^^OMFG!! I really hope my bank is going to be on deadline for this!

Although, since phase one is only for banks receiving funds, does that actually mean anything for us? While my bank may have a policy of receiving funds on the same day, until next year, your bank isn't under any obligation to send the fund on the same day. Right?

This was passed along to us by our local bank, they're really on top of it. I'll have to get with WF to see what their implementation plan is though. If they're slow adapters, we may need to switch back to our backup bank to take advantage of everything. You have no idea what that will mean to my work day if I can get all the payments done by 10am, you get your money by 11am, and I can spend the rest of the day actually doing cool things with the business. Right now we wanted to make sure everyone is paid as quick as possible as much as possible, but that means different times for different payment types and I'm basically trapped at my desk for 8-10 hours a day.

Re: logo design contest. As someone who has previously worked as a graphic designer, both salaried and freelance, I would never participate in something like this, for reasons similar to why I don't provide camming clients with freebie sample flashes. It's spec work, and it's unethical. I don't fault most people who participate in spec work from either side (either asking for it, or as the person doing the work), because superficially it seems like a fun idea and it's been done so often. Neither side has usually considered the deeper implications, so here's some reading: http://justcreative.com/2009/08/12/the-pros-and-cons-of-spec-work/

Deeper implications is that we have paid in the past based on "portfolios". We've probably sunk almost $2000 investing in basically garbage...a lot more if you count last year's website fiasco. This will be our 6th or 7th attempt to get a real logo. Also, for those submitting spec work, we have always paid them a token fee, far in excess of the hourly rate used to create it, whether we actually used it or not (and this "contest" is no different). Saying this explicitly, however, is a lot like saying you'll pay hourly - you do get a lot of lazy submissions from people looking for handouts in addition to those honestly willing to work. Some would see it as a nice consolation prize if they weren't selected, but honestly its already been built into our cost of doing business.

People that do work should be treated fairly and get paid for it. We've always done this. We do carefully consider the implications of who benefits with our models and structure things (or simply don't do them) accordingly.

If you've paid a fee for pitches in the past, that's fair, and is not spec work. If you're saying you plan to do the same for this contest, I support that, but not stating so explicitly in that case made it appear to be something it was not (something that I've always been very much against, and that many other designers feel strongly about). I still don't think it's likely to be an effective way to go about things, but I'm less uncomfortable about it, so thank you for clarifying.

also, I've emailed you and still haven't received a newsletter. kinda bummed.

When you place in SM contests, those winnings are added to your BoleynModels account as soon as we see them in our pay adjustments - generally the first day after the contest but last time I think they took an extra day to compile them for studios. We pay those out at 100%.

Email is in the mail.

Hey ya'll In the next two days Im gonna give a Q&A on Periscope. We're gonna talk about social media, branding, networking, etc. Mostly on how to use platforms like Twitter,Instagram and Periscope to increase your visibility and eventually your profits. Also I'm gonna show you some fun apps to use on your mobile devices. I swear to you when I say you can market yourself from ANYWHERE. I'm gonna show you how to run a business directly from your pocket. It's really that easy and fun. However if you want to know the date and time of the Q&A you're gonna have to follow BM at www.twitter.com/boleynmodels or www.instagram.com/boleynmodels You guys can make suggestions here in regards to the time of day. This way I can get a general consensus on what times are best. I was thinking 2pm est. Not too early for West Coast and not too late for Non-Westerners. If you're in Australia or New Zealand I'm so sorry. :)

Also you can still send me an email if you're a BM who loves the idea of additional promo. You can never have too much of that stuff to be honest. Remember somedays all it takes is ONE person to help you hit that goal. And that one person may come from a single tweet and click he's yours! Just like that. Right now I have a handful of amazing cammers and it's going well. We could definitely use more and please ya'll don't be shy. Each and every person that contacts me will get promoted. Camming is for everyone. And I get a ton of questions on Instagram about who the models are. Or shall I say some salacious comments about the models. Either way you look at it, the post are being viewed and well received. Because I watermark the pics and tag the models that's traffic going to their social media accounts. So if you like the idea of more money in your pockets, then please follow @BoleynModels and send an email to [email protected]

^2pm est is great for me personally :) Now to figure out how to use Periscope!

Magical_Hoohah
07-20-2016, 12:19 PM
^Don't worry, it's a really simple app, especially if you're just going to watch someone else broadcasting. If you follow someone, the phone makes a ridiculously loud whistling noise when they are live. Also, I've been trying to watch other people's first broadcasts in order to get up the courage to do my own, and the first time seems to be universally goofy. Pretty much every single one seems to start with "Is it working? Wait, how do I switch to the front camera?" LOL! I'm sure mine will be no different.

@PGD!!! I'm really excited about your Q&A! I can work with 2pm est, but since you asked for suggestions, I'd rather have it at 2:30 or 3pm est if it's going to be on Thursday.

Good morning! Sorry about being a creepy lurker for so long. I'm bad like that. I see Customs4U on the 'Coming Soon' list, do you think once that gets up and running transfers will be allowed? I want to sign up but if they won't accept transfers I will totally hold off. BM is a lifesaver some days, so anything I can get on there, I will take! Thank you! :)

Yes, you need to be verified.

I submitted my FL driver's license instead of passport... do you think that will be denied? I don't want to hold up the process anymore than necessary. I read on some of the threads that AdultWork verification can be difficult. The AW website is kind of hard for me to navigate though, hoping I will get used to it over time.

Edit: Sorry not trying to derail this thread, I'm under Katy's studio as well and hoping to split SM & AW.

Oh crap. Well I registered directly through AW. I did speak with Simber @ BM prior to registering though because my email address needed to be cleared from AW because I had an old account with them that got deactivated. I should hear back in another 24 hours or so if their timing is correct. I'll let you know! I'm going to have to read through the entire AW thread because that site confuses me so much and I haven't even started yet lol.

Sorry about late responses...we finally bit the bullet around here and did the Windows10 upgrade last night for everyone, so I barely had time to get up and running at full speed for payments today.

Getting approved on AW through us is no different than their site. We didn't go the "Sweetkick" racket route, so yes, you will need a passport. If you don't have one, its not the end of the world as we have several other SM splitcam sites that will make more or less the same side income. The best thing for AW is to make your independent account, get fully verified to cam, and then transfer into our group there. In that case we just need your name and password and everything is up and running from the first minute.

Just a short announcement that our site will be down over the weekend as we port it over to a different hosting service. Hostgator was good to us while we were small, but we're testing some new features in the background and realized the servers were just too slow to handle some of the upcoming cool things - even with the best package. That, and their email solution with Gmail was not working out at all.

If you feel absolutely compelled to sign up with us or add a new website over the weekend, please email us and we can simply send you a list of what you need to send back and we'll take care of you.

Payments and email are not effected by this.

Please make sure you fill out your personal and finance info again to make sure we have the latest information and you'll be good to go.

We're having email issues that will hopefully be resolved soon. Gmail doesn't let you send out more than 100 "mass" emails a day, which means no newsletters or information can get out. Today we resolved part of that by switching our hosting (with email soon to follow) so we can actually send out things. Early this week we'll also figure out how to get blog items and newsletters on our site as well.

Okay, phew. I had a spam filter ish on my end where I discovered emails from custom video guys were getting snagged, so I thought it might have been hidden in there. I guess I should put slightly more effort into keeping up with what is going on, but...lazy.

If you could send us a Skype message so we know who you are. If it was about newsletters (we got 2 of those last night), they're up on the site now so you can read them easily.

If it was about another issue, please send us a Skype message or resend the email. I got through about 40 emails today from the weekend (and hubby got a few others), so its also probably still in the queue.

We've added a little better menu navigation to our site.

New sites are up to try:

ChatGF and TubeCamgirl - One signup, 100% site rates for daily pay. ChatGF is a European-based boutique site with small but spendy clientele. TubeCamgirl does not actually have anything to do with tubesites - just an unfortunate name choice...powered by SkyPrivate plugin with 50% payout from their traffic or 80% payout with your traffic. This is a beta test, feedback is appreciated if you try these out.

MyFetishLive - They ARE using recorded shows to generate tubesite traffic but you can opt out. Form is fixed (was disappeared for a while for some reason).

CamContacts - Form is up and running.

We are looking for and paying for the following to juice our site a bit:

Model Photos
- Must be high quality, preferably in sets of 3 as follows
- Site width (wide photo)
- Squared body shot
- Squared face shot
- Do not overly crop, leave us some background to work with.
- Give us the link and screen name you would like us to embed with the photo, if you want to use your .cammodels or other affiliate link.
- Paying $100+ if used on our site.
- Our goal is to replace the cheesy college girl stock photos with real cammodels (with a good variety of shapes/sizes/colors/ages), but keep the same professional quality on the site.

Blog Articles
- Do NOT submit to us a full article. We will get back to you if the pitch is interesting.
- We will have a form on our dashboard for what we need.
- Paying $100-$200 depending on length and multimedia included if selected.
- Final word count should be 500-1500 words, contain some media content (pictures/videos), and be SEO and copyright friendly.
- (if the above sounds like a lot, consider that a lot of Stripperweb posts here run to over 2500 words easily without some models even trying)
- Exact wording needs to be exclusive to avoid "duplicate content" violations, but you can let us have a summary (or full article) and you can have an alternate summary (or full article) on your site. Content itself is not exclusive.
- Subjects: Cammodel industry, hints and tips, fetish work, "life hacks" for living on a budget, tech reviews and setups, etc. Can be basic to advanced.
- Form is up: https://boleynmodels.com/become-paid-contributor/

About that...

We're about 2-3 weeks behind schedule (of course!) and now Hostgator gave us a nice parting shot as we transferred everything off their servers...they won't release our domain until the maximum time (7 days). So basically our site is still up...just not with our domain name. And with no mass email ability to let everyone know, this will be a small fiasco.

BoleynModels is temporarily at www.cammodelpayments.com until this blows over.

Payments are working fine, we didn't go anywhere.

So if I understand your service correctly as long as the combined total from camsites is a 100 payout is reached? I'm not really interested in the daily pay part, it could be monthly for all I care I just have some sites where it's slow so I don't want to log in if I don't think there's a chance of me reaching payout but on the other hand I don't want to sit like a box of rocks on Streamate either lol. Plus I've been looking into some new sites as well. Can I join for some sites but not all? What about clip sites? I have 67 on AmateurPorn.com after a year and a half lol. I don't want to wait another year and a half to reach payout :D.

I don't know anything about a payout minimum of $100, but I'm on Cams daily pay and ImLive daily pay, and the minimum has been $20 for me.

And you definitely don't have to join ALL of the sites on the daily pay service. You could sign up for just one if you want, or as many as you want.

Not sure about the $100, but across all sites worked with us combined, $20 is the minimum for Payoneer! For direct deposit, it's as low as $12, and for Paxum it's $40 last time I checked in with Katy about it.

We're still working on restoring full functionality to the site.

In the meantime, [email protected] still works for an email address. No new signups via forms for about 2 more days, but we can handle regular support at that email for most anything. We can also do some site signups directly if you contact us via skype or email.

KatyBoleyn

We -hope/think/pray- that its all fixed now. Forms should go through normally.

The site had to be restored from a backup made about 3 days ago, so if you signed up for anything that we didn't already process, you may need to do it again.

Login, account creation, and forms should all work and the security certificate is properly in place. Let us know if you have any issues.

How are chargeback handled on here? Is the amount just subtracted from the following payment?

KatyBoleyn
08-13-2016, 03:13 PM
Generally yes. If its something we can fight, we hold off and fight it. If not, then it comes from the next payment.

One sometimes confusing thing is that you have one payment account with us, and the cb will put that into the negative, so if/when it does come out it comes out of the total funds.
