I don't know much about the different types of medication out there but I'm taking Sertraline for my depression and have clonazepam for anxiety if it acts up. I forget to take my meds some days which I kick myself in the ass about because that's probably why I still have slumps some days :(
Sertraline is a generic drug for Zoloft, typically prescribed for depression. It actually does help with some anxiety though. I've seen a few patients with PTSD on sertraline - from a medical standpoint. I will say it gives that mellowed out feeling making you feel more chill.
