He should start fibbing about graduating high school possibly.
It's so unlikely that someone will EVER check.
He actually sounds pretty decent from your posts. He seems grateful too for the help you've offered ( just the vibe I get ).

If this is who my sister is going to end up with, he at least has some fucking sense. He got the shop helper job. My sister doesn’t want him working where I do, but where else will an 18 year-old with an 8th grade education get paid what they offered him to start? And he’s intelligent enough, but his family (in traditional Mennonite fashion) pulled him out of school after 8th grade. What gives me some optimism about him is that, after finding out what his starting pay was going to be, his reaction was to ask me about saving and budgeting. It’s a bit of a welcome relief, as boys from the community when they leave it tend to get real materialistic and develop a hole in their pocket and other bad habits. And on the ‘English’ side, that problem exists with current and past boyfriends which friends and acquaintances of mine ended up with.

Peplum tops. They're apparently very good at camouflaging bellies. You totally can't even tell that I have a big 17 week baby bump hidden under there. 55925

I'm meeting with kiddo to go kayaking/aqua cycling on the bay. So excited to spend time with him. This whole covid mess has kept us separated and it sucks but now that we're both vaccinated I feel it's ok to meet him to do outdoor activities.

Cleaned my make up bag today and so grateful for all the great make ups I have. Some stuff were barely even used.
I need to make a conscious effort to rotate and wear other lipsticks instead of the same usual ones now that I don't have to wear a mask thanks to being fully vaccinated and properly microchipped.

It was so nice kayaking with kiddo today. We were out there for about an hour and a half and it was the perfect day for it. Nice weather and barely anyone was out on the water in their boats. We saw sea lions, fish, and pelicans. For my birthday I want us to go to a pumpkin patch and visit some farm animals. Hopefully there will be one open BC who knows with covid and all. I want to also celebrate my new place by getting a pumpkin and we can also get one for kiddos place, too.

Also today I scored an all-day focus group that will feed me and pay decent.

He is. In the process of getting him set up with tools and such, and his own parents got wind of it and are pitching in as well, so I suppose for once I can appreciate my sister being as chatty as she is. I thought my sister’s apprehension was that she thought I’d torment him, but I was wrong. She’s happy about him getting the job, and I work for a good company and make good money doing what I do. She said to me, “I don’t want him to start listening to your music”.

I had to come in early for a hay delivery, so I’m looking at stickers on RedBubble.

There’s something I find oddly satisfying about that one, and I just want to buy a bunch of them and put them everywhere.

My bank gave me a credit for the amount Verizon siphoned out of my account.A nice receptionist gave me directions to an apartment I had no deliver to and made life easier. I got in a nice nap. And taco Bell has their crispy potato tacos now that I love. They're not even 300 calories.

Grateful to have people who care about me to fly out to help me after my mother’s death.

Grateful for all your support, I really needed it.

Grateful that I finally got an earning that was stuck, out of my ear. Seems like something my mom would have helped with. Man I’m the worst atheist sometimes…

Thank you all again

Grateful that I got my closet all cleaned out. I gave away a bunch of clothes and threw a bunch of other stuff away. There is so much room in there now and i keep opening up the door admiring how it looks.

Someone left a small pile of nonperishables on the table in the laundry room for anyone to take. They were all things that I would actually eat, even if I normally wouldn't spend the money on them myself. Since my most anxiety-producing expense is groceries, I took them and was thankful. Will be fun to make pudding.

I have this one patient who always comes to the clinic wearing a pair of Calvin Klein joggers and it inspired me to order a couple pairs for myself. It seems like a small thing but it was a huge mindset shift for me! Usually I buy the cheapest pair of sweatpants at Walmart etc, and wear them until they're raggedy with holes. Spending 5x more money was well worth it for sweats that will hold up well for years. And I will look subtly more put together to myself and others which brings social benefits. Really happy with my decision.

Found some cheap old ugh boots on posh. One of the great things about the Midwest is the style is behind the times, so I can wear a lot of old stuff for a lot longer. People here are pretty basic, so I don’t have to spend a lot of money on clothes.

I felt the same when I lived in small town New England! It’s normal there to have a winter wardrobe that you wear for years until an item wears out. Even in Boston people are like that just with more pairs of shoes etc.

I’m trying to spend less money on Grubhub so I can spend it on clothes instead…went to Trader Hoes and got a bunch of nice snacks and candy. I was able to snag a pound of smoked salmon for $21! The total at the register wasn’t even that bad and way less than I’ve been spending ordering out multiple nights per week.

Also grateful I only have 4 more weeks of work before my rest-of-2021 vacation.

I love that the weather is in that perfect spot to have my bedroom window open all the time. I love the fresh air and that just-chilly-enough Fall temperature. I'm so damn glad summer is over. I was so over it.

Also love the set-up I have on my desk, right next to said window, with my 2 laptops set up for easy productivity.

^ That's funny there was a mention of a desk.
J moved my desk into our room. I found that really sweet. He told me he even measured the space before suggesting we move the large desk ( he knows I love efficiency ).
That creates a nice work corner solution because that room is clutter free and has a door .
I was just desperate for somewhere to put it and moved it to a room I hated that is cluttered ( it was the only piece of furniture I brought from up North ).

The podcast interview went great. The co-host read my book and said he loved it, which felt good to hear. I'm glad it helped someone. They were very nice and personable people.

Also for blackberry hibiscus Flow water. It is so good, like spa water, and I feel so boujee when I drink it. Their strawberry rose water is also a favorite.

I really expected to catch a rash of shit from my mother because of my sister’s big mouth, but her reaction to it… I wouldn’t call it supportive, but understanding. Not entirely sure what she meant when she said, “You’ve always been the one to keep this family on our toes, anyhow”, though. But I don’t think it was anything bad that she meant with that. Whole thing’s kinda embarrassing in a sense still, but maybe it’s not bad after all.

Still not gonna tell her about the war, though.

Grateful to be on meds but fuck it's making my spelling awful and I talk so much more now, lol. Grateful it's making me less moody but when I go off, I really go the fuck off ;D

I don't mind openly talk about things I struggle with. For me it's very therapeutic. I see it as 'bringing the monster out of the dark' so there's no shame or stigma. Healthy people or working on being healthy own their shit. The good, the bad and everything in between.

I'm bipolar 1 and that's more severe than bipolar 2, something I didn't know. The lower the number, the more batshit crazy one is. There's no such thing but I strongly feel I'm bipolar 0, ZERO, lmfaoo! #batshitcrazyhoe

I went out with some friends from the cat clinic tonight for someone's birthday and it was going fine until we got to dessert and being crazy tired hit me all of a sudden and then a few minutes later I felt so crazy sick I told everyone I was leaving immediately. I thought I could drive home but then I started to pass out walking to my car. Anyway someone saw and insisted on driving me home and even walked me to the front door. It was so sweet. I often feel very burdened with having no support offline and it was a nice reminder I do have some people who are looking out.
