I tried to make vegan pad Thai at home and it turned out like shit.
I tried to make a vegan cake earlier and it also was a mess. I thought I had perfected using aquafaba for desserts but cakes are a different matter. Cakes are too science-y for me, LOL. I'm a good cook but not such a good baker.

It would have been AMAZING if I would have been a together woman this week pushing through the to do list.
I was " meh ".
If I got more done, this trip to the club could be three days instead of two. Oh well ..... two should do it ..... but it never hurts to get ahead. ;/

Has anyone ever had to LEAVE a space they shared with an ex ? This place is MINE now but I sometimes wonder if I'm handicapped by the memories / his ghost .
I've done it all .... reclaimed the space ......... sage it often ........ make it mine.
I still have these memories of him shutting down and then verbally harassing me until my anxiety spiked and I thought I was going to need medication.
I need more plants and art on the walls ( it is sterile ..... I have one picture up ). ;/
Oh .... and ONE more whine to round out this bitch fest hahah
I now hate my natural blonde hair after having red hair hahahah . I need to get back to the salon but it takes hours.

I get so annoyed with how little food Chipotle gives their customers these days *eye roll* Everytime I get a bowl with very little to no rice, you'd think they'd load it up more but nope. Greedy fuckers. I've gotten to where I've had enough & if they don't even give me a full scoop of something I say more please LOL I do this with the meat as well, people behind me are in awe how I'm able to walk out with way more food than them at times, depending on the store location.

I feel this way about Subway. I don't understand why they've gotten so gosh darn stingy with their veggies. There's been multiple times that I ask for spinach and watch them place literally one spinach leaf after spinach leaf along the length the sub, without them overlapping, like they do the cheese.... like, seriously? I'll ask for olives and they'll "sprinkle" 4 little olive bits in the middle.
But ask for "just a few jalapenos" and they'll dump the whole damn bucket on the sandwich.... -_-
I used to eat at Subway damn near every other day - but I don't bother with them much anymore.

I can't stand when people are totally inconsiderate of your time. Just because I make my own schedule for the most part, doesn't mean that I have nothing better to do than sit around waiting for you to make up your mind about when you plan on stopping by. I had to move 2 appointments to accommodate you. I hate when you tell a person this and they seem to stall even more. I'm giving him an hour since that's the only free time I have left and if I don't hear from him, I'm going to just go on about my day.

Then I get there on Thursday and his ass is like I’m going to keep what I have aka I’m not buying anything from you.
Like asshole! Don’t have me waste my time and gas if you are just going to be with the shits.

Needy guy friend texted me the other night, wistfully complaining about how he misses late night chats with pizza and anime. He's reached out several times in the last couple weeks to inform me that he's in a shitty place mentally right now. I've visited him in person once, and responded 2 other times now with texts/messages trying to support him. But I'm just exhausted right now. I didn't respond to the last message so he sent me some self-pitying one a few days later where he's started off apologizing for "bothering" me, but I don't know the rest of it because I refuse to have it on "read" at the moment.
In a way, I think it makes me a crappy friend, but I just don't have it in me to carry the burden of his emotional shit right now. I did what I could for awhile, but I can't just be the only shoulder to lean on anymore. I have my own crap going on, and I don't want to feel like I'm a terrible person for saying "I can't take more onto me right now." I hate when he does this. He has a fiance. That he always complains just dumps all her emotional shit on him, and he can't deal with the stress anymore... but the fact that they have an unhealthy give and take in terms of him carrying all her emotional crap while he can't give any complaints back to her, shouldn't make it my problem to then become his personal therapist.
People talk all the time about not letting emotional vampires drain you, protecting your mental space, and not being ashamed to turn down taking on any burden that you can't emotionally handle... but I feel like the "social media warriors" who promote this "mental health awareness" the most are the same ones who would immediately turn their vicious rants on anyone who set a healthy boundary, saying they can't deal with a constant heavy, emotional burden from them because they're dealing with their own stuff - because now they're "being unsupportive." *eye roll*

Oh I totally gave up on their greedy asses too! LOL I will take my $$$ to Jersey Mikes & get a HUGE sandwich instead of Subway's silly $8 6 inch with hardly anything on it. At least Olive Garden has the right idea: Mon-Thurs 3-5pm ,$10.99 Lasangna, Fettucini Alfredo, other etc dishes WITH all you can eat soup/salad, breadsticks :)

I hate how I have to drive to "nice" gas stations just to maintain my fucking personal space. There are 4 gas stations (FOUR!) within walking distance of my apartment and I have to drive further away because the ones close to me always have 3-5 guys just standing around, looking unemployed.
My avoidance is half caused by actual fear, in broad daylight. I never have a good experience when I use stations like these. From guys sticking their head in my window to talk to me or grabbing the pump to "help". One time my car door was open and i had half of my body in, half out; this dude came all the way up to my door to explain that even though he was drunk he thought we should get to know each other. It was 2 am and I was on my way home from work. Terrified doesn't quite cover it.
I have the most unfriendly expression on at all times and it doesn't help. And, i hate to throw this out there, but it's only ever men from my own race who do this. Only. EVER.
I hate this.

Reading this, and the above posts is so relatable.
Everytime I try to explain this to my male friends, ( even the gay ones), they look at me like I have 3 heads.
They never get it. Unless they are a female, it's safe to say that they never will.
Must be nice to be able to go anywhere without being hassled.
I even knew one man, who had the sex change operation. Transformed into a gorgeous, statuesque blonde goddess.
He was harassed by men so much, ( and got paid less for the same job he had been doing for 15 years as a man).
That he decided to go back to living as a man.
Now, what does THAT tell you?
I think it speaks volumes.

I'll just sit here with my coffee and fantasy of Aviation B.
He will close a plane sale and invite me to fly with him to ( insert exotic USA city here ).
For weather, lets say Jackson Hole or some other rich mountain city.
I will grab my overnight bag and settle in and perv on thoughts of him during the ride (while being ultra professional as this is his job).
I catch a car to a great room he has rented for us while he goes and does his thing with clients.
Bath + new lingerie to wait for him. He arrives post sale thrilled and wild sex ensues.
*Reality : No 2nd date + I actually know nothing about his job really other than vague details .
I do know his last gig was a small town in the midwest, not exactly a cool city . ;(

^^I feel everything you are going through on a cellular level, because I've been there over 25x
Moving is stressful enough as it is. The added b.s. and glitches make it even worse.
In hindsight, I realized the saying, "How you start is how you end" to be so accurate.
If it were me, I would cancel the lease, put my things in storage.
I would stay at an Airbnb until I found a place I'm comfortable with renting.
Is that an option that you would consider?
On a somewhat related note.
A buddy of mine is always bugging me to buy a house. How it would be a great investment.
Even though I've explained that I don't want the responsibility/ maintenance/ high taxes of one.
I've listened to him bitch for 10 years about things breaking down. How he hates his house because of it. How much money he's always dropping on repairs.
Now, he's selling it.
He tells me that he needs to make 100 thousand profit for it to be worth it.
Bitch, just saving that amount each week for the last 10 years would have been easier!
He makes 10 grand a month, and his expenses are only half of that.
Get off of my back about how I should buy a house.
Not going to happen.
If I took out a mortgage now, I'd be 90 when it's paid off!
Provided I never get sick, or something happens to my ability to make the payments.
Thanks for the advice. I did finally meet up and talk to 2 friends later that day. I renew my lease here. The other place is 3 hours away but I would of had to move by today and the movers were also booked up. Everything was going against it. I did not want to have to pay for storage and temp housing with my cat. I plan to stay here at least 6 months then move.

I'm so sad I missed a phone call from my friend in prison last night. I have been so good about keeping my phone near me in case he calls, and I have my fitbit synced to buzz if I get calls or texts.
Of course, after 2 months of not hearing from him, my fitbit band broke 2 days ago, so I wasn't wearing it. Went to an outdoor concert, and didn't see it light up next to me, and didn't feel it vibrate cuz I didn't have the fitbit and it was on the ground instead of my pocket...
I picked it up to take a picture right after the call ended and saw the missed call from No Caller ID, which I knew was him... and a minute later I had the voicemail with the automated voice telling me how to "accept" the call. I can't believe after all that time, I missed it.

There's a street fair not too far away that my daughter and I have been interested in going to for a month now. Parking fees were ridiculous. The cheapest parking was $20 and the highest was $30. I didn't want to pay that. It was only 3 miles away, but Google maps said it would be 1 hour and 10 minutes if we walked there so we took an Uber. All was fine until we wanted to leave. I had the creepiest vibe from the Uber driver dude who showed up. He was old and odd and kept trying to talk to my daughter. She just stared at him silently because she doesn't talk to strangers I got this feeling like he was a pedophile. He drove in the opposite direction than we had to go and I told him that he was going in the wrong direction. He said he was just following the directions that Uber gave him, but he kept making all kinds of turns until we ended up in an industrial part of town. There's no way his GPS could've messed up that bad. I was having major creepy vibes. I had to tell the guy that either he turn around in the other direction or he let us out and we'll call another Uber. He drove 2 more miles out of the way before getting mad and saying that we were going the wrong way, according to his directions. He dropped us off at our home and sat out there for like 5 mins. I closed my blinds and my daughter kept peeking to see if he was still there. I want to leave him 1 star but I'm so paranoid that he'd somehow know it was me, remember where I live, and turn into a creepy stalker.

Dam girl that is giving me anxiety reading that :( Sometimes if I get weird vibes about them ,I'll give them the address either a street over from my actual home or a few houses away so they don't know my actual location (if they did try stalking me). Try that next time you feel an iffy vibe. I swear some of these dam Uber/Lyft male drivers get that job thinking that they can land some free pussy or something *ugh*

Or when a page loads, so I press a button, and that same page updates at the last second - slightly shifting where things are on the page. C'mon bruh. 99% of the SW profiles that I end up on are because the page loaded and I pressed the wrong button. The other 1% is if I've sent a friend request. Now I look like I'm stalking you. Now I'm closing out of pages I was in the middle of reading. Now I'm mad.

Massage clients and the reasons they piss me off, would probably take up this thread on the daily.
I don't want to do that.
So, this will be the last rant.
A new customer contacted me yesterday morning. He wanted me to call him. * Here we go again.::)
He is rambling on, about being an ex soccer coach, getting injured, being paralyzed, etc etc. He's from Trinidad, he's 76 years old,, blah blah blah.
I tell him that I can help him. I give him my rate, and ask what day he wants the appt?
Do you think that's the end of it?
Nooo.
He tells me that he's moving into another unit that day, and will be ready to make the appt next week.
Okay.
I tell him that I've got a fully booked day, and have to run.
Do you think that's the end of it??
Nooo.
He tells me that he wants to cook for me, etc.
I hang up, and he starts rapid texting me throughout the day.
Giving me up to the minute status of his move. To which I never respond.
Omg Dude, STAAAAAAAP!!!:stop:
It would be different if I was alone and lonely.
But, I have to talk to hundreds of freeloaders on cam everyday!!
I can't anymore.
It's time to disconnect from the world for a while until I can regroup.
Edit to add: I replied to his message by just saying " That's great. Let me know when you are ready to make the appt."
He replied, " I'll call you later today."
Nooo!
I tell him I'm working all day, and to just text when he's ready to make the appt.
He texted ok.
Is that the end of it?
Nope.
He messages me, " Should I have all the moving boxes put away? Or?
Omg!
I also got a message time-stamped 2 am, asking for an incall massage. My ad clearly says OUTCALL ONLY!
He says he has company, so I can't go there.
* This ad isn't even for sensual massage. It's for a therapeutic!
So far, it's been only men who reply to the ad.
All wanting a ' fuck or happy ending."
I'm done.

My upstairs neighbors are pissing me off. All was fine at first but they've been annoying for 3 days in a row now. It sounds like they have been rearranging furniture on a daily basis, rolling bowling balls around or have a home bowling alley up there, dropping tools or other objects on the floor, have a pet elephant that enjoys stomping around, and have been putting their phone on vibrate on the floor for some reason so every time someone gets a text it buzzes. The man of the household appears to go to work every morning at 7am but the woman is home, all day and night carrying on with the furniture rearranging and bowling ball activities. She doesn't stop until around 11:30pm-midnight, when the man comes home. These apartments have wood floors and as part of our lease we are required to purchase rugs and put them on the wood floors to reduce noise. There's no way that they have rugs on their floors because I've put my phone on my rug, set it on vibrate mode, and got a text and it didn't make much sound. When I tried it on the bare wood floor, it made a loud sound. I hate to seem like one of those problem complainer types to my new apartment office, but I feel like I need to see if the office can enforce the mandatory rug requirement that is in our lease. I wasn't happy about having to shell out money for rugs but I did it since it said that it was mandatory. I'm thinking that they don't bother to check if all residents have them or not unless they get noise complaints.

Omg, do you live in my old apartment? I used to be in an apartment with wood floors, and I swear I had the same upstairs neighbors. Constant stomping, moving what sounded like furniture, and the fucking rolling a bowling ball sound! Wtf were they doing? As well as the phones vibrating all the time. Especially early morning when their alarm on their phone would do off for 30 solid minutes before they'd turn it off. I hated that place.

I hate when my bf hangs out with this particular friend he's had that I absolutley can't stand. This guy treats him like shit & orders him around. I've tried talking to my bf about it & he doesn't like it either but he still puts up with it ugh. Makes me so sick. I avoid this friend of his bc I know I'll deck his scummy ass within minutes of being in the same room with him.
He's also way too much drama & obviously thrives on it, it's truly disgusting. I know he's chosen to stay in that friendship, but he ends up treating me differently if he's around him too long which I won't tolerate. I've already had a discussion with him about it & why on earth does he want to keep this person around for fucks sake.
For example, this "friend" asked to borrow his card for a hotel thing that didn;t even really involve my bf & even though no damages were done, there was a mini bar charge that occured that supposedly was fraudulent & so it ended up screwing my bf's finances up that month bc the wonderful "friend" didn't even have the decency to give him any money for it since it was his fault it happened in the first place. Ya real friend you got there hunny *eye roll*

omg I JUST finished watching a video on this very subject!
It's a YouTube channel by a girl named Lindsey Hughes.
I came across her by accident, when I was searching people who live in hotels.
I LOVE hotels sooo much!
This one YouTube channel talks about hotel charges total less than his mortgage ($2200) per month.
If anything goes down where I live, I'm going to look into an extended stay, etc.

Yesterday my gf had to cancel an Airbnb reservation at the last minute. We were all supposed to be going to West Palm beach tomorrow to watch her compete in a national championship. Obviously the competition was canceled because of Hurricane Dorian. Anyway I was fully expecting Airbnb to be sheisty about returning our money but to my surprise they refunded her immediately over the phone!
They’re totally a shady/greedy company in general though.
in keeping with the thread, my petty annoyance is that I wasn’t able to get a refund for my cancelled flight with jet blue. The best I could get is a travel voucher. I do have one domestic trip coming up in the next year that I can use it towards, but it will be an annoying waste of time due to layovers that take me in the opposite direction from my destination. Boo-urns!

^ I've noticed that they are charging out the ass for cleaning & adding on service fees which almost makes it more worth it to stay in a motel/hotel coz then you won't deal with anyone except the front desk :)

^this. I never have an Uber or Lyft pick me up or drop me off at my exact address.

You know what, I think for the most part Airbnb's are actually more expensive and/or more trouble
than hotels/motels (some exceptions of course)! Also, they are very booked up usually.
The last airbnb I stayed @, it was nice & all, but right before I went to bed, (& during the alleged 'quiet hr') this B knocks on my door, & tells me not to shut my door all the way after I come back from going to the bathroom?? Cause she's a very light sleeper?::) Bitch, what.>:(
All the airbnb's I've stayed @ had some weird fucking quirk if not that, some other type of thing..again there's exceptions.
I'm seriously thinking of going to a motel, I can't take this fucking place much longer, & it'll be worse in the winter.
The new tenant we have smokes too, as do the couple upstairs, the drunk pig old man, & his girl.

Ya girl I totes agree! It really sux bc Im extremely frugal right now since I have limited funds due to me not working much lately & finding a private room in california under $40 a night is next to impossible. The last few airbnbs I stayed at temporarily was a total shit show for the $25 a night I paid. They usually have THE most ghetto people staying there & they are annoying & gross and cause unneeded drama/stress.
If you have to share a kitchen area type deal , that is a nightmare as well. I had an assclown steal my yummy smoothie last summer before they left while I was sleeping. AirBnb is literally becoming a shit show in itself if looking for a bargain. Between the extra fees & laundry list of rules the hosts try to impose on guests, it's becoming less desirable for myself. Guess it'll have to do in the meantime though :(

So sorry this happened, yikes!

You can use this anywhere in the US. I love it. You put in an addy, & it gives you parking for it, you can filter/sort: nearest, cheapest, etc. I use it when I have to go downtown, & it's gold. It usually gives you a cheaper, longer duration than if you just went to & paid a parking garage. The last time I went downtown, I paid like $10.00 for parking, unheard of, more like 20 for an hour! Sometimes you get up to 12 hrs parking time.
It does guarantee a spot, but not a particular one. You can scan the thing on your phone to open up the gate (if need be) or you can print out the pass. But, the last time I really didn't do either, it takes your license plate. There's also a method if you have a rental.
Also, downtown Chi only (but maybe other places) has this thing where limo drivers shuttle people around (between their other pickups etc). It's very cheap, I've never used it tho.
Also, businesses w/extra parking participate in Spot Hero, so no worries if there's no garages around, I had a Dr's appt w/street only parking, & I used it for that, I was in a indie but larger grocery store lot.
Edit: Of course, depending, you still may have to cab/uber it to/from the spot hero parking, but that time I went downtown, altho @ night, it was a busy area, & lots of doormen were out. No guarantees I know, but it was like a 2 block walk.
Usually I got a close spot, sometimes steps away, again depending on the area.

I keep getting calls and voicemails from this company claiming they're calling to collect what I owe for the accident I was involved in. Now they've switched to using "Unknown number" when they call, as though that I will get me to pick up anymore....
I'm not avoiding them out of refusal to pay, but I just think it's weird that I have not received any sort of physical bill in the mail. I've never been asked to pay a bill without receiving any sort of copy of said bill, laying out the charges, in an official letter. They're probably legit based on the type of message they leave, but I'm not super keen on just handing money to someone over the phone when I've never seen a breakdown of what they expect me to pay or proof that this an official company collecting for something legitimate.

I want to take a nap but bf is coming home for his lunch break soon. I feel like he might get mad or jealous if he comes back and I'm taking a nap since he has to go back to work. I'm trying to stay awake but my body is so tired. "I'm tired because I'm busy growing eyeballs, ears, lungs, kidneys, ovaries, etc" probably wouldn't work on him.

Damn it.
Does " agitated " count as a mood description for the whole week ? :(
I wish I would have left town today. I screwed it up ...... cut a 4 day dancer trip to 3 over my hair ( it is super red now though not the blonde I was bored with ).
Dude I'm seeing won't come over ( I honestly wouldn't either on same day notice most likely so I can't really throw too much of a fit ).
Nieces birthday so he says ( why can't he cut out at 9p.m. I'm thinking ).
Is this enough to just ditch him over ? That is just kind of where my mind goes....... I can feel myself just being a nightmare.
Go with your FIRST instinct on trips !

I know I need to suck it up and do laundry today, but I'm so tired of hauling 3 huge bags to the laundromat. I hate that laundromat.
Also, husband heard from the potential future job today, and they're sending him stuff to re-do his drug screening since it's been so long. They told him that the waiting list is massive. The soonest he might get in for training is November. Otherwise, it might not be until February... I haven't even gotten a phone call, so I'm probably not on the shortlist for this next round, so who fucking knows if/when I'll ever get the call saying I'm up next. This is so annoying. I didn't go job-hunting in May so I could start a new job a fucking YEAR later, if that. I need to spend the day job searching, but I am so unmotivated. I have no idea what to even look for. Another shitty, underpaid EMS job is out. I loathe the idea of food service, but at this point it's probably all I'm qualified for. The most I could probably hope for in an office job is some crappy low-pay starter position/internship where they'll "promise" that I can "work my way up" but never actually do. Fuck the vanilla world.

I went to a different lab for blood work since my incompetent ob/gyn fucked up and gave me someone else's blood test results. I was waiting to hear back from the lab. They just called me to say that I have to come back for a redraw because the phlebotomist accidentally drew my blood into the wrong color tubes. Wtf?! Are you fucking kidding me? You'd think after having to give 7 vials of blood someone somewhere would know how to do their goddamn job. Is Michigan just full of idiots in the medical field or what? I sure seem to be meeting every motherfucking one.
