I have witnessed that at mfc & chaturbate, several unexperienced cam models didn't wait for tips to get into action. I think it can really kill the business because people can have access to live sex shows without paying. If this thing is known among live sex chat visitors they will not pay anymore to get live sex shows.

I think now chaturbate is the main issue. I have spotted several sex shows with good looking people and i didn't have to tip or pay. If i pleasure myself and can access free live sex shows, why would i go to streamate, livejasmin, camcontacts or imlive & pay $3 / minute?
I thought it is not good at all for the industry.

Educate newbies:
I think it is important to educate all new cam models and tell them no to do too much & show too much in their profile pictures. Meaning that topless pictures should be avoided. I think that eastern european cam models. I suggest cam models to "monitor" other cam models & tell them politely when they are killing the business.

Why no too sexy pictures:
Even if you aren't at MFC or chaturbate it is the same. Don't upload too sexy pictures, otherwise male visitors may cum on it & they will never visit you.

There are plently of models, esp on MFC who do very well doing non-nude still to this day. #1 on Miss MFC currently..never gets nude..I don't think anyone is killing the industry..how you market yourself and business skills determines how successful you are. I don't get how anyone can tell how much a models makes either. I have been accused myself of giving it away but guess what? My topless goal was already accomplished! If someone actually does get into action without tips, that is their problem and theirs only. IMO I think it makes the ones who actually does wait for tips seem even more valuable.

You also have to remember that a lot of these models are on several webcam sites simultaneously. They will often get a private or get tipped the amount they said they would get naked for or whatever, on one site, and keep the camera open on the other(s) in hopes of getting more tips/viewers/privates afterward. Easier than stopping to make sure no one gets a free show--though I also know models who will close the webcam on the other sites when they do this.

Really it's up to the models how they want to deal with the situation, but usually the ones I know are definitely not doing it to give guys on the other sites free shows!

Ha! You really think free shows and pictures of models are killing the industry?

The pleasure of fapping over an image, the pleasure of fapping it to a free show, the pleasure of fapping it to porn, and the pleasure of experiencing a show with a camgirl are all completely different things.

So tell that to the ladies earning $700+ per day camming.
They rock enough regs and cam connoisseur custies for those guys to know that they can get all the pussy they want elsewhere on the net, but they're specific about why they want a certain performer.

Hell tell it to my regs, too. ~ I don't do free shows and I have sexy pics of me up. Ask my custies why they pay to come to see me, you can bet that the pleasure custies get out of camgirls isn't to snark free shit that they could get anywhere.

Camgirls provide a way more unique experience than that. It is personalized sexual entertainment tailored to a huge array of fetishes and fantasies; it is companionship; it is a service whereby you can have the satisfaction of a unique fetish acted out; it is a place to hang out and spend money on a performer you like because you think they're hot, awesome, cool, funny, one-in-a-million, the woman of your dreams, the best thing you've ever seen, etc, etc...

It certainly is not fapping over a stationary image or voyeurism. If it was, camming would never have been able to take off in the first place, being as pictures and spy cams existed long before what camming is today.

I'm sure you mean well Scofield but my guess is that you've never worked on cam a day in your life.

The type of men who have to cum from just a picture are not the men we are targeting. I have not charged $3 per minute since the 1990s. Men will pay WAY more than that. Wouldn't even be worth logging in.

Scofield, I agree with most everyone else here. Just because you can find something going on at one site or another, does not mean that it is exactly what you are looking for. Unless you are someone who just likes whatever nakedness comes along, in which case, yeah, I am sure that would affect their willingness to pay for it. That being said, I am sure that most of those kind of guys aren't paying for it anyhow. With everything under the sun available to be found at the different free porn video sites, they find what they are looking for there more often than not.

I say this from my own experience. I have seen ladies doing gold shows on SM with the show being wide open and free at the same time on MFC. If I like what I see, hear, or whatever, I will visit them and go private to see them doing what I specifically like to see, not just the gold show generalized routine designed to please everyone. Trust what the ladies here are saying. I don't feel bad about spending some money to get exactly what I want just because something "what I want adjacent" was happening in another room, and I don't think it is a problem for most others either...at least for those that aren't beggars / leeches.

A lot of us are busy and can barely find time to work between school, kids, etc. So why would we stop making money to go around and babysit? Seems counterproductive. If you have enough time to be telling these ladies how to do their job, follow your own advice and do it yourself or find another hobby.
