He's threatening to take me to an eye doc today. And thank you Sha. My vision is fine, I think. Only recently has it been a pill to read certain text from a distance (think reading terms of service on a tv screen while sitting on the couch). I imagine that being a little rough for anyone. But I actually want to go and see what the eye doc says.
The irony is that i wear fake glasses on cam everyday, just frames with clear lenses. Imagine actually needing a prescription smh.
Haha, well...an eye exam would be a good first step. I've had glasses since jr year HS. I just remember squinting so hard sitting in the back of the room. I didn't have any headaches, but usually squinting can produce headaches.
Let BF take you. It would be a good thing to rule out the possibility. Curious, how much water do you drink a day? And also, where is the headache located? Sometimes a lot of stress can cause a tension headache.

I have no idea. We blow through so much water in this house but i still feel like it's not enough. I most definitely could drink more. But the pain is right behind my eyes.
I can feel a little heartbeat 1) right at my temple, both sides 2) and at the point where my nose and eye meet 3) under my eyebrow. I'm about to take some Tylenol pm and knock myself out.

You know Nita, it sounds like a tension headache. Ruling out vision problems could be good. And de-stressing could help. You're already doing a good thing by reducing the amount of light you're exposed to, so yeah...right on.

Money is a big stressor, I have to watch my response to bills because I've been known to fall into a suicidal depression when I'm having money troubles. I've been really good at recognizing my triggers and managing any reactive emotions though. So, at worst, I'll get lethargic and quiet - a far cry better than my reaction to shit in the past. But still not the space I want to be in. Balancing my schedule around three kids has me constantly feeling like I'm dropping the ball also.
So money and the way my long shifts are clashing with the kids homework - just for me to still not be making money - has my energy all types of fucked up. That nap helped immensely but it's basically bedtime now so I'm just gonna crawl off the couch and get some real sleep.

^^Sounds like the headaches might be from stress. It sounds like mentally you have them under control but it's manifesting physically. But I wouldn't rule out the eye exam just yet. Your stress is what I'm experiencing currently: financial. I feel you.

racked out for about 15 hours in all yesterday because i had to take a muscle relaxer. can't believe i used to be on 3 per day! this is the first one i've had to take in months and i'm was a zombie for hours after waking up. ick!

After foolishly lifting groceries twice this week, I now have a bad backache.
I could feel it coming on yesterday, when my neck and lower back started aching.
At first I thought it was because of the impending rain that's coming. But, that never happened.
My entire right side of my back and right arm is numb too. Right down to my fingers.
Nerve damage from scoliosis, degenerative disc, and arthritis is the cause.
As much as I bitch about the heat. It's the cooler temps that cause my body to ache.
Not looking forward to Winter. I can already tell it's going to be colder than usual.:'(

Ugh my stupid period is def on it's way bc I'm so dam sleepy these last few days. Makes it hard to work blah. I literally need coffee everyday to function lol my depression has ceased though since traveling yay.

^^I've only experienced cramps on my period once in my adult life & it legit felt like contractions. I took Tylenol extra strength, but it'd be interesting to hear what other ladies use.

I take progesterone in an olive oil base.. even take it on my period.. I think heavy periods and cramps are caused by high estrogen.. go to a website called Health Natura, or Forefront Health.. you rub a few drops on your gums.. I rarely get cramps anymore when I take it, or heavy periods.

I love the one that I am taking currently because I have noticed a huge improvement in my energy levels, mental focus and ability to stay calm during stressful times. Unfortunately there is no potassium in the current multi-vitamin and there isn't the other herbs such as black kohosh, etc.
The sales woman at the health foods store set me up with the supplement "Female Comfort" from Nature's Sunshine. I am hoping this will help.
I managed to work my shift last night, after taking a nap, taking ibuprofen and using a heating pad.
Thankfully last night one of my regulars was understanding when I told him that I couldn't do his type of show. He hung out and chatted for a bit and then tipped gold in free chat. I modeled the boots he bought for me. He eventually came back because he couldn't sleep :) He took me to exclusive block.
The rest of the night was fetish and femdom shows.

^^I'm exclusive with SM. I remember being sick back in Dec 18 and blowing my nose and sneezing a lot. The guys on cam were like "are you ok?" I was like "yeah, just a cold" and I still made sales. Good for you for powering through. You'll make it. Sending healing vibes.

Are you feeling anxiety over a certain issue or is it just a generalized anxiety (in your body and headspace)?

I'm sorry you feel that way. Magnesium. I always take one when my anxiety is high. Other than that, breathing. Decatastrophizing whatever might give you anxiety right now could help too. Other than that I don't know but I'm sending you a hug.

It's definitely over income. I'm stressed out that I won't make enough to live which is a fear I have often. I try not to think about that as I know with LOA you can manifest that. But it's definitely over finances. It's really slow for me right now on cam and I'm worried I won't get enough shows to support myself.

When the anxiety is over a certain issue I will give myself a set worry time- just to worry- I know it sounds corny. Then I will focus on solutions- is there anything I can do about the situation? Is it in my control or is out of my hands? If I can do something then I will brainstorm a list of things that I can take action on it. Then create a plan and do it.
If it is generalized where I feel it in my body/headspace - I remind myself to focus on one thing at a time. ( I get overstimulated really easy)
Taking some deep breaths-is helpful.
If you have an icepack grab put in your hands for a couple of minutes- it will give your brain a wake up to get back to the present moment.
Do you take a multi-vitamin? or any other supplements?

Yes, you're right: set aside time to worry then create a plan. I just did a spreadsheet to see if I'm making enough verses bills and I am, but it's still this fear I have. I just need to do my hours and it'll be ok. But I do need to set aside time to just worry. I don't do that. I just let stuff overwhelm me. Thanks. This is good advice.
I do take a women's multivitamin. I haven't taken it today yet. I'll take it.

This what a lot of us are experiencing is temporary.
Something that I realized within the last month is to let go of the attachment and trust the Universe (God or whatever you believe) that it will all work out. (Of course we have to do the work that is necessary)
About a month or two ago I was talking to a cam model friend- that banks on a regular basis- they told me they never sweat a slow day.
It happens. I think worry blocks us from receiving.
When we get into high emotional states- our amaglyda shuts down and it makes us stupid (literally.)
I will edit this post here in a bit after I find some videos that helped me to understand this. (I still do have my moments but they don't happen as often as they used to.

Yes, I have to think about it as temporary and live in the high vibe joy so that I can manifest good days. I'm trying to turn off the bad vibe and experience the good vibe.
Yes, the worry will block me from receiving. This is such a struggle for me. Thanks for reminding me. And the bad days never...since I've been camming, stopped me from paying my bills.
I've meditated on the Ho'oponopono and I'll do it again. And if you can send me the links to the videos I'd appreciate that.

I think you should try splitcamming, Sha. It has greatly improved my morale. Even if you don't want to split your attention between SM and some other site then try sites like CMD where the guy has to pay for the whole session beforehand. That way you have an egg just sitting in the background. Either way I really think another site outside of SM would serve you well. Especially with it being slow.

Just read that article and all I can say is how gross lol. Seriously, I want to be outraged but surprise is the dominant emotion right now.
The thing about attempting to capitalize on my depression is that most of my anxiety comes from money problems. So if I'm shooting a video (in an attempt to make money from it) that little twinge of hope is going to put my negative emotions on pause. The whole clip would be corny asf, like those weirdos who pull out a camera just to cry. At no point do I stop to think, "my dog just died, my grandma is breathing through a tube in her ass, and i'm getting kicked out of my apartment tomorrow.....let me film this tear".

Probably not since the typical D.I.D is facing a physical stressor that could cause her bodily harm. You might be able to spin it creatively though. Like, act out a scene of someone breaking into your home and you go through to emotions of trying to hide....oh, no, he's coming into the room.....will he catch me under the bed??....close ups on your facial expressions and terror.....blah blah blah. That kind of anxiety. But a physical danger might need to be present for that category.

Light sensitivity has been kicking my rear. If i leave the house i immediately have nasty headaches and when i changed the bulbs in the kitchen i had to replace them again because my head felt like it would explode in just the 30 minutes it took to cook some food. The blue light glasses i purchased a while back work great for the computer, but they're readers so now i need some without the magnification. may opt for contacts, as there are some on the market now. photophobia is a biiiitch!

If i leave the house i immediately have nasty headaches and when i changed the bulbs in the kitchen i had to replace them again because my head felt like it would explode in just the 30 minutes it took to cook some food. The blue light glasses i purchased a while back work great for the computer, but they're readers so now i need some without the magnification. may opt for contacts, as there are some on the market now. photophobia is a biiiitch!
I got some night driving glasses that I use occasionally in the house as well. Not sure if that would help for you or not.

Man, not doing well. Woke at midnight with great energy, hit high goal, then anxiety through the roof. I took Benadryl & my anxiety med to calm down, but I just feel so wound up.
I was gonna try for 10 hrs today, but after 4 & this bad anxiety I'm in bed. I just wanna nap. I'm exhausted for certain, but this nervous energy won't let up.
I've meditated, drank kava tea, & had a banana.
Anyone have any suggestions to help me calm down?

I've meditated, drank kava tea, & had a banana.
Anyone have any suggestions to help me calm down? Do you have Epsom Salts? The super cheap unscented ones from the Dollar Store work well. Anyway pour a crapload (at least 3 cups ) into a hot bath,turn off any lights and either complete silence or some quiet meditation music. Epsom Salt is magnesium so it will physically help you relax and the peaceful environment of the tub will help mentally.

After I hit high goal my body started vibrating pretty bad. I could only think it' must be anxiety. But it feels like I'm wired & I'm a bit afraid. Like I want to jump out of my skin.
I'm functioning on 4 or 5 hrs rest when I'm used to 9 or 10.
I think anxious energy.

I can tell you from experience that mixing day and night shifts can really do a number on you. It's like having constant jet lag. I would bet anything that is your problem right now. I think you would feel so much better with a regular schedule.

Yes. I am NOT supposed to stream at night. It fucks me up, but when I miss a good day shift it's heavy on my mind (financially) so I do a night to catch up. This is the worst. I'm really paying for it.
I'll have to be more disciplined & just plan to catch up during the day. Man, I don't know how other ladies do it.

I'll have to be more disciplined & just plan to catch up during the day. Man, I don't know how other ladies do it.
I do night shift. I don't fluctuate my schedule much, even on days off. It fucks up my body rhythm. Of course sometimes stuff comes up where I'm forced to get up early. I take naps when that happens but it still throws me off.
I'm sure you will find your rhythm. It takes time.
