I mention Daddy & I always attach the BDSM so people don't think it's a pimp or an online client. People take that word different ways. Just specifying, but believe me, I don't plan on bringing him up on every post. That would be fucking annoying. It's not bragging, I just have no shame.
TheBrownFox...lol. You are awesome as hell.
JoJoX...it's okay. I have thick skin. I asked for everyone's opinion & that invites all types. It's up to me to take it all in and choose what to listen to and what not to. Overall, I give respect to everyone because they deserve it, no matter if I know them personally or not.
Again, I thank everyone. I love this site. I am not one to run away crying over something I don't agree with. Gotta stay strong. Everything is helpful and I love it.

My partner tried giving me tips to help when I first started. Some of his suggestions worked, and some didn't. Our D/S relationship is kept separate from our "professions." It is best that way for me to be successful.
Agreed and that has became an agreement in the household as well. I don't need stress.

LMFAO!! I doubt that, but thank you. :) I'm still an absolute newb, but I believe in diving in headfirst if I want to learn anything. What's better than listening to women with different backgrounds, personalities, ideas, & perspectives? I take this site seriously & I'm feisty myself with a straightforward attitude. Hard to get me down. If I get upset, I just think about bubbles then go blow some...nothing makes me happier than watching beautiful, innocently fragile spheres float through the air then die. LOL!

By the way, cheaper isn't always better. Many, many times I've seen Streamate models offer $1 GOLD shows, and even then guys were hesitant to chip in a freaking dollar on the show. They insisted on asking the model a million questions...What does the highest tipper get? Will you squirt? Will there be anal? What does your husband think of you doing this? Some people never cease to amaze me...lol
Yeah, for real, wtf is that. You literally can't eat at McDonald's for that (tax) and you won't pay it for a sex show? I've found little difference if I charge from 3-5. Above is a difference, for some reason. A guy came into my room and was like, I can see your show or get two dollar menu burgers from McDonald's...I was like bro, if you have to think about it, go get the burgers. And then everyone made fun of him and it was great.

Lol...that's awesome. I've been reading as much as I can about SM from here as well as their site so I plan to start tomorrow. I don't know why I am nervous. I keep telling myself to man the fuck up (or cam the fuck up might be more appropriate).

That's not a good idea in this industry. I have seen many performers start out dirt cheap and have a hell of a time getting customers once they raised their rates. Cheap rates generally attract cheap customers. Pick a rate that you are comfortable with and stand your ground. You will get customers that will pay your rate in time. It takes time to build up regulars.
I also wouldn't take advice from someone outside of the adult industry. I know he means well but this is a whole different league from whatever he does.
My Daddy in the BDSM lifestyle owns his own business and has been giving me advice on how to look at things from a business standpoint. I'm on ImLive and I got my 90 minutes done so I put my price up to $3.89. He says I should stop putting my ego away and think about business and put my prices to around $1.50 to attract more people. I started getting defensive and said I'm not going to sell myself cheap and he says thats ego. I need to attract more people and its "better to get 10 ppl for the low price staying 30 min or more than 2 ppl paying $4-5 for an hour. Walmart attracts people because of their low prices". I've only been on 2 days. First day, fresh meat. I made $50 at the 98 cents price. Then yesterday I made like $20. I didn't care. I know it happens and I'm still learning. I told him there will always be slow days and freeloaders. I know he is just trying to give me constructive criticism but is it a bad idea to lower to the dollar amount? All advice and help welcome.

Woah woah woah!
1. Your Daddy runs a business? Awesome, a lot of people do. We do, too. Actually, in our line of business we spend a great deal of time sussing out just who is worthy of our time, and exactly whose business advice we should be taking. Many of us have spent years doing this; decades for some.
2. Clients - be they "daddies" or not - giving performers business advice is not very well looked-upon here for good reason:
Their advice is usually poised in such a way as to manipulate you, the performer in giving him cheaper shows.
Your Daddy fits that bill.
3. You asked for advice. You gots advice.
Certainly no one here is disrespecting you. No one called you stupid. In fact, we are respecting your service enough to encourage you to steer clear of someone like your "daddy" because anyone who says to a sex worker "It's not about you, it's about them" is Sketchy Shit. So yes, you can do better. If the best I could do with a Daddy was to get someone who pulled that shit on me, I'd leave this industry behind.
The disrespect happened there, with him; not here, with us.
I want to print this out and frame it.

I know you have made your decision, but have you read this thread? https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/showthread.php?166860-Please-Stop-Being-Cheap-%28-!!!!!!!!!!%29 It has been great. Plus, you can show your SO rates of the ESTABLISHED models. The most popular ones are not at the lower rates.
