I’m booked for a tattoo appointment in June that I’m extremely excited about! The artist is pretty in demand so that was the earliest appointment they had for me. She specializes in hyper-realistic flowers. I am going to get a big pretty rose on my solar plexus. They quoted me at 6-8 hours which will be my longest session to date. I’ve heard that part of the body is pretty rough to get tattooed too. I’ll def be earning some cred for this one, ha.
Happy to be getting tattooed by a woman for this one since I’ll probably have to be topless the whole time. Also happy to be supporting a female artist since the tattoo business is mostly men. (I love the guy who’s done most of my tattoos, he’s a genius, but this will be a good change)
The best part of the whole situation...I’m paying for it entirely with dividend income from stocks I bought while I was dancing!

Wed afternoon my dude has booked another ski trip.
He seems to love them haha.
I don't even do snow sports but hell if he is booking this lodge AGAIN and feeding me I'll make my schedule work to include it !
I knew he was doing this but it didn't seem " real " until now that is it just a couple days away.

I had an urgent matter to tend to yesterday. At first I was pissed that it completely inconvenienced me n threw off my workday. But now I’m just glad that I am safe/it only cost me a few bucks and some time to get it situated.

Grateful for a full day off and all to myself. I cherish my family/couple time, but I haven't had a day where I had the whole day off with no one else home in I don't know how long. I'm usually waking up to people here that I devote time to until at least 1pm, and then scrambling to get my to-do list done. It was so nice to wake up early, but then lie in bed on my phone for 2 hours without guilt. And now have the rest of the day to slowly get things done as I please.

Grateful that my grocery shopper app gig is finally "rolling out" their daily cashout feature, so now I can work and get paid the same day ( just like dancing) rather than wait a whole week to get paid.

^ As it SHOULD be ! Tech with payment processing has come so far ! There is no reason for waiting a week on gig type things like that !

Baby is finally napping which means I finally have time to myself. She had been teething, refusing most solid foods, and wanting to nurse almost constantly since last night. My back and boobs are happy for the break.

^^^Sounds good! I love Cadbury eggs.
I’m grateful for this yummy chicken I made with almond meal. I love shake and bake growing up. Remember shake and bake? This is like the adult version. I’m just grateful to have food in my fridge and a roof over my head.
I’m not exactly thrilled about the current state of events, but all things considered, being able to earn a living wage from home is no doubt a blessing.

I had an interview today. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought that it would be because the interviewer was a non-tech person and the only questions she asked were, "What kind of work have you been doing?", "Are you a student and if so what are you studying?", and, "what was the last book that you read?" Regardless of whether or not I get the job, at least I know that I was prepared for a full-on assault of tech questions(I had answers typed up and open in a word document) and added the cyber security studying in there. At least I know that I tried instead of my last tech interview where they drilled me non-stop with stuff that I either had no clue on or little knowledge and experience of. As an added awesome sauce, my last vanilla job finally sent my last payment and added a $100 bonus.

I’m grateful I’m healing and I have some income coming in. Not exactly happening at the rate I want it to, but slowly my life is getting better.
The vaccines are coming! I have feeling this May I’ll be vaccinated. Which is great. By then I should be all healed up and ready to go back to the gym. In some ways my injury may have saved my life because people are get COVID-19 from the gym. No surprise.

So grateful our security deposit refund check finally came in the mail. I'm glad we got so much back. I'm sure if we had moved out under normal conditions, they would have kept it and found more shit to charge us for, but because the place was already damaged due to the fire, they couldn't really charge us for much beyond a normal carpet cleaning. Which is fine, because we absolutely destroyed that carpet (or the cats did, really), so to just pay for a standard cleaning out of our deposit is okay with me lol
Now, the only issue is getting it to the bank when both my husband and I are never free during banking hours.

My red state finally flipped blue in November and hence also legalized recreational MJ.
I like the body high effects and it has really helped on some of the bad nights with my issues. The head stuff gives me panic attacks and overwhelms me though, so I've been afraid to really use it regularly.
But now you can go into a dispensary and pick exactly what you want! We went to one in Vegas and it was really cool even to my non-stoner self.
We're going to see about getting one of those strains that's like 1% THC and mostly CBD for pain and inflammation. It would be awesome if it really worked.
It also sounds like fun to grow your own plants, which is legal now too. My spouse used to do it and said you have to be neurotic about lighting and water and keeping notes, which is exactly my definition of "fun" ::)

I’m grateful to have a way to make money from home that actually pays my all my bills. As an older model there’s a lot pressure to get a real job from family and society. Sex work is work. If another job isn’t paying more than sex work than I don’t think it’s any better in my opinion. At the end of the day, money makes the world go round.

The Vons monopoly game starts tomorrow. I get all excited because I like to win free stuff!!
I love taking walks around my neighborhood, and I am enjoying my housemates and home. Gals here are a nice family. One of them offered me her old weights. I'm gonna offer he few bucks for em. They're always giving me food. I may buy some muffins to place on the counter to share. The houses around here are insane and I am getting inspired by my surroundings. Definitely a creative vibe in this home.

Been living in the desert for a month now and my skin was NOT having it. Glad I took the plunge and invested in myself.

YES! Girl you are so wise!
I tried many times, to get a 'regular' job, only to cut into my cam, both quality, & quantity.
Not to mention these vanilla places drain me mentally, & don't pay shit.. + they're majorly [B][slave-drivers/B]!!
Im older as well, I feel.looked down on a fair amount in the regular job market.

Proud of myself for waking up early to workout BEFORE work today instead of waiting until after. I not only feel better starting my day off that way, but I get home so late, I usually use it as an excuse to put off anything else productive in the evening.
Also grateful for longer days again. I like seeing the sunshine in the morning and after work.

So I went to my focus group and they said they booked me by mistake and sent me home with an Amazon gift cars for $20. I was supposed to make 50, but that would be having to sit through an annoying long boring session for 2-3 hours. So I got paid for just showing up and leaving. At least they were cool enough to give me something.
Grateful for my kid. He has grown up to be a really kind young man.
For my long walk I took to walk off my Carols Jr burger, which I was also very grateful for.
And my chocolate. And the fact I had no contact with my ex slumlord.

Are you okay?
Yeah, I'm fine physically, thanks for asking. The day after was pretty rough mentally I think due to the sudden change in hormones.
They printed out a picture of the ultrasound for me, I taped it in a card and mailed it to homeboy's house. I put a shit ton of pink glitter in the envelope too. Plus I blocked him back so he won't be able to contact me when he gets the news.
