I seen a pink envelope sitting there and thought, "Aww, cute! My boyfriend bought me a valentine's day card!". He moved it and I thought for sure that that must've been my card. He showed up with roses, chocolates, a teddy bear, and a red envelope. I was expecting to see the pink envelope with the silver seal. Nope. That got my mind wondering who in the hell else he bought a card for. His mom and grandma are in heaven and he has no sisters. As far as I know no one in his family has a birthday in February or March so that got me going. I asked him about the pink envelope. He got mad and told me he didn't know what I was talking about. I told him the pink envelope that had been sitting there. He left the room and came back with the pink envelope. He told me he didn't know who it was from and he tore it open. It turned out to be a stupid advertisement from AT&T. I hate AT&T. Whoever in their marketing department thought that it would be a good idea to send their advertisement bullshit in a pink envelope with a silver seal and no writing or markings indicating what's inside, clearly never had a (crazy) woman in their life. I felt so bad I baked him red velvet brownies with chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting and let him eat as many as he wants. He wasn't in the mood for sexy time so we cuddled until he fell asleep.

I forgot to get some Valentine's day cake or cupcakes because I was stressed out when I ran errands today.
My room mate is going to go grab some tonight. I'm just beating myself up over this. ughhhh.

I'm recovering from pneumonia & I have discovered the way pneumonia makes someone smell (body sweat/body odor) is awful. I've been bathing or showering daily & scrubbing with soap. (I did take prescribed meds.) It really adds insult to injury. #themoreyouknow
Wow, sorry to hear that. Maybe it's a side-effect from the meds? I know for a fact that certain medications can give off funky body odors, just like certain foods can cause people to smell unpleasant. I remember once when I had a bad sinus infection and was on antibiotics I had this gross, sour body odor. It wouldn't go away no matter how many times I showered or sprayed myself with perfume. It took a few days to finally go away. Bleh! I hope you are fully recovered and that goes away soon.

I stepped into my bedroom for a second & the smell is still there- I have been having to wash my clothing after every wearing.
Just sharing as a warning to people who might deal with this in the future. Better to wash, do laundry & turn on the Scentsy warmer than to have the house smell "off" be nose blind to it. (I was bedridden for several days so I didn't notice this odor issue until I started on the meds & was moving around again.)

I feel like I have a certain smell when I am sick too. I always wear a bunch of layers in an attempt to keep it contained inside my clothes! I think I'm overly conscious of it because I have a super strong sense of smell though because my partners have never been able to tell.
I can practically tell I'm about to become sick just by the way I smell.

Ugh so it looks like I'm gonna have to go to this concert by myself. The ticket insurance has way too many exclusions and it's gonna be like impossible for me to get my money back.
It's a super awesome two day event. I could always invite one of my brothers to go but I just dont feel like going with them. And none of the girls at work wanna miss working the weekend. Lol I wish some of you lived in LA. I would take one of you in a heartbeat!

Why do I feel so empty today? Is Valentine's Day fucking with my head or something?
Also, I feel kinda bad that I was harsh in one of my posts to someone, but I was speaking from experience, and it was done out of a form of "tough love". It just irks me when men don't work and live off of their girlfriend's/wife's income. Ugh. I'm sorry.

I wish they'd just completely eradicate V day. It brings a lot of people down. Like, what if you're single? Or if you just broke up with someone? Holidays shouldn't exclude people. It's just not nice.

I want to like holidays, but they always end with me being upset with a boyfriend or family. Fuck you, Valentine's Day.
I agree.
I went grocery shopping yesterday, and noticed this really pretty girl struggling to get a bunch of big Valentine's day balloons, and Flowers into her car. I offered to help her, which she was so appreciative of. I commented that I hoped whoever she was buying that for,
knew how lucky he was. She just giggled, and said he did.
Then when I was in the store, ( which was packed), I couldn't help but notice how all the men were buying dinky bouquets of flowers. Like really, really small. No balloons.
Idk! I wouldn't be impressed if a guy gave me that, unless it came with jewelry.
Guess women are just more generous than some men are.
But yeah, other than my online dating site getting tons of requests for a date, ( mostly for a free fuck), I was pretty much alone.
I just ate a sandwich and went to bed early.
Holidays are generally not good for sex workers.

I know I've noticed the "sick smell" on other people but never said anything (feelings.) Smelling it on myself was distressing. I layered clothing because it was cold & then had to wash everything because the stench was sticking to the fabric.

I can normally get away with not having regulars because I usually travel and work in bigger cities but I've had to deal with regulars lately considering the fact that I semi regularly work at a club in a smaller town where you have to have them in order to make a livable wage and they are fucking draining. They text you all the time and want to chit chat when you're trying to relax on your days off and constantly asking to meet up and do things outside of work. Ugh. I don't know how girls deal with this, it's annoying, but in this club it's a necessary evil. :/

As someone who is spent their first Valentines Day single in over 5 years.....amen sister.
I always call clubs ahead of time when I'm going to a new area or an area I don't have a regular club in to line up some audition times before I even get there......I always find the interactions with the clubs on the phone so hilarious. One of them was a simple voice recording telling you what time to come in, another one the manager was tripping over his tongue trying to figure out how to tell me "ummmmmm ummmmmm well, I don't know sometimes they audition on the spot sometimes they take your photo and call....I don't know what the manager does...ummmmm ummmm you can come in and we'll have to see ummmm ummmm. Sometimes they have to talk to another manager and get approval. UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM"
hahahahahaha. Don't give yourself a stroke bro. I'm not assuming you're hiring me on the phone by speaking to me, just give me a time to audition and fill out the damn application.

Well, this's gonna sound dumb / petty, so be it..
This morning I was in the lobby getting creamer for my coffee, & this girl that works here tells me I look like Janis Joplin what?! Uh no I do NOT, & that's not a complement, @ all.
Talented, yes she was, very.
Back story: yrs ago @ a divey club some girl used to tell me that, (on a reg basis, no less) honestly I felt she was jealous of me, despite the fact she was attractive & one of the higher earners.
So yes to hear that shit again, just no>:(

One of my clients keeps asking me if I have a strap-on. I keep telling him I don't. In actuality, I do, but I don't want to use it on him. He's so gross. So then he asks if I can do a prostate massage for him.... ewwww no, that's even worse!
I just hate the guys who repeatedly ask for something that I've told them I don't have/don't do, like they think eventually the answer will change "just for them" or something.

I once worked with a girl at a vanilla job who found out I danced and was asking me to take her to a club to audition cuz she needed money. "Oh, but... do I have to give lapdances? I don't want to dance for old men!" Well, then you don't want to be a stripper...
Or the girls who come here all "I want to be an escort! But only for men I find attractive." XD lol ok Not that I've never had a super-hot client, but you can't base your business model on it.

lol Right? I have gotten these questions from non dancer friends too and I also tell them if they have issues dancing with old, fat, or unattractive guys this isn't the job for them. I actually prefer dancing for old unattractive guys at this point because they are usually way easier to upsell and more appreciative. A lot of the younger, more attractive guys I've danced for are usually more of the "2 for 1" special types and only get the cheapest dances. Escorting is the same way. I've never been an escort but I have a close friend who is one so I've gone to her calls with her and waited in the car so she would feel more safe. I would see a lot of the guys she would service and again, they were mostly awkward, old, or unattractive. The only attractive ones I saw were young military guys who were away from home and horny lol.

**EDIT as I was sitting in my car in the drug store parking lot writing this, some dude parked next to me and hit my car with his car door HARD. He didn't realize I was in the car and tried to act like nothing happened until I got out and chewed him out. It's too dark to tell if it damaged anything but thankfully I got his plate and I can always access the parking lot security cameras. Wtf is wrong with people? How can you fuck up parking?!

So. Today this guy knocks on my door, he works here @ the hotel, he drives a courtesy van to pick up guests. He asked me to give him a ride, I know him (more or less, we've talked a few times). He's very nice..
So I said yea sure, he offered gas $, but I told him I'd like him to help me sometime soon w/moving my stuff to my newer storage. Anyway, his car's been in the shop, he's been riding a bicycle to work..(he wanted to pick up some $ owed so he could get car out)
So anyway it's a bit of a ride & we're chatting, he told me he was kinda scared to ask me cause the one front desk lady (that said I look Janis Joplin::)) told him I might 'be crabby about it'::) He said for me to please not mention it, he's gotta work w/her..no prob
Anyway so on the way back he gets a text, & one of the house keepers told his wife (she lives here her/his kids, he does too, but stays further for another job) that she saw us leaving in my car??
Ugh, please, I'm honestly no drama..he assured me everything's fine but now I'm concerned, when I went out to heat my sandwich one of the housekeepers kinda looked @ me.

I casually mentioned having worked at a full nude club to some of the girls in the dressing room while talking about places I've worked while in one of my topless clubs, and some of them got really bitchy and judgmental about it. Like OMG GASP!!!! I've SHOWN MY VAGINA BEFORE!!!! HOW HORRIBLE!!! I've encountered this attitude in several other topless clubs and bikini bars too.
I understand going full nude is not everyone's thing, but why judge other girls who don't have as big of a problem with it? I hate to break it to you but the general non-stripper public looks at all of us the same way and puts us all in the same box whether or not you are dancing in a bikini or nude. You are not above someone else just because you keep your bottoms on onstage hun.

Ugh, some guys who think they suddenly have a chance now that you're single... Nope.... Never...
I became single in September 2016 after not being single for over 5 years and I was just bitching about this lol. The minute it got out that I was single guys who barely spoke to me started blowing up my inbox. I'm about to block this one guy I know because he's literally sending me 10 messages a day even though I barely respond and am VERY short with him when I do. It's annoying. I'm not looking for a relationship nor do I want one. I mean, I still love my husband but I can't fix it right now and am honestly enjoying being alone. Plus I'm picky about who I date and have never been a serial dater. I tend to stay single for years between relationships.
Another thing related to this, I know my female friends who are trying to take me out to bars to meet guys mean well but when I tell them I'm not interested in meeting guys and just want to be alone right now it's goes over their head.

Oh, I see.
I enjoyed the one I stayed at, I guess I got lucky.
As much as it was a good fit for me, I'm so happy that I found a permanent home to rent.

They were LOUD AF & mostly in the hallway..I even stuck my head out the door..Could care less ignorant mf's, the guy goes, "Oh, move on, nothing to see here" Riiight..
This morning & last night the hallway area by my room STUNK to high heaven, BAD. I sprayed body spray there, just to deal w/going in & out
The van driver for here said a big group's coming in next month as well >:(
Little to no security (just the van driver, & not after 1 a.m.)
No cameras in here either!
I did go on Airbnb, again this morning, there's one I'm kinda considering, it's a bit far..
Thing is, I do have a somewhat lower rate, if I leave & come back, it'll go back up again for 6 wks (that's the long term stay rule here) before it'd go back down
Maybe I can reconsider dancing

Two more roommates were recently added to the place I'm living. I don't like living with this many people and already feel the annoyance and the tension from overcrowding and them pissing everyone off by asking to change this, move this, take over this area of the house they have no right to, etc etc. I don't own the house though, I'm also renting a room so it's not my call. Time to buckle down and save the money to move somewhere else.........

OMG, do I feel this^!
I'm not in exactly the same sitch, I live in a hotel, but cripes now it's 65 the last couple days, March is around the corner, & all the big groups descend in..I normal don't GAF, but since they have free reign (it seems) to run around the halls, act loud/drunk, then fuck all that.
