I'm not shadowbanned but for a little while I had suspected that I was only being recommended to other adult accounts. Back in Feb. I started scrubbing my followers list and also who I was following, then I unfollowed and banned a few people. I do NOT follow to unfollow. I only banned people who spam porn links and only tweet adult content. It's weird how distancing yourself from certain elements in real life also works with the Twitter algorithm to boost your status. Once March hit, I started to be even more strategic and the results have been a amazing. I did't get a ton of new followers and that's okay. But what I did get as a result of all those impressions were click thru traffic to my web accounts resulting in sales.

I haven't seen these sort of numbers since last November. I stopped trying to engage porn promoters to get retweets a long time ago. But I was still following many of them. I think banning them along with a few other tweaks may have helped get me out of the smut category.

I follow a variation of the 80/20 rule and it works for me. But I guess I should just stop trying to help people and keep my good fortune to myself then.

Nooo seeing your wins/good fortune is great!!!! Didn't mean to imply i disagree with your suggestions. I think different things can work/not work for different people. Twitter just seems a pretty useless avenue for me personally these days. Your impressions are really high so you're obviously being seen :)

I'm going to play around with the unfollowing and see how it goes. I'm not going to block guys who aren't promotors accounts and there are some really specific to the fetish I do that I'll keep as well. I didn't realize some of the people that followed me. I clicked on one that was obviously a spam bot and it tweeted in July of last year fake news articles with photos that Trump was dead! lmao
I have been getting dms from interested people lately (not just timewasters) so I'm happy about the direction my twitter is going so far. I put my handle at the end of clips on all sites that allow it, which I think helps.

Of course! Pornhub, Clips4Sale, Manyvids, MFC Share, and Stripchat allow social media. There might be others but those are the ones I've loaded to before.

You can now schedule tweets directly on twitter!
I don't like the scheduled tweet layout as much as other sites, but it is now an option to schedule and also have a list of said tweets.

I keep getting shadowbanned!! Every two months, almost to the day/date! I don't know why!! I know when it happens because I stop gaining followers, instantly, and my interactions drop off a cliff.
I don't post nudity or adult or even swearing or adult words.
Literally they just switch me off and then a month-ish or so later, after not changing anything, they switch me back on again. And then another month passes and I'm back to shadowban.
Anyone have any ideas?

Mine was like that for around two years, then they just permenantly suspended it. I'd prep for that if i were you and start building up a backup. This one is most likely dead in the water.

I’m curious if any of you girls post the same pics on Twitter as on Instagram? I wanna have both, but I don’t know how to divide the content. For the record, my Twitter is PG13, never post anything nude or sexual. Just random tweets and pics.
Too redundant to post same pics on Insta as on Twitter? Or should I see it as a different audience and not give a damn?

I would post the same content. Some guys prefer the gallery on Instagram vs Twitter but will still use both. Random post are the way to go! If you link your Insta to twitter make sure the caption grabs them so they will click through to see more

My content sales are increasing and although I am by no means selling crazy amounts yet, I'm getting a bit worried about autotweets. I stick to mainly promoting IWC, as it's where I do best, so a no brainer really - but I'm still worried my account could get flagged as a spam account I don't think I'm shadowbanned and haven't had any warnings..I also do no nudity in previews, but it still worries me. I interact with other accounts as if it were my "real" self (politics, sport, food and environmental issues mainly). From any of your experience, is a back-up account worth the hassle? It sounds like a faff to me. Or would I be better of with a back-up Instagram? For a myriad of reasons I've stayed away from it up until now - I also like to keep it for my personal life - but I'm wondering if it would be a good idea?

Twitter’s disappearing tweets, called Fleets, are now available for everyone (https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theverge.com/platform/amp/2020/11/17/21570368/twitter-fleets-disapeating-tweets-stories-launch-available-now)
Now, any mobile Twitter user, regardless of where they live or what platform they’re on, will have access to the disappearing messaging feature, which will sit right at the top of the timeline in a row of Stories-like bubbles.
Twitter hopes the new feature will help reduce the pressure around tweeting by letting users express more casual thoughts and feelings while also concerning themselves less with saying something profound or racking up likes and retweets. Fleets starts rolling out today on Android and iOS and should be available for everyone in the coming days, the company says.
“Through our tests in Brazil, Italy, India, and South Korea, we learned Fleets helped people feel more comfortable joining the conversation — we saw people with Fleets talk more on Twitter,” explain design director Joshua Harris and product manager Sam Haveson in a blog post. “Those new to Twitter found Fleets to be an easier way to share what’s on their mind. Because they disappear from view after a day, Fleets helped people feel more comfortable sharing personal and casual thoughts, opinions, and feelings.”
At its most basic level, Fleets is a Stories clone, borrowing all of the best ideas implemented by Instagram and Snapchat. You can share text, respond to others’ tweets, or post videos with the same background color and overlaid text options you get on other messaging apps with ephemeral features, with every message disappearing after 24 hours. You can also respond to others’ fleets by tapping on one and sending a direct message or emoji to the creator, which will start a DM conversation similar to how the story reply process works on Instagram. Twitter says it will also be introducing stickers and live broadcasting at some point in the future. You cannot, however, like or retweet a fleet.
Right now, the company says there will be no indicator if someone screenshots one of your fleets, and anyone who follows you will be able to see what you fleet by visiting your profile if they don’t immediately see your bubble at the top of the timeline.
So it’s not exactly right to think of Fleets as a fix-all remedy to social media outrage culture or the platform’s propensity to direct large numbers of individual actions toward a single target — what we colloquially call “getting ratioed” or piled on or canceled or whatever name or phrase you’d like to attach to briefly becoming an internet punching bag. Someone can still save what you post for posterity, repost it themselves, and say something mea. Alternatively, if you say something stupid, nothing is stopping others from spreading it through the traditional tweet channel via screenshots and further retweeting of those screenshots and criticizing you.
What Fleets seem likely to help with the most, at least at first, is dividing the sheer volume of opinions that get trafficked on Twitter every minute of every day into more digestible formats. That may spark changes in how we communicate on the platform. Undoubtedly, some users will try to push the limits of what can be said or shown on a fleet versus a tweet. Twitter is sure to face fresh moderation challenges when deciding whether to write new rules or modify existing ones for combating, say, harassment or misinformation as it pops up in Fleets.
But most of us can just use Fleets to send out the one-off reaction or hot take and let it expire in the void like most dumb opinions do anyway, just as Instagram Stories lets you share unpolished and (dare I say) fleeting snippets of our daily lives that don’t have to be framed or filtered to perfection.
BLAH BLAH BLAH it goes on. I was just about to start tweeting more suggestive stuff this week. I wonder how this will work for those of us selling shows, clips etc? Im happy for the new feature going forward. Now if only my two best accounts can finally get set up for audio tweets. I was aproved months ago on an mainstream account.

Introducing Birdwatch, a community-based approach to misinformation By Keith Coleman (https://blog.twitter.com/en_us/topics/product/2021/introducing-birdwatch-a-community-based-approach-to-misinformation.html)
People come to Twitter to stay informed, and they want credible information to help them do so. We apply labels and add context to Tweets, but we don't want to limit efforts to circumstances where something breaks our rules or receives widespread public attention. We also want to broaden the range of voices that are part of tackling this problem, and we believe a community-driven approach can help. That’s why today we’re introducing Birdwatch, a pilot in the US of a new community-driven approach to help address misleading information on Twitter.
Here’s how it works
Birdwatch allows people to identify information in Tweets they believe is misleading and write notes that provide informative context. We believe this approach has the potential to respond quickly when misleading information spreads, adding context that people trust and find valuable. Eventually we aim to make notes visible directly on Tweets for the global Twitter audience, when there is consensus from a broad and diverse set of contributors.
In this first phase of the pilot, notes will only be visible on a separate Birdwatch site. On this site, pilot participants can also rate the helpfulness of notes added by other contributors. These notes are being intentionally kept separate from Twitter for now, while we build Birdwatch and gain confidence that it produces context people find helpful and appropriate. Additionally, notes will not have an effect on the way people see Tweets or our system recommendations.

More info about Birdwatch:
www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1255552
Twitter unveiled a feature Monday meant to bolster its efforts to combat misinformation and disinformation by tapping users in a fashion similar to Wikipedia to flag potentially misleading tweets.
The new system allows users to discuss and provide context to tweets they believe are misleading or false. The project, titled Birdwatch, is a standalone section of Twitter that will at first only be available to a small set of users, largely on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will not be provided to high-profile people or traditional fact-checkers, but users will have to use an account tied to a real phone number and email address.

The theory is that one organic tweet with all your links on it is best, so:
"New video 'video name' get it now on
IWC link
C4s link
Manyvids link"
Amberly says backup accounts are risky. I'm not sure I believe that but it certainly is extra work. And not as much fun as having all that activity on your own feed haha.

Twitter Spaces is rolling out! I recently started using a mainstream account to see how quickly I would get the audio feature and it didnt take long. Hopefully I'll get the chatroom option soon.
Twitter announced today it’s opening up its live audio chat rooms, known as Twitter Spaces, to users on Android. Previously, the experience was only open to select users on iOS following the product’s private beta launch in late December 2020. The company says that Android users will only be able to join and talk in Spaces for the time being, but won’t yet be able to start their own.
That added functionality is expected to ship “soon,” Twitter says, without offering an exact timeframe.

Wonderful. Another feature we won't be able to use here in UK, like fleets *eyeroll*
So I made a twitter today. I had one a long time ago for a short period of time and I forgot how to use it. I know how to work around Tiktok and Instagram but the level of censorship makes it super frustrating and I rather focus on just one form of promotion for now.
I’m just wondering what can and can’t post over there? Can I have the same profile pic as I have on SM? Can I be obvious about being a cam girl? Or am I gonna get banned quickly if I’m not careful enough?

You can talk about being a cam girl and any other online sex work you do on Twitter. However, to get the most out of your Twitter experience, you want to show your personality and not sell your services on every Tweet.

So I made the mistake of posting a half nude photo (just nipples) and they flagged my profile as “sensitive”. My other tweets are vanilla and fully clothed. I deleted that tweet and waiting for my account to get back to normal. Anybody knows how long it takes? I’ve heard it should be a matter of days. In my settings, the sensitive media is not checked, so I still have hope (I did try to turn it on and off, but no result). At the same time I see a lot of girls having full on previews of clips and naked pics and no flagging (no, no sensitive check either, I looked it up), so I’m not sure how this shitty system works. I’m very confused why I went under the radar so fast.
Hope you ladies know more!

I wouldn't reccomend you to put everything you have "on stock", on twitter. You can put sexy pics, announcing you are online on cam. Keep the goodies for paid content on Jasmin (since you said you want to log in), maybe sign up for a content site like OnlyFans and LoyalFans and post nudes there. Don't put your nude body for free on twitter! Let them come in and pay. You also educate your audience and won't atract cheapos and freeloaders. Or at least atract less.
PS: Here's the official thread for self promotion, it only has 15 pages but maybe you find some relevant info:

Its fine. Only thing I can advise is no skin on profile pic/banner. Make sure those are as mild as possible. I keep my Twitter SFW, to show on search, but have my OF both pinned and in the bio. Considering how mainstream they went recently and how they wanna appeal to casual influencer, I don’t see an OF as an issue on Twitter. Other platforms go bunkers and ban left and right, Twitter doesn’t really care.

One thing I think is a BAD idea is mixing politics or anything hot button with your cam or PSO or whatever profile. People probably want to see what's up with your cam or pso persona and toys, and fun stuff....and escape from the rest of social media BS.
Just what I think, anyway. I am refraining from giving any personal opinions except positive ones and that's about certain toys or lubes, lingerie brands...etc.

It’s hard to promote on Twitter, unless you are a celebrity or use retweet groups. Twitter isn’t very organic unfortunately.
Def have an account, but don’t focus much on it, other than showing off your personality and some sneak peaks for paid content.

From The Washington Post
https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/11/01/elon-musk-twitter-paywalled-video/
It looks as though Twitter may try to compete with OnlyFans?
Elon Musk’s Twitter is pushing ahead with plans to charge for content, including videos, on the social media site.
Twitter is working on a feature that would let people post videos and charge users to view them, with the company taking a cut of the proceeds, according to an internal email obtained by The Washington Post. The company appears to be aiming to rush out the feature, referred to as Paywalled Video, with a target of one to two weeks before launch.
But the team has “identified the risk as high,” according to the email, which was sent by an employee on Twitter’s “Product Trust” team. The email cites “risks related to copyrighted content, creator/user trust issues, and legal compliance” and says the feature will undergo a brief internal review on those issues before moving forward.
Whether the feature was in development before Musk took over is unclear, and Twitter declined to comment Thursday. But the accelerated timeline gives the company’s internal review teams just three days to provide feedback on the potential risks.
The timeline could signal Musk’s intent to move far more quickly in building and launching new features than Twitter has in the past — even if that means taking on greater risks of abuse or liability. While Twitter makes most of its money from advertising, Musk has said he wants to charge users, including for the blue check mark of verification.
Musk bought the company for $44 billion last week, taking on billions in debt and promising fellow investors a hefty return — despite some analysts valuing the company at roughly half that price. Upon taking control, Musk immediately fired the executive team, installed himself as “Chief Twit,” brought in trusted business partners and has been floating a slew of major changes, often via his own Twitter account.
Musk courts Twitter advertisers as he seeks new streams of revenue
The paid video feature would mark a significant shift for the platform, which is best known as a place for users to publicly share short thoughts, memes and links. Twitter recently branched into live audio with a feature called Spaces and has begun experimenting with premium features, such as a “tip jar” for content creators and a “Super Follow” option that lets popular tweeters charge a subscription fee for bonus content.
The video shift could also push Twitter, which is unusual among major social networks for allowing nudity and consensual pornography, into competition with sites that specialize in adult content.
According to the internal email describing the new video feature, which has not yet been announced, “When a creator composes a tweet with a video, the creator can enable the paywall once a video has been added to the tweet.” They can then choose from a preset list of prices, such as $1, $2, $5 or $10.
Mock-ups of the feature viewed by The Post show a tweet with four images. Three are immediately viewable, while the fourth is obscured, with a lock icon and the message “view for $1.” Paying that amount would unlock the video, with the creator receiving money via Stripe while Twitter takes an unspecified amount.
Users who haven’t paid would not be able to see the video but could like or retweet the tweet.
The email doesn’t specify what types of videos creators might post, though it does raise the concern that users might post copyrighted content or use the feature to scam others. One Twitter employee, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal plans, said it seemed like a feature that would probably be used at least partly for adult content.
Analysis: The problem behind all of Twitter’s other problems
Though Twitter is no longer public, it is on the hook for around $1 billion in annual interest payments on the debt Musk accrued when buying the company. He has also said he plans on charging $8 a month for users to keep their blue check mark that signals the company has verified them as who they say they are, while giving them added features like priority in search results.
Some of that money could be used to pay content creators like YouTube, Facebook and TikTok do, Musk said Tuesday on Twitter.
He earlier showed support for content creators on Twitter and engaged with some as he sought to make his case that users should become paid subscribers in exchange for a verification badge and other features.
“This will also give Twitter a revenue stream to reward content creators,” he wrote in one tweet.
“Creators need to make a living!” he added in response to an enthusiastic tweet from a Tesla influencer, who lauded the payment idea as a way to spur further content creation.
Twitter to charge $8 a month for verification. What you need to know.
Twitter estimates that about 13 percent of its content is NSFW, or “not safe for work,” according to Reuters, which included the figure in a story last month about how Twitter was losing its most active users. NSFW content, along with cryptocurrency content, were the fastest-growing areas of English-speaking Twitter, according to an internal presentation viewed by The Post and first reported by Reuters.
Most big advertisers shun NSFW content and are hesitant to advertise on platforms that have a reputation for containing pornography. The marketing industry has had conversations about the issue with Twitter over the years, according to an executive at one of the largest advertising agencies who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Rivals such as Facebook and TikTok do not allow pornographic content.
In August, the Verge reported that Twitter had developed and then shelved plans for a subscription service explicitly focused on adult content, reminiscent of the lucrative adult platform OnlyFans. But the project went through an intensive review by an internal “Red Team” tasked with evaluating all the possible risks and was ultimately derailed by concern that Twitter would be unable to ensure that it wasn’t monetizing child pornography or sexual abuse.
Musk has been in New York this week, partly to meet with advertisers. Last week, he posted a note on his Twitter account promising advertisers the site wouldn’t become a “free-for-all hellscape.”

Elon just fired the entire team who were working on keeping Twitter more ethical.
"Yep, the team is gone. The team that was researching and pushing for algorithmic transparency and algorithmic choice. The team that was studying algorithmic amplification. The team that was inventing and building ethical AI tooling and methodologies. All that is gone."

I wonder how much of their work involved making it more difficult for sexworkers?

Elon is losing his damn mind! He's now blocking the use of Linktree links as well as competing social media platforms.

Twitter is dying. I never got much business from it but I feel sorry for the ladies that do.
