I'm curious about what others perceive to be 'dark skinned'. I used to think you were talking about the darker African example here, but I get the feeling that's not what you mean???
On a different note, every model in the ebony category seemed to be blaring rap tonight. I couldn't even hear what they were saying to me over the music. Also, the word 'n*****' tends to make people uncomfortable, even when it's just in the lyrics to a song. Just food for thought there.
She was referring to anybody from Gabrielle Union's complexion or darker more than likely. Anybody that'd likely be described as a darkskinned black person. So from that middle "lighter African" tone all the way down. Though, there are Punjabi women (and other non-black women) as dark as "darker African" people.
And I know plenty of white women, latino women, and otherwise who play rap music during the cam shows. A big shot cam girl who posted on here about making great sales and who everyone immediately recognized has played rap music and danced a little to it and she just so happens to be white.

LaPetiteVierge - I think that in forums in general, and especially here in Camming Connection, we tend to take the original poster into heavy consideration when any thread is started.... especially controversial ones. The only reason anyone is "fixating" on you is because you started the topic.
I don't think that you not being a cam girl necessarily nullifies anything, I get that you are looking for other cam girls experiences, but if anything it may end up giving you a perception on camming that will not necessarily end up applying to you. It may create this preset notion that camming is going to be one way or another for you, based on what others have said their experience is. If there is anything to be learned about camming, it's that everyone has a different experience. There are black cam girls that will say race has absolutely no impact, and there are others who will say they aren't successful because they are black. How it will pan out for YOU may end up entirely different. But if you go into it thinking that it's going to be one way or another based on what everyone else has to say, you will only shoot yourself in the foot.
But anyway, so many other thoughts and opinions are being brought into this that it doesn't feel like a discussion on CAMMING and race anymore, but more like just race in general.

Well, as I had said, "I don't think black women are at the complete bottom of the 'pecking order' nor that they're considered the worst of the worst either. Obviously, we do great. There's testament to that in this thread and my camming idol kourtneykay is my role model for knowing damn well you can be a woman of color and still bring home the bacon." I haven't stated that I think things will turn out poorly for me. I feel like I've done quite the opposite in noting that there's varying factors that dictate whether people make money or not. I think you make the money you work for and race doesn't act as a deterrent for making big money in the end of all ends.
I think it's healthy for threads to veer off topic or discuss things more generally. I see people discuss irrelevant things in threads a lot of the time and, so long as it doesn't cause a complete derailment, I've never seen it be an issue. If a mod feels like this thread is too vague and too off topic, it'd be perfectly fine with me if this gets archived. However, I feel like the conversation is good so far despite disagreements and grievances expressed throughout it.

Regarding the last paragraph about black women being "at the bottom" I really think that's a bunch of bullshit and I don't buy into that idea anymore. There is a lot of media propaganda aimed at making people think that black women are sexually undesirable. I don't know about anyone else, but I refuse to walk through life with the idea that I'm "bottom class".
I'm a black woman, my hair is natural (freeformed dredlocks) and I love my hair-many of my customers compliment me and love it too. In fact, my look is what sets me apart because it is so unique. I am also beautiful and intelligent, and I put a lot of effort into my work as a cam model. Why would I walk around with my head hanging low just because certain people have been brainwashed to think differently? I don't want or need those customers. Focus on the ones who enjoy what you have to offer and forget the rest, or else you'll lose sleep over some BS you can't control.
People will always judge you one way or the other, but it's important to gain perspective and value YOURSELF and your work because that's the only way you'll succeed, whether it's in this industry, outside of it, or in your own personal life.
That said, I DO think race factors into camming, only because women of color deal with a different set of circumstances than white models do. For example, I've encountered men who fetishize black women or black cocks and ask me to play out racist scenarios. Many of us have had racist slurs thrown at us, on top of the normal sexist assholery that white models encounter from time to time. While some white models can receive similar requests from black men, the difference is that for women of color-who actually experience the effects of racism in our daily lives, this can be more emotionally taxing.
Sometimes, economic class can also play a role in how black and other women of color fare in camming, because you are basically running a small business. You need to present yourself well, be adept at social media, take care of yourself, etc. Being that women of color are disproportionately poor, some may struggle with that more because they have less time, money or energy to invest in camming as a business. Some ladies are even camming from studios in other countries under shitty circumstances, and/or can't speak good English. This is no fault of their own-just a reality.
All in all, race factors into camming no more than it factors into our everyday experiences. A lot of what we see in camming is just a reflection of our broader society. Thanks for posting this thread and bringing up the discussion. <3
thank you for that post, particularly the lines in bold.
Honestly, I don't see how the length of camming career of the OP in any way elevates or diminishes the validity of the subject, the quote above (the entire post not just the emphasized line) articulates why.
These issues exist. Not experiencing them personally doesn't make the issues any less real. I'm really thankful to y'all who brought this thread back to less of a high tenor tone cuz I believe this community is stronger if all voices and experiences can be heard.
Gonna close my post here with a wicked thought from another thread dealing with social race that addresses those on the outside of an experience:
"these dynamics do exist. Can't we just acknowledge this frustration as something very real and show support for enduring it?

If we wanna talk about race and camming, I think another good subject, one we can actually come to a consensus on because it has less to do with statistics and more to do with subjective experiences, is the matter of race-play as a fetish.
I have a "bbc lover" tag on SM, and I have guys wanting me to call them the n-word, frequently in free chat (I don't), and sometimes talk about how black sperm is superior or whatnot (I don't do that either).
Then I have had a few guys, mainly Arabs, who have wanted me to humiliate them by saying that they are inferior to whites. I don't do that kind of play either.
When they want me to me to make general statements during sexy-time that are racist, I simply won't do it. However, I have no problem using the n-word in exclusive chat in the context Chris Rock referred to as "the only time a white person can say n****".
Alternatively, there's the matter of white master/black slavegirl play to discuss. Some black girls get off on it, while others find it racist. To me, it seems that the more specific your fantasy is when it comes to race play, the more concern there is for racism, and the more generalized, non personal statements you want your camgirl to make in regards to race in a sexual tone, the more racist you probably are.

Lol. Wow. @ the bold.
You know a lot of the guys are white men, right? (Not all of them). There's videos on Tumblr of cam girls feeding into raceplay and saying things like "yea I love your n***er cock, baby" and it's really just to embarrass you sometimes. One of the videos went really viral and I just remember it being this bbw lady saying degrading racial things who kind of got ripped to shreds on there. There's a few of those videos on Motherless too, I think. If they haven't gotten taken down already.
But yep, raceplay is indeed a fetish for people. Mhm, mhm.

Yeah, you bring up a good point! Really think things through before agreeing to do this kind of thing on cam, because you may be recording, and it could wind up all over the 'net for others to see. And when it's posted, there may not even be a description saying "Cam girl doing a raceplay cam show." The description could wind up being something misleading like "White bitch calling me a nigger," and now everyone who sees it actually believes that you're a racist cunt. Just something to consider before you agree to do this sort of thing. .
And as LaPetiteVierge pointed out, the guy requesting it might not even be Black, and could be over there laughing his balls off at the fact that he got you to say the word '*****' a bunch of times.

I personally don't see the point of this topic because at this point AS A BLACK MODEL I am very offended by some of the comments and I just don't think it matters at the end of the day!!!! Camming differs from everyone! And I don't think every "white" model makes more than a black one based solely off the fact that she is white. It's ugly white women out there too ....
I also don't see your point in "Every black model was blasting rap music in her room" okay and? I see white models listening to rap all the time, twerking and etc and it's cool for them but when a black girl listens to it oh its unprofessional and she's ghetto. We should be able to listen to whatever puts us in a good mood whether its rock, rap, lana del rey or whoever!!! I personally listen to everything from Paramore to Young Thug and it puts me in a great mood!! So what!
But if u are a black model reading this keep your head up we are not at the "bottom" fuck that we just have to work harder because of how we are portrayed and because of the media. If black women where so "undesirable" then explain to me why all these ppl are getting bigger asses and lip injections to be like us and etc. Why does Iggy Azealea have a fake ass booty and talking like a southern black girl?? Just because a majority of "White men" do not find black women attractive doesn't make us undesirable in a whole. its more people in the world who desire us so I just think it's bullshit that some of you really believe whites are superior or better looking based simply off race. And last time I checked EBONY is a big fetish category, one of the top. I hate to see ppl discuss race who haven't even been affected by it.
& also West Indian people are technically "black. "Blacks" come from many places before we came to america. American is not a race it's a nationality. But sorry if I sound angry... I just don't see why we are discussing race. is this thread supposed to uplift or discourage? Because at this point as a black woman it's kind of pissing me off .... and not uplifting me at all........

It wasn't meant to uplift or discourage. It was just meant to have a conversation/discussion. I agree with you whole heartedly. This wasn't meant to be upsetting for anyone, but I agree that some comments in here can be taken very offensively. I don't think anyone really thinks white people are better than people of color. I hope not at least. No one's outright said that. I'd say to try not to let it get to you because nothing anyone eats here makes anybody shit (Does that makes sense? That's been my favorite line for a minute).
People are sharing their experiences and giving awareness to certain aspects of their experience that have not/will not ever happen to others. It can be a humbling learning experience for some people.
But yeah, again, it's just a discussion. You already said yourself that black women can bring in that guap when we apply ourselves. You rock, we as a people rock, and we know it, girl.

I think people care (like myself) because it's, as someone else described, an emotionally taxing experience. It's cool if it doesn't matter to or bother you, but it can matter to and bother some other people and it's healthy and to share/vent about their experiences.

This thread is very hurtful to read. It's also pointless.
Who cares what race you are? Just make that money, and enjoy your life. Trying to figure out what race does better, or what race does worse in this industry....is very shallow and pointless in my opinion. It also stirs up bad mojo/ bad feelings. So....can we move on from this?? :(
Edit: I've since changed my mind about this thread being pointless. Some of the things I read didn't sit well with me, but that is the reality of the world we live in. Just because it hurts, though, doesn't mean we shouldn't talk about it. Actually, that is even more of a reason to talk about it. Thank you, MarleyCat, for setting me straight.

People keep saying how "pointless" this thread is and THAT'S what's hurtful.
It's hurtful to think that people need to shut up and get over feeling affected by this.
There's a community of women of color who cam because they live in small hick towns in the bible belt that have turned "whites only" into "family owned" in order to make jobs in their area exclusive.
I've already told them about this site, but I don't even want them to come on here anymore if they can't express thoughts without people telling them that their thoughts, opinions, and experiences "don't matter", "are pointless", and that "no one cares".
This is really fucked up. Truly fucked up.
I thought better of most of the people here and it really is unfortunate that people are so hurt by the notion that others can feel that way that they can't express empathy for the fact that this is a reality for some people.
They'd much rather single people out and nullify things.

In regards to the music, I originally had a question about the n-word in music, activating schemas, and how that factored into the frequency of racial humiliation requests. I can't even figure out how to ask the question without sounding like I'm whitesplaining, so I decided to leave it alone.
It's better to ask it and get clarity than to come off as being really offensive with no visible reason for what you were saying.

NOPE. Generally I'm a very considerate and tactful person If it's a tough topic then unsubscribe from the thread. If a person on the forum is saying things that makes you uncomfortable or you totally disagree...maybe it annoys you, then go to their profile and use the ignore option. But anytime a person tells me to stop speaking and be quiet it's an indicator that I'm on to something. The thread has been moderated and given the go ahead. You can read it and contemplate what's being said, but telling people to stop says more than you know.

It's true you are a newcomer. People are uncertain of your skills and for other reasons are trying to shut the conversation down. You should be careful in how you speak. I cringe whenhei I type this telling another woman to watch what she says, the audacity. But I would hate to see the thread locked or deleted because of overly emotional responses. How many times have people directly called out other performers based on their choices? Free gold shows? Topless in free chat? Simulated blowjobs...and it goes on and on. It's mystifying to see so many people who have such a strong standpoint against things that they can't control enter this thread and try to silence the perspective of others. The mod has already spoken. You can offer a different perspective that challenges the topic. Of course you can. But really how progressive are you being by telling people to stop talking? Which would be brilliant if this was of place of therapy but it isn't. I like to think this forum is about being POSITIVE and not so much negative.
Where is the positive in discussing something that will potentially bring others down.
I would like to put an example to you, what if an ebony cam girl visited this forum just to take a look around and she had been camming without an issue and making bank for a few years. And then reads this thread and the quite bold comments that have been mentioned and then walks away feeling like utter shit because of it and then logs on to cams and is now in a negative space and thus reflects onto her customers. What if she then felt victimized when she never felt like that before?
I thought better of most of the people here and it really is unfortunate that people are so hurt by the notion that others can feel that way that they can't express empathy for the fact that this is a reality for some people.

I want to put this across the best way I possibly can, because I feel strongly about what I feel on this subject.
Around 99% of cam girls are a victim of disrespect from men (despite your race, shape, beauty) at some point in our camming career we are referred to as sluts, good for nothing whores, money grabbers, skanks and everything degrading in between. On a daily basis a cam girl somewhere out there is being degraded by an absolute clown. It's a real issue that emotionally affects us and puts us down.
There are BBW ladies who will have some utter prat throw words around like fat, obese and make nasty little jokes to humiliate the girl. I have heard personally that this happens very often. It's extremely hurtful and potentially damaging to self confidence.
Each and every one of us has been on the other end of an insult or nasty and vile comments from these guys. Some more than others. We all get our feelings hurt and it damages our confidence.
My point being is that if we all opened a thread based on our negative cam experience or based on what a particular group of arseholes have said then this would be a VERY depressing forum. I wouldn't even visit the forum anymore.
Not because I don't care, because I do. I am all for sisterhood and girls sticking together. I cannot stand a bully, I was bullied allot in my childhood and it disgusts me how people get away with it.
Even though I am white, it upsets me to think that black girls have had racial slurs thrown at them. Nobody should have to stand for that and it should not happen.
But unfortunately it does happen and it sadly will continue to happen and there isn't anything we can change about it.
Assclowns will continue to call us sluts, whores and all other nasty insults. But within this thread it is very open to bring people down. And it is bringing people down.
Maybe I'm just the kind of person who likes to focus more on the positive aspects than the negative.

Simulated blowjobs? I was unaware of the controversy with that one...I thought all blow jobs were simulated on cam lol.

I specifically told you that I had a question for you and I don't remember what it was because you took a day to respond. That's NOT picking a fight.
If I said something racist, sexist, offensive, told you that your opinion and your thoughts and your experience doesn't matter, no one cares, are pointless to talk about, move on, shut up, get over it, do your hair, turn down your loud rap music, get prettier, stop playing the race card, either work hard or stay broke, maybe then I'd be picking a fight.
Definitely.
I'd definitely be picking a fight then.
Many other people "disagreed with me" and I didn't ask them their race. I had a specific question for you. I said that to you. I straight up told you that. Don't play with my words and my intents. I said what I meant to you and I meant what I said to you.
Smh.
This is typical and expected though. I should have really known better than to think it'd be easy for SOME people to stomach and sustain a conversation about how SOME people of color feel like there's racial biases in this business. I was obviously being real generous in that assumption.

A woman of color said that some issues in camming are emotionally taxing for women of color.
A book about racial biases in stripping has been referenced by the MOD of this forum who has continuously expressed in this thread how she feels it's important to talk about this.
A video of a dialogue from a pornstar about the racial biases in pornography has been posted.
A statistics-based article about online dating and its racial biases in pornography has been posted.
Every woman of color, that I've seen in the past 8 pages, has said they don't agree with the sentiments in the conversation I posted.
You have people in this thread more worried about the track record of sex work of me, the original poster, than the thoughts and feelings of those who expressed slight grievances within camming. You have people in this thread really blatantly stating that this is "pointless". It's better for MaxineMadness2002 to talk about how Chaturbate is fucking with her money by delaying her payments than for ElodieErotica to say "Well, damn. It's real fucked up someone likened my dark labia to a horse's tonight. I wonder if that predisposition of disdain for a certain amount of melanin in my damn pussy lips might be why I only make $300 a month".
Whatever though.
It is what it is. I'm done henceforth for real.
People of ANY colour (race) can suffer racial abuse. Not just "people of colour" as you put it.
That's what annoys me most, comments like that.
And I don't even get why you're still here after you got your feelings hurt pages ago. There's a unique experience for people of color and that's the topic of conversation we were having, but you're too busy being "color blind" to acknowledge and empathize with that truth. It's whatever though. Be annoyed. I won't lose sleep over it.

Simulated blowjobs? I was unaware of the controversy with that one...I thought all blow jobs were simulated on cam lol.
HAHA simulated blowjobs was more of response to comments I've read about couples shows and girls who give "too much" away. Like blowing the dude off cam or through his boxers in free chat. Camsites are changing a performers are having to do certain things to stay edgy and convert traffic. Not exactly what I do, but some have had issue with it. That's what that comment was about.

Because I reserve the right to speak my opinion just like you have, that's why I am still here.
How am I color blind? What because I don't put people in categories because of their color. If I did do that wouldn't I then be classed as a racist?
As I stated before I empathize with it, I empathize with all the shit cam girls get thrown at them on a daily basis too.
Can't be assed to even post on this thread anymore, you got a real bad attitude problem. You do say stuff to cause an argument, to several girls on this thread.

How am I color blind?
I fortunately do not see colour
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_blindness_(race)_in_the_United_States
While the ideal that race should not "matter," critics say, is certainly not a bad thing, the problem lies in asserting that race should not be taken into consideration even when trying to address inequality or remedy past wrongs.[18]
Professor Bonilla-Silva of Duke University lists four main frameworks in which color-blindness operates: "abstract liberalism, biologization of culture, naturalization of racial matters, and minimization of racism."[19]

Look, you specifically asked me what my race was, "if you don't mind me asking" after I disagreed with you on the usage of the term "women of color." There was nothing racist about my opinion on that matter. Whatever your question was, its timing was very bad.
Not really sure what kind of innocent question about someone's race you'd want to ask someone you don't know...it had to be in response to my discussion, unless there was some other thing I've said somewhere on SW that spiked your curiosity about my ethnic background.

If it's a tough topic then unsubscribe from the thread.
Totally agree with what you said. I don't think this thread is pointless because race is and can be an issue when it comes to camming and this industry in general. Some of us have to deal with race and race issue everyday so I don't see why it can't be discussed when it comes to camming. I just think that some of the things that are being said in this thread could've been left out.

I don't care if the timing was wrong. I had a question. Had you responded in a timely manner, I'd've remembered it. It was in relevance to what we were talking about, something that hasn't been discussed nor on my mind in two days. I know my intentions and I don't care enough to remember the question now. More than just you "disagreed with me" about the term "people of color". You're not special or an exception to that. I didn't ask anyone else who disagreed what their race was. If I wanted to "pick a fight with people" (as you seem to view it as) who disagreed with any notion I made, there'd be a "what's your race, if you don't mind me asking" on every page. My having asked you that was for no particular reason beyond the question I had for you and I really don't care much more than to clarify, in as much the same as you don't care past what you "think" I was going for.
Didn't unsubscribe after clarifying for scarletl. I'll be sure to do that now though.

So interesting to me how many white cam girls here have gone so out of their way to deem this thread unimportant. I'm surprised to read, "this offends me as a white woman," and it makes me wonder what offends you exactly? Are you offended at the thought, the inclination that you make more money than women of color? Offended at the thought that race plays a factor into how you and other women make their money? Wow, that's so worth being offended about so we shouldn't discuss it.
Do my words seem harsh and scathing?
Good.
They were meant to be because those comments are derailing the topic of discussion.
Sorry, ladies, for once it's not all about you.
A friend of mine informed me about this discussion that so quickly devolved into a forum of...well let me not go there, you've read all the responses. So I felt the need to input my real world experiences as a dark skinned, natural hair (sisterlocs), curvy, black cam girl who's been working successfully almost two years now. With camming I can take care of my grandmother, I can afford fun vacations with my boyfriend, I can pursue my interests as a graphic designer and visual artist. I work on Chaturbate and Streamate and both sites (mostly) treat me very well in terms of how much money I make. It's been a slow uphill battle to get to this place, and I'm still not where I want to be, but I certainly do way better than my old design desk job.
Being a black camgirl is more difficult than you can possibly imagine if you are not black yourself. Not only are we devalued by men but they make it a point to humiliate us daily. Sure you may get called bitch, slut, whore but imagine if on top of that you are called nigger, jiggaboo, porch monkey, tar baby. Sometimes people try to use those last three "affectionately" like I don't know what the fuck they are talking about. People say they want to lynch you, they tell you to get back to picking cotton, they claim to be KKK, neo-nazis, liken your genitals to an animal's, I mean the list goes on. Then there's the guys who go on and on about how much they love black women on the site, how much they value us, how glad they are that we're here but never tip. Or even worse, you find those same dudes in a white girl's room tipping her.
These are things that have been said to me and that I have witnessed, daily. DAILY.
I cannot make this shit up even if I wanted to...
I don't think white girls can imagine the daily pain that we feel because even after we turn off our cams and computers the racism doesn't end. We walk out in the street and are called these same things to our faces. It may not happen as daily as when we go to work but it does happen. Black men say to our faces, "you'd be prettier if you were lighter," "dark skin girls are ugly," "white girls only," I mean they've even made MEMES to put down black women!
So I find it highly offensive, to me, that OP was trying to make a safe space to discuss this and a majority of it are white women derailing the topic calling it "pointless" and "offensive to white women"! Are you saying my experiences are pointless!? Are you saying the experience of other cam girls of color don't apply here!? How is it possibly "offensive" to you when you have no daily racist experiences and this topic has really done nothing other than point out white privilege. I don't have to point to any specific incidents just in porn world, it's just a magnification of real life. In real life white women are put on a pedestal, asian women are seen as exotic objects, latinas are fiery sex fiends, and black women are ghetto loud trash.
Who should really be offended here?
I do have to work twice as hard as white women. I do have to steel myself emotionally every time I turn my cam on. I do have to stick to my guns and not "cheapen" myself because every other new douchebag in my room asks me, "Why are you expensive? Black girls can't be expensive". I do have to get my tongue ready to cuss some jerk out every five minutes because he won't respect me. I do. I do.
This is my REALITY.
How dare you try to make this about white women's feelings, IT'S NOT RELEVANT TO THIS TOPIC.

not to point out anything too obvious...but " ebony" gets a separate listing like us T-girls, BBW, asian etc etc- that to me is an indication right off the bat in the industry that not all things are created equal in the eyes of this business ( which does not help because said business is what feeds the consumer and they adopt whats presented - Im not a transwoman, Im a shemale, tranny, trap and so on because of the industry, so thats what I am to the custy's
and thats looking at the very lowest rung in the whole issue, you dont even need to get into detailed accounts to be able to realize that yes ones ethnicity does play a factor

This thread is so interesting to me. Comparisons keep getting made between Black women and BBW women. I'm curious about the experiences of women who fall into both categories. Do you find that offensive people in your room focus on one aspect more than the other?
Mmmm I've never thought about it really. I get comments like "you a pretty big girl" and then from another customer "WOW you are one pretty black girl" Neither is a compliment when you think about it. But I suppose I shrug off the big girl comments easier than the race ones. Im used to getting those said to my face. Rarely does anyone say mean racist things to me in person. At least not so I can hear it. But I will get tons of advances from guys who will mid conversation say "You know I love big women" as though that's all it takes for me to spread my legs. I just respond by saying "Of course you do baby"

Very good point. It's ok to have a fetish for a particular race, or for a particular minority gender identification, but it is not ok to assume that if someone is attracted to a particular race, gender, or whatever, that they are attracted to them BECAUSE they have a fetish for it.
Like when Bill Maher dated two black girls in a row, everyone was saying he's into black girls, and he's trying to make a point cause he's so liberal and shit. Or when my husband, who had dated mostly white girls beforehand, had a couple of black girlfriends and his parents said "you have quite the fetish for black girls, son."
Why should it be so weird to be attracted to someone from a different race? Do I have more in common with a white European guy than I do with a black American? Probably the fuck not!
I can't imagine how upsetting it must be to have to choose "shemale" as your gender on a camsite. Makes me want to punch them in the fucking face. It's 2014, assholes.

I noticed that too. I noticed that women from most countries generally have lower rates (mostly because their cost of living is lower and/or they're working for a studio who gives them a fixed rate) and are treated poorer than women in countries like Canada, the United States, the UK, or even Australia. I've seen women get really quick to defend how they're basically not the "trash" of their countries. I've even seen one person here refer to women who I could only presume are the Latina women from Colombia and the Asian women from places such as the Philippines, Thailand, etc as "third world" cammers. It's disappointing to see the trend of bias based on silly things like that amongst ADULTS, you know?
Not to be stereotypical or mean, but most guys who go online to watch cam girls are probably not very mature and socially capable with women in real life, so of course they go online and label cam girls as third world and such.

it matters a lot I am racially ambigious and i have had people leave my chat when they find out I'm not the race they want me to be. it pisses me off bc i have never had any issues in real life also if they're attracted to my why should it matter what race i am?
also I am half black but I don't look black I have had people say racist shit in paid chat. I had one guy say he doesn't hire blk ppl bc they're lazy. I kicked his ass out. I had another guy say he thinks blk women are ugly I told him I am black. i have never experienced racism until I started camming.
In my real life I have always been proud and honest about what race I am but I have considered passing on cam. sometimes I don't correct them when they think I'm a certain race if I know they're picky or have a fetish I just let them feel stupid when they read my profile.
on a positive note I think race has helped me stand out bc guys who live in the middle of no where usa or some euro country will never see a girl like me walking down the street i have had a lot say they wish they had exotic girls like me in their towns so it's not all bad

I feel sorry for a lot of these so called men because they clearly are racist pricks. I've never cared what color a person was, I cared about their character. Camming really can show you an ugly side of people.

Thank you, you nailed it with your posting. That is exactly what I meant.
I could never imagine how awful it must be to be treated horribly on cam because you're black. After reading some of these posts I can't believe some people still act like that in this day and age.
I will say that I think some of the people took offense on here because they aren't white, but people assume they are by pics or usernames. On cam I'm under Latino and sure I could change that to white but why lie. I have a chance to teach people that we don't all have dark hair and dark eyes like they think.
I love this when describing Cuban culture.
"Despite its multi-ethnic composition, the culture held in common by most Cubans is referred to as mainstream Cuban culture, a Western culture largely derived from the traditions of Western European migrants, beginning with the early Spanish settlers, along with other Europeans arriving later such as the Portuguese and French, along with West African culture which has somewhat influential despite the fact that most minority Afro-Cubans are of Haitian origin"
