Thankful I got a new car battery for no charge today. Saved over $200. It has a 4 years warranty, only been 2 years so if the replacement goes bad before my originally warranty is up I'll get another one for no charge, YAAAAY!

Car batteries do not always last 3, 4+ years. That depends on the weather, how much you start your car, etc. Best way is to check every couple months.

Life is good lately.

I have a lot of time and energy to give myself.
I'm not struggling financially as much since 2021 ended ( barf ! ).
Lets never go back to that shit !! :)

It's good to feel good!

My house is properly heated!! It's been so bad the last few days. And I got so much done this evening after the heat was back, it's been too cold to do anything but work or survive under blankets.

That's great sis! I'm sure there would be plenty of fuckboys willing to give you a jump, should your battery die.

A lot of customers are trash, but the customers who are kind and grateful for your presence are the best! I’m grateful for good strip club customers

I’m going to be thankful in advance

I am glad L is taking initiative to improve his career standing with minimal help from me. His ex Bertha is less dependent on him and takes responsibility for her kids now.

I'm glad it's not costing me anything to get roadside assistance. My customer is probably wondering why the hell I am still parked in their driveway after making the delivery like a half hour ago LOL
Update: I'm now out of the driveway and parked on the side of the street thanks to the help of some good samaritans. I should have asked him for a jump while they were here LOL

Another update: I am thankful for the young man who is installing my new battery. He gave me $22 off. Not thrilled about spending $179 on a battery, but whatever, got to do what you have to do.

A coworker that I talk to occasionally but wouldn't necessarily call a "friend" felt comfortable enough with me to come out as trans and tell me her new name. I'm really happy they felt like I was a person they wanted to tell before it started going around the rumor mill when they start transitioning. I was 100% not expecting it, so I hope I responded appropriately enough.

I also got my first chance to have a real, organic ASL conversation with a deaf coworker. We have a lot of deaf employees, but so far, it's never really come up that I can sign fairly well. But when I was running the desk the other day, a woman came up with a problem, and when I signed the answer back instead of typing it on my phone, she asked if I signed a little. I said yes, and she said she was was so happy I could sign because most people there can't. I'm really happy I learned/am still learning it.

I’m grateful for everything I have. Being a stripper isn’t easy. The haters, the stigma, the up and down income, but the ability to pursue my dreams makes it worth it.

I watching this news clip about about food insecurity and I’m happy I’ve never had to go without food or anything I’ve really needed

Yasss one of my books is live on Amazon.

Omg I’ve been wanting to publish for fifty million years.

Now I hope it’s popular enough that Amazon buyers see it and buy it. Or I have to figure out how to promote it so people will buy it.

Anywho I’m glad it’s “live”.

It’s like a baby being born.

Grateful I have plenty of whole foods. It's such a blessing to have enough income to feed myself organic whole foods. This is a luxury and when I see others struggling to make decisions with their food stamps, I can't help but feel abundant AF.

Me too. It can be a struggle to deal with cheap rude men, but at the end of the month I’m glad to have what I need. I can take time off for personal development-which is a luxury for working class people.

I never would have been able to afford my coaching if it wasn’t for stripping.
Plus the time it takes to do this work.

He pays most the house expenses except that and I am super glad he paid it so I can have more to pay down my credit cards.

Now if he could pay this every month. I’d be much happier.

My sister bought and sent me a new foam roller and it's pink :) And whenever I can get to the running store, she'll venmo me the money for new shoes.

My mom also told me to pick out some nice recovery sandals that she also plans to buy for herself while she trains for a walkathon.

Grateful for T started talking about going on a vacation, I haven't been on a beach by the ocean in two years...
He wanted to go next week, but that's really inconvenient for me since I'm going on stage that weekend. Although it is possible, a vacation is not the best way to prepare. After that weekend, I have gap of two weeks, and it seems like we're going then instead.

I’m thankful for the normal people on Facebook Marketplace

So many flakes and low IQ people it’s a miracle our society hasn’t collapsed.

Anyhow the normal sane folks of FBM coming through and buying my moms old artifacts.

I’m thankful she’s willing to part ways with it and letting me and L keep the money

Thank you for much needed rest.

Im also glad I took a T break to reset my tolerance. It’s been about 4-5 days thc free. Although now im ready to get some edibles this weekend.

I slept GOOD last night. I must have gotten the room to the perfect cozy temperature. I didn't wake up at all until my alarm went off, which is weird for me. Even my cat must've been too cozy, because I don't think she moved from her spot under the blanket all night. Didn't even come out to start bugging me for breakfast when the alarm went off lol I finally poked her, and she came out. I never wanted to leave that bed though.

Booked another podcast to promote my book. Hope this helps.

@miss ap, Congratulations on your book! Be prepared to hustle. I use my Twitter to scope for podcasts to tell my story and promote my book. It's one way to get word out there to people and best of all, it's free. Just costs maybe an hour of your time.

Or go on YouTube and find people who would be interested in interviewing you for their channel. That's helped drive my sales up for sure. Good luck to you!

I had a tire blowout on a deserted highway on Thursday.
I'm grateful that my cell phone had reception to call AAA.
The driver could see how freaked out I was, even though I tried to hide it.

He offered to drive behind me until I got closer to civilization, which I greatly appreciated.
When I got to the tire shop, everyone was gracious and very helpful.
I'm grateful to be alive.
My tire was completely shredded, and it could have ended very badly.

Grateful for the free meal I got at native foods today. The guy behind the counter recognized me because I've been in a couple of times and he asked me if I worked in the area. I told him I'd do grocery delivery and then he hooked me up with free food. That was nice. I hope he doesn't start hitting me up for dates or something.

That’s my biggest fear going on longer trips, except from an accident. I’d be totally helpless if anything happens to my car. BF has always made a point of that fact and says I should have some basic knowledge. I can’t even see myself opening the hood..

I need a cake too because HURRAY after a few days trying to get my venmo account back for roomie mortgage it is back lollllll! My only issue is I can't get it online at my hotel right now so I have to try at home to get it on my new phone but it is on my laptop. I will scream if they try to push me into a 10g network in the future after dealing with this hot mess.

They made me send a photo of myself holding my photo id and I looked homeless waking up from my nap and pissed off hahahahahaha. I was so mad it took this long to verify myself. It was my angry venmo mugshot that has me laughing.

It's my biggest fear too. AND I just had my tire pressure checked a month ago.
I had it happen 20 years ago, when I was driving home from a strip trip.
A trucker who was driving next to me, alerted me of it, and got me safely off of the freeway.
Love truckers.:thanx:

I now live in the desert, and have had nothing but car problems since I moved here.
Last May, my car overheated and died in the middle of an intersection, with oncoming traffic.
How I'm not dead, I'll never know. Angels around me I suppose.
It was 105 degrees outside, and AAA dispatcher told me that because of Covid, the driver wouldn't be able to drive me home.
Lyft and Uber drivers were not available.

I thought that was how I would die. There was a church next to my car ( closed for Covid reasons). I sat on the steps and surrendered to it.
When the driver arrived, he said he would give me a ride.

I've had 2 dead batteries replaced in the last 6 months, fixed my a.c. 3x ( it's still not working right.) The check engine light has come on 4x in 2 years.
Mechanics tell me that the desert heat causes car problems.
Nah, not buying it.

I'm not going to drive anywhere for now. My ptsd is off the charts.
Add to that, it's 110-120 degrees from May through October.

I got on the scale today. Over the last month, I've lost 5 lb. The trainer at the gym told me that I should aim to lose about a pound a week, slow and steady. So I'm happy about my progress. Part of me wishes I could lose weight faster, or that I had some at home lipo machine where I could just suck it out myself and call it a day LOL.

I started organizing my closet. My goal is to go through and really clean and organize the whole apartment nicely. So far, the entire closet isn't even done yet. But I did do the clothes. Threw out a lot of old shit and made a small pile of donations. It's a small step, but I'm glad I finally got the ball rolling, because that's something I've told myself I'll start working on during my days off all month.

Not gonna lie but I did the math and still figured i'd do better selling myself but having the security of a regular job plus benefits is hard to give up...plus just someone doing something to show they appreciate me makes the difference

Totally up to you but mehhh if you want the normal life too it's best to do it part time and go in hard on days off.

I'm only attempting to leave the sex industry in 2 years because it would be nice to have a family in my future and move to somewhere cheap for an easy life.

We all have our own different desires. Of course it's a massive pay cut but at what other expense? Life is about balance.

i understand and feel that way too a lot...but yeah i'm kinda really concerned about the long term game and life after sw...i think having a vanilla job will at least help. when I start trying to buy real estate for investing, to having something to put down on applications as consistent income...i'll still be doing escorting part time for a few years to come up with the $$$ to invest.
