Two things
Houston is not a good city to travel to and dance. Everyone I know that has worked there and customers that have visited there have said it is a HUGE extras city and high contact place. I just got a PM from a girl telling me about it, no secret in Houston. Second thing is St James only hires TX license girls and they check where your address is and you need an actual license (300 or so dollars).

Yup, figured that out a little too late. I heard about St. James before we went. I really don't think I will return for work. I am definitely open to trying out Dallas though. It's a little bit of a shorter drive ;-)

So glad I found this thread I was just about to ask for info on dallas clubs. I'm in DFW area just moved here 3 months ago from Va and I hear there is a lot of money at the clubs here is that true? Also anyone work at DG's I think I will audition there soon. Any info on VLive as well?

Both of those clubs suck. DGs has no money.

Wow that sucks, I watch a lot of the youtube vids for DG's and it looks like a really good club. I guess I'll rethink some things.

You can never trust what you see on videos of urban clubs. When I went to audition, they were filming someone throwing money on stage and a girl twerking. The stage was full of money but the whole thing was staged! They had a camera man and when they finished the clip, they cleaned it all up. I saw the video edited and on Instagram. Trust me money there is a JOKE. The money there is so bad that there's drama because girls are barely making 100. The money there is so bad that a few months ago the hiring manager called me (I haven't worked there in MONTHS) and said "I'm going through the old files and wanted to know why you left" because the club is so dead now. I'm trying to save you girl, but if you insist go ahead and go...

For those asking about the Clubhouse, it has been good lately, mostly on weekends. But I hear weekdays here and there have been better.
Can someone by any chance tell me what the Lodge's dress code is? Do you need to wear one pieces or have your butt fully covered? I am assuming yes but I want to double check.

I worked at The Lodge for years. They want an expensive look. Think Classy/Slutty :).

I just got hired there, but they didn't tell me if it was gowns only on weekdays. I only have a mini dress until next week so I'm probably going to procrastinate. I hope it's good there right now!

You only have to wear gowns on Thursday nights.. the rest of the week you can wear a shorter dress.
I've never heard of clubhouse is it in Fort Worth?

The Lodge has been easing up on their dress code recently. Thursday is long gown night/day, so preferably you would wear a one piece dress that goes all the way to the floor. However, if you wear a short cocktail dress, or even a two piece outfit (keep it classy) you should be fine. You might want to work a couple weeks first to establish yourself, though. The hard rule is that your breasts and butt/crotch must be covered. If you're wearing a dress, those areas can't be mesh or see-through. So if you wear a two piece outfit, the bottom piece will need to be a skirt, even if it's just a super short mini almost-a-belt thing. The rest of the week, they want you to wear a one-piece dress, even if the only thing connecting the top to the bottom is a thin little strip of fabric. They haven't been enforcing this rule, though, and the house mom occasionally sells two piece dresses, so it's pretty safe to guess that rule's been changed.
Above all else, keep it classy. The big dress code rule as explained to me when I got hired was to *look* expensive, even if everything you're wearing came from the bargain bin at the dollar store. You don't have to buy and wear expensive. Just act, look, and charge it. As long as your outfit meets that requirement (and the no see-through areas mentioned above are covered), you're probably safe no matter what day it is. You can have a slutty, party flare, but keep it balanced with something that makes broke customers wonder if they can afford you.
ETA: The Lodge has been pretty good to me. I prefer the day crowd, but it's all personal preference. Days are super slow, but the guys who come in are 1000x worth it. They're usually business men who come in on their lunch break, and they don't have a lot of time to sit and chat. 12-3 is the window where you'll probably make most of your money. The rest of the shift is a trickle in comparison. Nights are a little more spread out. They start out slow and pick up as the night goes on. The crowd is usually younger, and it can be hit or miss whether you'll get someone with money who knows the rules or if you're getting some random sports fan out for a party.
If you're a decent hustler, nights can be really good. If you're not that great at hustling, but good at conversation, Days might be a better shift. I still make most of my money from dances during the day, but probably a quarter to a third of my income from day shift comes from people paying me to sit and talk with them. The worst day I've ever had at the Lodge was something close to $110. Otherwise, I can [almost] always guarantee I'll walk out with over $200 on a bad night, if nothing else. An average night for me is usually north of three, and a good night is north of four. I'm probably close to one of the worst hustlers you've ever met. There are girls here who make a -lot- more than I do. If you can hustle, you'll probably be in their number without breaking a sweat.

Yeah, I haven't had a ton of luck at the Lodge, but I really like the atmosphere. I tried the mid shift and it was pretty bad, but it was also a Tuesday. I'm trying to find what I like best. Nights are definitely a younger crowd and the guys who want VIP get snatched up pretty fast. It seems like Wednesday/Thursday are the best to work. I haven't tried the day shift yet but I'd like to. I'm just soooo not a morning person!

I tried mid shift a couple times, but it seems like such an awkward block. It starts right after the lunch rush ends and doesn't start to pick up enough to be worth while until 9 or 10. You pay $10 to sit around for five hours and work for three, unless you stay until close. I know a few girls who work it who always seem to do well, so there must be something to it, but I haven't found the appeal of it for myself yet.
It's been pretty slow recently. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are good days/nights to work. Thursday might be a bit more iffy for day shift. Saturday night is couple's night, but the vast majority of the female customers are tame here, for the most part. Not all, and they aren't perfect, but compared to other clubs I've worked at, these women could be borderline saints. Saturday can be easy money if you're okay with hustling the ladies. There's a swingers club just up the road, so a lot of their clientele will come to the Lodge for their pre party on Saturday. A lot of the couples who come in then are the kind who get off on seeing their partner get seduced by someone else, making them really easy to make money off of. It's basically a two-for-one deal -- one hustle, two customers who each want their own string of lap dances. If the swingers don't come in, Saturday can be a little more iffy, but as long as you're okay with approaching ladies, it should still be better than any of the weekdays. If your schedule allows for it though, I'd definitely recommend working either a Friday or a Saturday, either shift. If you can only dance during the week, Wednesday/Thursday are both good. Sunday and Monday are dead -- if you work either of those days, it's going to be for the stage skip pass they give you on Sunday, or the $40 they give you on Monday if you work the day shift. There's some money to be made, but if you don't have regulars, you're probably going to be working for well under the minimum wage. I usually work Tuesday because I can't motivate myself to work four days in a row, and I don't want to work either a Sunday or a Monday. Otherwise, I'd definitely go for the Wednesday-Saturday work week.

Is anybody in the area at Cabaret North in Fort Worth or have been there recently? How is the night shift there?

I went there as a customer on a Sunday night while visiting FW a few weeks ago. It was super dead and all of the girls there were pretty busted looking/overweight. The crowd seemed kinda unappealing as well.. like wanna be thug types? Maybe just an off night.. idk. No one approached us the entire time we were there. My boyfriend said it gets busy on friday and saturday nights though. He also said he got offered extras a lot in the VIP when he went for a bach party but i dunno if they're actually going on. I wasn't impressed and decided not to work there

Cabaret east and north are both slow/dead. Weekends are busier, and Tuesday is stripper cage fighting night --two girls enter a ring and box each other. Winner takes all, which is something like $100 plus whatever the customers throw in the ring during the fight. Some girls will strike up a deal with each other to put on a good show so guys throw in more money, in exchange for splitting the money 50-50. It's definitely a night shift club. You can make money on stage if you can twerk/have an ass to shake. Guys are grabby and expect extras in vip, so if you're not willing to oblige, be ready for a lot of rejections and one dance wonders. There's some money to be made, especially if you can give the guys the booty shaking stage show they're wanting, but the customers themselves tend to be pretty sparse and iffy when they're there. If it's not a Tuesday night/a weekend, I'd suggest saving the money you'd be spending on a house fee and just stay home. Otherwise, it's worth a shot at least. As always (and especially with cabarets east and north), ymmv.

Are you talking about VLive? LOL
I always see my friend post stacks of money or lots od it getting thrown on stage yet I've always wondered why his on/off again girlfriend doesn't work there if the money looks that good. I know they spoke of them picking up all the tips and distributing accordingly which I thought was buuuuulllllshiiiiit.
I haven't danced in a few years but have heard it's gone quite downhill for most clubs. Been to The Lodge and Mens on the weekends and it always looks like a bust. Babydolls is always packed though.
