View Full Version : Feeling pissy today. Petty annoyances, what do you have?

My dad owns a business and I avoid going on his yelp page for this reason. Seeing petty negative reviews would probably send me into an uncontrollable rage. I don't think the average person realizes how hard it is to own your own business, especially when trying to work out the kinks getting it established in its early stages.
Yeah I stay off their Yelp page a lot because it's usually really stupid shit on there... people are so petty and entitled, it's sickening. There was one guy who left 1 star bc apparently there were multiple customers in there, my mom checked with him and he said they were just looking, so she moved on to another customer, and then when he needed her she was helping that customer. He then threw a tantrum on Google Reviews bc "he was there first". Wtf bro?
Unfortunately Yelp is one of those necessary evils now, since a lot of people do check reviews before going somewhere.

My parents are still paying school loans for my sister, who makes 2x as much as me (not exaggerating, I saw her offer letter), is only paying for a 2 year degree to start w/ to my 4 years and lives for free in her boyfriends house. Not to mention a bunch of other shit I've already bitched about on the forum. And my mom won't quit harassing me about getting a boyfriend!! Wtf! I'm the only self sufficient kid out of 4, FFS you'd think that could count for something!!!

I'm annoyed because my daughters dad was suppose to be served child support papers. My lawyer told me they would let me know at the end of the week if he was actually served or not. Guess what they never emailed me to tell me anything...........thanks for keeping me up to date

I don't mind letting body rub customers kiss me on the neck, but seriously why do they feel the need to leave hickeys? Huge ones on top of that, it's particularly frustrating because I find that out after they had already left. Even guys in my personal life never ever leave me hickeys.

Okay, so at work the only hickey I saw was the huge one he left in front but I just got home and with my 360 mirror I just saw not only did this jackass leave a huge one but he left hickeys ALL OVER MY NECK. :eek:I really want to cry right now :frown::crying:
How am I supposed to go to work tomorrow, to the gym, to school, to my date on Monday?! Now I think I know why he kept asking me if I had a boyfriend and said no way you don't have one, then kept insisting. At the end of the session when I said see you again soon! He gave me an awkward "yeeeah"... Probably not gonna come back after THIS, and that was his way of making sure he's remembered.

I'm in the process of watching my club go downhill. It sucks because I've only worked here for 7 months and I really liked it up until mid February, but the customers are increasingly cheap and ghetto, and we are losing all of our gentlemen because of it. I come from a dive and have no desire to go back to that crap, you have to work 10 times harder for less money and everyone just tries to take you home. I'm not sure how long I can handle this club if it keeps going down at this rate. I am probably going to be club shopping soon, but I've gotten so comfortable here.

I confess if I leave tomorrow I hope I can make it back quick. It usually takes me 4-6 weeks to recover from a trip and I've been so busy and not getting any sleep. I already have my condo paid for april ( had since sep because it was booked for march) and I was really comfortable there which is hard for my high maintenance self. But I have to do my taxes and make sure my kitties are ok. I'm so dreading the freaken 8 hour drive. If i could find someone I'd pay them to drive me. I thought of flying but 800 round trip and I'll have no car to do anything. Gonna suck. And I hate leaving on a week I have a high 4 digit night. Like really high.

I've most likely been guilty of this (don't recall, haven't posted here much in the past 2 years), but people on this forum who lurk threads and wait for certain topics to come up because it gives them a chance to talk about the things they're fixated on, like obsessed with. It's annoying to me firstly in how redundant it is (there's only so many times you can watch someone drop the same information, almost verbatim), and then there are times where what they have to say is only loosely related and causes a derail.

Beyond sick of hearing about....
~ Certain people CONSTANTLY whining & bitching about how they can't spend as much $$$ as they used to on bullshit due to them being in "the vanilla world pay" now. Ugh stfu & get over it already, You should've known wtf you were getting yourself into when you quit the adult industry.
~ My loser ex texting & calling me a kazillion times in a day AFTER I've said "It's over, please go away." Get the fucking hint already!
~Neverending stories of these sex workers quitting and giving up their entire independence for a man only to realize that in reality he isn't gonna "solve" their financial problems & that "Mr. Great & Rich" isn't a safety net forever. Bitch wake up, your vag ALSO has an expiration date.

Ugh why dont newbs read the boards before posting.
I feel like its even pointless to reply and tell them to run a search or read through the stickies. We should just not reply and let them figure it out. Theres a wealth of information on these forums but the amount of handholding young people expect is amazing.
Actually I think its just the new generation
Boyfriend's still needs to tell his teenage brother how to take the train and which stations to transfer at. He just started learning his way around new york. How the hell do u grow up in ny without a car and not know public transit. And u have an iphone!
Im sorry but I had that shit figured out in a day and im from LA where no one takes public transit.
Agh dont listen to me im running on 2 hrs of sleep and im just being a crabby old lady. :p

I feel like my generation is so spoiled by the selfish idea of "I'll wait to see what my options are" when it comes to making official plans. I've gotten pretty busy lately. Or, at the very least, my schedule will fill up during the week and it can be sporadic. I tell people that my schedule is flexible and to let me know what would work for them, and if they let me know far enough ahead of time, I will absolutely make the time for them. They will go on the schedule and be locked in. But then they wait another 2 weeks until the day before to contact me.... and then get all indignant that I'm not free to hang out with them anymore and bitch about how I "never have time for them after I initially told them I would be free"....
Well, maybe if you didn't make me your last option because you were waiting to see if better things came along that day... I feel like I'm the one who has the right to be indignant that 1) they clearly don't prioritize making concrete plans with me, and 2) they assume that I have nothing better to do last minute than sit around on my ass waiting for them to finally make up their mind.

I'm starting a business and the reviews scare me. A friend owns a store and some of the reviews I read were cruyel, including that he hates animals and kids. Not true at all.
I'm annoyed today with some on Facebook starting crap. My one ex is obsessed with me and no matter the topic he butts in. He then tells me how wrong I am to reject him. Dude I dumped you when I gave you money to visit me and you spent it on yourself. That was 25 years ago and nope I don't want you now. I am not desperate to date you, especially after 4 marriages and kids.

I could buy another older one cash no problem but I've decided that I deserve a nice new car for once... I think part of the issue was that I've been trying to get financing before I go looking... Apparently dealers don't ask for income verification like banks do, and banks really don't like self employed people in cash businesses.

I learned from my Dad while looking for cars is never buy a brand new car. As soon as you drive it off the car lot it depreciates significantly. People are always trading in a car they just bought for something newer. You can get a better deal if you buy a low mileage 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 car. The car might still have the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty.

The only thing that kept me awake and driving god aweful 9 hours was thinking about loving on my kitties when I got home. They see me and keep running away when I try to get one. My daughter had my door shut so I opened it and they run and hide in there. Fuckers. My little female loves love but my boy finally let me pick him up ( for like 65 seconds.) I didn't have a pet for 4 years but this is a big time for money. I'm leaving again in about 8-10 days. And the house is a mess and my daughter took all the light bulbs out of the lights in the front room so I took hers( I just bought a box and put all new ones in before I left wth). Ugh life!

I only eat it on the way home ffrom M.B each year.

Parents these days are giving their kids just the stupidest fucking names. I think I'll snap if I meet another Brayden, Kayden, Jayden, or Noah. The car names are the worst. Bentley? Camry? Harley? WTF is this shit?
The one thing I always appreciated about my parents was that they put some thought into my name, and made sure it was uncommon enough w/o crossing the "stupid" line. I'll have to thank them for that someday.

I worked with a girl with a prissy name like that. Sadly it fits her to a tee. (Her brother has a similar awful name but he's cool as heck. So I guess it was 5-/50 odds on giving the rich kids names that would help them be likeable lol)

Oh I would never ever in a gazillion years buy a 2016 or even 2015 car. Talk about stupid. I can't believe anyone does that since it's like common knowledge not to. By "new", I guess I meant "newer" lol... I've had a 2004 and a 2001. I'm looking in the 2011-2014 range.
I think Snuffle is talking about the public auctions, police seized vehicles and stuff.

In 2005 after a lifetime of driving used cars I decided to buy a new car and learned something new: it's a hood idea to buy a new car around the time they plan to bring in new cars. So that August I went to a dealer and found a car only driven 80 miles (only driven on test drives). Because they were getting rid of 2005 cars I got it much cheaper. It was the same price as the cheapest model but was the most expensive with all the options. I only cared about automatic windows and air and got those and more. Because it was my first new car I got a discount on that. I had just gotten my Master's a year earlier got a discount for that. My grandpa was a manager for a Ford plant so I got a discount for being a family member. The car I think was around $18,000 and with the discounts it came down to $12,000. Because my credit was good my payments were low. I paid off the car many years ago and still drive it. However when I was dancing I could only get used cars because I couldn't bring in a pay stub.

This is true. In may-july they role out new models. I went to look at an infiniti at volvo and they had gotten the 2015 in. They were 8,000 off sticker and the 13 were an even better deal. Dec is good to shop too as they need to get in their quotas for the prior year.

Yeah, I was astounded how much I saved and what I got. I bought a Focus, and figured I just get the second cheapest model but got the most expensive with all the options and paid the same as if I bought the second cheapest model. My dad came with and had them do additional things too, like having them wash it and put a full tank of gas which they did. The only bad thing was it was the only Focus in stock and was red, but I wanted a red car anyway so this was no biggie.

Pretty sure I'm about to get my period, judging by the food cravings and hormonal-ness of the last couple days.
Confirmed gluten sensitivity to my family. I literally woke up from the violent urge to go to the bathroom so badly that I ran half naked from my room to the bathroom and still wasn't even thoroughly conscious on the pot. It had me feeling nauseous, feverish, and damned near delirious. I felt like I was dying. The moment I flushed, I felt a zillion times better and was able to go back to sleep. This was the result of gorging myself on bread (hormonal fucking cravings) right before going to sleep a few hours before. Until now, my family never believed I had a sensitivity because I'm not diagnosed as having Celiac.
Been watching the hell out of prepper videos and find a dilemma: How am I supposed to find a team for when/if SHTF if I have to keep my "prepping" (I don't really align myself with preppers because so many of them are idiots and/or whack jobs) on the DL? Apparently, there are sects of people defining themselves as "marauders" who purposely currently look for prepping/homesteading groups so they can rob them instead of prepping themselves! What the fuck is wrong with people?!
Lastly, a woman in my area found a cat vaguely matching my missing cat's description. She is a good, decent person who is looking solely for the cat's owner(s) so she is not releasing any sort of identifying details, just location and breed. I sent her info about my cat and a photo, because what better proof of ownership than a photo of the animal in question? Now I'm waiting to hear back from her and I'm terrified that it may not be him.

What are you on? I switched to lexapro and I'm thinking of just switching back to prozac. I lay down to sleep and it feels like I drank 10 cups of coffee. It's good for work because I run around like a crack head i can't it for more than a few minutes) but I need sleep.

Venlafaxine(effexor). I took it before for a couple of years and it helped me but then the longterm insomnia started ruining my life almost as much as being depressed; I stopped for nearly a year but had to go back on, thought a lower dose might be OK but no, still the insomnia.
It's horrible stuff anyway, although it probably saved my life...lots of other side effects too but the several other ADs I've tried aren't much good and I can't face trying more unless I could find someone to consider prescribing a MAOI, very unusual for docs to be open to that now apparently.
The others...'same same but different', even the stupid docs admit it, and admit side effects are something you have to just deal with.
Yeah cos not sleeping and not remembering basic info to string sentences together and not having energy for sex and sweating everywhere make for such great quality of existence.
Sorry for the drawn out ranty reply...it's frustrating.
