its a 9000 i have a c920 but this comp cant handle it it makes my cam blurry and grainy a bit its a Pentium 4 even my 750 socket reg couldn't handle it but i think my 1155 socket rig can handle it but my processor might be blown so i have to wait i got a new 1155 socket motherboard so when i get it from the post office i have to see if i get POST beeps or not when i turn in it. if it doenst the processor is shot then save up 300$ for an i7 i was told an i5 can be overclocked to an i7 with water cooling but i dont wanna fuck with that stuff . this comp needs to die tho the sound drivers are shoot now so i cant hear anything out of it anymore and nothing i download works when i try and get drivers from the net. i have no clue WTF the guy i got from on CL did to it but the drivers i ordered off the gateway website for this model wont work thats the first place i tired.
it sucks watching anime with no sound subtitles can only do so much -_-
for the sound and other drivers stuff, i highly recommend slimdrivers - which can be downloaded from cnet. it finds everything that needs to be updated and updates it for you. I tried to update my drivers manually and it said they were fine.. but i kept getting a blue screen of death. I used SlimDrivers, it said I needed 43 updates on drivers and now my laptop is fine. No more blue screens of death.

i HATE it when ppl are like "u look tired, high, whatever, etc"
just be like "NO, this is just how my face is, im actually very horny for u bb...u wanna see my O face instead?" that will distract them and make them stop whining and complaining

I too have trouble looking not bored on cam lol. If I get told I look bored, I always want to say yes, It's probably 'cause I *AM* bored of you lot!
I do the white shit in the corner of my eyes thing, and I echo using pink eyeshadow on lips to save £, it can even make your make up look more co-ordinated!
And I also like the wall.
I'm intrigued to see everyone's cam backgrounds now lol

Me, too! I am contsantly perving because I love seeing cam setups. I think about mine like 99% of my waking time, especially things to do for little or no money. If I could paint it would help but alas I rent.

I still think you need to get your eyebrows shaped. They arch in the wrong spot and make you look like you're curious/perturbed/crestfallen.. the arch should be in the outer corner.

also, random tip: I find that if you smile with some teeth, ppl generally interpret that as a genuine smile. But smiling without teeth, depending on who you are and how your face is, can be interpreted many different ways.
if i were you, i'd prolly put more teeth into the smile, flash those pearly whites! I try to smile as wide as possible as often as possible when I'm on cam-I like to pretend i am just ECSTATIC to b there

I just got home from wall mart and i was experimenting with lighting with my floor lamp and a desk lamp put behind the monitor i got two shades of pink bulbs and a table cover. I tired combinations of the table cover over all 5 heads on and off the floor lamp and both pink bulbs and the normal white bulb in the desk lamp . Personally i think the one with the table cloth off the lamp and the "baby pink" bulb in the lamp behind the monitor looks better. If you guys agree does that mean i should get more baby pink bulbs and fill the whole lamp with them? or is that set up fine and i just need to keep using the table lamp behind the monitor with the baby pink bulb in it .
i didnt want to photobomb the thread so i made a folder in my flickr

Maybe hanging white linens behind you will brighten up the room... I do shit all the time.. command strips are the bomb! You can hang anything on anything and they are cheap AF. Sheer linens ... draped flowing... trust me.. command strips lol love em. linens are so cheap.. get tired of one color .. get another... soon you can start looping them together for flowing themes

The blonde look really good on you. I mean really good.
I think the lighting in 34 looks best, also if you could but a soft pink bulb in another light and shine on your face so that you have eye lights that would really make you eyes look more lively.
This might help with lighting http://www.mediacollege.com/lighting/three-point/simulator.html

Everything I'm about to say isn't what you SHOULD do. I think you're beautiful, but these are some suggestions.
Makeup:
1. Since your lips are thin, I suggest a <b>dark lip liner</b>. It definitely helps plump your lips out.
Since you're pale, a lighter color would suit you.
2. Your eyes are also small. There are two things you can do to help this:
a) Heavy mascara.
b) Fake eyelashes.
I am a strong believer that eyes become the most beautiful with a plump set of lashes.
Also, a very dark eyeliner would look good.
I wouldn't go too heavy on eyeshadow. A little color gives a nice appeal, but going too dark can draw men away. In fact, most men prefer no eyeshadow to some. Some girls can pull off heavy, bold colors. To me, I don't think dark colors does justice to your pretty face :)
The only other thing I would suggest is perhaps covering up a little more up top. Men sometimes love the mystery of what is underneath a womans clothes. If a shirt is off, there is no mystery other then the bra (which most men can picture with how many women they have seen shirtless.) BUT, that's your call :) Do what you think works for you!
I wouldn't change your angle or scenery. It's much better then what you previously had. You have an adorable voice and you have a likable personality.
I hope you find your niche of what works for you! You deserve it. Just fall in love with the idea of what your job is compared to everyone else, and stay positive even during the slower hours.
Xoxo.

. should i get more pink bulbs and fill up 5 headed floor lamp or keep using the 5 white bulbs in the floor lamp and keep the pink bulb in the table lamp behind the monitor
I think all 5 would be a bit much, 2 at the most is more then enough (1 in the 5 headed and the table lamp)

I hear the same thing all the time! I could be running errands in public (ex. going to Walmart) and SOME RANDOM guy always say: stop looking so mean, smile, whats wrong?....NOTHING is wrong, this is how i was BORN! its so irritating, why do people expect me to smile 24/7? My neighbor tells me this as soon as i step outside. It's like he's waiting for me. Let me live.

my first attempt to do a smokey eye i followed this clip - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZubfjjICn0
for some reason this look really brings out my droopy eye (i got pink eye in it a few years ago and the lid drops down more then the other) i dunno why its more apparent now tho in the pix i just took. I used dark blues and blacks .

I can't see the smokey eye pics but a tip for the lashes: to peel them out of the packaging pinch the very outside ends (the ones that would go on the outside of your eyes) with tweezers and then carefully pull toward the center. You'll probably have to trim them anyway so if the ends get crimped it's the part that you'll be cutting off anyway. Also to put them on I like to set them in their basic placement with my fingers then use needle tip tweezers with the ends closed to maneuver the lash and press it exactly where I want it to go. Practice makes perfect. Hope that helps!

It would. Black, blues and purples create shade and depth so things will look more pronounced. But from the pics I personnel didn't notice anything thing drooping so it could just be your minds eye focusing in on what you view as your imperfections.
Try shading ( or filling , how ever you like to call it) in your eyebrows a lil, it will bring out you eye makeup more. I watched the vid link, well the last 3 min of it lol, you did a very good job

I loved reading this thread -- I think your transformation is amazing and you got so many good ideas!
I learned quite a bit about doing my own makeup and I'll tell you something that no one does in tutorials: you have eyes like mine, not droopy, but they LOOK droopy when you put on the eyeliner right next to the lashes. You need to draw that eyeliner UP and that will make your eyes seem like they tilt upward (and look 'happier'). Try experimenting at what point to 'lift' the eyeliner from the lashline --I take as a reference the outer third of my eyelid, there instead of following the downward arc of your eye, pull it UP and out towards your eyebrow. I hope it makes sense.

maybe do a Marilyn Monroe winged eyeliner as my normal cam look? sounds like ur talking about a winged eye because i found this really good tutorial on youtube i was thinking about doing it every once in awhile because it is so dramatic but if its recommend a do it every time i go on cam i will

I do mean winged eyeliner, but furthermore I was talking about experimenting with where you lift the line off, because with your eye shape, doing it just as prescribe leads you to a more round-eyed, doll look, whereas playing with the line draws a new fake eyelash line. I don't know how to explain it.,,, this video helped me:
http://youtu.be/6jmrtxQVd10
and ETA: you don't need to make it that dramatic, that is the point. :) the thing is finding the right tilt/angle for your eye shape. and of course that marilyn look ROCKS. <3

yeah I personally don't continue with the "wing" going past the corner of my eye because I really don't like how it looks. The look in the second video is way more modern imo and if you're just starting with makeup will be easier for you to play around with without having to worry too much about it being uneven looking.

i just watched this video - http://youtu.be/6jmrtxQVd10 is "round eyes" a nicer way to say "droopy eyes"
