We had a family issue to resolve, so we drove out and back as fast as we could. The way Payoneer security works, I'm not really able to work remotely unfortunately. I'm back to work now.
The email issue was strange, about half the people we messaged had their emails kicked back saying the address didn't exist. Most were Yahoo.com but a few were custom domain addresses as well.

If you have DD, are the earnings from the 31st not hitting our accounts until Tuesday? I only have last Wednesdays amount pending currently & I was a bit surprised it wasn't both days.

Thursday's payment should be hitting Monday. Earnings after cutoff on Thursday will go out tomorrow.

If there is anyone seemingly waiting on emails from me concerning MFC, IML, Cam4 or CB, please make sure to check your spam folders and to add
[email protected] to your address book. This seems to be coming up more often(and not just with yahoo addresses), and I want to make sure you are able to get prompt responses to any inquires and your login information (for the sites where the studio has to create your login for you). Thanks!

Hello,
I'm having a problem with Stremamate. I send them the following message from my old account:
" I opened another account through a studio with the email <my email>. I was wondering if I could transfer my favorites over to the new account and close this one."
This is the response they sent me:
"Thank you for your email address.
I do not see an account associated with <my email>. I do, however, see a valid and active account with the email you are corresponding from.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist with."
I opened up my new account, the one you created, and sent them this message:
"I contacted you earlier today from my other account PumpkinSpiceBread. I would like to transfer the favorites from that account to this account and then close that account."
They responded with this:
"Unfortunately, you are not allowed to simply 'switch' accounts. Accounts within studios are protected and cannot just close and open up elsewhere. In order to create a new account you will need to contact your studio manager to have them RELEASE and CLOSE the account with them. Your account with nick: PumpkinSpiceBread is still active, please continue to use moving forward.
If this is not an option, we can close the account for you, however there will be a 6 month waiting period to have a new account approved.

I don't know what to do now.

I bugged Kate here on this forum on how to do the switch and followed her instructions exactly. It worked for me.

With frustrating lack of support from both Streamate AND Boleyn I'm starting to think this isn't a studio worth spending my time on.
We're sorry about that. Once in a while emails get buried in the pile if we look the other way for more than 3 minutes. The best thing for immediate support is to use the Skype contact - we're chained to our computers about 18 hours a day. Follow-up emails every 24 hours also can work.
As for switching over, inside the BoleynModels dashboard are the website signups. Putting in an application will give us the info we need to figure out your situation with a given site and follow the appropriate procedure. We can also walk you through it on Skype and answer your questions.
Having 2 open accounts on SM at the same time causes them to have a logic breakdown, similar to dividing by zero. For them to approve a new account (and do any actions with that), the first step is to have them close the old account. We have no powers to deal with SM on your behalf if you're not in our studio.

One other note...floodgates are open on 1099's. Our business is all about impatience, so this is part of the package :)
Until the end of this week, we'll be handing them out as you ask for them during business hours. Send an email or Skype us - response time should be a few minutes during the working day.
Anyone that has to wait anyways, we'll be emailing them next week throughout the week.
If your email bounces, we'll physically mail them by the (updated) January 30th deadline.
If anything is incorrect, you have until February 15th to request a correction before we submit to the IRS. We can technically correct them after that, but things get very complicated.
E.U. bb's that need us to make a specific contract with you for VAT exemption (if applicable to your country's tax laws), please let us know. Some countries this won't apply at all, but may be useful for others.

I know that Jan 18 is a banking holiday but I thought that earnings from Thursday night, 1.14 would have hit direct deposit by Friday/ sat early AM.. Is this not correct? Is seems like I've had earnings I made on a Thursday night post to my direct deposit before Saturday.
Are earnings made on a Thursday no longer received until the following Monday? I know that earnings from Friday through Sunday are put in on a Monday but does that now include Thursdays? It seems I only get 3 days of direct deposits anymore....Monday. Tues and Wed.

In a normal week, you should certainly get 5 days of direct deposit.
If you earned it at night, it goes out the next day we can make the deposit.
ACH collects all transfer requests from all banks at about 4pm CST...that's our max cutoff to have your request in (ie, make a payment to you). Then your payments are re-distributed just after midnight and given to your bank. Most banks will then post them on their next business day. If you only ever receive payments 3 days a week, its your bank sitting on them.
If you bank with WF, it doesn't go through ACH. The payment is still cut off at 4pm, but they distribute it back to you around 8pm that same night. This includes before the weekend.

I just wanted to say if your thinking about signing up with Katy and BoleynModels Do it!! There great ppl to trust with your money been with them almost a whole year (March) and I've never had any missed payments whenever I needed my money I had it right away. Emails and questions always answered. You hear about how you can't trust everyone who handles your funds in this type of business but you can trust them and I'm sure all the other girls will back me up and agree with everything I said

Just a quick note to everyone:
Comcast died. We had to scramble in town for an emergency hotspot and I got it just in time to make direct deposit payments. However, not all websites were updated into the system (I had about 30 minutes to do 6 hours of work - on the backup laptop), but most major websites were and the effect should be minor. Any missing funds will be on the next payment.
Payoneer payments won't work until Comcast gets their act together, estimated time is now around 7pm CST.
As for multitude of emails and Skype messages, we'll get back to them as quickly as possible tonight and tomorrow. Not happy with Comcast right now for basically missing an entire day of work for hubby and I, but "it" happens.
Will my earnings from Friday (tomorrow) be in my bank account on Monday or Tuesday? Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, I have some bills due on Monday and I may need to budget over the weekend if we don't receive those funds till Tuesday. Thanks in advance ladies!
Friday earnings before 2-3pm CST cutoff will go out Friday and arrive Monday (or Friday night with WF). We make one Payoneer payment per day over weekends, generally mid-morning.

Update: Comcast just updated their estimate to 9pm CST. I'll be ready to make Payoneer payments as soon as its fixed, but at this point it could be tomorrow morning.

If you want the daily pay through us, you'll need to contact us to remake your account. Its easier than starting the account and switching later.

For the first time ever I opened this thread to read through it a bit. Started on page 1 but didnt read all 50 pages. I have never needed daily pay and so I never really cared about your studio but I have to say after reading through I am seriously impressed Katy! You guys are above board and for those models that benefit from daily pay you must be a life saver! I have signed up a couple of girls in the past with SM or some other sites and now I wish I had known more about your program because they would have probably preferred DP given their financial situations.
I will keep this all in mind going forward in the future but hats off to you guys for running a studio that actually is a positive in this industry and not the usual money vampires we are so used to seeing out there.

I have never needed daily pay and so I never really cared about your studio but I have to say after reading through I am seriously impressed Katy!
I don't really need daily pay, either, but I've found that it's really nice and useful for a few other reasons:
1) On some sites, she has negotiated a higher % than you would be able to get as a solo model.
2) If you have a site that is just a small egg in your basket, you might normally have to wait ages to make payout and get your money, but with Katy you'll get whatever you make asap, because she adds together all your Boleyn sites and has a very modest payout threshold.
3) It's really nice, especially for US models, if you have a site with undesirable payout options. In most cases, I won't work on a site at all if I can't get direct deposit (I don't have a payoneer card and don't want one), so Katy opens the door for me to comfortably work sites that I wouldn't have considered otherwise. I love having my cash in the bank!
4) If you work a dozen, or even half a dozen sites, it can be very troublesome to keep track of which site owes you how much and when you're supposed to receive it, and then double check that you're getting paid correctly from all of them, especially if many of them have different pay period cut off times. Not to mention that you're on your own to do battle if one of your sites screws up your payment. Katy really simplifies all that!
5) This is the reason I initially started with Katy. I wanted to try out a site that was relatively new and didn't yet have a strong reputation for being reliable. I was worried that I would get screwed if the site died or ran off with the money. However, under Katy's studio, I felt quite confident that if disaster happened, she would do her damnedest to get her models their money. She has more knowledge and resources to fight for that than I do on my own, so at least the chances are better with her. I'm sure she's aware of this type of risk and has vetted the sites as well as she can, so that makes me feel more secure, too.
As soon as she adds AW to the list, I will transfer my AW account to Boleyn Models for reasons 2 and 3 (their threshold for getting a check is fairly high, and the payment options for US models are all kind of shitty). I love AW, but I tend to avoid it because getting paid is a PITA, so I'm looking forward to that.
I'm considering switching to daily pay on SM, too. It used to be my bread and butter, so the thought of losing the 5% commission really hurt. Now that I do a lot more indy camming, SM isn't such a large egg in my basket, and it might be easier for me if it just got lumped in with the rest of my Boleyn sites. I really dislike SM's odd cutoff times, and daily pay is so convenient that it's almost addictive!

Just wanted to pop in and say this is the absolute last minute to receive your 1099 electronically. Tomorrow they get processed for mailing and then we wrap that up for the year.
We have a new web tech that will be doing some work over the next weeks. We're also compiling a short list for sites we'll be adding over the next 6 months or so - our goal is to add 1 per month starting in February. Rae will be getting some more hours as well as another account manager/concierge (who is free to introduce herself when ready) so we can manage this.

Sometime over the summer, I had to close my bank account and open a new one due to suspicious activity on my account (seems like I have problems with this bank every 6 months). Since I wasn't camming at that time, I don't think I ever gave you guys my new bank account info. So I'm gonna do that now.

Whenever you send us new bank info, I actually prefer it by email. Sometimes when you update the payment info on the website it doesn't inform me.
Also let us know to either hold the funds until the new account is ready to go (still takes 3 business days), or keep paying to the old one.

I sent you an email. I'm currently with MFC & I know that I would have to make a new account under you guys. So, if I do will my current earnings be transferredto my new account?? & are there any fees with you guys? .. I'm interested in daily/ instant pay

So today the UK guy who runs the other daily pay studio said he is now able to transfer a profile without making a new account. Any chance of this happening with your studio soon?

They did start transferring more than favorites to some of the newer accounts (ratings and placement seemed to be exactly what the old account was), so it seemed like there might have been a change in policy recently which is why we asked.

SM has a long and storied history with the easy transfer thing, culminating in a model that caused a massive nightmare for them (not sure the whole story) regarding funds she had on her account, so that was done away with over a year ago. Basically in their system, they can't just give the previous funds to the studio, but they also lose the ability to pay the model normally those previous funds. The result is a blanket rule that it must be technically a different account, which keeps their accounting department happier.
Just in the last few weeks we did notice that there was more transferring than just favorites on some new accounts, but until we get some kind of confirmation you still need to make a new account to restart in any studio.

Are you referring to MFC or SM?

Its the same basic policy with both. MFC is a bit more tricky for re-opening an account and can only do so in extremely narrow cases. They have an issue with "resetting camscore abuse". We also got a little burned on their policy when that other guy was (erroneously) telling models to use him to avoid paying taxes (turning IRS attention to his American partners) and issuing scary fatwas on his models, so more restrictions and blanket rules for us, yay. Its liveable though.

Can you disclose the name of the bank? There are some in Eastern Canada that aren't in Western Canada, and vice versa.

Depends totally on the website. The rule of thumb is as easy as it was to transfer in, its the same process to transfer out. We also give them any releases necessary for you to start work immediately.
I'm trying to fill the form out right now but not sure what options I should choose since I have an account with them but it has not yet been activated. The options I have to choose from:

You are ready to work...the path is clear! As a general rule though we try to keep account-specific things going in our private support channels (email and Skype) and try not to put them out in the open. If its a more general issue or policy question that we can clarify for many people, then the forums are a good place.

Thanks Katy.. So for instance, if I were able to work over the weekend my payment would be available in my account the following week on Monday or if I had payment from shows Monday, I would receive my funds the following day Tuesday in my account?

Anything (from all websites) before 2pm CST cutoff goes out that same business day (M-F). It arrives the next business day(M-F), generally early morning. We make the payment if the total is over $12 for direct deposit.
It takes 3 business days to set up a NEW direct deposit account with us.
