Most people have said Asian women are "most valued". I said I think white women are considered more attractive (and therefore make more money) than black women and I think some people may have said that as well, but that's probably the most agreement I've seen.
You can link me to where anyone said that they were the highest valued ones though.
There was some play or musical where one of the characters actually says to the other character "You're pretty...for a dark (Black?) girl." I can't remember if she said 'dark girl' or 'Black girl', but I was like DAMN, that's fucked up. It may have been a play or musical at the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore. I just remember being in my mom's car and hearing the commercial for it on the radio, and thinking "Oh, shit, this sounds like a pretty deep play/musical." I'm gonna try to Google search it later.

I read it and saw other responses as well. This is about race and camming I thought. Not sure why if anyone brings up camming is more than race we are accused of being off topic. Did this change from the original topic?
This thread has definitely been everywhere when it comes to subject matter. I think it has probably been off-topic more then its been on-topic. (*grins*)

Dr Michael Lewis, from Cardiff University’s School of Psychology and lead of the study, said that existing explanations of interracial marriage based on racial, economic or social factors were unable to explain the asymmetries.
The study, involving 40 undergraduate students, collated ratings of attractiveness of faces of 600 opposite-sex faces categorised by their race – black, white and Asian.
The students, aged between 18 and 30, were also of these three ethnicities.
Black male faces, on average, were rated as most attractive, followed by white faces and then Asian, while – for females – Asian faces were seen as the most attractive on average, followed by white and then black faces.

Something related to camming, yay! :)
I personally do not do shows that are like BBC or SPH or anything like that. It's just not my cup of tea, it makes me uncomfortable to participate in those types of shows.
There was ONE regular I had back when I thought I had to do everything in order to make money, that always wanted me to talk about his "n*gger dick" and I'm SOOOO glad he's not a regular anymore. I always dreaded doing his shows for that reason, but I felt like I had to for some reason, because he never bothered to ask me if I was okay with it he just went exclusive and told me to say it, and back then I did anything I could to not lose out on money.
But now, no. I refuse to participate in that stuff. You definitely can't avoid being exposed to it though, because unfortunately most guys don't even bother to ask they just assume you will do whatever the hell they tell you to. Nothing against anyone who does choose to participate in it, because I will tell guys "no sorry but check out -this model- I hear she's great", so on the one hand I won't personally do it but I don't have any issue with anyone else choosing to do it if that is what both people want and are okay with.
I don't like the SPH shows, so I refuse them..I think if I was a man with a tiny cock, I would not enjoy being called out on it, not my cup of tea, and the bitchy side just is not me either.
But speaking on the BBC thing, I am white with three bi-racial kids. Small, southern town in Ga. Never chosen to be with a white guy in my life, mostly only black men. And I have NEVER had any of the guys I was f*ckn request that I call them the N word during sex in real life. I do it on cam only. At first, it felt really awkward to me, but now I get to each his own or whatever. But really, give me that big black N word cock, would probably like totally get punches thrown during sex. I don't get it.
And cuckholding is so hot, but like really?? All the white men here have the "You are a N word lover yuck" attitude from as far as I can tell. Thats been my experience ALL my sexual life. I even tried to not be that girl into BBC when I first started my career out of being scared it would throw off the rich, white crowd of men. But I was wrong.
Probably soo off topic...but that is the limit of racism that affects me in my camming career.

What made you decide to incorporate race play into your camming career? Is it something that happens infrequently or often for you?

At lest 75% of my income comes from BBC and cuckholding shows. They say that they get alot of white camgirls that they get a feeling that are really not into black men in real life, and that they can tell that I am into it. I don't know, I just said f*ck it with the fake me and decided if I am gonna be streaming for hours at a time that for me it's best to just be the real me. And that's me. I thoroughly appreciate men outside of my race.

^^^Thank you, SGP. At the end of the day race does effect camming, even if it's the customers bringing it up. Domination using BBC, SPH, raceplay, cuckolding, etc. It doesn't mean you have to take part in it, but it still exists.

That's something that irritates me. They get a "feeling they are not really into black men". I have people ask me ALLLLL the time if I like black men, if I've been with a black man, do I like BBC, is my baby half black, etc. I'm like does it matter? If so, why? But being white and having a big ass, this is just something I have to hear all night long.
I like MEN. Period. I don't care what color you are, so it's hard for me to "act really into black men" because I don't know who these people are LOL I mean, are you nice? Charming? Attractive? Turn your cam on and say something other than "get naked bb" and I'll tell you if I could possibly be GENUINELY interested in you in some other unmarried life... I've been with men of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Being genuinely into a guy simply for being black (or any other one specific thing) is so, shallow? To me.
The furthest thing from my mind when deciding if I am into a man, is his race. I just get really irritated with the guys that ask these kinds of questions all the time.
Unrelated to race but also equally as perplexing to me is when guys ask if I'm into fat guys? Um, well depends. I've had my fair share of teddy bears which are actually my preferred size. It seems to be the skinny guys who ask if I'm into hot guys and then talk about how nasty it is when I give a genuine answer. Or the guys that are like "are you in to young guys?" Well, not really. My ideal man is at least 40. Then the young guys get all "grossed out" when I answer genuinely. These guys act like they want us to be genuine but really, they don't.
Some guys are just.... ugh.

http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0031703
According to the above graph Black men were rating all female faces lower than White and Asian men were.

I have had a ton of black guys come into my room and demand I say the N word. I knew they were black because I ask every guy for his cam when he comes in the room. So I don't really get how this is negative. Its not white guys asking me to say it, its black guys specifically requesting it.
And no I don't do it because its out of my comfort zone, but I am honest that I'm only attracted to men with a dark skin tone, because that is my personal sexual preference IRL and I do not date people that do not fit the criteria because I'm not sexually attracted to them.

This one?
I assume that black men are more critical of physical appearances than the two other races.
I do know that there aren't that many black men that are camming customers. Or at least, for me there aren't. I don't really know why that is, but I think a possible part of it is that porn consumption within the black community is generally frowned upon.
There's a shit load of white guys pretending to be black guys though. For me there is.
It's so easy for me to tell too.
They try to sound so stereotypical to the point that they end up sounding like the Kids Bop version of an actual black man.

My theory is that, because the world is so overpopulated, we now want to diversify our genes, whereas in the past we were just concerned with having lots of babies. Mixed babies have been statistically proven to have the healthiest immune systems.
If you look at that chart, the only sex that prefers someone of the same race of the opposite sex, are asian men. And that might be linked to the fact that they are statistically the least likely to get married as far as men go. So they tend to opt for someone with the same cultural background being the criteria most likely at the top of their list?
And I mean, if you look at that chart, wouldn't that just prove that people typically aren't racist? Because everyone except Asian men preferred someone of a completely different race than they were.

I love BBC and racial roleplay. I'm pretty open to anything taboo as it appeals to my interests in Psychology. I am happy to use the n word if asked for, but am constantly surprised by how many guys want this sort of abuse. I think I am ok with racial stuff because it is so far removed from my real self that my 'persona' is able to completely take over. Plus as a slim but very curvy woman, black guys seem to love me! Off screen that is, as pretty much 100% of my black cam custies are racial abuse/ sph/ cuckolding, and never vanilla stuff.
I really can't say if race plays a part in a guy's choice of girl or not as my site is primarily UK based and has a majority if white, UK performers, for which I fit into the main demographic. I don't understand how that can be the case. "But I do however feel that often times the decision is based upon reinforced stereotypes."
...So you're saying that people who date and/or marry people with their preferred physical attributes (including race), stay with that person because that person has that race's "reinforced stereotype"? I don't think so.
If that is the case, aren't you saying that the "reinforced stereotypes" are true then using this logic? Because if all someone is after is a reinforced stereotype that they are attracted to, I don't think they would date that person for an extended period of time or even marry them unless that person had what they were looking for (the reinforced stereotype, using that logic).
I mean I know for me, I'm not attracted to one particular race. I'm just attracted to med-dark skin and several different races and ethnicities have it. White men rarely have it, but sometimes. That that has nothing to do with a "reinforced stereotype" at all.
This makes logic makes no sense to me. Using this same logic, wouldn't that mean that every man who dates or marries a "spinner" is a pedo? Because the stereotype of a spinner is being a young, underage girl.

A lot of guys, no matter their race, do not have a cam or will not appear on cam. They could be Black...they could be White...we don't know for sure. Lucky for you, the guys asking for such a controversial (I guess that's the right word for it?) cam session are willing to turn on their cams first. If you're comfortable with calling a man the 'n' word for a cam session, and you know it's not some White guy trolling you for shits and giggles, then no harm done. Make your $$$$$.
Some models, such as myself, are not comfortable with doing race play sessions or slave/master sessions, and I wish people could just respect that. We should be able to politely refuse the session without hearing "Well fuck you then, you dumb n!gger whore!" Lol/Smh.

It means that often times people the decision is based on reinforced stereotypes. Some people do date, marry, have sex with, and are attracted to someone because of that person reinforcing stereotypes and/or because of others reinforcing stereotypes and therein being undateable, unmarryable, unfuckable, and unattractive.
It's not at all to say that stereotypes are true. The thing about stereotypes is that they can be true for some, but not all. E.g. you can go to a chicken establishment and see a variety of people from different racial backgrounds eating, but it'd be a reinforced stereotype for black people to be eating. You're taking a partial phrase used to describe a real set of people and making it the standard for absolutely everything for one. For two, you're construing it in a way that makes it seem unreasonable.
I'll give you perspective and example, but it's out of my hands if you still don't understand. A lot of black men are unattracted to black women because they think the massive majority of them wear weaves, are loud, predisposed to obesity, are fiscal irresponsible/gold diggers, and are too dark. A lot of those same men put Asian, white, and other lighter skinned non-white people above black women in preference because they're not perceived as being any of those things as well as because of reinforced stereotypes about that person. E.g. an Asian woman being mousey and petite, a white woman being sexually open to anything, etc.
And no, that doesn't mean that someone who dates a "spinner" is a pedophile. There's evidence that supports that the pique age of attractiveness of a woman is the early 20s. Petiteness is mostly associated with the ability to fuck a woman any way a man wants to and her small stature making the man feel larger/more powerful/more masculine. It's also associated with innocence/purity/etc because they are so childlike in stature. There's an entirely different set of social constructs, theories, and realities related to that that could be talked about.
LaPetiteVierge

I'd like to also say that, just because there's a personal preference for a specific race doesn't mean that that person is NOT racist. A person can still maintain racist ideologies in an interracial relationship. That doesn't take away from racist attitudes at all. A single example of that is how some slave owners had relations with their slaves (not just in a sexual sense). I'm sure that might be seen as an outdated perspective as societal attitudes have changed, so I'll use another example. Bill Maher is notable for having dated black women. That's mentioned even in this thread. Bill Maher is also Islamophobic and that ties into racist notions to all people perceived as muslims. Edited: Before anyone say Islamophobia is secular to a hated of Islam and fear of Muslims, it encompasses a prejudice towards people perceived as Muslims. E.g. Sikhs bring treated poorly because they're presumably Muslims for wearing a pagh. His ability to find another race attractive doesn't at all detract to being a bit of a hypocritical bigot. It's not just race play, I'm including it along with all the other risqué and taboo stuff it's just that this thread was specifically about race. These are all things they (presumably) would not do ordinarily, and they come to me to indulge in some fetish play. I think about what led them there, what goes through their minds and drives them to need this sort of outlet. I think society's effect often has a lot to do with what drives them.
I have a customer who is Indian and he likes me to tell him what a pathetic little brown loser he is and how he'd only fit to worship and serve white women. The first time he came to my room (he was my first of this kind) I refused. Is never minded using my big black strap on for cuckolding (mostly white European custies) but somehow racial abuse just seemed too personal. But he came back the next day and I asked him why he wanted me to do this. He told me he'd been bullied all his life for his skin colour and at a very young age had a particularly embarrassing public incident where he got a hard on for a white girl at school. The whole class saw and some girls told him he was a disgusting packi and should never look at white girls!
The problem was his mind sort of got 'stuck' there, and the only way he could ease his crisis of self confidence was by channelling those feelings into something he could control, like masturbation. The fantasies got so elaborate as he sought to recreate this experience over and over that he eventually moved to camgirls. This guy is now happily married with children of his own. When we talk he seems well adjusted and completely normal. But he has this deep inner urge to keep going back to that day. When a seemingly nice, respectable white girl (that'll be me) hurls racial abuse at him, he gets his revenge almost, by shooting cum all over the cam (my face). Although the content makes me uncomfortable, I genuinely get off on seeing how this excites him.
Anyway sorry for the ramble just wanted to illustrate one of my many taboo custies.
How come you feel like race things associate more to psychology than sociology? Or are you interested in the effect race's role in society plays on the mind and on mental health?

That's actually incredibly awful and I hope that man seeks professional help to do his work and sort out that trauma, rather than self medicating with this kind of stuff.

And what about your white clients who request BBC strap on play?

I agree La Petite. We've talked about it often. I've seen a lot worse!

On the subject of reinforced stereotypes (great subject phatgirldynamite btw) White girls: school uniform, barely legal/lolita, milf, BBC lover, cheerleader, GFE, etc. Black girls: "Ebony", ghetto, dominate or dominated,Mistress, bratty money hungry bitch, "less desirable"., etc. Black guys: chill, BBC, aggressive or not so much in spite of having a big dick. Asian girls: submissive, geisha, exotic, shy innocent school girl, "tight",etc. Asian guys: tiny cocks. Latin girls: spicy, exotic, curvy, maid. Latin guys: gay or extremely aggressive. Interracial porn: BBC to the max with a few white guys and "ghetto" black girls thrown in. BBW: facesitting/squashing, stuffing/feederism, desperate for cock, etc." So, after our customers have had only these few titles to choose from, everything else would be considered a "fetish" (those are reinforced stereotypes as well) and then they come seeking this shit live in our rooms. I have yet to meet a custie who has his own fetish going on. Everything else is one big fat stereotype.

For sure! I have this one reg who's really thin. Our sessions are the result of his experiences with being bullied at school. He gets off on me hurling insults at him like calling him 'twiggy', anorexic, and how I'm going to take his lunch money and break him in half. One time I took it a bit further by pointing my index finger at the camera and tapping it as if I were shoving him and he about lose consciousness and passed out. O.o I believe most of their fantasies are psychological or typical porn stereotypes.

The problem with that is we'd lose a LOT of business :D I think some of the things we do actually saves some of these customers from doing something illegal or morally fucked up.

Yeah I'm of the same mind. If I ever saw with my own eyes or had a reason to believe any customer was harming another being (like they had an actual animal or child on cam or I got a 'bad feeling') then I'd screenshot the session, record the IP address and report to my site and to the police. For these others though it feels like I'm helping them, if only temporarily, and that gives me job satisfaction.
