Hi Kate, Are you planning on offering a referral program in the future? I know PJ had one at one point. Not sure if he has one anymore. I was just curious. :) lol he never once paid me.... go fig

Well, I laid out a few options for this and I can run a very mean Excel spreadsheet, so no awards would get lost if I do implement a program like this.

you are amazing. i just signed up to switch my sm account over. i am so grateful you are offering optional instant pay + free direct deposit.

are there any plans to add cams.com or clips4sale in the future?

I didn't see where this was answered. Do you have any plans to work with c4s? I know you must have a lot on your plate right now but that would be amazing. That once a month payout annoys the hell out of me. Especially since I do relatively well selling my stuff there.

KatyBoleyn
01-12-2014, 12:11 PM
c4s would be cool, but the logistics of doing it would be incredible and really up our work load to process everything properly. Every model would need to be able to create multiple personal studios and we would need to track all income from each. I'm getting a firm picture in my head of how it could be done on our end, but it would be a lot more work for just a small return. We'd have to take a bigger margin to compensate, and then I don't know if it would be worth it for the models.

I'll put it on the list after I work out MFC and iFriends.

Thanks for the response. I know that a previous service worked with C4S but then suddenly had to drop American Producers. But they are allowed to process payouts for International Producers, I believe still? I understand it would be more work especially when you are still a startup. Good Luck with everything.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate all of the work that Katy has put into Boleyn models. Having been a bit under the weather the last week and not being able to cam much, I am so happy that I have the option of InstantPay, otherwise I would probably be having a panic attack about bills right now lol. Also your snazzy email to all of us was great. Thanks for always keeping us in the loop with everything going on :-)

My first experience with instantPay has been a truly amazing one. I worked five hours last night, sent an email for my pay when I was done, and it was in my bank account by 10am*.

*Results may vary, but this is awesome.

A remarkable service that every Camgirl should consider, given the difficult dynamics of our work.

We're now in our 3rd week of operation and we have most of the bugs squished with the system.

A few notes (and the website will catch up):

{Our program has changed considerably in the years since this was posted. Please see the top post or our website for current info.}

Happy Camming!

I just wanted to let everyone know that signing up on a cam site with Boleyn Models was the fastest, smoothest signups I've ever experienced thanks to Katy, and that is even with that particular site acting screwy at the time of sign up. I definitely encourage anyone who could use a service like this to sign up. I'm very thankful I did!

BUMP! Im not sure how long it will take to leave Daily Pay and get into this studio so I have rent and my bills covered as of yesterday and want to work a couple more days as a safety cash net in case there is any delay in the process. Any advice on doing this is welcome. I want to keep my sm account rather than start fresh. I may just wait til next monday so I can get my weekend earnings faster. Im just worried I will have to wait a week to get a check from sm while Im between studios.

no more payoneer??

KatyBoleyn
01-20-2014, 03:27 PM
We're "grandmothering" in everyone that signed up for Payoneer. After this weeks issues with them, no more Payoneer signups until/if we get partnership with them.

We're waiting on our Redpass deposit to come back before Paxum gets gets funded, though we may commit reserve funds to this instead if it takes much longer. For now we're pushing direct deposit, as my bank is about the only entity involved in this whole business which is running like clockwork.

Hey Katy! I was wondering if you would mind discussing getting me out of a streamate studio and into yours? I emailed you previously about this sort of...except at the time I didn't have all relevant details (and sm never responded to my email asking them about my info). I found out that I signed up for camrjobs - a studio for sm last year in early march and only streamed for a total of 12 minutes then. I have not streamed on there since then, nor have I used the site. Back in March or April I had sent the studio an email asking for my account removed which I received no response from...I should have followed up but I didn't so I know that's my bad - but I did find out a few days ago that I still have an account through their studio and would really like to work streamate but don't like the idea of only getting 20-25% through them since they don't offer anything else that makes their studio worth my while. If you don't mind, can we discuss this via pm or email?

Pro-tip: If you want to leave an SM studio, do not email the studio. You need to contact [email protected] and simply ask them to close your account.

Unless you have a really good relationship with a studio, they are under no obligation and it is against their interests to make the effort of emailing SM and freeing up your identity to be re-used. More likely, they will just hit the "deactivate" button on their list for your account and fuggetaboutit. You will still need to close that account yourself. If you warn them you are leaving, they can do things like withhold your final paycheck or inactivate your account which takes a lot more back and forth with tech support to straighten out later.

Bump. An awesome service such as this one deserves a first-page position, especially for newer models to see. Keep up the great work Katy, hope we're not bringing you down too much. :)

Edit:

I DO have a question. Because I can't think, and I can't math to save my life. Say you want to instantpay $100. This correlates to $350 customer spending for a regular SM model. On the boleynmodels site it says that commission is 5% customer spending. Would this mean that instant pay commission is $17.50 of $350, or $5 of $100?

Edit again:

Which is... the same thing. o.O I'm telling you guys, I'm terrible with math. Is this right?

RaeRae
01-23-2014, 11:21 PM
According to my math you would receive 85.71~ if you did Instapay instead of normal commission on $100. You made $100 normally so 100/.35 gives the total the customer spent(285.714...), and you would then get 30% versus 35 meaning 285.714*.3= 85.714... if I'm not mistaken.

You would need to make 116.666... to instapay out 100. 100/.3 to give the total the custie spent (333.333~) and then multiply that by .35 to see what you would have normally made.

I hope my math skills aren't failing me now.

Pearl_Sugar
01-23-2014, 11:41 PM
Oh god, if that's the case, I've been mathing wrong the entire year+5 I've been a camgirl. I could have sworn that a customer had to spend $350 to make $100.

KatyBoleyn
01-23-2014, 11:46 PM
That looks about right. The formulas go by 1/7's, 6/7's and 7/6's in the database for SM. Its hard to juggle 2 or 3 different "types" of percentage, as its very easy to cross apples and oranges. I tried to match exactly how other programs are going, but again this is only for when you need it. Everything you don't request goes out at the full 35%. Cutting a check or deposit when the SM/CB/IMLive check shows up is trivially easy, so I'm not worried about weekly pay.

At 35% the custie would need to spend $285
At 30% the custie would need to spend $333
At 20% the custie would need to spend $500

^^Here's an easy formula for figuring out how much the customer pays:

You made $100, which I assume is 35% of what the customer paid. (You're solving for what 100% is) Cross multiply and divide.

It won't allow me to line things up correctly, so I'll just write out the formula.

$100 x 100 = 10000 / 35 = $285.71

You multiply the amount you made by 100 (%) then divide by the percentage you're earning (%), and the total is the amount the customer paid.

A few announcements (27 Jan):

MyFreeCams - We now have a studio with MFC. This is under the condition that ONLY NEW MODELS sign with us. Existing or past MFC models are strictly not eligible, unfortunately, and MFC support was quite adamant that bad things will happen to model accounts that try to cheat the system. If you've never tried MFC before (Chaturbaters?) then now is the time. Girls only, no couples. Identical contract conditions as our CB models for token payouts.

Clips4Sale - We were very successful in getting C4S to partner with us after a pleasant phone conversation. While we get the logistics ironed out, we are accepting test cases on a first come, first serve basis. Email [email protected] if you are interested. We can create a new studio for you or you can have a studio(s) transferred over through a short process.

Payoneer - We've backed off doing private loads, and this is no longer a listed option for new signups except by special request or circumstances. We have hit our income requirements for partnership in the last 2 weeks, and in 2 more weeks we should have a case for this with them. Hopefully their partnership system runs more smoothly than the private load system.

{Our program has changed considerably in the years since this was posted. Please see the top post or our website for current info.}

Congrats to two of our models (who shall remain nameless), one for clocking nearly 40 hours on SM/IMlive this week combined (big A for work ethic) and another for being the overall top SM earner over this last weekend. Awesome job!

Happy camming!

Katy, I just wanted to say thank you for getting me set up on SM. Now that I have a new account there, I am back to making good money. I believe you also set me up on CB, correct? Katy, if I may recommend, rent isn't generally considered late until around the third of the month. I know you'll be extra diligent with getting instant pays out, but I'm probably going to be one of those people needing a ton of them before the sixth, rofl. You're doing amazing, I hope we aren't putting too much of a damper on your income. :)

Yes, its the same program. The "Daily Pay" effect is just when you tell us you want instantpay on automatic. Turn it on and off as you wish.

No, my placement was not affected since I joined the studio last week. In fact, it's been going back up to where it used to be to the top two rows. It had really fallen when I took a full-time job and had to drastically lower my time on cam. I attribute that to me being more diligent about getting lots of 5 star ratings and keeping my percent in paid high. You'll be fine bb.

It did not affect mine, neither. My placement tanked before I even joined the studio. Its just SM being a dumbass past a month.

Damn, I have no reason to need to be in this studio as I am fortunate enough to have backup income so the timing of payments isn't a big deal to me... But I've been seriously considering joining just because it seems like such a fun group! I may just join so that I can be part of the "family". I think this stuff is great for motivation! :D

Actually I think I've made my decision. I'm gonna transfer my SM account, and join IMlive through y'all. I like the extra benefits and it is nice to have the option for instant pay if needed. Also you pay direct deposit and I usually get SM payment via check so that would be nice. (I don't have nor want payoneer)

Looking forward to working with you!

I have the top 3 for the Valentines Day Contest...since the afternoon is almost over.

1. M************ with 2890 points
2. D************ with 1610 points
3. C************ with 1443 points

There were a few more that came very close to the last score, within about 50 points. If you worked your butt off, you know who you are on the scoreboard.

No credit has been given yet for referrals, though we have some processing, so next week will be a very close race.

If anyone wants to claim credit for the score, PM me and I'll put your SW or SM name as you prefer.

(This is prob unneccessary to point out, but just something to consider from some previous comments re: rent & it's due date)

In addition to the already stated consideration of late payment of generally 3-5 days after the first, this is not always the case. I had a landlord who required rent of the 22nd of the month. And another who had the due date fall 5-7 days before the 1st of the month, so that she would get to consider lateness anytime after the 1st.

Details like this are required to be stated in writing on the lease, so....always good to check it out before signing it so there is clarity to the actual dates of the grace period.
I guess what I'm saying is that it's totally awesome that you've factored the realities of life and that it is generally true that 5 days after due date is late, there are always exceptions to the norm that could pop up regardless.
BUT, to echo others, thank you for taking on such a rad amount of consideration for camgirls needs/wants/suggestions/rants/etc.

I have a question, if I sign up thru your studio, will I still get 1099's from Streamate, or from Boleyn Models? Also, if I close out my current SM account that I have not used since may of last year, will I get new girl status again or not anymore?

KatyBoleyn
02-09-2014, 02:51 PM
1099's are issued by us for whatever money we paid you (over $600). In your case, it would be all of it for this tax year since you haven't worked directly on SM yet this year.

Yes, opening a new account you will get new model status.

@MellyMay Good points! In our case, every house/apartment we've ever rented in the last 8 years, the rent was due exactly on the 1st of the month. There was usually some penalty or harassment if you missed it, and an exception if the 1st ever fell on a Sunday.
