drop your rate, you might be able to attract some long calls but it could be hard on a poorly rated listing.

You can also get reviews for PTVs. If you create a PTV attached to that listing and send it out, someone might leave a review and raise your rating.

However, if one review can put your listing at -2, that means that listing had a low rating to begin with. If it's a brand new listing and this is the only review on it, just delete it.

NiteFlirt will not remove a review just because the customer only spent $2. It has nothing to do with the time that has elapsed since the purchase.

I know getting a bad review sucks, but the customer made a purchase and was disappointed. He's perfectly allowed to have that opinion and to use the review system to express it.

It sucks because all of my reviews are 5 stars on other listings. That listing had no reviews/ratings or calls and I am annoyed one guy spending $2 for the first part of a PTV game can do that.
If I delete it, the -2 will disappear but the review will still be attached if I remember right? I meant create PTVs to bring the listing up, not goodies, my mistake. Will the PTVs associated with that listing disappear or need to be reassigned to a new listing?

I am all for people expressing their opinion but to spend $2 on a game that has multiple parts and then not play the game but have an opinion? And have every PTV I have sent to him? Seems like he was fishing for freebies and paid for the LOWEST priced PTV to try to get one. And he blocked me.

Oh, well. I will work harder and kick some ass.

I don't suppose I have a choice and will have to task my subs to call that line instead of the others. Thanks for the reply.

If it's a brand new listing and this is the only review on it, just delete it.

I second this, if you are getting so little traction with this listing its not worth keeping. If 2 months doesn't yield you more stars than this its fundamentally broken and try something new. I started on TTM and made maybe 20 listings until I figured out what worked for me.

The 'domme' field is lucrative and crowded and there are women who are fucking beasts and been doing that one for years and are exceedingly good at it. If you are starting out that's probably the steepest hill to climb.

Thanks for the insight. I am not starting out as a domme but starting with this new character and I had her offline for 2 months, which was stupid. All of my 10 characters have great reviews which is why I was miffed over $2 spent and a shoddy review. She was my newest and I put her on the back burner but she deserves better :) Listing deleted and water under the bridge. Thanks again.

I've been getting bullied by callers who want to strong arm me into doing raceplay. I'm a black woman. I have two different profiles: a femdomme/findom and then a regular BBW, both using my photos (different of course). The regular BBW persona is the one having issues. I don't advertise raceplay yet I get calls about it. This morning a caller opened with calling me N eye gee gee ee are slut. I told him that I don't do raceplay and yet he continued on before hanging up angrily when I repeated myself. He immediately left me a star rating. He's not the first. I had 3 back to back negative feedbacks on my ebony listing without words. Just 1 stars. All 3 of these men called me being very aggressive about it even though I added "no raceplay" to my listing after the first one. The second guy even chatted me with me and said I "would be sorry". It's a brand new listing so those 3 negative reviews made me ineligible to bid on it again since the only 3 calls I got all got bad feedback. I know I could delete it but I'm tempted to just stay in BBW, roleplay and girls next door and not advertise at all in ebony =/

I'm sorry those pieces of trash are targeting you like that. Can you forward the chat to PlayFair? If asking them to remove the feedback doesn't work, I would be up for tweeting at them to ask wtf is going on (without naming your account publicly).

You're Niteflirt's customer too after all. What about potential lost income because of BS bad feedback? Your listing shouldn't be penalized because of those assholes.

Starting niteflirt this week. I have read this entire thread with interest and appreciation for all of the info and input and sharing.
I still have a question. Bidding is a business deduction for advertising expenses, but I can find no info about how to print out my bidding history to itemize and prove the cost for my 1040.

Is there a report I can use for tax purposes? I could have missed it, of course.

If not, how does everyone account for bidding on their taxes?
Thanks in advance, and take care everyone.
Danie

Edit-- I found the Featured Listings menu and can be accounted for the Month to date.
Is that the best there is to account for featured listing costs?
So do I just make a copy of this page at the end of each month?

I hope I am not being a bother. Just want my ducks in a row and not waste a dime because I am new. Thanks!

No bother at all - doing taxes as an independent contractor sucks! I think you're making this too hard on yourself, just ignore the bidding fees & all that and only use the money you are actually paid out. The payment summary is what you're looking for, it tells you exactly what you were paid.

If not, how does everyone account for bidding on their taxes?

Unless you have added money to your account to pay for bidding from an outside source, you don't take a separate deduction for bidding. It is already deducted from the amount you have been paid by NF.

Bidding is advertising and can surely be deducted easily from my federal income taxes with proper documentation. I am going to deduct every legit business expense. Seems silly not to do it. We are our business.

Of course, I may be overestimating the amount of bidding I will need to do. I know to bid the least needed.

The reason people are telling you not to deduct your bid money is because you are spending out of your NF account before being paid out. So, if you make $1000 on NF in a month and spend $10 on bidding, our check will be for $990. You never actually see the $10.

So, instead of claiming $1000 of income and $10 on bidding, just claim $990 of income, since that is what you actually receive.

Could someone show me a screenshot or something of a properly setup tips button for a profile?
From the examples on the help page, it is hard to know if what I am doing on the create buttons page will work to send $$ to my account.
How can I know if it is going to function?
Thanks

If it's posted on your profile, it will function however you set it up. If you log in & select "create buttons" there will be different types of buttons you can make & depending on what you select, the button will work once posted to your profile.

Do you have a second character you play on NF? If so, you could make a test button out for $1.00 and put it on your page. Then click on it from your other account and follow-through with the purchase. If you don't have a second account, do you have a friend who's a flirt who could test it?

How did you guys use a fake name for your P.O. Box? Usps wont accept fake names and make you show your ID to make the P.O. Box. I even tried ups because they have a real street address service but even they ask for your ID and make you use a real name.

Same I've recieved SO MUCH through my wishlist especially this year with my subs basically kitting out my entire home studio! I have a friend's business address listed which is two towns away from me, and a fake name. I've had multiple occasions where Amazon has shared the name and address with guys so NO it's absolutely not anonymous, not one bit. Slightly safer if you don't accept 3rd party items but where's the fun in that? I used delivery code for a bit which is 100% anonymous but went right back to Amazon as the majority of guys use and are happy with it.

I went to the UPS store, and purchased a mailbox (I think I rented under corporate instead of personal). I did the contract for the mail box under my legal name (technically my middle name and last name), and then on the contract paperwork, it allows you an area to include the names of your 'employees' that are all the names that parcels will arrive for... I put in all my character names, which are tied to my Amazon Wishlist.

So even though the mailbox is in my legal name, not one package arrives to that legal name. The mailbox people don't care. Some of the packages arrive to some really oddball nicknames (haha). The mailbox people don't even bother looking at who the package is addressed to, as long as it comes to your correct box number. Plus I always chat them up so they know my face when I do pickups.

Works like a charm. I received a TON in 2020. I gotta get back on the horse and start pushing that wishlist again.

I use shipito. It’s a virtual P.O. Box and they’ll let you accept packages in a business name and then ship it to your home using your real name if you so choose.

It's funny, I'm usually in the top 2-3% on NF for one of my profiles and I think I've had 10k months twice in 5 years. Do i think 10k per month is possible? definitely with multiple profiles & cam but unless you're a findom i think it would be hard to do without both of those things. Possible? yes. Just difficult.

it does depend on your market/brand/the nature of the site itself whether guys care what percentage/ranking you're at.. Honestly I don't think on NF it makes a difference. Never once have I been asked what percentage I am on NF. OF i've never made it big enough to think about marketing myself as a top x% girl. plus, now that it (OF) has chargebacks, I don't push it as hard as I used to.

How lucrative would you say NiteFlirt generally is? I want to aim for $2500 a month on calls and goodies but I don't know if that's possible if I treat it more like a side hustle rather than spending a lot of time with it.

I spend most of my hours camming on Streamate and making videos for clip stores, but I want to add supplemental income.

I'm sure top earners make good money on NiteFlirt for sure, but as more of a side hustle, I was wondering how much money there is to be made in a month on NF for the average phone sex operator.

Too be honest I'm super nervous about phone sex. On cam it's so easy for me because I can stimulate guys visually and read what they type clearly, but I feel like any silence during phone sex would be awkward and I wouldn't know what to say, or maybe be unable to understand what guys are saying if they have a heavy accent or bad connection.

Spemily
04-06-2021, 07:31 PM
It's entirely possible to make that amount of money on NF in a month. If you have lots of clips you can upload to sell as goodies, that will definitely be advantageous. Audio clips also work well there. Additionally, you can make money through chatting, where the comprehension and awkward silence issue is mitigated.

Hey, how are you?
How much time does it take to approve a new profile/new account?

Usually, approval of anything takes about 2 business days. You'll need to get your account approved, then set up your profile and a listing (or several listings) and wait for approval on those as well. So you can be up and running on NF in about 3-5 days, depending how quickly you get everything done.

This info is specific to Amazon Wishlists, specifically those on the Amazon Canada site.... this post is filled with lots of little details I wish I had known before getting stung. Not sure if this applies to the US Amazon site, maybe their side operates a bit more smoothly. Plus a bit of a rant...It may be long but worth the read for Canadian Amazon Wishlist holders...

I have now TWICE had 2 different custies buy me a $500 Amazon gift card, ONLY TO HAVE AMAZON FLAG THE TRANSACTION AS FRAUDULENT and refund the customer the $500 within 30 minutes. AAAARRRGHHHH. The gift cards I hold in my basket are 'deliver to house' giftcards because the Amazon Canada site only has two options, mail to house, or send via email... and I'm not about to tempt fate by passing out an email for the purpose of receiving a gift card. So both times, the custie informs me of the purchase, and I hurriedly go to my Amazon page, sort by 'purchased' and I see that a gift card has been purchased. Great. I check an hour later, and the 'purchased' gift card has fallen off my list and back into my wishlist. WTF. Both times I inform the guy (or he informs me it came back returned). On top of that, I'm pretty sure Amazon locks the customers account and creates a hassle for them where they have to call in and authenticate (all I know is that both times it created an issue for the custie and their Amazon account). This has ALSO happened with a large value electronics item that was over $1,000. So I've lost out on $2,000 bucks of goods.

So to prevent this from happening again, I have now altered my entire wishlist to have the top value item at about $300 bucks. Lo and behold, last night, I had a custie tell me he purchased me something (didn't say what though) off of my wishlist. I go and sort my wishlist by 'purchased' like I do every few days to see if something has been purchased. And it doesn't show anything. I figure he's lying to me, thank him, and I give it a few hours and decide to call Amazon. After a LONG time, they finally find the transaction. He did buy something for me. An item that was $280, but with taxes/duty fees it just crosses the $300 threshold. Perfect.

But. It didn't show on my 'purchased' list. The only reason I can figure is that because the seller was a 3rd party seller out of the US.

And this. Amazon does not provide wishlist holders with an order number when an item is purchased. in fact, there is NO notification whatsoever that an item was purchased. You need to stay on TOP of your wishlist. I have had an amazon order (gift card) not arrive at my house and the only reason I knew that it was ordered and missing was because I routinely check my list using the sort by purchased feature. I had to call in the customer service line, and they had to reissue it. Otherwise, I would have lost out on that purchase too.

So, in a nutshell:

- keep your Amazon wishlist items in/around $300 or less, or you will feel the sting of seeing that $$$ slip through your fingers
- don't rely exclusively on sorting your wishlist by 'purchased' because items can be purchased and not be reflected under this sort category (my solution to this is to now screenshot my wishlist as a reference to be able to compare if something has dropped off and continue checking by sort feature purchased) - I do this every few days.

And a few other MAJOR irritations:
- the Amazon call center is HORRIBLE for tracking down wishlist items. Each time I call them, they ask for tracking OR they'll ask for the name of the purchaser (wtf?? that defeats the point of a public 'anonymous' wishlist), and I have to explain it's a wishlist item, blah blah. They always do eventually find the item, but some reps are less skilled, and I just end the call and try again with a rep that seems more knowledgeable. There's always a super long hold, but they always do seem to track down the purchase. And they can and will give you the anticipated delivery date if you ask.

Overall, the Amazon wishlist system is majorly flawed. I'm sure I'm missing a few other issues I've had with them... other than that, be cautious with your account setup/mailing address, etc.

I shouldn't complain I guess. It's been lucrative, but also an epic pain.

I've had people buy $300+ worth of items off my wish list multiple times without too many issues. the only time it's been an issue was with a gift card well over $300. their card company flagged it. Probably sound advice to keep things under the $300 mark though.

Amazon doesn't want (or technically allow) sex workers to have wish lists, so they aren't trying to build a sex worker-friendly anonymous service. Your personal information isn't safe with them and their service isn't designed to be used in the way sex workers use it. Third-party items are particularly dangerous, especially ones located across an international border.

As disappointing and annoying as the problems you describe are, there are other ways Amazon wish lists can go wrong that are far more damaging. Accounts can be closed. Gift card balances revoked (including after the gift card has been spent). Personal information can be revealed to customers.

Someone gave me a bad rating & comment the other day because the audio during our skype call wasn't working. Instead of trying to resolve the issue he just immediately got all pissy about it and blocked me. And uh, I'd had like a dozen calls before him and they all worked fine so I'm pretty certain the problem was on HIS end, not mine.

Since then NF has been totally dead for me and I can't help but wonder if its because people see the bad rating and get turned off... UGHH. Fucking asshole.

I agree that the personal info isn't safe. That said, there are workarounds you can do to protect your info.

Aside from that fact, the wishlist issues I outlined are not specific to the fact that the account holder (me) is a SW. The 'issues' have no bearing on the fact that I am a SW. Or so they shouldn't.

Since my last email outlining my Amazon frustrations, Amazon confirmed a $280 item was sent. They then went back on that, said no such item was purchased, but instead a $25 giftcard was purchased, and have now double backed down on that saying, no, there have been no purchases made on your wishlist. It's insane. The amount of problems I've had with them consistently. I feel like I am blacklisted with them, because whatever issues are happening are beyond exceptional. I'm fighting it out for an answer and an explanation.

My question specifically, has anyone here ever experienced Amazon revoking a gift card balance after it is spent (how would they even do that? sue you for the money after the fact?)?

The reason I mention that Amazon doesn't allow sex workers to have an account is because you might be making yourself a little obvious to them with your repeated anonymous wish list purchases and your questions about them. If they catch on to you, you might lose the account, as well as an gift card balance associated with it.

I don't think I've heard of Amazon suing anyone for a negative gift card balance. However, what they can do is either deduct it from an existing gift card balance or they can leave a negative balance on the account and disable all account privileges until you pay the negative balance.

Yeah, you’re making it really hot on the block for yourself with Amazon. I would stop dealing with them all together.
