I just bought an air fryer and I'm having so much fun with it!
Made bacon with my eggs this morning, and made salmon and steamed some veggies for dinner.
Quick, easy, and delicious.
Oh, and the grilled cheese sandwich I made for lunch yesterday was amazing!

Oh yessss, air fryers are a game changer. I don't need one, since my oven does the same thing, because it has a fan, but woaaahhh, now I can eat fries without feeling guilty hahaha!

Yes, definitely a game changer.
I've been using a crockpot too for when it's too hot to cook.
It's over 110 degrees here for six months, and even with the ac on, my kitchen gets too hot to heat my (gas) oven.

I sold the crockpot, lol. Get yourself an instant pot if you can, it's game changer, I promise. The meat becomes as tender as it does from a crock pot, only that in 30 minutes :))) And many instant pots also have slow cooking option anyway. I love it when it's hot outside: soups, stews, pulled meat... all ready in less than 1 hour! woaaahh!!

I got a microwave that is an air fryer also, using the proper setting is very important. Took me a long time playing around with it and it is kind of loud but I love it and think it's worth it! I love doing the slow cook meals it is so easy and the meat always comes out juicyand tender
We could use a thread like this but for things other than meal planning like gym/work out/life planning,? Since I been full time cam I am always tired. I have no life. I have a lot camming related pain like muscle pain, hand/finger/wrist pain from typing, headaches from lights and music and reading chat. I adapt to do less so I can do more hours but my body is not doing well with it

How many hours are you streaming? I take two full days off each week and that helps a lot to reset my brain and body. I read 15 Secrets Successful People Know About Time Management and the most helpful thing for me was the idea of getting rid of a to-do list and instead scheduling the individual to-dos on your schedule and literally blocking out times where you do things. Another part of the book is to schedule the most beneficial (makes the most money) activities FIRST in your day so you don't waste the day with little things that don't make as much/make nothing.
I'm not sure of the best way to avoid pain, I have endometriosis so unfortunately thats a part of life for me. For light/reading/music my therapist told me to remember to blink, because with screens we tend to stare a lot. That helps me.
I'd love to hear camming pain relief ideas too!

I just came across a really good comment on reddit and I thought it would be awesome to post it in here, since it breaks down the myth around zero calorie drinks and why we shouldn't drink them at all:
"A few reasons
First, your tongue has sweetness receptors, not sugar receptors. When you drink things like Crystal Lite and diet soda your body uses the sweetness as an anticipatory signal that blood sugar is going to rise and preemptively releases a bit of insulin into your system. Because there is no sugar actually coming in, blood sugar drops and triggers hunger.
Two, by drinking artificially sweetened drinks (and using artificial sugar in foods) you are artificially raising your sweet tolerance. So things like blueberries and vegetables don’t taste as good because you are used to unnatural levels of sweetness. When you remove artificial and added sugars from your diet your taste buds adjust and you’re better able to taste and enjoy real foods more. The same happens with salt."
It makes perfect sense to me, I always feel extra hungry when drinking diet coke and yeah, fruits taste way better a few days after cutting sugar and stuff like that. I will try cut down on my liquid stevia too and enjoy my coffee black. I managed to do it for a week and it was good, then idk how I felt like adding some stevia again and now I hate it all simple hahaha.

50 hours. Maybe the times I take off is my problem. I never feel like I have a day off since Im always working on somthing. Do you take 2 days in a row like a 'weeked'?
Ladies do you meal prep on your days off? All 7 days or just soem? What I been doing is slow cook a couple days a week, start that in the morning, reheat any of those leftovers usually 2 days a week, and on my day off cook 2 or 3 meals to reheat for the remaining days.

That is definitely a lot of hours! I do take two days off like a weekend. I meal prep on one of those days for the week, especially breakfasts and lunches.

I prep all my meals on my day off for the next week-breakfast, lunch and dinner with the exception of breakfast on my days off. Those days I fix a good omelette or something nice for myself.
For the last couple of months I have been eating brown rice, avacado, diced roma tomato with flax seed oil, liquid aminos, with lemon juice. Lunches have been sandwhichess and kale salad.
When I do cook for lunches- I usually cook sheet pan meals. Something I can quickly put together and bake in the oven while I prepare something else.
Crockpot meals are great and I do those for dinner meals if I am low energy or got a lot going on in the week,

I'm cutting down on sweetened drinks this week, picked up the habit dieting for physique competition - to fill up my stomach when I experienced burning hunger and try to feel as if I was feeding cravings. It's never gone away although other effects of dieting have since I got back to higher / healthy body fat levels. It's a many years habit and my go to (can't drink alcohol, and I don't smoke or use substances). I am fed up of constant bathroom trips, and feeling wierd - I'm talking 6+ litres fluid intake per day, 2 to 3 of which are sweetened fizzy drinks. I do make my own sparkling water using a Soda stream machine, so herbal teas, fruit teas, water, decaff coffee with a little caff make up remainder of fluid intake. I think I'm feeling better, it is taking time.

Nobody seems to talk about the constant peeing and it bothers me. When I drink that much water I literally pee every hour of the day or more and it even wakes me up at night. How is that recommended to people.. to me is wrong.. it cant be healthy to be peeing CONSTANTLY LOL
I have the soda stream too and havent used it in a year because it just seems to be a hassle.... You just fill the cup with water? Why havent I thought of this!

I am annoyed because I have a hard time wearing fetish stuff, since I gotta pee so often. It's a pain in the ass to go to bathroom, ugh...

What I made the other night was good for at least 4 meals and it was so yummy & healthy.
It's the beef sausage with cabbage, garlic, onion, butter salt & pepper. I also made garlic mashed potatoes on the side from scratch. Cheap yet so easy to make.

I had 5 days off where I didn't count my calories, i also were on period and I did indulge myself with chocolate and carbs, lol. Time to get back at my calorie tracking, so I am gonna look for some healthy 500 calories dinners, to make for this week. I usually make enough servings to eat 2 days in a row. I'll post link when I find something nice, for anyone interested.
For breakfast I usually have my toast with ham, cream cheese, veggies and a fruit (usually 300 calories), for snack before workout I have my bowl of muesli/ granola or porridge that's 300 calories and I have about 500 calories left for a big dinner. The rest of 100 calories (from my 1200 goal) is usually a fruit, my stevia coffee and that's it :))

back into camming after yearsss off and want to do things more healthy this time around. Years ago I HAD to drink before camming and that just caused more issues than I needed. I've decided to eat a "power meal" before camming everyday
Tonight I'm having mixed spring salad with tilapia and some green tea.
Go me!
