I'm not working overtime this week. A part of me feels lazy and is mentally missing the bigger paycheck already, but holy fuck, I need some time off.

I'm glad you're doing the self-care thing.

I'm grateful for oranges today.

It stopped raining, so I may go talk a walk by the ocean. I took some edibles and worked on my book, so now I may take more edibles and go for a long walk and then write some more. It's so nice to have peace in my life and be creative.

The new chocolate-filled beignets at Popeye’s.... My favorite food in the world is the chocolate-frosted donuts from the bakery I grew up near which went out of business like 20 years ago. I’ll never forget how they tasted. The Popeye’s beignets taste extremely similar to them and I truly feel like God has blessed me.

I had a travel contract come in today. I sent all the boring compliance/tax stuff to my recruiter and should be signing the actual document tomorrow. I am going to get to leave behind this depressing area and painful memories of my ex, and get paid buku bucks! I listened to Beyonce's Lemonade the other day, at the end she says "Alway be gracious, the best revenge is your paper". Hell yeah. I reminded myself of that lyric all last week whenever I thought about burning his house down.

Just have to pass the stupid drug test...

My anxiety levels have significantly dropped since I moved out of that dirty dump and got my deposit back. I closed that chapter and am loving my new environment.

I have a product testimonial on Thus. I am excited about doing.

Life is peaceful and I am enjoying it.

A year ago, I lost my job, my car, my home, a friend who was really a frenenmy, my boyfriend fell in love wth me and ran away because he got scared, and I had to sleep in my broken car and borrow my son's car to delivery groceries.. And the only place I could find that was in walking distance to Kiddo's house was a rathole with a slumlord who was, in short, an idiot.

Now I am in a nice part of town, I live with kind people, my car is fixed, I have a career and a side gig I like, boyfriend and I have been getting along, money is coming, and I feel like I am slowly rebuilding and on an upward trajectory. What a difference a year makes.

^^^ Have you tried the magnetic lashes...omg...l I love them. They last so much longer. Not quite as strong as glue on, but I love how easy they are to take on and off.

I’m grateful I only paid $200 for taxes. The bright side of not being able to work and being in school all last year. I was scared shitless. The year before I made (cough) claimed I made (cough) 12 k and I still paid a shit ton in taxes because I’m single and have no kids. Glad taxes are over with. As soon as this stimulus check comes in I’ll be able to start paying off debt. Praying my pain will go away so I can work full time. I am getting better instead of worse-grateful for that too. I’m grateful I survived the pandemic. Fuck I’ve been living on a prayer for a year. I lost my job, became s disabled, quit my dream. I still got my degree and got the score I needed on my entrance exam. I’m still here mother fucker...LOL.

Fall down 9 Get Up 10!

I ordered a pair of an unknown brand once from Amazon and it didnt work for me, maybe ardell brand of magnetic lashes would be better, which brand did you use?

^^^promagentic. I just looked for you. I got them at target, but I think Walmart has them. I think the glue on are better for performing, but I wear mine when I cam and I usually just fix them a bit after a scene and they stay on all night. I don’t like spending money on work stuff, so that fact they are reusable are why I like them.

My state is opening shot for everyone next month. Shots, shots, shots. I’m gonna get a shot then take a shot. I’m so excited! Probably will take a bit, but I’m so happy it’s almost here.

My acting gig/shoot went well. Took all of 10 minutes to say a couple lines and then they paid me $100. Easiest gig ever. Then I went to the grocery store and got almost $30 worth of groceries for $16 and a big chunk of Monopoly tickets. Yay!

Oh I know! bahaha. It's time for Dr. Phil! lol. My dogs are big and they stink so this helps a bunch too plus the scent is super nice. I remember having movers when I moved from Downtown LA to NYC who put masks on because of the dog smell and needed the windows open. It's not too pleasant.

But honestly I'm obsessed with patchouli scent and a diffuser despite my excuses! lol

I got 3 new reviews talking about how I exceeded their expectations, should've booked more time, and even prettier in person. I feel like a queen. I haven't made this much money in the LA/OC area in years as of this month.

Meanwhile on the cheap site, there's a blog out there that someone used a hidden camera and the man sold her video for like 1000 dollars or something to a porn site? LOL. What a difference one site can be.

I'm moving soon for work. Last night I had a facetime call with someone offering a room for rent in the location I'm heading to; afterwards they texted me their Venmo username so I could send a rent payment. I was so anxious to lock the situation down that I sent the payment without fully reading the text. I accidentally sent a whole months rent to someone else with an identical name!!!!

I opened a support ticket right away, and amazingly they've already issued a refund. What a lucky duck I am today!

Also really grateful to myself for being reasonably smart with my money. When covid started I was still in school but I saw how ppl were getting laid off left and right, even in healthcare which traditionally has been a very stable field. It made me realize that saving up an emergency stash was of the utmost importance. I've been trying to live below my means since I started working. Ultimately I want to have enough $$ in my emergency fund to be able to support myself for 6 months-not there yet but I was able to send a second payment to the correct person while I waited for Venmo to sort out the situation. Never thought my "emergency" would be something so dumb but glad I was able to keep it moving!

It’s frustrating having a disability, but I’m able to work full time now. I was so sick I couldn’t work a couple months ago. It was so scary! I’m thankful I’m getting better. Of course I wish I was back to my normal way of life, but we all do right now...lol. I found a doctor that fixed my wrist and my massages seem to be working. He even gave me a discount rate, so I’m thankful for that too. Tendons take a LONG time to heal! So I bet by June I’ll be back to normal and I’ll be able to work like a dog. I just have to take it easy now. I am also working on the root cause of my disease-I swear to god it’s stress. I really think the pandemic just was too stressful. I’m still here though. My stimulus check is coming and I have money for bills. All is well right now and I’m grateful for that. Things could be a lot worse!

Unexpected $ from someone I thought had fucked me over. It took him 3 days but he sent me the $ he owed me. Also, earlier a cute big 'ol groundhog came wandering around and eating in our backyard. It provided free entertainment for the kids and I from the window for about a half hour.

I'm officially over my brief stupid crush on BD's nephew. He was siding with BD on why I should give him another chance. Seriously? I gave him several chances and he continued to lie, cheat, and be verbally abusive. He hasn't changed his sleazy ways, judging by his phone, even if he was extra loving to me when he came back. He'll just continue to keep hurting me.

OMG I thought I wrote this in the Random thoughts thread. Oops!

On me it has a very strong coconut scent. Very lush and creamy. And it has a rich salty caramel scent? It's like heaven. Here are the notes from Ulta:

Fragrance Family:
Floral

Scent Type:
Warm & Sweet Gourmand

Key Notes:
Top - lavender, pear, bergamot
Middle - coconut, praline, vanilla orchid
Base - cashmere

^^^You know what's weird? I thought it WAS in the Random Thoughts thread and was confused when I didn't see our posts in there the next time I looked. Glitch in the matrix??

Your description is interesting, I heard someone else describe it as clean and powdery which doesn't really match what's in it, yours makes more sense. I love the smell of coconut though and I don't own a single coconutty perfume. Either way I don't care because I just need that adorable cloud bottle. :cloud9:

I just ran on the beach for an hour and now my arm barely hurts at all.Grateful to have half my vax over with, to live in a nice place by the beach, glad everything in my life is peaceful at the moment. I am really enjoying this. Also grateful to have a little money and to know that more is on the way is keeping me calm.
