One big victory with this month's challenge was being able to call my mom this morning and tell her I have money in the bank for her exit exams and certification process :) The next will be the look on my honey's face when he sees what I have planned for his birthday!

After today... $ goals for the month met. Now I can just focus on working as many shifts as possible and perfecting my hustle the rest of the month. I love when I make enough money to make myself comfortable for a little bit. I find that I make more money when I'm not stressed for it. Thank you, October!

I worked this past Friday and Saturday. Both nights were 4 figure nights . I used all of Fridays earnings to pay my taxes for last pay period. However , although I'm halfway to my monthly goal I'm taking the next two weeks off to focus on school. I have a homework backlog plus midterms start next week. So I'm gonna take the next week or two off and just concentrate on that.

Thanks Charlie- I feel like this is super useful advice, and noticed I'd been doing something similar. I have a really low ceiling club but on certain nights I could make triple the norm or more if I busted my ass for every minute. If I only made double I'd end up disappointed and exhausted. If I wasn't able to work that particular shift it would throw my finances for a loop. Lately I've been trying to go slow and steady- be grateful to make a normal person's week worth of wages in five or ten hours, take the pressure off of high energy nights by picking a couple mellow evenings where I love the DJ or manager on shift, and generally enjoy myself more so going in isn't such a daunting task.
I literally go in the club to have fun. That's all. I always, always, always make money. I technically have "goals", but I never focus on them, and I always blast through them. When you want money to come to you, all you do is give out desperate vibes and everyone can tell you are there for money. When you just go in to have fun and do something, everyone wants to hang out with you.

Okay so I have like 3 shifts I "assigned" to myself left for the month... I should be at $410/$600 saved but then we went to the fair tonight and I went a little overboard... soooo I'm picking up Saturday to make up for that.
And I have stayed slightly later into the evening every shift. My last shift, I made $130 after the 6:30 shift change (which is usually my time-to-go-home alarm bell), so it's proving a smart challenge to have taken. Coupled with going in at 3 instead of my usual early arrival, and I'm making more hourly than normal :)

Work is going extremely well but I'm not used to working this much and I now have shin splints :( it's OK though, no pain no gain. Working tonight!

Only did 2 shifts this week (wed and thurs night). Out of town so just show up, do shows, get paid. No lap dances.
First night pretty quiet- second night awesome. I find this is common for small town road gigs- the first night is just the guys who normally go out, but they'll tell all their buddies if "there's a hot stripper this week" and the second night can be packed. Some of the girls who only do out of town can be kinda gnarly, as many of those places take whatever they can get. Not too often they have girls show up that do big clubs as well, so you spend all night getting told you're "the hottest stripper who's been here in forever!!!"
Did it with a friend of mine so that was fun. First time somebody has "made it rain" loonies. Also sold a $7 pair of underwear for $140.
Next week full 7 days in town, hoping for an awesome week.

This month has been up and down due to be snowed under with school work, not working the last 2 weekends at the big club with more money and putting in more hours at the dive, its still been ok overall $$ wise.

Two shifts into week 4 and 1/3 of the way to my week goal. Hoping tonight is killer.

You just totally inspired me! I've had a crap month, health wise. And today I started my period. Ugh! I'm going in to work, regardless. I've only worked 8 days this month. I'm so disappointed in myself. Time to get my ass in gear and go in!
This is the downfall of not having to adhere to a schedule. Don't get me wrong, I love having such a flexible schedule, but sometimes it's hard to make myself go to work.

I'm so disappointed I wasn't able to complete my October Work Challenge. However , I was drinking way too much and letting school slip by the wayside . I don't wanna fuck up at university since it's taken me a long time to truly become serious about my education. I do miss going into the club thou! Especially when my hustle partner texts me about the latest goings on at the club. Just wanted to say I really admire all you ladies that stuck with it. That's fantastic. And I hope this last week ends up being incredible for you all. Like mofos just handing over black cards and throwing stacks on stage!

I still have two shifts left and I'm positive I'll make my month goal. I've made every shift without calling in.
Next month I'm setting a higher goal, same number of shifts (I spent way too much time hiding in the DR this month), I'm also setting a steep savings goal because I have nowhere near enough to show for this month.

Tonight was a great shift for me- pulled 17 dances out of a night most of the stage girls sold 0. It was sort of an odd crowd, but I think what killed the night for most girls was that another club got raided, so we all got hauled upstairs for an emergency meeting to go over what the liquor board allows for contact on the floor- which is "a business handshake" and nothing else. This threw a lot of girls off their game.
Also partially blaming it on new outfit- I found a girl online who makes stuff for more "urban" clubs, so they're all totally fun. Nobody working up here wears anything like that, so I stand out in a good way.

Well, I met my goal even though I missed a couple of shifts that I had wanted to work. It's really hard for me to put school over making money, but I had to make that call twice this month. But still, it was overall a successful month. I got hired at two new clubs this month and had my best shift ever at one of them! Going in to work tomorrow and the only thing I'm regretting is not having had time to make an awesome costume. Oh well. I'll pull something together last minute.
Ready for November and Skanksgiving!

I got really sick for the last week and a half of October- so I'll be working Halloween :(
Bring on November. I know what I need to change and I'm ready to work toward my next set of goals.

Ok guys so I left Foxwoods down $1200. Not fun but I only gamble with discretionary income so I never get too upset when I lose. Still thou. Off to work tonight it is thou. Trying to stick to my October goals. I have made 1/4 of my financial goal for this month so here's hoping I make at least another quarter gain.
Foxwoods got me 2...think I lost a grand in there once like a year ago when there was a bad storm.
