Soo grateful that when my car overheated in the middle of nowhere, that angels swooped in to intervene.
Im new to this town, so i dont know where anything is.
Met a sweet angel who helped me at the Walmart i pulled into, which has a car repair area.
He didnt charge me to clean up the mess, and tape up my hose so i could make it home.
AND he's going to buy a new hose, and come by to replace it for very little money.:)
When I got home I found $160 dollars i forgot i had! I've been reading about this happening with people who use LOA, but it's never happened to me,....until today!
God is good. God is great!:pray:

Today I am grateful for the tiny steps I have been taking toward all the stressful situations I have been dealing with lately. Tiny steps are much better then no steps at all, which I would probably do if I was to get to overwhelmed.

Today I am grateful for my sense of motivation, for the fact that I have money in the bank and for the fact that as a whole, my life doesn't suck.

Investing in myself. I've spent the past paying so many bills that I was recently able to splurge on myself. I got mainly things that will make me more money, or my job easier. I'm grateful for having the strength and perseverance to build my cam desk all alone. The box said 2 people but I proved that theory. Let's just hope it doesn't fall on me, or down in the middle of the night but I think it's pretty sturdy. *crosses fingers*

What surprised me is once I put it all together and cleaned my space I actually wanted to spend more time inside of it. If I'm not working I only surf on my laptop in bed. Once I spruced up my cam space I realized how our work space can really liven up or dampen our flow. Our cam spaces are where we spend a lot of our time and I think having somewhere to go to where we can feel 'at home' while working can really make a difference in our mood and overall earnings.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to even choose to work from home. It still blows my mind at times. It really is true independence. I decided to cut off one of my parents whom I recently outted myself as a sex worker to. I was cutting them off anyway but I decided to come out to them personally. Let's just say I'm grateful that sex work gives me something to stand up for, even when others judge us.

It's great to see how well you're doing, you seem to be going through a metamorphosis on many levels. I cut ties with my dad back in September and it felt liberating for me too. I've never been a people-pleaser, even if the person in question is a parent lol.

...

I'm grateful for online shopping. It really is the shit.

I am surprised by the benefits of a 30 mins nap. I've been drinking 3-4 cups of coffee every day and I still feel so tired and need another one after 2-3 hours. I decided to take a quick nap this afternoon instead of buying a fourth cup of coffee at 3 pm and I woke up feeling so energized and motivated to accomplish tasks that needs to be done! I should take quick naps more often instead of drinking so much coffee that my stomach feels irritated.

I woke up today. I'm in good health. I have a wonderful, handsome, smart little boy, and a great boyfriend. I have food, water and coffee. I have a bed, heat and warm clothes for the winter. I have a vehicle and a safe place to live. Grateful for the basic things today; trying to remember how blessed I am compared to most people in the world.

So grateful that my first boss from many many yrs ago still has the same number.
I'm going through burnout pretty bad, and needed a pep talk.
She's a master salesperson, so I knew she'd give me great advice.
Not only did she, but she's now living in the town I want to move back to...She'll get me into any condo/house I want with her glowing recommendation.
Soo grateful right now.;D

I'm grateful for the awesome repair shop & car rental place. I was super stressed out and about to swear off work and go home to day drink. I dropped my car off (finally) and the repair place made a big point to try to make sure the insurance wouldn't have a problem with paying my rental car for the weekend + next week's 4 day weekend. They ended up leaving the girl a message like "we're declaring it non-driveable so tough shit, you have to pay the rental starting today".

Then I got the rental branch manager who was super chill and funny. She heard what my car was and went "Aw hell no, they want me to put you in a Corolla! That's not comparable! Not happening!" She also called the adjuster (who I bet will be peeved on Monday morning w/ these messages) and said I was really upset to be put in such a stupid little car compared to mine, and could they please upgrade it. Then she knocked the price down so even if they won't cover it it's only like $6 a day... and she put me in a convertible Camaro w/all the fancy screens and cameras inside :rotfl:

So then I was in a better mood & had to drive it, so I went to work and made lots of $$. Yay!

Oh & grateful for my day shift manager who heard about it and immediately gave me his lawyer friends #. Said he'd gotten a girl her house down payment out of a whiplash settlement. Perfect, haha.

I hope this insurance stuff keeps going this way, because KNOCK ON SO MUCH WOOD, me and my 'team' seem to be somehow outmaneuvering & getting the best of them in every situation.

It's my dog's adoption-versary :) 3 Black Fridays ago, I went 'shopping' at the animal shelter. I'm grateful the other dog I went for was adopted and that this guy was going nuts... resulting in "let's let him out to play at least" and then "I can't put him back now! He thinks he's free!" ::)

A happy hour invite :)

Also, a massage customer today that booked way ahead . He came to the parlor 20 minutes late. I was feeling generous post happy hour and was going to do his full hour anyway but he had to leave right on time. He tipped 65% . :)

My comfortable bed. I stayed over a friend's place Sunday night, and the couch I slept on was horrible. Not only was it dirty, and smelly, but their was a weird hard something bulging up from the middle of it. Plus, I could hear drunks fighting outside most of the night.
I am grateful for the wonderful night sleep I got, now that I'm back in my bed.:cloud9::sleep:

My grandpa just found out recently he has cancer also. :( But with all the time he spent in the sun over the years I actually think he's lucky he didn't get it earlier in life (skin cancer).

I'm grateful that ovulation has pushed me out of a month+ depressive episode and that my doctor is trying to help, even if I'm worried about the possible diagnoses.

I'm grateful for multiple income streams that I can run simultaneously. If I didn't have them, I'd have to work over three times as many hours for a monthly paycut of $300. I'm glad I had the skills, the options, the time and the support to build this life and I'm glad it's finally paying me back in full, after over five years of trying.

I am also unbelievably grateful that I got to glean some corn and make dried corn, but I'm not sure why this makes me so happy. I just like looking at my sack of corn.

I'm grateful my husband stocked my fridge last week and bought me cheesecake, which I am now stuffing in my face. I'm grateful to have him in my life...even if we never work things out, he's still family to me and always will be.
