I doubt you'd be able to that Malinka because of the money laundering regulations that Paxum will have to abide by. You're best off just waiting for your card really.
I think personal account users can transfer money to other personal account users so, if your friend already has a Paxum account you may be able to do that but, double check with Paxum because I might be wrong and it might only be business accounts that can do that.
I thought that too until I checked their fee schedule and noted a "wire to 3rd party" option.

So I sent paxum two support tickets.
my card is still waiting to be printed and mailed to me. it could be weeks of coming to me. at this point I feel like I will see my paxum card in July. Things are badly backed up at paxum.
Then I asked about wire as the only second option I have on my account. they are backed up by 1 week to 2 weeks to send out wires. my other industry income source have a card from paylution looks like for me to upgrade things in my business I will be focusing more on them, since the plan of using my paxum card is becoming less of an option for me.
I'm only anxious about it because of the things I need to do in my business that cost me in USD, and everytime I get paid it's already converted into Canadian, I need more money to cover the difference.

The FAQ page says 5 to 20 business days to be shipped unless you request express delivery. which was probably the same back then for first choice.
I am not worried about it at the moment, but it does make it annoying when for me imLive only option is paxum. so I've put off working on that site. until my card arrives everything it set for check in the mail and paypal.

Yet when I asked them last time (support ticket), they told me 4 - 6 weeks to my area. You'd wonder how mail can take that long to anywhere in the world. It's only a letter.

3weeks to arrive to Romania. I don't have mine yet, maybe at the end of this month but my friend's card is here just that now it s stuck somewhere in a deposit cos the courier didn't deliver it. In romania it comes to the post office and then a courier will deliver it, which is weird, normally the mail man would do, at least that's how it used to be. She had standard shipping.

That's scary. Last time my card took exactly 3 weeks to SE Asia, and that was over the Christmas New Year period. Where are you?

My last card was delivered with the regular mail. Do they send these cards by slow ships and bicycles? How can any mail take this long? I suspect the shipping date is wrong.

I know, right? And then I read that the cards they sent don't have a chip but a strip, just like our old Payoneer cards and they are not working for POS :( which I hate.

Can't you use the other options? I use them, other way I'd be desperate to have a card. My card status changed to shipped on june 4th so I don't expect it till end of june or start of july. I never had a paxum card but I know from my friend that it used to take months to get it.

Its so complicated the withdrawal funds from paxum, in my account canīt cashout for etf or external and canīt applied for the card because is expensive and arrive too late, so my method is cashout by banktransfer but in a local bank to reduce fees ;)

My last Paxum strip-only card worked ok for me at POS. Perhaps it depends on your countries regulations.

Unbelieveble, isn't it. They come from Belize, which isn't that far from Brazil. (at least compared to SE Asia - for mine). In my last post I suggested that maybe they deliver by sail boat and bicycles, but judging on your delivery speed they must walk all the way from Belize.

I wouldn't hold your breath for a end of June delivery. Right now I'm still waiting for a May 10 card shipment.

Last time I did one it cost me $90, because they whacked me with a $40 corresponding bank fee which, of course, according to them, is beyond their control. I don't want to spend $90 again, which is criminal for a wire transfer.
They did say that if I choose my own corresponding bank it could be cheaper, but these costs cannot be given and won't be known until the wire arrives in my account.
They are not big on answering tickets. Mine still hasn't been assigned after a day. The are proving to be a big disappointment.

I am using epayments for some of the sites, but most of my payments come from Boleyn and they dont have epayments due to the ewallet not supporting US. So, im preety much stuck.

I did EFT with a test amount of 20 Euro and it was processed May 4 and I still didnt get it :O. Now I am trying to figure where this amount went but with their "fast" CS I bet it will take some sweet time. I love their transfer to card option but yes the fees are insane.
My paxum card has been "printing" since May 10th ::)

My temporarily card was already shipped to my city since after the beginning of June but the delivery company keeps stalling and moving it from a warehouse to another one in the same city. Gonna reserve half a day tomorrow to pick it up by myself.

That's what my friend did. She went to get it personally today because the delivery company wouldn't do their job. She was on the phone with them for 3 days asking for delivery and nada. The only way to have it was to go to one of their ship&go points.

Surprise, surprise, I did get a reply to my ticket, asking me to wait 2 more weeks, which will be 6 weeks from shipping date. How do you message the boss? Who is the boss? Previous to the dilemma in April, I alway had quick response to my tickets. Looks like they are up and running again, so that's encouraging.
I've never done a transfer to credit card, but that's because my cards are not in US currency and I don't want to deal with exchange rates because I'll be taking a hit there as well as their pricey percentage transfer fee.

If I transferred to credit card, I'd be converting twice as the currency I currently use is different to my card's currency, which is not USD.
Thanks for the head's up on Octav. I do remember seeing that name somewhere. I'll look it up and keep it as an option if tickets don't work.

Atm' s wont recognise it sometimes, I think the withdraw limit was 500, not sure if for one withdrawal or daily, but my friend couldn't take out 500 at once but split in two withdrawals. It won't work for POS and I'm waiting to find out if it can be used online. It looks like we're all waiting for some shitty cards. I'm disappointed.

That's an interesting question. I can't find the ATM daily limit on the Paxum site. All local ATM machines have a per transaction limit though, are you sure the $500 isn't imposed by the ATM machine? My per ATM transaction price in my country is about $7, and Paxum charges $2, so that's $9 plus a currency conversion, making small withdrawals very costly.
I only used my old card for POS and Internet purchasing. It was never a problem in 4 years of using it and I've made hundreds of transactions over that time. Hopefully the new one is the same.

I've seen more complains about the temporary card not working for POS. If the POS in your country still use the strip cards then it might work, I don't know if that's the issue. The limit for the ATM that my friend used is $700+. Not a low limit from paxum either, it seems "Clients can also use the card for ATM withdrawals up to $1,000 USD per day. Those will be temporary limits and will be increased later."

They still do accept strip-only cards in my country for POS. I'll see how it goes when I get it. I won't be too pleased if I cannot use POS as that's the primary way I spend my Paxum money, apart from a little online shopping.

Well, I have the card, am just waiting to have the possibility to activate it. In my account there's a different serial number of the card they sent in when my actual card has another serial number. Support is looking into it :)

I franckly don t remember when it was shipped, let s say it took three weeks. I just looked in my cards page on Paxum to tell you for sure but yesterday they changed the dates on all of them, the shipped and cancelled ones and it s all over the place right now.
Also, I just saw I could activate it finally, but they didn t update my serial number so am not gonna activate a weirds ass card until they fix it. Needs more follow up messages.

Wanted to let you know that i got my card today, thank god, but beweare that when you activate the card, they ask for your security question and i had to guess as i didnt write down. (annoying) another issue is that when i tried transferring money to my card, it gave me an error 404 saying the money wasnt transferred and i should try later. (argh)

I typed a security question which I'm using it the most, picked a totally new password, then it prompted me for PIN, moved a part of my balance from my account in the card, then visited the ATM to be 100%sure and it was OK. I was reading the tweets of a virtual friend of mine who is using Paxum since years ago as her preferred e-wallet of choice. She happened to transfer some time ago the money from her account to the card and the funds didn t reach her card but did not come back to her account as well. It took a while until the issue was resolved.

I'm sick of it, 14 days ago, paxum wrote me a few more days and we'll send you a card. It's 14 days and the card still prints. Another email tells me I have to endure. I do not have a bank, I can not use the money. Now I have given another company and the card is on the way, I hope it will be okay and I will transfer the money to another card. The paxum card is printed from May 10. Lol

so i had to actually go to the store and then use the card there to buy the f**** notebook. The card is all black, weird really and it never asks for my pin when im buying something, just goes through directly! soooooooooo shady!

With the new cards there's all kinds of rules about how retailers can use them. Certain retailers have newer devices that don't need anything to verify the sale. I don't think I've ever used a pin number for a credit card transaction in the U.S., only if its set up as a debit card, unless pulling cash. Some retailers in the US now have trusted status where you don't even need to sign anything, just stick the card in until the chip is read and its done...even the receipt is digitized and sent by email so you don't get a paper one.
For online purchases, many cards have a feature where you need to "pre-clear" a particular purchase by going to their site and typing the exact amount if its over a certain amount. My bank's credit card won't let me do anything more than $1000 without pre-clearance. This could be something with the one Paxum issues. Is there a separate website for the card issuer where you can check on these features?

I don't think any "strip-only" cards ask for PIN numbers. With the previous Paxum card I never once had a refusal online of POS. I hope the new card works as well, but they say it's a temporary card, so there might be restrictions on it.

In Brasil we always have to press the pin, always! Also the receipts are always in paper, very few people send it by email. Also on paxum, the purchases made with the temporary card dont show a statement, only the old card and the acct itself, so i figured they didnt add that feature yet or wont for this card. not sure. On the stores i bought things and the card went through directly, the stores told me this is very very dangerous as i could get the card robbed and having someone or anyone using it without any issues. I dont like the idea that it wont ask my pin at all.

Good news! The card finally arrived. Shipped May 10, June 20 arrival in South East Asia.
They really are a bunch of clowns at Paxum. Despite having to jump through some hoops last year to verify my new residential address. They didn't even bother to include the province in the mailing address and spelled my name incorrectly.
Due to the level of incompetance these guys display, I'll test out the card with a small amount first.
Here's the really stupid thing. When I tried to activate my new card they come up with a window asking for the card number, expiry, CVV number AND a security question and answer. Now I was thinking... what the heck is that? I can't remember any question and answer that I have ever provided. Then I thought, perhaps they are asking to provide a new question and answer that can be used in future. It turned out my hunch was correct, because after thinking of one and inputting it, the card was successfully activated. Which begs the question: why didn't they explain this instead of just leaving everyone guessing. I would imagine a lot of customers will waste time contacting email support to ask about this.
Then of course comes the obvious question that many will be asking. If this is a temporary card, when will the "real" card arrive? Will this temporary card be valid for the 2 full years of its validity (05/21 in my case)?... or do I have to go through another 6 week wait again for another one to arrive sometime in the near future? They certainly like to keep us guessing, while offering next to no information. This will only hurt their business as who will feel confident to leave much of a balance on their accounts when they appear so unprofessional. I won't be leaving much on there.
