Just got an email from Paxum:
Paxum native APP Now Available For Android and iOS Mobile Devices!
Paxum Inc is excited to announce the release of the Paxum APP for both Android and iOS mobile devices. Safe, secure and easy to use, the Paxum APP was designed to allow Paxum clients to utilize their account while away from the computer.
The Paxum APP provides clients with the ability to manage their Paxum account in real-time from their mobile device. Paxum clients can use the Paxum APP to instantly transfer funds to others, instantly transfer funds to the Paxum Payroll card, view balances and payment history in multiple currencies, withdraw funds, update profile information and more.
Paxum clients can download the Android APP from the Google Play Store, and the iOS APP through the Apple App Store. The Paxum APP uses push notifications to complete transactions securely. Account activity and balances are updated in real-time.
After download, users will be prompted to create a secure 4-digit passcode to access the Paxum APP. This feature allows clients to remain logged into the APP if desired, and simply reopen at any time using the unique passcode.

Why do you want a business account? Paxum is for business purposes already. My bank account is for an LLC & they still didn't make me sign up for a business account. I don't think you need to sign up as a business just to get a few payments.

Banking rules and regs are diffferent in the uk. Whilst there are no laws saying that a sole trader needs a business account, if i was to use a personal account in my actual name then use it for business it would breach the terms and conditions and they have every right to close down the account and take any funds and they would be more likely to do this considering this line of work, its not worth the risk. Also i can run this as the business account without needing a bank ans by using the business name it does add another layer to me and the work for the banks. Once i do become a limited company i can show the running of accounts and more likely to be able to get a business account, at the minute that is very unlikely due to personal reasons. Paxum also offers more on a business account then a petsonal one hence why i would prefer a business one.

My id and proof of address have been rejected twice and I can't understand why. As far as I can see, I have adhered to all requirements. It would be nice if they could at least give us a reason.
Can anyone provide any insight into this ?

Ruth recently posted this
At the moment new account creation is temporarily suspended for US clients. We are reviewing some new regulations based on FATCA and OECD, and while that is being reviewed we cannot verify new accounts for US clients.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Please note, this does not affect any already verified US account-holders. Their accounts are working normally, this only affects unverified US account-holders.

Is the Paxum rep still involved in this thread? I’m still fighting to get paid for two transactions and Ruth hasn’t responded to my email. I hate this company so much, I swear they make everything extremely difficult hoping that we’ll give up and let them keep our money.

Stay far away from Paxum. They've kept my money (two different amounts) for no good reason. Firstly, they will not reissue a check that was apparently (?) lost in the mail (after any amount of time - they said the only way they would do that is if I took a photo OF THE CHECK I NEVER RECEIVED), and just recently, made me verify my address with FOUR different documents (the previous three were rejected), and then yesterday, after I thought I'd finally withdrawn my money, I get an email saying the transaction was rejected, no explanation. I can't believe it. They are trying to keep our money. So pissed.

thanks^^ I've decided to go with paypal to receive payments from XVideos. As much as I hate it. However, I'm doing something different this time. I'm opening a separate bank account for it. With very little coin LOL in it. I'm keeping paypal FAR FAR AWAY from my personal bank account.

Good thinking keeping a separate account. Hopefully they will offer more options very soon so you don't have to take the risk.

How will you get the money out though?
From what I've seen they will close all accounts if flagged no matter if you have it linked or not. At least though it won't be in danger of affecting your actual bank account if you haven't got it linked.
I'm so surprised they even offer it as an option. I've read its okay to receive payroll like that but it still scares me to get paid from an adult site.

Paxum finally paid me the smaller amount that I've been jumping through hoops to get since August. Ruth responded to my emails (Chris never did), and says she's investigating the check I never received. Will update if anything happens. Again, ladies, I would consider closing your account and never using Paxum again.

I was able to able to withdraw by EFT on Wednesday with no problems.
They only offer EFT in Euro & Dollars now. Could that be the issue you're having Jess?
They changed it a couple of months ago & I didn't recieve any notification about it from them, I found out when I tried to transfer in GBP.

Thank you. I figured out the issue is they lowered the per-EFT limit without notification. After a few days, I decided to try a lower amount on a whim & it worked. I was able to do multiple small EFT withdrawals to get all my money out.
Ruth tried to be helpful, but the limits are listed differently in different spots on the site so no one seems to be clear on it.

Got this from Paxum today:
Paxum is changing the way you get paid from USA Business Account-Holders. As of today, all your invoices to US Payers, will be sold to Paxum and paid instantly by Paxum. We will present all purchased claims to the US Payer ourselves and collect the funds directly from the US Payer.
Also we are introducing the following additional fees to Paxum Account Holders in order to continue providing you with the best service possible:
Personal Account Holders will be charged $0.25 USD per received Paxum payment.
Busines Account Holders will be charged $1.00 USD per received Paxum payment.
All accounts that have no transactions for more then 180 days, will be charged $5.00 USD per month dormant account fee.
Please log in to your Paxum Account and accept the new terms to continue using your Paxum Account.
And then promptly went and closed my account. I never used it for anything anyway, never had a single cent in my account and there were so many bad comments about it here and elsewhere on the web. I wasn't going to leave the account open and charging me $5 for every month I wasn't using it.

I read that POS transactions are totally free now. That would be great. With my FirstChoicePay card, I pay everywhere at POS in the shops and I pay everything online. There s no charge. I think when I first joined Paxum there was a fee.
Am still waiting for my card to arrive. I signed up in middle or late January. It took longer than 2weeks to just approve my card request and the $45 for the yearly card fee they were taken the first second I applied for a card. My card it is still in printing (takes 2weeks) so I am getting the card in about 2months.
I signed up only due to TalkToMe disconnecting payments via FirstChoicePay.

So what's still the deal with this shit, I withdrew a couple of hundred dollars into my local account, got notice it's completed but after waiting for a few days I saw it went back into my Paxum account without giving me notice. That happened before when I withdrew a few thousand, since then I only did it in smaller chunks and it was ok but now it happened again.
Wtf, is the problem, why don't they give our funds out, we have to pay bills!
Just sent an email again, does anyone know why that happens?
Also, the MFC coupon for the card, is it free for only a year or forever? They didn't reply to me when I asked. Fucking hell, Paxum is the worst. Really considering only using FirstChoice now. Only thing that holds me back is that you can't withdraw... meeh.

Once I made an EFT payment to my usual bank account & it all went through & then it come back as failed & they just said it was an issue with the payment processor but they didn't explain what the problem was.
I've used their service for just over two years & that's the only time I've a failed transaction with them like that. I wonder if it's a issue due to the weather? My own bank had a warning on its website yesterday saying transactions may be delayed due to the storms in the UK & I know TalkToMe crashed because of it.
Sorry - I don't know anything about the MFC coupon

Thank you, might be the weather. Had no idea that could be an issue. Although last time it didn't work was in May... so it was okay since then but it's still pissing me off that you didn't even get notice if it goes back into the Paxum account... seems dodgy to me like they wanna keep it longer to get interest on it or whatever. Instead of sending out another automated email explaining what was wrong.

Yes - it is annoying when they don't tell you. They didn't notify me by email either at the time - They didn't notify me when they stopped doing EFT in GBP either. Definitely lacking on that side of things.

Paxum have also now released a statement on it as it affects their cards also:
“Paxum Inc would like to address any concern our clients may feel after the recent news regarding Choice Bank Limited. On April 9th 2018 Choice Bank Limited informed its customers that it has been forced into a constrained position by the regulatory authorities.
Paxum would like to reassure our customers that this is an issue between Choice Bank and its regulatory authorities directly, and it is completely unrelated to Paxum. Paxum is just a customer of Choice Bank.
As a result of the news from Choice Bank we regret to inform you that Paxum cards can no longer be loaded via transfer to card. However it is important to note that any funds that currently exist on any Paxum card issued by Choice Bank are fully available and can be used as normal at the ATM and for POS purchases.
We are grateful that only a small portion of Paxum users are affected by Choice Banks situation, as it only relates to the Paxum issued card. All other aspects of Paxum services are operating normally, and regular service is uninterrupted. We apologize for this inconvenience caused to Paxum card-holders by Choice Bank, and we are working hard to promptly implement our new card solution.”

I do my EFT tomorrow on a Wednesday after TalkToMe has paid out so, I'll let you know tomorrow if my Transfer goes through okay. I hope it does! I'm expecting it will. Maybe Paxums a little glitchy today because of extra traffic surge due to the First Choice issue going on & maybe that's why your getting the error.
According to the statement that Paxum put out today - it's only the card that's effected. EFT and Wire is working fine still.

Soo this means as of now, if I sign up with Paxum, there is no card available to receive funds?
Only if I want to do EFT or bank or something right?
Which means since I can't open a bank account at the moment I'm pretty screwed.

This is from the sm message:
PAXUM:
Paxum payments will continue to be processed and sent to your Paxum account. However, Paxum cards issued by Choice Bank will need to be replaced. Paxum is already issuing replacement cards. If this affects you, please contact Paxum for further information. We have been told that any funds already loaded to your card can still be used, and you can log into your Paxum account and manually transfer funds (fees may apply). Contact Paxum directly for any questions about your funds.
I'm contacting Paxum now to verify. Everything I am seeing is that they are still trying to find a card alternative.

I'm also not in the US. I think the best idea is to give them some time to come up with an alternative card. I'll bet they are working on this overtime as Paxum will be making a killing with First Choice out of the competition. I know one thing for sure, I'll not be keeping too much money on prepaid cards in the future.

Hi Pixie
Yes - I've just done a tranfer (EFT ) about 5 mins ago and it went through fine.
TTM have suspended payments to Paxum because of this FCP issue - even though its only the card affected. It's a nightmare this situation & I wasn't even a First Choice customer. So that's why I didn't do my transfer yesterday because TTM didn't pay out & I like to do my EFT every fortnight.
Try Paxum now Pixie x

I think the servers have been overloaded & I read on one thread that yesterday Paxum went offline to update their website for the new cards.
Glad you got it sorted. You'll probably have it in your bank by next Wednesday. I usually transfer on a Wed & it's in my bank usually the following Tuesday.

Kristen, can I be cheeky and ask seeing as you are in the UK and having successful transfers.
I understand there are no EFT transfers in GBP. So when getting paid from a US company (eg Streamate), do I receive it to Paxum in dollars, then do an EFT in dollars, which then get converted by my bank?
Also, I'm looking at the fees, but would love to know from someone who actually uses it, plus there's no mention of EFT as far as I can see. I have avoided Paxum due to hearing about high fees, but what fees typically apply?
Thank you so much xx

They don't seem to have the EFT fees on their fee list.
Here's what I got from Paxum by email last month:
EFT Withdrawals are typically received to the specified bank account within 3-7 business days of submitting the request. The fee for EFT withdrawal is $5 USD flat fee per transfer.

Hi Vlodina
Yes EFT is working fine & I got a payment into my bank today.
You'll receive your Streamate in dollars to your Paxum Dollar account - then, you need to convert them into Euro from within Paxum ( You'll need a Euro account which is dead is to create within Paxum) Then, you just click on the withdraw funds tab & the option to transfer by EFT offline will be there.
Right now it's costing 4.20 Euro to withdraw via EFT & I usually do my transfer on a Wed & it's in my bank Tuesday.
I only use Paxum for one site and to give an idea my $144.10 ended up £91.51.
I'm hoping that one day soon they'll bring back EFT in GBP.
Edit: I just checked my bank and my payment went in on Monday this week not Tuesday.

Can you tell me what the speed is like? I don't know if you are familiar with Streamate... I was using FCP and would receive emails on a Friday about my payment, and it would be in my bank normally Tuesday, occasionally Wed or Thurs. Would the money actually be IN Paxum on the Friday? Thank you x
