I got an email from John from iWantClips saying that he noticed that I'm signed up but haven't uploaded any clips yet and wanted to know if he could help me get started.
I asked him what their policy on watermarks is since most of my videos are watermarked with a subdomain of my website that redirects to where people can buy my clips. His response was:
"We welcome all content and have no policies about watermarks on our site. We’d obviously prefer if it didn’t promote competition such as clips4sale or kinkbomb, but even at that point we allow them :) "
I thought that policy was pretty cool but then I remembered this thread and thought I'd check back to see if anyone's gotten any sales there yet. Anyone having any luck with this site yet? Is their new traffic they've been talking about doing any good? From what I'm seeing here so far I'm probably just gonna forget about this one and focus my clip uploading efforts elsewhere.
I got that email too. I told him I couldn't log in and he was like you never finished the sign up process. He sent me a link to finish it. I know I never finished and I thought I could just log in and finish it but nooo it's a separate link I need.

I just started a site similar to this, however we start out at 65% commission, you don't need to make 2k first.
Also chargebacks will never touch you - we are going to take the hit instead.
I find the way this email was written is very impersonable - I have been handwriting every email to everyone I've tried to recruit for the site. Does a site which copy paste and mass sends emails really better than one which personally speaks to each and every model who joins up?

Hi there ladies!
I was starting to fill out my application to work there but I decided to come here and see how your experience has been....
Think i m gonna wait, I can do more content and upload it on c4s and elm, I don t do great on those sites but sounds better than this i want clips site..lol at least for now!

I've had pretty good success there. I also like that you can upload PDF's (I like sending slave contracts and stories) as well as pics and videos. Sales have been worth it to keep uploading!

Traffic is like 700 hits per day.. mostly models logging in to see why they haven't sold anything.
On a more positive note I do like the idea of 5% more, and it's not even a year old. They can definitely gain ground on C4S and others if they play their cards right.

Does anybody have any updates on this site? Have sales picked up?

I asked to have my account canceled because I felt it was a waste of time, and then I made a sale. I've sold two clips in three months. The only reason I'm adding clips is so i can make payout.

For the past week or so, I can't do anything on the site. Whatever I try to do, all I get is a screen to sign in or a grey screen where I can't click on anything. Is this the death of Iwantclips?

Also on checking out their form, they don't allow anyone over 45 to sign up either. Interesting...
That's kind of ridiculous. How many studio owners over 45 make tons on c4s?? Lots! Why are they limiting their market?
Well they wouldn't want me anyway then! I forgot about this, being busy with other things.
Trying to add a few more clips sites and thought I'd check back on this one. I notice they have removed the age limitation now.
Anyone notice traffic picking up here or is it still dead?

In my experience, there is some traffic, however the site customers are very much a niche market. The only stuff that seems to sell there is FemDom.

I sell a variety of Femdom content , I do well on C4S and the other places I sell content on . I've been there since May of last year My experiences thus far :
enjoy the option of a star rating ( all 5's)
I really like the layout of the site
It's very easy to use
easy categorization of content , much like C4S .
option to not offer a preview and allows animated GIF
new uploads are prominently displayed on front page
I really like their front page , is very friendly to both model and customer in terms of visibility .
Was invited to join " recognizes me as a top content producer"
Started Making payouts in January after putting effort into my studio , had a baby in May so it was slow to get Myself established there as I was BFing exclusively .
Every payout received thus far has been late ( I'm paid monthly , I don't rely on that income thank God but content is My only job so =-/ ) when I say late I mean middle of the month like the 16th when "payouts are processed on the 2nd" .
Made $466 in the month of March
No idea when I'll get that .
My store is not promoted there at all , not a retweet ( we follow each other I "@" them ) , not a banner , site says they promote "established" studios , whatever that Means I have over 35+ clips available .
details of My late payouts were um , interesting ...
This is my experience , just hoping someone finds it helpful or informative and appreciate anyone else's input especially on the payout situation . =)

If you are a seller, and have a website/blog/free webpage whatever, you are looking at this wrong when you are looking at the sales aspect. As someone who promotes some femdom/fetish content, the payout rates /benefits of that site are very good, and so far it has staying power. BUT like I said, if you have a website/page etc. you want to be listed on a lot of these sites whether you make sales on them or not. They can drive traffic from that site, to your website, and to your other clip sales sites. If I guy finds a model he likes, he will likely want to find out more, so even if you don't have a site of your own and just clip stores, you are on google! So it drives traffic that way as well. These big clip sale sites bring a lot of linking power within google as well, which means more traffic, and more sales as a law of averages. Lastly, whether or not you actually make sales on one site does not mean the site you are not selling on is not driving sales to another site that you ARE getting good sales on. If you are just in this for a few bucks here and there, the sales aspect is a reasonable argument of selling on one site or another, but if you are promoting yourself you need to have more visibility and selling on multiple sites gives you just that. You could also leverage prices and release dates across several sites to sort of tilt sales towards the site that you prefer as well....

Well I have about 1000 clips there and there is not much going on really. They said they would heavily promote me, but they didn't.
I asked about it and they said I stopped uploading content, so they don't think they have to do anything for me (kinda like that, I could search for the email.)
I answered that I have 1000 clips already there and that all sales I made came from my customer base that I brought over, so they should really do something as well.
I also started updating again to show some initiative.
Since then they post about me on their twitter every Friday, mostly the same message promoting one of my shorter clips, which has been a top seller on c4s when it came out. Have not sold it on iwc.
Did not request a payout yet or connect a bank account. I am curious as to how much they say I got on there, because the statistics on that are totally messed up due to them changing processors in the beginning.
Lately received an email from their head developer that the team were not being paid for 7 months or so and that they would be gone soon. Iwc responded that the guys were blackmailing them and that interpol, the fbi and whatnot were being informed. I contacted the guys and they seem fine to me. They did not do any damage to iwc and just left.
So, I am actually doubting that a tweet every Friday counts as promotion at all. Have not noticed anything else yet. I have links to them on my site which probably gets more visitors to my store there than they do. It has been really really dead for a long time now...
I like some of their features, but the update list is just a huge disadvantage. No time, no date, no clip name, just studios chasing each other out of a 30 spot list. You hardly stay in there for a minute and it's not working to promote yourself.

Why the actual fuck cant these guys get it together?!
Are there any theories as to why exactly none of these alternatives to C4S can ever offer anything decent?
I am about to spread myself onto other platforms but hearing this makes me lose faith in other options.
Geez its a payment adult industry processing ecommerce site....not rocket science.

Part of the problem may be high turnover rates at the company itself or just not much staffing at all. I have had advertising agreements with some of this clip sale sites and usually everything goes fine for a maybe up to 6 months and then they stop sending checks, don't answer e-mails, and everything else to tell you anything. Or 6 months after that someone will finally answer an old e-mail and say that the person you e-mailed doesn't work their anymore etc etc. That is even with the big well known companies. The internet, especially these niches are still pretty flakey. Alot will also run a bunch of great promos for awhile, it brings people in, and soon after then end up focusing on a chosen few and go heavy with them. I really haven't heard a lot of bad things about them up until finding this thread, so I don't know their particular problem, but I will say they were one to follow that exact the script I outlined but the big one did also.

about that promotion thing , so every single day and today in particular I notice a bunch of rt on my twitter TL from IWC , a lot of these are from studios that look fairly new to me or that I had never heard of ( been around for a little while ) good for them . Around the time I wrote my first post on IWC I also messaged them as to how I , too can be promoted on twitter since we follow each other , I was asked to include a link to My store in my twitter bio . Did that . I also had to submit My banner and ask for it to be added to rotation .
Since April and asking IWC has done nothing by means of promotion for me . I asked again last week how I can be apart of the twitter promotions and was told basically " good job for having our link in your bio , we do promotions based on content count and sales , why don't you use our customs option ? promote OUR SITE by offering clips here first and maybe offering a discount "
So what I got out of that is make is promote us MORE before we consider promoting you ...
So basically, I prefer Clips4sale in terms of promotion and not being a popularity contest , their setup seems a lot more "fair" to me , I guess to the point that I don't know that the 200 late dollars or so a month I earn there is worth the hassle .

It's a pain in the ass that they're like that. I'm currently uploading 100 of my clips to their site as I finally got the paperwork sorted and I'm wondering why I bother with these other sites. With clipvia owing me over 2k in payouts since last year (they've emailed promising that it's all sorted and everyone will get paid this month, we will see) and now hearing this it seems like c4s is really the only site worth working on.
In saying that, Goddess Jessica has a pinned tweet of her IWC earning for June at the moment, apparently $16.5k. But that could be a result of them promoting her and a few select others consistently and also the fact that she has a pretty large fan base anyway. When I first saw it, it was motivating to me, it made me think 'well there is money to be made there, I just have to work hard and get it'. Since reading this thread, I'm not so sure that it is realistically going to work that way...

I have also heard that findom thing elsewhere so there could be more to it. I also heard that most promotion comes through the top models and iwc does not do a lot of marketing themselves.
From my experience, in the beginning, it was pretty diverse in terms of clips uploaded. Then it got full of goddess stuff. Nothing against the goddesses, but it has become pretty one-sided.
Payouts like 16.5k are certainly not normal or achievable by everyone. I have made $20 on iwantclips last month, but I guess you believe that without me posting my paycheck ;)

"Clip sales" is a deceptive term. Clip sites are also payment processors, so as far as Findom (Financial Domination) goes, tributes can be sent through sites like Kinkbomb and IWC. So a FinDomme can recieve$25/$50/$100+ a pop. Financial Domination is really one of the tightest fits for clip sites because it is sort of a bridge between a video and cam and a FinDommes also do a lot of custom clips which are generally $100 on up.
sophianz
07-02-2015, 06:37 PM
That is exactly what I thought.
$16K is all fine and well but I wouls take a stab and say that at least half of that was tributes.
Nothing wrong with that of course but to get hung up on it if you do not do FD is going to be sucky for your confidence etc

I agree. The problem is though, the sites are naturally going to promote high earners. I think they would do well to do more to help others get to that level, but again, even in a fickle industry, they are a storefront, and in a lot of cases can only try to get people to look, not actually buy. A lot of these ladies also got their start on other sites, and when these new clip sale sites open, they can bring (say in the case of the Aforementioned Model) 400 videos worth of content.

Who knows. Good for her if it is her site, that's a great way to make some money and it is a lovely, user friendly site. Seems like a really cool, smart way for a clip producer to invest her money into an industry she understands.
My store went live last night and I made $20 , nothing compared to C4S but I was expecting to get no sales at all for a decent amount of time. I figure if I'm already filming, editing and uploading to 2 other sites, what's one more? I'm going to disable my kinkbomb too, as I already much prefer IWC. I agree with that as well. Personally, I don't know if I believe that and have done business with the site before. I was just wondering if it was true. I was looking for something else when I found this thread, totally unrelated, but I'm distracted easy by shiny things. I started chiming in just to say that whether or not you make big sales on one of these sites or not there are several benefits to putting videos up and having a presence on all of them. I have a whitelabel cam thing going on where I simply made no money off it for a year, was about to take it down, and sudenly out of nowhere its kicking up a couple of hundred dollars every 2 weeks. It's an odd fickle niche business and hard to predict.

Hey Riley! Do you offer a mix of fetish and femdom on your KB or what? I did a test and my femdom sells so much better on KB than my fetish, which is negligible. Still, I make in a day on c4s what I make on KB in a month.
RileyStewart
07-03-2015, 08:30 PM
I have been listing a mix. I know it seems silly but I just can't be fucked with updating it etc when the sales are so poor compared to other sites.
I'd rather just focus on the 3 I do make good money on. I also feel that if I'm not gonna be uploading frequently then I don't want my old stuff just stagnating on there. Sure, someone could come through and buy the whole lot or something crazy in the future if I left it there but I'd rather present myself really well on 3 other sites and completely remove myself from kinkbomb.
Clips4sale is the best. I love it so much.
Just had a little flurry of sales on IWC again, I'm getting excited about this site. I have barely promoted it, only adding it to my twitter bio with my other stores and it's already getting a little pot of gold developing. I'm only uploading femdom, feet and smoking clips there, figured fetish would be a bit of a waste of time.
How are others finding it? Any feedback on their payout system?

My payouts are so mixed up in the backend that I can't see how much money I have earned. I never had a payout as far as I know, but it shows payouts. However, this is due to the payment processor changes of iwc. New stores should not have these issues. I just sent an email asking how much money they think I have actually earned.
I have been on there for a year with basically as many clips as on c4s. I made about 1.6% of the amount I made on c4s.
They just don't have the visitor power at the moment and what I hate about that is that I can't see any statistics on how many people visit my "store" or looked at my clips.
When I know the amount of money they think I have and it's close to what I estimate, I might try the coupon system again to get a few more people to my store.
Edit: Otherwise I might just pay out and try another site. They did not develop their categories, they just copied the huge list from c4s and then added some, even redundant ones (now we have "pee" and "pee fetish").
The only thing developing, as I see it, is Princess, Goddess, Findom, Domination stuff. Look at the update list. Every second entry starts with a Goddess or Princess

The people I see doing well on IWC are dommes who heavily promote it and drive their own traffic there. They offer a higher % but not enough to make it worth it to me. I get most of my traffic from c4s, it doesn't seem right to redirect it to IWC. I wish they were better as I like their site in many ways, but it seems like just another femdom-centric clip site without innate traffic.
RileyStewart
07-07-2015, 01:28 PM
Right now I'm focusing my effort, as always on c4s as that is where my main source of income is. I'm uploading every domination video I make to my IWC store and not any of my fetish clips as it is clearly not worth the time.
I have deleted my content from kinkbomb and am thinking of doing the same for my clipvia as they owe me so many back payments (close to 2k) and still no word on getting them. Also clipvia's site layout is horrible, so difficult to use and I can't imagine customers wanting to return to wade through such a badly designed site.
I'm making, as a rough average, $50 a day on IWC so it's worth it for me so far. It will be interesting to see if/when payouts come. I'm a fan of the site so far and I've had good feedback from my fans who use it, they like that they can stream the video immediately. All in all,I'm glad I finally signed up. I doubt it will ever be as profitable as clips4sale, but it's definitely a nice little profitable side venture for those that do femdom etc anyway.

Have you only posted your femdom stuff to IWC from the get-go, Riley?
RileyStewart
07-07-2015, 01:38 PM
Yeah I have Sophia. CEI, SPH, Humiliation, findom etc etc. I uploaded a couple of smoking clips and a couple of tongue fetish clips but other than that, all femdom content. From what I read in here, it seemed like the best way to do it.
Also worth noting, I have done nothing to drive traffic there myself yet. So the guys who browse the site are clearly looking for exactly that type of content, so when they see an update on the front page they are curious.
It might slow down once I'm not a new face, but I'm queuing all of my femdom content so the store is updated roughly once a day and so far it's ticking along nicely.
You have heaps of femdom stuff Sophia so it could be worth opening a store and sticking to uploading only that to get the subs who shop there interested :)

Hey y'all! Long time lurker here:)
I was thinking of opening up a clips store at IWC and was doing my research first.
I came across this:
I'm 100% sure it's about IWC and it was a cool read actually.
Learning about the behind the scenes of a clips store.
However, what concerned me was the owner mentioned:
1. "Top" studios get a bigger percentage payout b/c they moved their clips to IWC (I'm thinking they came from C4S and solely push their clips on IWC)
2. The "consultant" he mentions in the AMA is I believe Bratty Nikki (which people have mentioned her before in this thread). The owner states she gets a percentage of IWC's revenue.
From a business stand point, I get it but is it wrong for me to feel like this is unfair?
And the thought of another domme getting a cut from my sales rubs me the wrong way.
Nothing against anyone at all but just thinking...
I think I'm just going to stick to C4S due to traffic and the long-history of establishment.
I rather get paid less as far as the studio pay out and get MORE traffic with C4S.
Thoughts? Or perhaps it's possible to negotiate your payout % if your clips are doing crazy sales? Hmmm...

Yes, they offer higher payout percentage to certain studios. I was paid a higher payout while I had my studio there. They only offer high payouts to top selling established studios/girls.. but you also have to sign a contract with them to get it.
Yes, it's Nikki.

He is a huge consumer of femdom clips and he buys there quite often...so he logged in his account and then the paged refreshed itself and landed him in some model account...can you just imagine that? Your account details with your real name and address...She is lucky he is a good boy.
Now I am not so sure about them, sounds like the worst nightmare. woah
