I Absolutley refuse to join Veem and pay an extra fee in order to get paid.
https://www.lni.wa.gov/workers-rights/wages/getting-paid/
Employers have many options to pay employees – by check, cash, direct deposit, or even pre-paid payroll or debit cards, as long as there is no cost to the employee to access their wages.
We pay the fee for regular speed direct deposit with full understanding and compliance with applicable laws.
Note that if you just want the regular direct deposit, it is FREE to you and takes just a few minutes to sign up to receive your payments. This was made clear in both the FAQ and email that was sent out.
If you don't want to work with 3rd-party systems, then we aren't for you at this time. Direct payments to models from a US bank has become an unacceptable risk. We understand people feel frustrated, we appreciate those working with us, and we've barely slept making sure this transition goes as best it can.

Sam you don't have to join Veem or any other banking platform. You have a choice and can leave at anytime. It sucks that things are always changing and not always in our favor, but no one here is trying to f*CK you over. We're ALL getting fucked right now. The best thing is to stay calm and try not to eat our own because that's not gonna be helpful in the long run. Please take a minute and think about that. ❤️

but with that being said if you use a stable coin that is backed by USD it takes the volatility away so in reality you are just passing around a dollar coin that is just linked to the exchanges and at any point in time you can convert that to just plain usd and send to your bank or IÂ’ve paid my rent gas groceries all that you just have to convert to cash/usd within the exchange
Absolutely! I have my custom clients pay with USDC--it's tied to USD, so there is no volatility to be concerned about, and even the tax implications are removed, since capital gain or loss is ruled out.
I rarely pay any fees to convert or move crypto. Actually, if I keep a balance on my Coinbase account, they pay me 4% cashback when I use my card. I've used that card to pay rent many times.
USD doesn't really exist to any greater extent than crypto. It's all imaginary.

Sorry to hijack this thread but it's sort of relevant with these events we are facing (we may have to find a way to exist without mainstream banking eventually if we want to work in adult) - what card are you referring to, and how do you pay rent with it, if you don't mind explaining? Is it linked with a regular bank?

Yes, that 4% cashback is amazing. I love watching the total amount back grow :) All that money I would have never seen!

There should be a crypto thread :) The adult industry brought the internet mainstream and I say it'll do the same for crypto. Considering banks/gov wants to keep messing with peoples money. People will find a way to get their money.
To BM: Idk what stripchat/skypvt or any others that pay out in in crypto use to do so. It is just a 2 part selection (currency selection and currency address) with nothing mention how they pay out/what they use. Not sure if anyone else on this thread knows?

So are bm payments going thru or being rejected from WF right now? Reason I ask is bc I was planning on streaming today and won't if the payments aren't going to go thru.

New bank (actually old) but using a 3rd party processor as a buffer. Direct deposit between US banks is risky right now until we can get a series of safety nets in place to protect us and the models, and this takes time, compliance reviews, and negotiations.
For now, the option we have is adequate and takes a few minutes to sign up to deliver your direct deposits.

Me too! My payment for today is showing as 'sent' on my BM dashboard, but I haven't gotten a text or email from Veem and it's not showing up on my Veem dashboard, it's been at least an hour and a half since it was sent I think.

Hello,
I'm thinking to sign up with BM and I have a few questions.
1. Do I have to use them for every site I cam with or can I opt-in with some and opt-out with others?
2. Reading through the thread I see something is going on with the banks and there is now a 3rd party service BM is using to process payments. What exactly does this mean for me as a new model? I'm from the US.
3. I have already signed up for CB and SkPv. With BM would I make new accounts with these platforms or continue on the one I registered? Will I get new tags again?
4. Should I decide to leave BM, do I lose my accounts? Anything else?
Thank you :)

I thought in the dashboard it said starting from Friday it would be morning deposits? I assumed that meant we would start getting morning deposits tomorrow? Not sure exactly what that meant.
I know it said payment will be sent around 11am or noon but when is the actual cutoff time?

Our regular payment time just happens to be during their company "admin time" each day. This is the reasoning for moving to morning payouts going forward.
Their response today is that they pushed some kind of update internally, so we just need to be patient for a few hours. It's hard to impress upon them the level of impatience inherent in our specific business.

Would it be ok to use my regular gmail with them since it is non sex worker related? I'm just so overwhelmed after reading the dashboard on BM.

Streamate we'll try 10:30am CST, the others will be within an hour or so of that time. For CB we work off their "midnight report", so that won't change.

I still haven't been able to get instant payments yet, and my payment that was sent to today is scheduled to come on Monday for some reason. I'm wondering if I have something selected wrong - I'm chatting to the veem people right now so I'll post what they tell me, in case anyone else is experiencing the same thing as me.
EDIT: Well, customer service stopped replying to me so looks like I can't help anyone else :O

I had the same issue and was in the Veem chat multiple times daily until they figured it out, only for it to be that my bank (local credit union) has not begun to support Veem yet and therefore will not process Instant Deposits and will only do ACH payments- you might want to try contacting your bank to see if that might be the problem!

If you do ask your bank about it, you need to ask them about "Plaid", which is the business to business backbone that ACH2.0 was supposed to be. This is what banks need to start working with (and most major ones already do). Vm, among many other apps and payroll processors, make use of this network.

Actually, one other question. If I sign up tonight and cam tonight, I will get paid tomorrow/the next day? Or is there a holding period (like SM makes you wait 3 weeks for your first payout).
I really appreciate your time. Thank you.

Yes you get paid next day if you made the minimum amount you set (I think it's $40 or something)... I usually set my minimum amount for payment at $500 so i don't have crumbs being sent every day haha. I prefer a bigger amount, but once I reach it, the money are being sent in like 24 hours (48 or 72 if there are holidays, weekend or something, but rarely, usually it's 24 hrs).

Cosmo and Paxum are still options for most non-US people for near instant payments (though actually transferring the money from their e-wallets may still take time).
Once we get this one up and running smoothly, we'll look into additional options for non-US models.
Hey, I know you're busy, but I have an open ticket and asked a cpl days ago, if we're signing up for Cosmo, what do we say in the field that asks, "What websites will be paying out to you"? I don't want to put anything that's gonna risk being rejected because it's adult-oriented.
thanks!

Sorry, found the ticket, but it's no problem to answer in public.
You can put us and any other adult websites that pay you. Cosmopay is adult-friendly, being an e-wallet service based in Europe.
Avoiding the "adult thing" is primarily for services and institutions that interface directly with US mainstream banking.

It took about 12 hours for them to verify my first payment, I didn’t upload any documents, just put my account info in via plaid then was able to add my debit card.

I just changed my instant deposit linked debit card from my brick and mortar bank to Sofi. That was before I read the Veem FAQ again and saw that they don't work with e-banks like Chime. Which I guess SoFi is. But I wasn't blocked from adding the debit card (and didn't change my direct deposit bank info or anything else). So is there a chance it will still work?

V has been doing daily deposit for me, but this time, Thursday's earnings didn't get deposited Friday. I looked on my dashboard and it says the 20th for expected deposit! And Friday's earnings say the 21st! I wrote to their support to inquire since KB expedites their payments and was getting daily deposit up until now.

Same for me today, I'm really confused! I previously had "faster ACH" checked but BM said to uncheck it since their payments are expedited anyway without us having to pay an extra fee.
It's really seeming like payments will just not be arriving with the same level of regularity as before which is really worrisome, honestly. I rely on the knowledge that my payments each day will be sent around the same time and arrive the following business day and this is the third time that hasn't happened for me with Veem.
Unless you do Instant Deposit which comes with an extra fee, and doesn't work with every bank in the first place.

Just know that we did indeed elect to pay the fee on those, but now we're being told there is a bug with their bulk payment system where, for whatever reason, it isn't registering for some people. It seems completely random. Vm is having issues meeting the demand we're placing on their system as more people are being on-boarded. Random is not a good thing, and we've been quite active behind the scenes in voicing our displeasure at the situation. We're also not happy with their regular support telling people anything from "they didn't pay the transaction" to "they didn't opt for paying the fee", when neither are true. The fault lies entirely with them. We've bent over backwards to work with them.
From Monday we'll be feeding payments in individually, even if it takes our staff the entire afternoon, to get around issues with their bulk payments.
The only thing that seems to work well and consistently is the Instant Pay option, but that isn't a solution for a lot of payees.
To that end, we're continuing to work on other options and we're getting closer.

In all, its really not a lot of people. The vast majority haven't had issues, probably 90%+ by the numbers. The ones that do will be the first to run to the forums to let everyone know, so it creates a very skewed or biased perspective. The vast majority of who we work with we never hear from except for routine things once every few years. They have almost no adult related social media or forum presence and don't participate in the community. This includes almost all of our top earners.
That being said, ~5% having legitimate issues randomly where it wasn't something on their end is not acceptable for us. We need precision and reliability. We'll keep demanding it from Vm while we work on additional partnerships.
Finding partners for payments that tick ALL the boxes is impossible, so we're stuck looking for solutions that each tick some of the boxes. Hopefully every model that works with us is able to use one of them for their situation.

I sooooo wish that Arousr and SextPanther would link up with Boleyn Models (I already know that Arousr won't...someone in the Arousr thread already asked them about it). I like both sites, but I'm not feelin' that $100 payout minimum on Arousr...or how long it takes to get the money from SextPanther. EDIT: FUCK Arousr. Lmao. I wish SextPanther linked up with BM though. :)
