ok so here is just a few highlights...
The Calico is Mitzy - she is a feral - that took me 3 years to gain trust with - now she's in the house and happy...full domesticated... She has no teeth but her canines from living outside so long...The cat with the crooked face expression - is my King Gus Gus - I raised him from 3 days old when I found him by himself under my deck, carried him around in a baby sling and syringe fed him... and the black and white one, is my munchkin cat, Max. Someone threw her from a moving car in my alley at 1 week old. She will always stay that small, like kitten size. ENJOY! :) and there's videos of some of the others.. :) I hope all the videos from my FB work. LOL

joining the crazy cat lady brigade (in my family that seems to be a genetic trait)
these are my two, trouble 1 and trouble 2 (Dickens and Georgie). Dickens is the panda cat, Georgie (the brown one) looks deceptively peaceful in these shots. when he's awake he spends most of his time screaming for scritches

Wow! This is an awesome topic. My husband and I both are HUGE lovers of Feline! I have had at least 2 cats at all times during most of my adult life. We recently moved down to SW Florida and drove here with 2 carloads of our stuff and our 2 kitties Shlomo (Orange & White Tabbie) and Unglai (Our gray and white fluffer)...
In our place down here, I was in my TV room and heard a faint meow from outside the door. At first I thought it was one of mine, but upon further investigation, I heard the meow from outside the door. I opened the door and looked down to see a tiny little kitten, dirty and meowing loudly. I scooped him up quickly and yelled out to my hubby, "Hey look what the cat drug in..lol!" This was the saddest little thing I had ever seen. He was so black I couldn't tell his color and he looked so sad. 1 took him over to the kitchen sink and grabbed the pet wash and cleaned him up., It took me 1/2 an hour to finally know what color he was...orange and white! With a little pink nose just like my little Shlomo..We fell in love with him instantly. I called a vet from the phone book and was able to run him over that very day. I didn't want to take a chance with the possibility of transmission of fleas or other diseases..well, $280 later little "Micha" was our newest addition. He had been lethargic and sad in the beginning, but the vet dewormed him and gave him vaccinations. Once he passed the worms out, he became the friskiest little kitten. He was bouncing off the walls and so playful. My big orange and whitey, Shlomo took an immediate love for his minime and they became fast friends! My husband and I agreed that there would be no more kitties. 3 was the limit and I was fine with that. Well, fast forward 4 months later. We had moved to a different place that was larger to accommodate my 73 year old mother who informed us she was leaving her husband and moving in with us...Really???
One day I noticed a beautiful buff colored cat with a pink nose. I had heard from others where we live that there was a cat roaming around that appeared to have no home. Many assumed that he was left behind by an old tenant. Yes! People suck and just move out leaving their pets behind....sick! Nobody had any luck getting close to this cat but left food when they saw him. One day, I walked outside and saw him lurking around. I called to him and he started meowing loudly and came right to me. I fell in love immediately. I told my husband Jim and my mother to come out and meet the stray kitty. They did and he was super friendly to us. BUT...my mother was adamant about the NO more pets rule, so we all agreed there would be no more pets.....A couple of days later we were going out to the stores for some retail therapy. Mom and I were out and at Walmart when my mom mentioned to me, "I'm going to get the stray kitty a soft bed so he has somewhere to sleep that isn't the ground." I, loving animals like I do, and wanting to save every fuzzy homeless creature agreed that it would be a good idea. We got home and laid out his bed in a safe place near our building surrounded by heavy bushes. He immediately took to the bed, and the new food bowls we had purchased. A few minutes later I went outside to pet the stray kitty and felt drops of rain beginning to fall. At that very moment I scooped up kitty, (Now Samuel) and brought him inside, where he remains and is loved by us all...
A couple of months later, my mom was trying to hint that she wanted to adopt a dog since her dog was in NJ and was too psycho to move here and happily residing with the ex. I was against it and so was my hub. This is a pet friendly apartment complex in which many of the residents have more than one dog. I could tell mom was getting heartsick missing her own dog and began mentioning visiting the local animal shelters to look for a dog. She wouldn't back off, both myself and my hubby are not dog peope...WE ARE CAT PEOPLE! NO DOG, NO WAY! To keep her quiet, I agreed to go to the shelters and just LOOK at the dogs. The end result was another member added to our fuzzy family....Spanky the terrier! We now have 4 cats and one dog and three humans in our 3 bedroom crib. Yes, we must vacuum every day and take massive amounts of allergy medicines (Yes, I'm allergic and get injections as well..) All for the luv of...THE BABY FUZZA'S
MY FUZZIES ARE THE BEST..I CAN ALWAYS TELL AN ANIMAL PERSON FROM A PERSON WHO SAYS, "I HAVE NO PETS!" I stare at disbelief into that person's eyes and cannot understand that way of thinking at tall. There is NO love like catlove and now doglove.
Rock on Fellow amine luvers....GIVE LUV AND LIFE...ADOPT A STRAY CAT OR DOG TODAY!

I just got another asshole, I mean cockatoo, over the weekend. He was a rescue that I couldn't say no to.
I literally cannot cam until I figure out what kinds of things make him quiet (he loves talking at around 100 decibels). He screams at around 115 decibels - loud enough to do hearing damage.
It's a good thing that I am not prone to migraines, because this would trigger it!
He's so sweet and cuddly, and it was love at first sight. I've never had a bird this big. He's around 4 pounds and 2 feet long.

The one with the red "jacket" was because she had an operation and it was for protecting the stitches- she wasnt amuzed though hahaha. Whenever she wore it she thought she coudnt move and/or jump anymore. One time she let herself fall down while wanting to get off the couch.

I love this thread so much!
I'm sadly downsizing my family as I've always kept small animals and they get so I'll and don't live very long it's slowly broken me. I have four rats now, one boy and three girls (boy has visited plum fairy and will move in with the ladies when he is healed!)

We have had our cats for 6 years, since they were kittens. Last year we got a dog. As the dog was a puppy she quickly learnt that the cats are in charge! They now (surprisingly perhaps, as one of my cats is a miserable bitch) get on really well - they play together and curl up together, the cats even head bop the pup.

Anyone else have a "sing along" dog? Lol - dude yesterday said he liked hearing girls moan, so I amped up the volume. Next thing I know pup's woken up from her nap and matching each of my noises with a howl from down the hall. Fortunately the guy thought it was hilarious and even stayed on Skype while I ran out of the room to dispense treats. Wish I could post a pic of the little booger, but I think there's more pictures of her on the internet than me!

Hey, if my rabbit and fearsome rabbit-hunting hound (lol) can work out their differences, your cats can definitely deal :p

I'm so sorry for your loss, I've lost a lot of furbabies in my time and it's never easy :(. They say losing a pet is worse than losing a non immediate family member because they are ALWAYS with you in your life. Remember the good times with them, don't focus on the loss, it will get easier over time and through healing, and if you ever need someone to talk to, please feel free to message me! I have 4 puppies up in puppy heaven right now, and almost lost one 3 weeks ago who is recovering from near death for the 2nd time of his short life. One I lost was very tragically killed and to this day I still cry at time remembering him and how he was stolen from me, but then I remember all the cute and goofy things he did and now I just smile, and even the annoying things I WISH he could he here to do again that used to drive me crazy, and I know he's up there in puppy heaven with his sister, and brother, and his niece, and free from harm of big scary trucks and drunk kid drivers... /: Big internet hug to you, again I'm sorry for your loss :(
