Naked.com can pay you daily though a card, the fee is $10 or $15 , I can't remember well. Some girls said that they were not getting their money the very next day, you can read about it on the naked.com thread
They no longer do that. It's 3 business days and they charge you $9.95 every single time you request the pay, plus there are chargebacks so you may or may not be paid for the shows you do.
I do sometimes get my money the next day but if you request it say, late on a friday you wont get it till monday afternoon or evening. $9.95 a day would add up fast in fees so I try not to request it too often!

On SM if you ask Vanessa she can usually change the 3 week delay to just a week. I think especially in this case with what DP has done she'd do all she can to help anyone move over.
Just thought anyone who may be waiting to move over cause of the delay should know that. It can be waived.
They will only waive that if you are in the USA I believe.

I'm in Scotland and never had to wait three weeks. I enquired when I started on SM in May but they told me I was already set to be paid weekly.

That's good. I've always though it was unfair when they treat models differently in countries outside the US. I thought I remembered seeing that they pay a lesser percent and held the checks for 3 weeks but hopefully they have stopped doing that now.
I'm glad to see too that they are allowing models to keep their names. I lost my name and all my favorites when I left daily pay and had to start with a new name and new account, and they said it wasn't an option to move my favorites over.

I didn't know that after 3 weeks held pay on AW, you would be paid weekly. Had I known this, I wouldn't have signed up for DP. I only chose DP because I thought AW only sent money out once a month.
Whaaaaaa? You can be paid weekly on AW!?! You aren't the only one who wasn't aware of this fact.

Interestingly enough, he kept asking what he should do instead. *Cough* "Bullshit!" *Cough* "You had every intention of outing people who owed you until you got unwanted feedback." *Cough* Not only was the whole thread deleted, his message response disappeared out of my inbox too.

On the streamate 3 weeks topic.
I lately created a new SM account. I'm from EasternEu, so previously it was impossible to lift the 3 weeks delay. Now when I created the acc I had an option to choose "hold my payments for 3 weeks" or not. In my own profile, I could tick it, or remove the tick. I cannot say I got payed, because I didn't work SM on the new account yet, but I definitely have that in my profile.

The thing I find funny is that he doesn't realize that whether or not he was 'really going to out people or not' the whole concept is still wrong.....can you imagine how he would feel is someone were to say 'I wasn't REALLY going to ruin your whole life and reputation, I just wanted you to start paying me on time on DP.'
Threats cause psychological damage whether you go through with them or not. That is why they are freaking illegal in the first place. If he can't understand that there is something morally wrong with making a threat (whether or not you truly intend to keep it) then he is one french fry short of a Happy Meal.

So angry this has happened after being referred here by other girls. Disgusting how he runs this group treating people like this when the majority work hard to put money in his pocket! Why don't the girls stand up for themselves and threaten him right back? He really must think all camgirls are dumb, anyone whos in the adultwork group has his name and bank details in their profile to spread over the internet if they wanted to take him off his power trip so i don't understand why they are letting themselves get bullied like this. Camgirls need to stick together and spread the word to everyone in the industry what a lowlife this group manager really is and most importantly if people really can't do without getting paid daily then its simple for any successful camgirl out there to start a dailypay group and run it professionally and legally. And just to add,how irresponsible to loan thousands of pounds to people whos spending habits you don't even know, obviously earning from the interest, comes down to nothing but greed. If i were in this group i would be very wary of just where else my hard earned money has been used in there ie.loans, other risky investments and if it all goes under where do you stand?

Thanks to all who gave the advice to contact SM and try to switch over. I wrote to Liz, contacted support as she said to do, and had them switch my account to work directly for SM. Now all I have to do is have them reverify my account info, including SSN and such.
Problem is, the reason I went with DP (well, WP really) in the first place, is that I was trying to get away from an contract which I had made the n00b mistake to sign. I've heard success stories about girls moving from DP to work directly for SM after 6mo or so in a similar situation. In my case, I quit IM in July, so it's been 3-4 months.
Should I go ahead and give SM my SSN? Is the worst case scenario them telling me I can only keep working through DP? Or could this possibly ruin my job at SM completely till next July? If it can, I might have to return to DP and hope the place doesn't go up in flames...
I appreciate any advice ya'll can give! :)

Nope, they seem to have actually transferred my entire account intact- favs, blocked users, comments, tags, stats on earnings and time, the whole shebang, no changes to name. I can't stream again until they approve my payment information though (which I filled in like, 3 hours ago). Might be a special thing they're doing now specifically b/cause of this crazyness that they wouldn't normally do though?

it is because of the as u say "crazyness" every studio has a clause that states if you leave them u cant join that site again with a solo account until a certain time has passed 6-12 months is the norm and on top of that you cant use the same account. what some models have done to get out of the trap with studios that take 15% is to leave the 15% studio make a new account with daily pay stay there for a little bit (DP has a minimum time u have to be in before they release you) leave DP then make a new solo account with that site. Thats a total of starting over with new accounts three times ! if youve taken a scan thru the latest post in Roast studio thread u'll see thats its gotten super hard to get out of the 15% studios and go into DP because SM is tightening up the "knots" on the loopholes that models have been using to get out of them. so SM would NEVER let u do what theyre doing for u and others effected by this collin threat situation if otherwise

No no...I can't stream- the account is essentially in hold- until I click to reverify my tax info and payment info. What I'm worried about is the system flagging it or something, saying that I'm still under contract with IM since it has only been 3-4 months since I left them for DP.
I'm worried that if they find out, they might boot me for good (well, till the 1yr since IM is over, in July), instead if just tossing me back to DP.
Does that make sense? I say the situation would kick SUPER AWESOME ASS if you weren't only with DP to wait out a contract with another studio, as I'm sure it is for most girls on DP/SM doing this switch.
Good timing though...just got my period, gotta take a couple days off anyway. :P

Wow. Thanks to the person who started this thread. Looks like I really dodged a bullet. I joined the DP forum some months back, because I was going to sign up for DP to see if I could leave the studio I was with. But I contacted the site I was on directly, and never did anything with it. I've been out of camming for a while, and recently was going to sign up for DP. But when I tried to, the forms were offline. I posted in the forum and e mailed, but never got any response. I'm glad now I never got any response. I sure as hell wouldn't trust someone like this with my personal info, or my pay.

I used to be in that group but it was one mistake after another with my pay so i stopped trusting them. So after hearing this i sure as hell won't trust them again. People here need to spread the word via twitter and all cam sites/forums to stop new and possibly naive girls from signing up with them in the event it all goes badly wrong. Its much better to get paid weekly/fornightly like any regular job and keep your 6% knowing that your money is safe and not at as much of a risk as it is being tied into a group which gets into debt and doesn't even provide the proper 'dailypay' service you are paying for!

Actually...Looks like I was able to stream! The email support sent me as a reply to the request to switch the account said I'd have to update my tax info and payment info, but my tax info was already on there-- I just figured I'd have to click to submit it. My payment info, however, had my city and zip missing-- so I filled them out, submitted and went ahead and tried to stream...and it worked just fine!!
I hope all girls in my situation-- making the transition from a studio to working solo for SM by going through DP-- take this opportunity! It's like it totally bypassed their system and there's no issue with me becoming a solo model. Yay!

I agree it is pretty awesome. I wish they had this option a long ass time ago. It would've been helpful to alot of us who had to create a new account, create new name/re-brand ourselves, gain favs/regulars back, reblocked users, build up our ratings/comments again, etc. I am glad that SM is doing right in this situation.

I think you're both right? From what I'm reading MsCupCake didn't change her name on her old DP account, she had all the details of her DP account transferred to a new account. Based on what I'm reading chicas leaving DP do need to make new accounts, but if they go through Liz they can have their favorites/hearts/ratings/etc moved with them to their new account, so they won't be starting over again from scratch. It's essentially the DP account transferred to a new independent account (with or without a slight variation in name, I'm seeing both exeriences posted here).
I have heard of chicas who have had names changed without moving accounts, but that's a whole nother issue and someone more familiar with sm would probably be a better source for that.

I didn't have to make a new account. Liz, and then SM support, after I gave consent, made it so when I log in with the same email I had used with DP, everything looks the same (settings, name, favs, comments, tags) but is an independent account. I don't really consider it a "new" account. There was no name change.

Just to give you girls a head up..
I noticed lots of girls were removed from the DP AW group. It now says "open for registrations again" lol
Anyway, after being released from DP you are put in a holding group by him for 3 weeks.
To protect his credits.
Even though you can now cash out yourself, he still has the option in his menu to cash out your credits if he would want to.

If he is out of pocket of 20 000 + it just shows how much he is making off us. I was kicked out of dp for having the temerity to point out that he was taking 11% off our AW earnings and not 6%. The extra 5% he claims was for using Just Cam It. I pointed out that AW took that off our earnings before he was paid our earnings. So in effect we were paying the JCI fee twice. He then closed my DP account and delayed releasing my account, by 3 weeks back to AW. I was totally roasted by the girls on the AW board , who think the sun shines out his arse.

Wow. Could you tell me the math behind your findings?
I'm not good at maths alot. I thought I was working it out right. Can you help me lol?
I always went to credits turn over and put my total credits in calculator and did the sum -41% and got my total. I worked it out because. AW take 5% for JCI, AW take 30% fee and DP take 6%.. This equals 41% total to minus.
My brain is hurting from trying to see if you're right or not.
Milaa
11-07-2013, 06:14 AM
He always took the correct amount out of my earnings. Only the 6%.
However, more than once he tried to take a 66% cut out of my Skype bookings on AW..
Which is wrong because there is no JCI fee for Skype bookings.
Of course when I told him there was no apology just the money sent a day later..
If you left DP and you want to see in what holding group he put you just click on Group Administration in your account and you will see the group name.
then go to groups.adultwork.com/GROUPNAME and there you are.
BritishBecky
11-07-2013, 06:48 AM
^The correct maths is this:
For every 100 credits made
If you work AW independently (not through DP), they take the 5% off your earnings immediately for JCI. When you cash out they THEN take 30%.
The formula is:
100 credits
-5% = 95 credits
THEN cashout 95 - 30% = 66.50 credits
DP claims to keep 6% of your TOTAL earnings (ie the 100 credits originally made)
6% of 100 credits is 6
So he should pay the difference between what you would get if you were independent (what he gets paid from AW) - 6
That means he should pay 66.50 - 6 = 60.50
So for every 100 credits made through DP you should get £60.50
All that ONLY applies for Directcam!
BritishBecky
11-07-2013, 06:52 AM
So, the 59% calculation is a red-herring. If he did in fact only pay 59 credits for every 100 credits made on directcam then the amount he would actually pocket would be 7.5 credits per 100 on JCI (7.5%)
I believe this is how he used to calculate it until some of us pointed out his mathematical error. My understanding is that he then started paying out the correct amount.
TeenageAnnie
11-07-2013, 07:00 AM
nevermind
TeenageAnnie
11-07-2013, 07:09 AM
i dont get why you are using a per 100 credits formula? its £1 per 1 credit. so if a customer spends 1credit I get 59% of that which is 0.59p. so on DP i earn 0.59p per credit. and i've just spent the last half hour calculating all my figures to a tee and he isn't stealing anything.
BritishBecky
11-07-2013, 07:12 AM
No, you earned 0.73 (the amount paid by the customer). Then JCI fee was 5% (the 0.0.4).
If you were to cash that out using AW directly then you would get 0.73-0.04 = 0.69 - 30% = 0.48
DP should take 6% of the total credits made (completely separately from the fees charged by JCI and AW)
That means on the above 0.73 he would take just over 0.04 (0.044 to be more precise)
So you should be paid 0.48 (total from AW) - 0.04 (6% of 0.73) = 0.44
That's different from 59% of 0.73 which is actually only 0.43 (small difference amounting to £1.50 per 100 credits made)
BritishBecky
11-07-2013, 07:16 AM
Because you are making the mistake of adding the two adultwork fees together (the JCI fee and the cashout fee)
the adutlwork fees (if working independently) do NOT make up 35%
They actually take the 5% FIRST and then the 30%!
So, £100 - 5% JCI = £95
£95- 30% = £66.50
So, if you work AW independently you get paid £66.50
If they only pay you £59 then the difference between £66.50 and £59 is £7.50 which they have kept in their pockets. £7.50 is not 6% of the £100 spent on you on AW.
