What do you think of a full D, maybe DD on a kind of fit looking size 4-6 at 5'5"? As I've mentioned, I'm dieting and trying to get back to a solid 4 from the waist down. Would that read big enough to the average customer?
^^^ Personally I'm 5'3" size 4 and started to get seriously 'noticed' in clubs once I got to full DD's 800cc. The 500cc D cups I had first weren't really big enough to attract a whole lot of customer attention ( due to other girls in the clubs having bigger implants ). Since I started dancing with 500cc D cups I can't say for sure how much less I might have earned had I danced without them.
However, if you'll wind up being the only girl in your club with D cups and a tight trim body, this should work out well for you !!! But DD's thus a full-on 'Barbie' image would probably make you 'bulletproof' relative to club competition, as Tempest pointed out earlier.

How long does it take to recover from subsequent surgeries? That's my only gripe is all my progress being lost in a hail of (imaginary) blubber.

^^^ for my last re-do, I took exactly two ( split in half ) pain pills post-op before switching to plain Tylenol. I was up and around the next day and in front of a camera again in less than a week. I wouldn't have attempted live dancing, though, primarily due to the infection risk of incisions that weren't yet fully healed.
Redos are a LOT less traumatic to the body, since the original process of cutting and suturing to create a breast pocket doesn't need to be repeated.

^^^ I waited 4 weeks for my incisions to fully heal before I did any serious upper body stuff. But I was back on my treadmill and stair-climber within 2 weeks ... thanks to learning the trick of wearing double workout tops, and stuffing gauze pads in my workout top to keep perspiration away from my incisions !!!

I'd go on the smaller side. I think that seems more "innocent". I wish I went smaller. My bras are all ugly, I don't fit in hardly any bathing suits, and I have to dress totally different so I don't look like a hooker just tryin to run errands. Plus it seems more youthful to me. And remember you can always add size later and stretch your skin. To go down size you will need a lift or prepare for them not to be as perky!
How big did you go? I'm planning on getting mine near the end of the summer. I'm small (5'2" and always somewhere between 100-110 lbs) and want boobs that are big enough to look big but not so big that they make life complicated. Like, I still want to be able to buy bras from Victoria's Secret lol. Since I'm smaller maybe I could get boobs that look huge on my frame but aren't bigger than a DD or so.

Since you're tiny I'd go with anything around 400 get a moderate profile too much more natural looking. They will still be round and perky tho. Def get the silicone and absolutely go to an expensive surgeon. Do not look for cheap plastic surgery or deals! My best advise really.
I'm 5'5 115-120 first boobs 575 saline hp awful went to cheap plastic surgeon, second boobs 1200 saline hp I looked like a damn clown and they felt like rocks, third boobs where I'm at now 800 or 850 I can't remember mod + silicone they look and feel a million times better then before but they are still way too big for my body and make me look bigger over all. Wish I had just gone for some nice c-d range I'm currently in a ff bra from nordstroms all my bras are 100$+.
I think that's shitty of Melanie to just assume that I don't like clothes because I can't afford tailoring. HaHaHa you don't even know me Mel. Honestly who wants to go to a tailor everytimethey buy a shirt. I'm talking about convenience. Which there is none with over sized racks. No buying something you pick up have to try on everything. No cute vs swimsuits or bras. Hell any cute swimsuits or bras from any store I walk into I know I shouldn't even try cause the tops are gonna be way too small.
Another point ladies you gotta think about the kind of guys your attracting in your personal life too. Yes you get extra attention in the clubs which means money but your not in the club 24-7. What kind of guys do you date OTC when your boobs are huge? These are things you have to think about which did not occur to me untill after.

Obviously, my comments weren't aimed at you personally. All I was trying to point out is that many of the 'classic complaints' about ill-fitting 'off the rack' sizes are indeed curable via custom-tailored or specialty shop purchases. Thus IMHO if there is a 'solution' available, but a particular big-boobed dancer chooses to take the less expensive route of 'off the rack' shopping, it's not really fair to complain about ill-fitting clothing as if it were a problem for every girl that get's large breast implants !!!
in regard to the carry-over of really big implants into a dancer's personal life, there is a reason that the IRS allowed a business expense tax deduction for implants bigger than 1000 cc ... and this is it !!! Thus the topic really comes down to dancers deciding whether they want to make a 'serious professional' effort at maximizing their dancing income potential, versus striking a compromise between somewhat increased dancing income versus 'manageable' levels of negative carry-over into their personal life. I'm not attempting to 'diss' anybody who chooses the latter, but that choice is arguably contrary to the 'serious, professional' dancer discussion I embarked on.

You can't insinuate that a dancer isn't professional or doesn't take her job seriously because they don't get large implants. It's a fetish market. that'd be like saying every girl that doesn't get a shit load of tattoos isn't professional because a small percentage of customers prefer it. It's irresponsible to make those claims.
Bottom line you can make a shit load of money with huge implants or without, but be informed of the consequences of your choices.

^I have to agree with that. I have been working with an A/B cup since I started dancing at 19. I was averaging $14,000+ a month in LA, I was one of the top earners at my club, and it was filled with girls who had breast implants. I make sure the rest of my body is amazing and my boobs are super perky by ALWAYS wearing a bra (I don't know if there's any scientific proof to this, but I've had customers ask me if my boobs are fake because they're so perky and I believe it's because I've been sleeping in a bra and wearing one every single day since I was 13). I've gotten compliments on my body from everyone from managers, house moms, customers, other girls, etc. You don't have to have big boobs to take your career as a dancer seriously or to make big $, you have to take your hustle seriously. Contrary to public opinion, not EVERY guy wants to dance with a girl who's boobs are bigger than a D. And in my experience, the top-spending, wonderful high-tipping long regulars are guys who are more interested in your personality and ability to entertain them than just having big boobs. No one is going to do 3+ hours and tip you over a grand just because your boobs are huge.
That said, I want breast implants and plan on getting them, but I'm not going to go bigger than D. I expect it to help my hustle somewhat but don't imagine I'm going to see a huge increase in $, since my customers are generally drawn to me because of my ability to entertain them and converse on various subjects. If breast implants work for your hustle, that's awesome, good for you, but don't tell other girls that they don't take their career seriously because they don't get them...

If you want natural looking ones do dual plane or unders. I'm guessing that you're going with silicone since the OP has minimal tissue to start with.
The only reason mine look natural for saline is because I had saggy C's to begin with.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Getting fake tits is like wearing Kevlar in a war zone. Do you need it to survive? Certainly not. Does it increase your chances of survival? Yes. Does it guarantee them 100%? Absolutely not.
I have repeat customers that come in to see me but I don't necessarily call them regulars. Regulars IME are too much trouble and I don't have the time or the patience to maintain them. My "frequent shoppers" know when I work via Twitter, IG, etc. They always come in and buy dances, occasionally bringing me presents. They tip generously but not overwhelmingly. Since they do keep up with me OTC via social media we always have stuff to talk about. I can sit and converse if I want to but you have to know me for awhile to get that side of me. Other than that it's "Hee Hee I have big boobs!".
Back to the OP: Fake tits are awesome. But IMO going through all that pain and not being able to shit, vomiting and (God forbid) not being able to wipe your own ass for a couple of cup sizes is NOT worth it. It sucked for me. You don't have to get circus tits but at least go for a significant increase. Trust me you will be kicking yourself down the road wishing you had gone bigger. I kick myself every damn day.

What I was assuming was that, in the context of a girl getting implants which are large enough to create negative consequences in her 'normal life' ( a point you raised ! ), such a girl must be a 'serious, professional' dancer. This also directly ties into IRS policy which allows deduction of very large implants as a professional business expense ( versus non-deductibility of average sized breast implants ), on the basis that they DO create negative consequences in 'normal life' and, as such, are strictly of value for business reasons.
Granted that, somewhere or other, there are probably girls who choose to get huge breast implants but who do not plan to 'profit' from them. However, I never met one !
Also please note that I never said that dancers with smaller cup sizes can't / don't take dancing seriously or can't / don't act professionally. And I'll freely admit that a couple of girls I've met who have huge breast implants aren't exactly serious and professional !!!

I'm at the point where I'm just annoyed with large breasted women whining and bitching about not being able to find clothing. Is it some sort of competition for whose life is the hardest? Oh, poor me! My big boobies are the most difficult big boobies in the whole wide world! Wah wah wah.
I get it if you're Melonie's size but she knew what she was getting herself into and doesn't bitch and moan about it.
I've had really large breasts for a whole three months now and I've had no problem buying shirts and bathing suits and cute bras. It's either really not that hard or I am a fucking genius.

^^^ in fairness, outside of big cities, many clothing stores don't carry 'low volume' sizes. But that creates similar problems for both big busted girls as well as slim and trim girls alike !!! Perfect example ... when I visit my mother in upstate NY every pair of size 4 jeans available in any local clothing store looks like it was designed for a young teenager ( no shortage of 'plus size' selections in the women's jeans dep't, though ). However, I never heard a dancer claim that being too slim and trim was 'bad', because it was hard to find properly fitting, appropriately stylish jeans !!!
The fact remains that, via big city or online sources, it IS possible to find properly fitting, stylish clothes for any size bustline. Granted that, in my case, I might wind up spending $80 instead of $40 to buy matching bikinis in both size 12 and size 4, and throwing away the size 4 top and the size 12 bottom ! Similarly, I might wind up spending $80 for a 34M bra from an online specialty seller versus trying to get by with an ill-fitting 36 DDD bra from VS for $40. Bottom line is that the supposed 'problem' is entirely curable ... albeit the 'solution' costs a few extra dollars. I always viewed this situation as a 'good' problem to have, since total extra clothing budget to accommodate my boobs might have added up to $1000 a year, while the extra earnings potential resulting from my boobs certainly added up to $1000 a month ... if not an extra $1000 a week in some cases !
No one is going to do 3+ hours and tip you over a grand just because your boobs are huge.
... well, I could certainly introduce you to a bunch of guys who routinely contradict this assertion. Granted that, even with really big boobs, if the girl's personality is obnoxious it will still send customers running. Also granted that if the dancer carrying an extra 10 pounds of boobs is also carrying an extra 20 pounds in 'other areas', customers may not respond favorably. And also granted that customers who are into 'circus' sized huge boobs are rare in most strip clubs. Indeed, as Twinkle Toes already pointed out, 'circus' sized boobs almost exclusively appeal to a 'fetish' market.
Also, there are certain cities / regions where big boobs are more 'popular' in average strip clubs than in other cities / regions. Perfect example is Manhattan ... where most clubs and customers view girls with really big boobs with an element of disdain. However, this results in a couple of Manhattan clubs 'specializing' in dancers with big boobs ... which in turn means that a large percentage of customers in these clubs love big boobs !!! This is a matter of proper 'marketing'.
Overall, I tend to agree with Tempest ... that below 'circus' sized huge boobs at least, having bigger breasts tends to work in the dancer's favor across the board. In that regard, DDD cups are far from being considered 'circus' sized !!!

I've always worked in Manhattan(still do) and lots of vip guys do request small perky naturals. It's very favorable here. Not to say huge boobs won't make you money, but the men here love slender women with small perky naturals. I wish I went into the business with my small naturals just to compare after augmented but I love me some big titties....so, my BA wasn't for the business.
Even most of the plastic surgeons in Manhattan aren't into doing the super large look.
If anything and imo, huge boobs are more of a favorable west coast look.

Personally I think you may be able to entice the customer to get into the room with your big boobs, but what's going to keep him there, for hours, and make him tip you a ton, is going to be the whole package, not just your tits, because after an hour or so the "oh my god naked boobs" wears off and there has to be another incentive for him to pull out his wallet. I'm not arguing that big boobs don't increase a chance of making $, I just don't think they're the ONLY factor. And by whole package I mean a pretty face, awesome rack, great ass, sparkling personality and an ability to read a customer's needs and tailor your performance to it. Even with your giant knockers Melonie I'm sure you have some hustle skills in your belt that cause you to do well! Don't sell yourself short :(

... yeah, well ... maybe ... LOL !!! After all, at one time I danced with 'mere' D cups and earned decent money.
But I earned even more money with DDD's, and still more money with G cups. Granted that my last redo to M cups killed my ability to 'sell' to average strip club customers ... but the money I was able to earn by being able to tap into the 'circus' sized huge boob 'fetish' market more than made up for it.

Vyanka -- I work in Manhattan and have noticed a lot of slender women with small boobs doing very well, but I'm not slender by stripper standards. I have really thick legs and a big ass. Luckily my waist is small though. No matter how much weight I lose I'll never be slender either because my hipbones are just plain big. Do you think a naturalish looking set of D's would be received badly?
Maybe I'll ask my manager and some hosts for a professional opinion too.

We are the same exact size, and I wanted the same look. I got them for myself, not work (I don't dance... yet) so I wanted them to look pretty much "big for my size" but also possibly natural and easy to hide if I need to. I started w a 32B and wear a 32DD or 30E now. These sizes are the same as a 34D, so not that big. I can still wear VS bras BUT only the DDs that aren't padded or Demi cup because VS runs small (vanity sizing). I got 374cc mid range implants (not high profile but not mods). People in my work life didn't even know until I told them, but they look pretty huge naked or in bathingsuits.

For anyone who's curious, I asked the staff members I have the best rapport with what they thought. The manager said only to do it for personal reasons and furthermore that he prefers to hire natural looking women these days, so you were right in that regard Vyanka. However, other staff members said they get a lot of requests for dancers with big ones.
I'm still leaning toward getting them though. I've mostly been attracted to women with big boobs (real or nice fakes) so I think I would feel sexier with them.

My OP sounds silly in retrospect. I know tons of sweet looking women with big tits. I'm only going to gain another market with them if they turn out alright. Time to diversify! Can't wait to experience having the business of men looking for baby faces, men looking for ass, AND men looking for tits. I could use some more encouragement right now, actually. First day off and alone has me down some unpleasant trains of thought!
Are 425/450 ccs going to look absurd with an existing A/B cup? I was feeling so confident until I started looking at plastic surgery boards where Dr's and patients alike routinely discourage anything over 350ccs as tacky and cartoonish. But for my purposes it'll be better to err on the larger size, right?

Keep in mind that the vast majority of such plastic surgery boards are populated by upper middle class housewives ... whose major concerns are to avoid drawing too much attention to themselves at he PTA, at the shopping mall, etc. Also, keep in mind that the goals of every plastic surgeon catering to the upper middle class housewife market are to A. avoid potential malpractice lawsuits ( you made them too big ! ), and B. to 'sell' repeat surgical procedures ( to make them larger after the housewife discovers that her 300cc implants were NOT noticed after all ! ).
As an exotic dancer, taking such advice at 'face value' can be hazardous to your income ... unless of course you're already prepared for a re-do with larger implants !!!

So I went in for my first in person consult in three years. He's having second thoughts on the mod+'s so he's overnighting HP's in the same size (425 & 450). He said it was because he may have to lower my creases a bit too much for the ones he already ordered. I trust him to make the correct decision but I wish I knew what to expect. Was looking fwd to being able to dress the mod +'s down, but I definitely want a waist. I also thought my areolas were huge but he said he'd need a funnel. Probably a trivial detail though.
Also will be pulling an all nighter since the surgery's at 10:15 AM. Wish me luck ladies.

No worries either way on being able to 'dress them down'. It wasn't until my 3rd re-do when I went over 1000cc that it became difficult to deflect attention away from my bustline.
Also, before the topic even comes up, when you arrive home post-op keep in mind that swelling is adding an extra 1-2 cup sizes versus the final size you'll be when the swelling goes down. Usual progression goes like this ...
- day 1-7 holy s#!t I went way too big !!
- day 8-14 well, maybe not ... they really aren't all THAT big !!
- day 15-21 damn girl you're looking GOOD !!
- day 22+ they're shrinking, I should have gone bigger !!

They usually don't recommend saline for IBTC members because rippling can be more visible.
What's IBTC members..?
And I know I've seen you and others post about that but I still am just not sure if I'm comfortable with silicone in me.. I might just take those chances.

Really? I've been reading girls' boob diary things on Real Self and the ones I've seen have been the opposite! Like the first few days they look small and the girls usually say they wish they went bigger, and then they slowly get bigger and bigger and then they love them! Does it depend on the person I guess?

But I mean the liquid inside could leak into your body and I would feel more comfortable if salt water leaked not silicone

I think you're referring to 'fluffing' ... where the skin stretches enough after a couple of months for the bottom half of the implants to 'round out', which also allows the top half of the implant to assume a more natural slope. This is actually more of a change in 'shape' not an actual change in size. The real size change happens as the post-op swelling goes away 2-3 weeks post-op, resulting in the overall breast volume getting smaller.

BOOBIES!!!!
Everything went so well except that I cried in intake from lack of sleep and overwhelming fear of anesthetic awareness, which was a little embarrassing. First question I asked after was "Did you do it?" Then, "OW!" They immediately upped my dose of painkillers twice and told me to sleep, but I wanted to get up and dance, lol. They were shocked at the amount I required and how lucid and energetic I was, guess it really does affect everyone differently. I don't even want to sleep.
I'm guessing he went with the high profiles and I'm so happy with what little I can tell about them so far. I don't look fat like my mom warned me I might (thanks!), just proportional. Can't wait to get a better look at the size though!
22, they're co-gels which means they won't leak like old school silicone did. They aren't actual gummies, though. I watched so many videos of implant destruction so I feel pretty safe.
I have nothing better to do and a lot of energy, so sorry in advance if I spam too much! Thanks SO much for all the support, this may have been a gut wrenching decision without it.

congrats!!! Can't wait to see what bra size you are.. I was thinking I wana get around 450cc as well but I'll see after I have my consultation next week.
And those won't leak? Maybe I should look into that kind then.. ahh you're making me even more excited i've just been on real self like all day reading girls' boob diary things lol I can't wait!
This is a stupid question probably but when they put you to sleep is it just like you get really tired and fall asleep normally? Idk why that freaks me out so much but it does. And how long was it until you woke up again?

They may rupture, but won't slosh around my entire body like the old silicones would have. I think you can even cut mine in half and they stay in place, just a little gooey. What size are you now? You may not even need them, many women did just fine with salines during the bans! (Although I wonder if that's where the fake rock-boob stereotype came from in the 90s tbh -- too big & overfilled saline).
There was an amazing post on justbreastimplant forums that I can't find now about sizing. You only truly have 3 options according to most surgeons who don't do oversized primaries. The diameter range they have to use is pretty much set in stone. Your main decision is how far you want them to stick out, and whether you want anatomicals or round. Telling them cc's is risky unless you REALLY know what you're talking about, and bra sizes vary so much that it's completely unreliable. What people think of as a DD is sometimes really a G on a small ribcage.
I was so terrified about the anesthesia, but I don't even remember counting down. The second that mask was on I blacked out. Some people remember feeling kinda high, but from what I hear almost everyone loves it. I honestly woke up and thought I was back in the pre-op room and had never left despite remembering leaving clearly now. It feels that fast. I was under for about an hour.
Hope this helps! It's giving me something to focus on as the injectable opiates wear off and I don't want to sing and dance anymore, haha.
