An affiliate page popped up recently. It says
50% Lifetime RevShare
Get 50% of all initial sales and 50% of all recurring billing for the lifetime of each membership you refer. Every time the customer rebills, you get 50% of the sale!
Hi Sinistress, yes we are actively beta testing the affiliate program with a handful of models, and it should be enabled for all models that want to participate in the next 30 days or so.

If for any reason we try your site and for any reason it doesn't work out, is there a way to take down the entire site without having to go in manually and delete everything?
I also agree with the fact that I would not like to have a download button. While anyone can technically save any video online, I certainly don't want to invite them to do so or make it any easier.
Side note, is there any way to accept extra money aside from the monthly subscription on the site? Such as tips/tributes? Are the tabs still not customizable?
Hey DiamondCupcakes! let me go over your questions:
The site is all yours, so you can close it down at will whenever you want. The only concern would be existing members - if they bought a membership, we will have to either keep their access (no new signups allowed) till they expire, or refund - you will choose which of the two ways to go.
With downloads, it has been taking a bit longer than expected - even though it sounds quite easy, technically it isn't, but it's definitely on the roadmap!
Customizing tabs is on the roadmap too, status is "in progress".
I do have good news for all of you today :) Tips functionality is ready, we're final-testing it, so this week it will be available on all active accounts. As promised, we are moving on and improving based on YOUR requests :)

Hello guys and gals,
Just wanted to post some updates:
Besides Tip Me menu, which has been live and earning models extra income, we've released the Affiliate Program functionality which allows you to set up partnerships with webmasters who will promote your site for a revshare.
In addition, we've set up integration with SkyPrivate - a Skype app that lets you have private pay per minute shows, so you can easily set up a "Skype Me" menu.
Last but not least, we've added an Events Calendar, showing all previous and future (scheduled) updates for your members to see and anticipate.
Stay tuned as we've got a lot more in the oven ;)

Yours - you specify your data for domain name owner, just make sure to choose "Private" registration to not make your real identity public - this is done through the system too.

I just wanted to bump this thread again, see if any of the girls who tried this have any feedback on how it has gone. In 2014 I'm busting my ass to make my camming more business-like and less random side-money, so topics like this are huge for me.

So far I like Adult Centro. I too wanted to get my own website. I feel that I now have good marketing skills after 7 years of camming. And based on the marketing I've done for other sites, I know (at least for me) it takes time to build a clientele. I only have 1 member so far. But I have been paid and he is happy with it. The support team for Centro is awesome, which I love. I have my own domain now. I do need a lot of work on my site, and I know that, but I'm working on it. I say just jump in, and do your best to promo yourself. It took me close to a year to build up my Niteflirt page and get regular custies. I was hesitant about promoting streamate because Imlive never paid me. But guess what? It took close to a year of me promoting SM and now I get a weekly check fro my model link. It's cool to get money every Friday for not doin anything. Basically, I'm saying just go for it. Never stop promoting, and I am sure it will work out in your best interest. :)

I set up an affiliate program but I can't figure out how to get it to show up on my modelcentro site? I've tried clicking different site designs, page options etc, but the affiliate thing never shows up

Hey Takiaya,
The affiliates are webmasters, so they'll be looking for the link in the footer. The link usually looks like this: http://c2n.me/inEIFT.png and appears in the footer of the website. Until the page is manually set up, there's no reason to put it on the page - it'll look unprofessional. Let us know by emailing support @modelcentro.com when your affiliates page is ready and set up and we'll enable the link in the footer for you. If you follow the guide I posted (must be logged in), step by step, it will help you set everything up correctly. Guide link: http://modelcentro.com/home?walkme=71623

Hey Tsani. Sure, why not? We'll even have a simplified affiliate program sign in with single creds and unified payout.

So, I already have my own website under my own domain that I made myself because I'm a web designer. And I know how to make a members site and everything... But, I don't really care to deal with securing my own payment processors like Zombaio, etc.
I was intrigued by the .xxx domain offer, and I wondered if it would be a good idea to have a model centro site alongside of my current site (like just use it for the membership part, or even to replace my other site eventually). If I had one alongside my current site, I would probably make a subdomain like vip.mysitename.com and point it to my ModelCentro site.
I also wondered if we're limited on ModelCentro to selling memberships, or if there are options for using it for payment processing for skype shows, etc.
Thanks, Natalie, for answering our questions!
P.S. I also would like to hear other girl's feedback on getting a modelcentro site to use alongside my current site, and if anyone has done this, your experiences, etc.

P.S. I also would like to hear other girl's feedback on getting a modelcentro site to use alongside my current site, and if anyone has done this, your experiences, etc.
I'm doing this with my fur fetish site. I have had FurPassion.com for over 3 years, and it gets around 100 hits a day just from search engines and old link exchanges.
Compared to a members site built on WordPress, ModelCentro is SO easy and QUICK to update. The automatic preview generation and clip resizing takes a heavy server load and most adult content management scripts call for VPS hosting on top of the cost of their script. I have VPS hosting, but a smaller plan with more limited space that doesn't allow me capacity for the 200+ clips I have (in HD). I also host mainstream clients on it, and my members site was sucking my server resources in general.
I have my modelcentro on new.furpassion.com . I did the c-name or a-name whatever from my primary hosting cpanel, so that nothing changed as far as my pop email settings or anything else. I tested it with my longterm members first before "officially" launching, and NO complaints (only positive feedback).
Right now I plan on redesigning and keeping furpassion.com up on WordPress in some capacity, because of the SEO and that it's useful for delivering custom clips, giving limited bonus content, spycams, etc. (happy to help with any plugins, there are lots of ways of doing this). I generally like fucking around with WordPress in this adult sphere, and I teach myself skills that are directly transferable to mainstream clients. I've learned that WordPress is NOT a great CMS for video and paysites.
My problem with Zombaio as a payment processor is that they take FOREVER to pay. 10% but payment is ALWAY VERY delayed (in my experiences, 2+ years). Modelcentro pays immediately via Payoneer and on time. I also don't have to solve tech issues, I just direct clients to modelcentro support for any issues with using the site (just once, from a really nice guy who seriously cannot add 10+7).
I think that when I figured the break even point for leasing/buying an adult content management script with ALL the features (including members only camshows) that ModelCentro currently offers, it would be around $200-$600 per month, up front, regardless if I made money or not.... and I'd have to design my own site or modify a basic included template, AND integrate a payment processor etc. I am fairly tech savvy, but right now I can't commit to up front costs like that, nor such extensive time in designing and configuring everything at the micro-level. Using modelcentro is a fairly risk free way to have your own paysite.
The biggest disadvantage is that on the admin end, the site-builder can be a bit slow... but it's ALOT of code on their end and probably fairly resource intensive, and that part has improved in the past few months.
I raised my rates when I transitioned the members area of FurPassion at the beginning of June, and so now I am "bringing home" as much per sale as I did with my cheaper rates via my WordPress site using Zombaio. The ModelCentro site converts, even the one that I am passively playing with (KaitlinK.com - my general fetish site, which I'll be working on more in the next few weeks), and I've actually made more money in the past 2 months than in the last 2 months of having my site the old way.
I download the generated free previews to post on Youtube, FetLife, Facebook, etc.... which is more efficient than manually making preview clips (and for some reason Youtube still lets me monetize most of my clips so I make around $10 a month from adsense).
Hope this helps~
Kaitlin

Thanks so much for all your helpful info, Kailtin! You're actually the reason that I know how to make a wordpress member site (from your articles on other forums). I'll definitely feel better about signing up for model centro now and won't feel as much like I'm just being lazy lol.

Hi Tsani, regarding "I also wondered if we're limited on ModelCentro to selling memberships, or if there are options for using it for payment processing for skype shows, etc."
Internal monetization methods on MC currently include subscription and tips. We've also integrated Skyprivate and VerifiedCall that you can hook in to your MC-based site, but with these MC doesn't handle the payment. As for offering shows for tips - we don't regulate or restrict you in any way, however, we greatly recommend doing Skyprivate pay per minute. We've had a really unfortunate situation recently with an asshole visitor charging back through the bank after a skype show. If the service is done over skype, we have no log, record or control over it. So now even though we're going after him with the help of a collectors firm, the chances of returning the payment are dismal. This happened once so far since we launched, but I just figured I should warn you.
Other monetization methods are in development, including paid private shows, tips during shows, sending custom content through messages, unlocking content scheduled for publication etc. Many of these are on the MC roadmap thanks to advice from models, so please always let us know what else you need and we promise to keep improving.
Hi Kaitlin, thanks so much for the positive feedback. We are very happy to hear that you are satisfied with the platform. The editor truly is a very complex tool, and we are constantly working on making its functions more quick and efficient. Now we're drawing up a plan of improvement, so please let us know if you have any ideas on the best way to make it better (speeding things up is definitely the top thing on our list).

Thanks for answering my questions. I just launched my site and added my list of suggested improvements to the community there. I have a question about the affiliate program. It says "Hundreds of marketers will be contacting you", how will they be contacting me? Also, I see that the default program in there says 50% What is that 50% of? 50% of the total member price or 50% of our percentage that we get? Just wondering so that I know how I want to set up my program.
EDIT: Nevermind I just found the breakdown in a handy dandy "pie chart" on the affiliate dashboard. But I think it might be nice for people here to know too. Looks from the chart like it's 50% of our percentage, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey Tsani! My name is Sasha Green and I’m a new sales manager at ModelCetro. Natalie is on her vacation right now, so let me answer your question regarding affiliate program:)
Right now affiliates can learn about your website and an ability to work with you on Twitter, Facebook, forums or wherever you’ve decided to promote yourself. However we are preparing a global affiliate program, so in the nearest future there will be a lot of affiliates who will be happy to work with you!
If we are talking about revshare, it looks like this:
10% from each transaction is a billing fee
25% of the remaining funds go to MC
75% of the remaining funds go to the Model – those funds are going to be shared with affiliate depending on a rate which you’ve chosen. Default rate is 50%/50%, however you can easily change it at your admin system.

Thanks for answering my questions, Sasha.
One thing does concern me about ModelCentro and that's the facebook marketing (and the fact that there's facebook share buttons all over the place). I try to keep my camming career as far away from facebook as possible for a few reasons. One is that facebook is anti adult industry so I try to keep my adult stuff away from sites that don't allow stuff like that. A second reason is that facebook uses strong facial recognition software. The third reason is, even if I didn't have a personal facebook account, if someone I know recognizes me they can easily share it with my family and friends. I strongly feel that camming and facebook don't mix unless you're "out" or are a porn star and have a large following anyways.
So this leads me to my next question. Is there a way to opt out of being shared on facebook? I know that just not connecting to facebook via ModelCentro will help, but I need to know that affiliate marketers aren't going to be sharing me on their own facebook pages.
Thank you!

Tsani, you are absolutely free to decide where to promote your website. If you don’t want your ModelCentro account to be connected to Facebook, just manually turn this service off by clicking “disconnect” at Social sharing menu, Settings tab.
If we are talking about Affiliate program and Facebook, you will need to contact every affiliate manually and specify that you don’t want to be promoted there. Unfortunately ModelCentro can not be responsible for others actions, but if you will find yourself on Facebook – you can always remove that specific affiliate.

Hi Sasha, I have a new site with model centro and don't know much about the affiliates promoting us. I have been so over whelmed with all the sites I work for which I think are about 8 to 10? LOL. So I didn't even know we have affiliate promos and while I am a veteran cam and pso girl, I am not very knowledgable about the affiliate side too much or what it would take to get me more sales. I'd like affiliates to promo my site, but for sure do not want to be on facebook. How do I go about doing it please? I think it would be so cool if all us site owners had a webinar or something for Q and A. It would be so helpful because I really do need some help and want my site to look better and succeed.

Ameera, Paul - our Head of Support wanted to personally reply but sadly it seems that Stripperweb registration is malfunctioning (as he can't post or reply) so I am quoting his post here:
Hello Ameera,
My name is Paul and I am ModelCentro Head of Support and Models Management.
I thought that it will be better if I will personally address your questions, since it can be helpful to all the girls and guys reading this.
It's absolutely understandable that many girls (even professionals in the business like yourself) simply don't have free time to learn about all of the possibilities to promote their sites. Performing daily is quite exhausting, especially when you work with many sites and platforms. Luckily we have it all figured out. I feel like I should touch base regarding Affiliate program for all the girls that will be reading this post, and afterwards I will explain on how do we help with all those possible questions and concerns.
Basically what affiliate program does - it allows your fans (or any webmaster experienced in marketing, for example) to promote your site brining more members in. And by using affiliate program you are sharing part of your revenue with those people who are bringing new members. Why do you need this? Because in the end game you want as many members as possible (obviously to earn thousands and thousands $$ monthly), so while you promoting your site through social networks (Twitter, Instagram, Thumblr etc etc) - your affiliates promoting it in their network, on different sites, on forums etc. As much affiliate you get - as much members they will bring. Yet again, affiliate does not earn anything unless he brought a member in, so there are no expenses beside revenue share (same as everywhere on our platform - you not giving anything away unless you getting something).
Now as per all the questions that Models have. Of course every single model with no exceptions got a lot of questions, it's absolutely normal. Totally new platform with a lot of possibilities that was not offered to Model before. It's like getting a new, much better, car: you got driving license and had a car before, but your new car is much better and had a lot of new options and functionality - clearly you will have questions about that.
In order to make your life as easy as possible - each new Model in our system instantly getting dedicated account manager attached to her/his account. Your dedicated manager are always trying to reach you (via different communication methods that you have supplied during registration) and encouraging setting up a Skype chat in order to:
1) Always be in touch with you in case of any questions
2) To be able to offer you his/her help with setting up site, styling it, even creating logo if needed
3) to watch over your site and inform you right away if any action required
Beside dedicated account manager, in order to assist you with everything we have:
1) Live Chat where you can always ask a question. Even if it's offline at some hours - our managers will get your offline message and will contact you to assist
2) Detailed visual interactive guides by WalkMe (bottom left of your control panel) that will get you through any process step by step
3) FAQ section (can easily get there from your MC control panel)
4) Community that's often updated with new topics and articles where you can not only find useful information but to share your opinion and experience with other professionals
5) I've personally created list of useful hints for ModelCentro Models that explain how you can improve your site and how to get more members (it also mentioning Affiliate program of course)
And of course our Sales Team that roams forums answering any possible questions regarding our platform :)
Most importantly, answering your Facebook question: Generally in our platform it is totally up to you whether to promote or not to promote your site via any (or some specific) social networks. But when referring to Affiliates - of course technically we cannot control their actions nor be responsible for them. But generally when model does not wish to be promoted in any specific place she/he:
- Specifying that in the name of her created campaign.
- Contacting her Affiliates politely reminding that she should not appear in that specific place.
Affiliates does not have tendency to do something that model is against of, since they are earning cash from brining in new members and clearly not interested in being banned by you for violating your specific rules. I hope that answers it.
As per Webinar - we are planning such events in near future. At the moment, since our team is always active and helping out all the models - there was no need in webinars. Besides, if anyone got any questions or require assistance with her/his MC account or site - they can always Skype me directly and I will either assist myself or will make sure that one of our managers does.
So the main advice from me to each of our models would be: Please check your email's Junk folder. I promise your that your dedicated manager have tried to reach out to you. And beside it makes my team depressed when they are unable to reach out to their beloved clients for weeks :(
PS: My apologies in case of any typos. Was typing in hurry while assisting Models with their questions ;)

Hi Raina, right now SM performers who also have their own fan sites on ModelCentro will now be able to broadcast their live cam shows simultaneously on both websites with ease. When a model performs a live cam show on her Streamate profile, that same broadcast will be viewable on her ModelCentro site via the Streamate app, which is now integrated into the ModelCentro platform for model sites.:)

Thanks Sasha, that's really cool. But may i ask, what part of your feed will be displayed to members on modelcentro, just free chat? Or everything? Just wondering how you would setup a show for your members to see if they would see it through SM (goldshow?) Or would you run a private show through Modelcentro stream? I hope this makes sense, still on my first coffee of the day, not all there yet! Lol.

Thank you for the question Raina! All your fans who purchased a subscription to your ModelCentro site will see scheduled show banners regardless of the app that will be used during the show. Users will be able to see your stream and participate in the free chat. However,Streamate disables some show controls on the user side in its external app. So features like screen size selection, tipping Gold, or Private Show requests will be available for users only on the Streamate.com or Cammodels.com websites.

hey Raina!
I noticed that Sasha missed a bit of info. Only gold and free shows are streamed into your own site. Privates are not, of course. The site will let your site's fans go directly to SM to request a private show.
There's also a native streaming app that lets you have shows for your site's members, however for now we can't do privates, so shows are free to members. Usually site owners do a weekly 20-30 minute show to keep the members more interested. These shows are recorded and after the show you can choose to either delete or to publish it to the website as additional content.

How long does it take to get approved? I feels like it has been forever but I now it has only been a day since I uploaded my docs, ok maybe a few hours - I am excited to play with it :-)

Hi JackAlexander! Great to have you on board!
The approval usually is 24 hours or less, varies only depending on holidays. I believe the approval department was off today. In the meantime, your account is fully functional. You can work on design, upload videos and photo sets, blog, set join and tip options etc. The approval is necessary for either publishing content to the website or for getting your free domain through the system (1 per account). Everything else is already available to you although the account isn't approved.

Scratching my head.... I am trying to play with the editor. It stays on "Loading please wait". I tried to find some sort of answer on the websire why it would be sitcking to no avail. I am using chrome. So is it that I am not approved, wrong browser or site issue?
Thank you for getting back to me so quick.

JackAlexander, well, if it was the approval that's sorted as you're approved.
Now for the loading. Chrome should be fine, just please make sure it's updated. Older browser versions might lag.
The site editor tool is very complex, so please always let it load before clicking anything else. I just logged into my test account and it took about 12 seconds to load. So, kinda slow, but we are working on speeding that up. The delay should only be when you open and load the editor. The rest of the site editing process should be much faster.

edit to add after writing this a "member" (cough) comes in my chat and says Im not a real model if I have to pay a photographer... ummm how else do they get paid?
just saying
People outside of this biz are so funny.
I guess he means you should be shooting under contract and/or earning per-shoot... the time models were exploited like that are gone... or they should be.
Unless he's an idiot and thinks that you're going to "exchange professional services", which again means he knows nothing about this biz, or women, or life in general.

Then I guess I am just arsed out. Account approved, chrome up to date, clicked on customize your design, did not touch a thing and let the timer run to 2 min. :-( I even tried this process with Firefox; perplexed.
Do you think it could have anything to do with the fact I have not uploaded anything yet?

Hey JackAlexander. I'm having the team look into it. If you can add me to skype natalie.ac I'll put you in contact with a technician who will help you fix things. Another option is to kick open a ticket by emailing support at modelcentro.com.
Sorry you're having issues. I'd also need your email so we could test your particular account. The fact content is missing shouldn't cause any issues.

Hey JackAlexander,
Congrats on your first member! You must have some very devoted fans :) Entirely your achievement. You did a good job on the site so far. If you ever need help urgently, make sure to email support at modelcentro.com :) I do check this thread often, but you'll definitely get help faster on the support help line.
Getting an XXX domain is really easy - go to "My Site" (top menu) - "Settings"(left menu) - "Register a new domain" (top of page) and just choose one you like from the search functionality there. Then it will take you through the registration page. All available regular domains will say "Free" when the search results return them. Any of those you can register and it will auto-configure itself to your website within 24 hours.

Hey Everyone! Many of you have been asking about disabling downloads on the system. The functionality is not ready. There's a little gear icon next to "My Content". You can choose to allow or forbid downloads of either or both photosets and videos.
Have a marvelous day everyone!

Woot! Calendar looks awesome!
I just noticed this in my post: "about disabling downloads on the system. The functionality is not ready. There's a little gear icon next to "My Content"." - Don't know if I was too tired or just all thumbs, but it's "in the system" and "is now ready". Sorry about the mixups :)
