I have stubby little lashes and wearing "They're Real!" made my friend ask if I'd finally mastered wearing false lashes.

What I like about the Benefit ones is that they come in minis, really good for a lefty. I'm going to return the UD one I got though, & get the T.Ford Extreme.

Benefit's "They're Real!" mascara is my favorite!

Has anyone tried the Giorgio Armani mascara? I want to grab the Tom Ford or the GA. The pics I've seen are very impressive with both.

No, but I always hear great things about all the GA makeup. :)

I'm not in the market for a new mascara as I recently got 2 tubes of mankind hypnotize doll eyes, at first it was amazing but now I want something new, I'm thinking of trying too faced better than sex or Bobbi Brown smoky lash heard good things about both.

Well, I just gotta say this: using a primer 1st makes a huge difference, ( I got a mini Lancome primer from Ulta, used it w/cheapie NYC mascara) also the eyelash comb..I get not combing it back off, but sometimes you get too much on/clumpies :)

Whenever my eyelashes come up clumpy, I pet them with a damp q-tip until the mascara softens, then brush them out and re-curl. I find that if I just brush dry mascara I still have that chunky look at the end of the lash but that's a good way to get a more natural/fine-tip look.

Related: if you wear fake lashes, do you bother with mascara?

If you wear fake lashes you really should wear mascara as well, it helps blend your real lashes with your fake ones. I wouldn't recommend not skipping mascara when you're wearing false lashes!

Forgive me in advanced if someone already mentioned this one...

Anyone try this brand? http://www.mirenesse.com/# Its a 60 dollar kit and it looks too good to be true!!

I got disappointed with Dior's fake lash mascara. They look dull. So far, it's Lancome Hypnose for me but I am getting tired of how fast it starts clumping.

I use dior extase (i can't remember how to spell it but it's the one in the silver tube) and I love it
but the trick is to put on multiple thin layers

I'm still all about Too Faced Better Than Sex. I've been using Revitalash to help lengthen my lashes (working moderately well--no miracles, but I've noticed improvement), and I am pro-primer. I think sometimes people apply lash primer/mascara wrong though. You're supposed to apply your mascara immediately after the primer. The more it dries, the harder it is to cover, IME.

I was JUST going to say that! That is literally the best mascara I have ever used. I have short lashes and when I wear Better Than Sex they look amazing. I've even been asked if I had lash extensions on before when wearing it lol.

Benefit has a new primer, They're Real..it's a brown tint. But yea, primer makes a big difference

I've tried a lot of brands, but my lashes love L'Oreal. Every other brand I've tried clumps on my lashes something nasty, or dries them out. Right now, their Miss Manga. I used to wear their Voluminous. I love that it can be found most ANYWHERE. If you're out of town and forgot it, pop right into most any store has L'Oreal. My skin is a different story.

Ok, I'm bumping this..I have so many mascaras, Im not really that thrilled w 'em.
So, Im bk 2 considering the Tom Ford Ext.
I'm planning to get it from Nordy's.com, cause they offer free shipping (any size order) & they have great free beauty samples!
Any body else use the T. Ford Extreme???

Max Factor False Lash Effect. I've been using this for quite some time now and am still happy with it. For everyday, I apply twice, for evening I do 4 layers.

Buy careprost (I got mine from alldaychemist...one tiiiiny bottle will literally last me 1-2 years of every-other-day use). I prefer to not use it every day, since my lashes get too long (which looks weird when you put mascara on them, IMO. Careprost increases the number of lashes and the length of my lashes, and the mascara increases the thickness and length. Win-win-win.

^I've ordered from them twice. I think I used snail mail the first time, and it went smoothly (but took a while). I used a card the second time and had no issues. But I used their chat system to process the card payment, and I emphasized to the woman helping me that I'm a broke student (I lied), told her I was super worried about giving my card information, and thanked her repeatedly for being so careful with my info.

Ah ok, I ordered a number of times last year then the fraud happened the last time, I would order again probably on a throw away pre paid card, I want to try the eyelash stuff tho.

Honestly, I prefer false lashes that look like real lashes. I do the semi-permanent ones that last like two weeks before you need to redo them again.

It can be a lot of work though until you get the technique done right, but it is even more of a hassle getting the more permanent lashes and having to get them refilled all the time.

As for mascara like you are asking, I find that doubling two different mascaras works the best. I will use one that is meant to give the appearance of "fuller" lashes, then one that provides length. I do not use one specific brand. It always changes but I like Loreal's mascaras a lot.
