I have a potential customer who says he can only use dropbox as he can't download clips (no PC)...I'm wary about how safe it is to use, does anyone have any views on it please?

i've been using this site for years & just tell my custies they have to have a computer to download it. haven't lost any sales as a result. usually they figure out a way to make it happen.

Mfc share was really easy to set up. However someone recommended me to wetransfer and it works great x

Is wetransfer adult industry friendly?

I have no idea. Haven't looked into it as yet as just needed somewhere quickly to send a couple of customs. I think you have to pay to do much more than simply send a link.

If I am going to store them I think i will be using mfc share as it seems the most similar to PM.

I am also looking at different file transfer options with ProjectMaenad shutting down :'( I created a Dropbox account but have not yet used it with anyone who I specifically did not trust already. This is how I set it up though:

To create a shareable link to a Dropbox folder or link

1. Create an account that does not use your personal email address. Make you're okay with the account email, name, and photo being shared with buyers (not saying they specifically will be, but better to be safe).
2. Create a folder for the shareable content. I recommend creating a separate folder for each video/picset/bundle you plan to offer. If you are using a Free plan, create a separate folder for each buyer to prevent buyers seeing who else it's shared with. Do NOT add buyers as a member to any folder -- only share the link (described next).
3. Setup the share settings for each folder by hovering over the file name and clicking the Share button that appears, then 'Create a link.' A link will be created to the entire folder and 'Create a link' will be replaced by other text so that you can edit its settings.
4. In the link settings, set a password and link expiration date. Confirm that anyone with this link can view (but not edit) the folder.
5. Test it by sending a shared link to someone you trust and confirming that all visible info is okay to be visible.

For bundles, picsets, or videos with a preview or screencap, you'll want to use a folder. However, if you want to share an individual file (just the video, one erotica text file, etc.) then you can manage the link settings on the item-level instead of the folder-level. In that case, in step 3 hover over the specific file you want to send instead of a folder name. Everything else is the same.

If you create a new account with , you and I both with will get 500MB of space (a Free account starts with 2GB, which is not enough for anybody).

Note that Dropbox is not really SW-friendly, saying that , so use at your own risk.

You agree not to misuse the Dropbox services ("Services") or help anyone else to do so. For example, you must not even try to do any of the following in connection with the Services:
- publish or share materials that are unlawfully pornographic or indecent, or that contain extreme acts of violence or terrorist activity, including terror propaganda;

I contacted box.com and they said they do not allow any pornographic material.

What is MFCs policy on content uploaded to their site? Do they claim ownership of it like Streamate does?

I'm using MFC share. It's actually pretty comparable to Project Maenad, you can send anyone a link to download and they don't need to have an MFC account.

I was wondering this too, since I'm going to use MFC Share more this year. Here's some info on it:
