I'm grateful my SO is taking care of me. I spent about 8 hours today feeling like utter shit... some kind of mild stomach virus. He's watching re-runs instead of playing his online game, so I can use his good laptop to entertain myself, and made me tea & soup.

I paid my rent
I have support networks
I respected and set my boundaries
I'm able to curl back up into bed
My fridge is full
I am depressed but not suicidal.

I'm so happy about my new regular! (Even though I know this honeymoon period is only temporary and ALL regulars have an expiration date.) He's young, nice, tips well, only wants VIP, and doesn't push my boundaries or demand eight hours of free smalltalk before giving me money. I even gave him my number so we can coordinate my schedule with when he'll be in town and he hasn't tried to ask for nudes or OTC or any of the typical annoying fuckboy texting nonsense. Just a simple, "Hey, are you working tonight? Yes? Okay, see you later!" It's awesome!

I'm grateful the universe has apparently figured out where my tipping point of insanity is and doesn't let it happen. This year it's been with grades, since I'm actually applying myself, despite not having a lot of time.
Over the summer I barely scraped a 90% in anatomy... the grade got posted as I was having a minor meltdown about wasting the summer on it to get a B.
Now I did nothing but study for two of my classes for a solid week, yet still got 70s on the finals. I was pissed I'd probably get a C in at least one class... checked today and I BARELY got a B in there because he decided to curve the class. And the 7 page essay I pulled out of my ass, I got an A on, so an A in that class. Crisis averted :cow:
Thank God. I'll take 2 As, 2Bs and 3 credits for research. That's a 3.7 post bac GPA so far. Yisssssss.

Is a law school schedule different from regular college? I mean, I'm just in junior college and my semester ended last week. Was that your final exam for the semester?

I have two great regulars who've scheduled loooong Skype shows, so I don't have to do one with the most annoying man on the planet. He's beyond irritating, millions of emails leading up, gets butthurt if I don't remember every detail of what he likes. Since he's so disrespectful of my time, I'm not even gonna tell him I can't be on Skype then. I'll just let him figure it out.

Oh my God ! OMG !
I am so THRILLED ! I was cleaning my closet today and found this necklace from the BF at the bottom!
I have been telling him for 7-8 months I was too scared to wear it out ect.
I thought it had fallen off my neck somewhere and I was just not wanting to tell him I lost it !
I couldn't afford to replace the damn thing and I was just getting ready to FINALLY call my insurance agent and deal with it.
OMG ! It's here ! :)
Just in time for holidays where I'll be EXPECTED to wear it or totally busted ! :)
It has a knot it the chain. As soon as I take it in to get the knot out , it'll be wearable!

Yes. I'm going to get the chain looked at too. I think the clasp came undone one day because I noticed it was gone MID - DAY not after taking it off somewhere. I don't really know how it got lost, but I do know I'm going to keep EXTREMELY good track of it now that I have it.

Grateful I have learned when to 'let it go' and 'pass the buck' (at least I think I have).
As much as I don't wanna let someone take 33% of the settlement, it will help my sanity to not have to worry about contacting the insurance company or chiropractor anymore, so I'm probably gonna hire a lawyer tomorrow. It's amazing how stressful it makes me for the rest of the day even to make one phone call to these people in the morning.
Also letting go the ripoff artist thing... it occurred to me that people are fucking nuts and what if he comes back to the club with a gun or something? Not worth it over $200. Gonna drive over and light his phone on fire for my own satisfaction and let it go.

That I'm in an industry that will provide me with the money, freedom, and confidence to open my own business next year, something I never would have thought possible growing up. Plus, I saw a friend do the exact same thing a few years ago. First month in, though the places she advertised with took a huge cut, she made four grand, excluding overhead. Plus, I don't have to physically be there all day if it's close.

I'm grateful for the fact that in this job money is instant, so I can pay for things like continuous education. This is important to me because even though I have college degrees, my passions have changed since then and instead of being stuck, I can pay for courses etc that help me on the path to pursuing new things.

I'm grateful that my vanilla job is doing well enough that I haven't taken very many massage customers.
I set this criteria for the holidays:
Must book 3 -24 hours ahead.
No time wasting / asking for pictures ect.
High End Resorts Only.
( I phrase all this nicely in my ads )
^ my criteria cuts 90% of the customers out and it's just fine ! If someone great calls that meets EVERYTHING , I'm still happy to meet. I'm not remotely interested in going to the spa and giving them part of the money , so I'm not doing Incall at all. My standards are tight but I meet great customers this way ( just a few ).

^^ Those are GORGEOUS! I'm grateful that I was able to comfortable by new clothes, that bills are basically paid off, that I am going away soon and that a really awkward situation resolved itself without me having to do much.
I'm grateful that I learned how to properly fit myself for a bra! The ladies at VS had me wearing bras that were two cups too small... found a tumblr post on measuring yourself, tried it, and now have happy boobs for the first time in my life (:

Long overdue for some club money. So I hit the club and usually my first shift back after a long break is non productive financially. This time in glad most guys I sat with bought dances right away without much effort. Not only did this help me look in demand for next customers but also showed struggly hating a$$ dancers that I'm too busy making money to even give them any thought.

I was feeling really sad earlier today, because I was treated like shit by guys on cam.>:(
I took a break to watch a live stream of Christmas services that my church puts on every year.Macy Gray performed.
It's the first year I'm not there, and I don't have any friends yet where I'm now living.:'( I was having a pity party for myself, but got back on cam, and faked a smile.
(There's a contest on on my cam sites that I'm participating in, but it requires me to stay on cam through the holidays).
Anyway, right in the middle of a cam session, my phone rings. It's my hairdresser. She and her son want to drop by, because they have something for me.
She brought me some homemade food, and a beautiful card.
My mood turned around instantly!:goodvibes
How thoughtful of her to think of me on Christmas Eve. So sweet.
And as I sit here writing this, I notice that it's raining outside.:umbrella:
That means it's snowing in the mountains above me. So tomorrow will be a 'White Christmas' afterall.
So truly grateful.

Thankful for finally feeling calm and centered again. The week leading up to Christmas was hectic and stressful AF, and I rolled into town xmas eve with barely any time to throw my suitcase in my room and run out the door to do stuff again. I allowed myself to bow out of family stuff yesterday and most of today and just fall down an internet hole of stupid videos and articles. Feeling refreshed and like I'm finally officially on vacation. :)

About four months ago I discovered that the online file storing system (don't what the technical term is) had deleted all the files I was storing due to a mix-up with payment... I thought it was on a different card than it was and had canceled the card it was on since I got a new credit card in the UK and they couldn't contact me because I forgot to update my email address after my uni email got shut down. I literally figured it out 33 days after they shut down the account and they deleted my data on day 31. I was seriously devastated, photos of my dad who passed about six months ago, years of writing projects, all my uni work, thousands of music files, videos-- all gone.
I came home for xmas and thought that I might have an old hard drive from a few years ago when my computer had crashed and I'd taken it somewhere for a file recovery and they had transferred the files but also given me the hard drive in the (unusable) computer. I didn't even have to go through boxes; randomly it was at the very top of the first box, amazing considering the ridiculous amount of stuff I still have stored here. I took it today to a computer fixing store (again not sure what the technical term is) since it wasn't an external hard drive and couldn't be accessed by me at home. I thought they would charge me a ton and take a long time to get the files and so didn't think I would be able to get it done, since I couldn't justify spending $200 on something like that right now. But it ended up taking them 3 minutes and cost me $43... three minutes and $43 to have all that back? Yes! I'm so happy to have all these files back that I thought I would never see again. I had almost come to terms with losing everything and it's such a relief to have it all back. And I'm definitely working on figuring out a new way to backup my stuff...

For morning cuddles/lovin from my dog. Every morning she comes up to me in bed and gives me kisses and gets scratches from me. Idk what it is about mornings that make dogs so cuddly but I love it lol it's a cute way to start the day.
