I got my presentation grade today and I replied to my professor saying thank you and I enjoyed putting it together and she replied with 'You earned the grade. As you can tell...I am a hard grader so that score is phenomenal actually. Well deserved'. I feel like a little kid and I'm gonna ride this praise wave for daaays.

I respond this way to praise, too. I feel like with all of the self-work I've done, someone else's opinion shouldn't matter so much. But if I respect a professor / supervisor, their praise means the world to me. I'll obsess over it for weeks afterwards!

I'm grateful I finally got my hair cut! YES no more stringy dead hair! Then today I had a makeover day; did my nails, teeth whitener, took a long hot shower and shaved my entire body, rubbed all kinds of bath & body works lotions all over myself, did a pore strip on my nose..and spent a good hour on my make up and hair instead of just doing the basics. I always feel 100% better about life when I take time to get prettied up. It's the little things.

I'm sooo grateful I can eat whatever I want, never exercise, and still be thinner than most people who do. When I turned thirty, I lost a ton of weight for no reason, it was like a birthday present from God.

Today I'm grateful for the fact that I'm able to buy winter clothes for the first time in 2 years as I have steady money. I'm also grateful for the fact that my skin has reached that stage of good that I can go on cam without foundation! Yay!

Canceling the parts of my old medical insurance that I no longer need was SO much easier than I thought it would be! Almost no hassle at all. I don't know why I was so scared that I put it off so long.

I'm grateful for this planet, this universe, the sun, the stars, love, food, happiness, my family, and my amazing friends IRL and on this site! I'm grateful to be alive and happy and at peace for the first time in my life. I'm grateful to have all my limbs, can see with my eyes, can hear with my ears, and for my good health. Cheers!

I wanted to book a last minute vacation after my last exam on April 27 and did not even have a passport. Delays are usually 10 to 20 business days, express 2 to 9 days but much more expensive.
I went to the location where they can deliver passports in 10 business days despite being super busy prepping for finals today, luckily they told me it will be ready for pick-up on April 26! Just in time so I could leave on the 27 after my exam ends at 11:30. Now I just have to pick a destination.
So much choice but so little time to do research or think it through, sigh. I remember reading a psychology study saying spontaneous decisions are the best decisions. I am usually the type who carefully weight the pros and cons of every choice I make, to the point that my head hurts. Maybe it would be a nice change, see where life takes me.

I'm grateful for my husband's awesomeness. I started my period today and as soon as he got home, he (literally) put me in bed, handed me my laptop, took the kid and went to go get snacks and my favorite salad for dinner. He knows me so well <3

I am ssssssoooooooooo GRATEFUL I did NOT make that last minute left turn, as the light was changing..cause as I looked over across the street, there sat a cop car! There's a construction zone, so I guess it's 'easy pickin's' there.

I'm grateful for food delivery and for living in a neighbourhood that has all these cool restaurants around etc...i'd much rather pay a little more for great restaurant food on days that I don't cook than eat fast food. I'm also really grateful for my mental state at the moment...normally I would be a wreck by now, but I feel calm, confident and collected and for that I am so so grateful too.

I'm so happy! There's these Ethiopian Coptic crosses that I've been really liking on a jewelry website but they were hella expensive, today on a whim I decided to look on ebay and there were tons. I got 2 for $62, a fraction of what the jewelry site was charging.

So happy my application for a credit card limit increase has been approved! I had the same limit since I got my first credit card at 18 years old lol, it was really annoying. Finally decided to apply two days ago, took 2 mins to file out the form and already approved.

I'm grateful I'm able to have friendship with my ex (to be honest, he got laid off & got some bad medical results since I left him, so the fire under his butt to be nice to me is partially about him being in a vunerable spot.) He worked on my car & I paid him for it (his labor is worth it, he's an excellent mechanic & never tells anyone so people won't hit him up for free mechanic services.)

Why am I just seeing this thread I am one of those people who wake with a huge smile every day because I am breathing and have another day to live.
I am thankful for so many things but today my focus is being thankful for the many supporters family, friends, customers etc who no matter what I am doing shows their support. I am thankful my Nanna is doing good ( she has been having these dizzy/faint spells as of late).
Another thing I am so so sooooo thankful for is the creation of the internet. Seriously, I would not be able to do what I love and get paid for it without (other then adult work, I write have an e-retail store, do social media management etc etc) I make more online doing what I love in a month then I did some years working for someone else so even though technology sometimes seems like it is doing to much and being invasive. I am oh so thankful for the internet!

For the last 6 Years I've made ALL of my money from it. Without ever leaving my bed on most days.:chat:

Glad I've made some money from one of my work from home income streams.
Managed to spend roughly $60 for the week and cook all home cooked meals.
As far as I know I'm in good health.

I am so grateful for my position in life right now...if I look back at where I was a year ago, the change is just unfathomable. I cannot even. I have truly become so blessed and lucky. I am also grateful for the fact that I had the gumption, and a little help, to kick a very toxic energy out of my life. Had I not done that, I doubt things would be as good as they are today.

Hearing the crazy thunder and heavy rain outside makes me grateful for my warm cozy apartment! My dog is freaking out and hiding in the bathtub but I keep telling her to be grateful she isn't homeless right now. Crazy weather always makes me think of homeless people and animals. :(

That there's three days left in the week to make money. It's tax season PLUS some basketball thing, so, before you ask, yes, everything is slow and no, it has nothing to do with you. There's been times I've seriously thought a sex worker snapped and started killing off every customer cuz it was so slow. From what I could find, that hypothesis was false.

Super grateful that I've made the bulk of what I need this month. Holy shit its been rough and I think if I wasn't feeling as good as I am now or if I didn't have my bill money in the bank I might be a total wreck of a person.
