I highly suggest to back up all content.
Word is spreading to use MC to accept payments via the site in conjunction with escort advertising sites.
I had a escort site, not through MC but it was shut down. Content gone. Nothing major. No warning
All it takes is to book a appt, send payment and boom
I wouldn’t fuck around right now.
This shit is not legal and it’s not cool to invade legitimate legal platforms.
Why on earth would anyone use MC for that? The percentage is so high?

I didnt think about the %, my immediate thought is they do not cover chargebacks. OMG imagine accepting a payment and not getting paid.
I've been there and done that with a agency. "the customer was not happy" he tried giving me drink already prepped before I got there and I declined and I declined being recorded. I was in my 20s.
its easy to do a cb on mc.
I did reach out to modelcentro to clarify if offering services is legal due to the new bills and the MC answer has me on edge. :'(
You can actually add such services in the "Tip me" section of your website, but it will be processed as a "Tip" on our side and it just let you get in touch with the interested customer.
We are providing payments for the website income, not for the "prostitution".
With that said
I think I am scared of new baby hoes taking bad advice, opening a site, linking it to ads and taking payments.
I trust the old school girls bc most have been through this and know to tip toe discreetly.
I hope that if providers do use this platform, they will use it with caution.

You can also look up your members' emails and keep a list if you need to if MC gets shutdown for some reason.

I was looking into starting a model centero but i had a question about the pay it says 10% processing fee model gets 75% and then theres a 25% fee to model center so is it really 65% or is part of the %10 processsing fee in the 25% that goes to model centro

I’ve been with MC as my membership site for several years. You have to bring your own traffic (I suggest using a WP blog and point the traffic from that to your members site) they provide zilch. So it can be difficult to get the ball rolling at first.
To answer one of the questions above, we take home 68%.
It’s the easiest membership option available that I know of. The backend is simple to use.
Some of the downsides IMO:
- Not a lot of themes to choose from and you can’t upload your own, so MC sites tend to look very cookie cutter in design.
- Some issues with the video player, if a user pauses a video for too long and tries to press play again you get a “temporarily unavailable” error message and are forced to refresh the page to watch again from the beginning.
- Search function on the customer end (and admin end) isn’t very intuitive - if you have hundreds of videos the only way they can search is with a small drop-down filled with tags. I’d prefer a search bar they can type in that spits back titles, keywords, and descriptions for the term they typed in. Same with the admin area. Trying to find a certain video to edit? Good luck - you are eyeballing it page-by-page.
- My other gripe with the tag feature is when you’re filling them out it doesn’t auto insert old tags you’ve used when typing them, or have an option to show them, etc. So when you fill it out and you forget what you’ve previously used you could end up tagging vids with “FemDom” and another with “Female Domination” making searching on the customer end annoying.
- Blog in MC doesn’t seem to be very SEO friendly?? hence get a WP blog if you’re serious about blogging with any kind of regularity and pushing search engine traffic.
- Support regarding new features seems to have gone quiet? They promised they were working on new themes a while back but not sure what happened. If they’re busy that’s fine but it would be nice if they kept us in the loop on what’s upcoming for 2019.
- I’ve heard from several models on twitter saying that customers are having trouble signing up and joining the site because of the payment processor blocking the card & getting an error, having to call the bank to get it to go through, etc. I’ve had a few customers tell me this also. BUT I’m still converting and my site converts average of 60:1 ratio...I’m getting decent amount of signups so...not sure the extent to this? Just putting it out there to be aware.
That all said,
- When I’ve had an issue support has always been quick to respond and very friendly. They now have a live support chat for models which is nice.
- I love the mailing list feature and the ability to download all of the collected emails. You also have access to all of the info/emails of users who have joined, canceled, and signed up to join but didn’t hit the join button. Can use those emails to your advantage too.
- I don’t use it personally, but you have the option to sell videos individually via a store front and also offer a membership.
- Chargebacks are something they don’t cover but have been very rare (maybe due to the iron fist they have when processing payments) I think I’ve had at the most 5? cb’s in all the years I’ve been with MC.
- Had an issue with Google spanking my site (and others) and dropped my ranking way down in search engines. MC added some new SEO features like site maps, meta tags, etc and helped guide me through getting my site HTTPS secure with Google and it popped me back to where I belong. So they’re slowing adding SEO friendly things.
- Again, it’s very user friendly in the admin area. It’s free to use vs building your own or going with a company and you don’t have to pay for those $$$$ visa / mastercard payment processor fees.
- Never had trouble getting any payout with them. I prefer to use DailyPay with BoelynModels, always fast. No issues.
I’d try them and see how you like it.

add to this bc it was asked in another thread
Integrating w streamate
^^^ when I integrated w sm I charged my site fee 24.99 monthly membership
I get 35% of that in my daily income the day they signed up . ok ill take that hit for integrating
one day I looked at my earnings on modelcentro and noticed a bunch of 5.00 deducted for the connection fee
I was taking the hit of 35%
then paying from model centro earnings 5.00
earning 4.00 vs 16.00 adding they would get free goldshows and 20% off shows.
I once had a goldclub with streamate before my website.
It requires 1 weekly video a photo set and 3 blog entries and you can set your on price.
I say thats the way to go
Ive thought about doing that again and just having both
