Strippers sell dance, and I don't mind it.
Sometimes it happens that you want to relax after work and look at the girl's dance while drinking beer.
But I understand perfectly well that this is the work of girls. Although I have always been in my heart grateful to the girls for the emotions that they give me. Even if I pay for it.
And if I see a girl out of work (in a store for example). I say hello and wish a good day .... or does it cause a lot of inconvenience to a girl?

Here’s the thing… many of us compartmentalize the remainder of our lives and stripping, and work to disassociate the two. So, to be approached OTC by a customer subverts that.
Then, of course, there are the unknowns. You don’t know if they’re out and about with someone who doesn’t know they strip, and there may be a good reason for that. So, if you walk up and address someone by their stage name, they could end up having some explaining to do… let’s just call it a safe assumption that, if they haven’t told others, then there’s a reason for that.

Then there’s another major unknown - you. You may mean well, but someone who has only interacted with you at the club doesn’t know you that well. Are you just making conversation or planning on sticking her in a pit dug into your basement floor and telling her to rub lotion on her skin or else she’ll get the hose again? She has no way of knowing that.

So, it’s probably for the best that you don’t.

It's like any other job. You put on a nice face for your clients or customers and you treat them like they are wonderful, special and 'always right', even if deep inside you feel the opposite way.

I am a corporate and litigation attorney and my job is to be my client's advocate. For those that come to me in times of legal turmoil, my job is to be their best friend and confidant and their voice in court during a legal and emotional crisis with extreme tension and drama. They open up to me in a way that they don't open up to anyone, except maybe their therapist. (Half of the time I feel like a therapist just listening to them vent.) I don't judge them about how they got here (well, actually, I do, but I keep that to myself). While I try to have empathy and sympathy for all of my clients, this can be a difficult challenge with some clients, and, I have to rely on Oscar-caliber acting skills.

I go to the club and try to be a good custie. But, I'm not going to lose sleep at night thinking about whether a particular dancer really likes me or not. I'm not a douche, so, if we have repeat interactions, she'll like me as a custie, and that's good enough for me.

Not really. I know the situation when it comes to average Joe's and socio-economics. If you don't want to buy a dance, just be well-mannered and decline.
