I had a minor car accident yesterday. It was a rear-end situation. There was a 6-12 months old babe in the other car. Thank God nobody got hurt.
Only very minor damage on my rear bumper but the front of their car was all messed up. Am I glad I have an suv now?! Reported the accident to my insurance company yesterday and received the call back from the adjuster to setup repairing and rental car this morning. Not a cent out of my pocket. :) happy customer.

I guess enough people complained or the owners decided to stop being the cheapest and most dickish people on the planet because the heat is back on.
My career night thing ended up going pretty well. I talked to a staffer and basically got guaranteed entry to the program since I've done well enough in my three classes to totally override my shitty undergrad gpa. Also I got some good swag.
And it's been ages and ages since I've exercised vigorously but I've been back on an elliptical only two or three times now and I already can feel some muscle coming back.

Today I'm grateful for....
finding a place to call "home" for at least the next year. That was cutting it way to close.

Baristas who know what they are doing make the world a better place.
There is so much much sheer perfection in a well made latte to stay ( the ones with the leaf pattern on top are my faves ). Grateful for fellow coffee nerds.

I'm dying of my period again and my boyfriend left work and came over to bring me ginger lemonade, chips, and chocolate, and to make sure I was okay. I feel so grateful because I've had so many other partners who if I asked them for any help during my period they'd get all resentful and refuse to do anything, but he did this without me even asking. I'm grateful to him for his kindness and also to myself for prioritizing having kind people in my life.

I'm grateful that I am finally going to get my 2 wisdom teeth out of my head. One of them has been bothering me, giving me pain the last few days. But in a week, they are going to be out! Thank goodness!

I'm grateful for my amazing children, my dogs, my bf, my ex husband who is taking the kids and I to lunch for mother's day tomorrow, the health of all of us, that my acne seems to be on its way out, and that I got hired back to my first club! Life is beautiful.
I'm also thankful I found this thread. Lol

I'm grateful that my club is a good fit for me. My club is like Thunderdome and it's not for everyone, but I do really well in an unstructured, unsupervised environment. I'm always worried about breaking rules so when there are no rules, it's a relief.

I'm grateful for my loving, caring husband who provides me with health insurance, drove me to urgent care , then to the pharmacy, hung out and got tea and keeps asking if there is anything he can do to make me more comfortable while I'm going through this weird cold/virus/flu thing.

The single call sale I closed yesterday (it took one 15 minute call and then 15 minutes to write the contract and it's a +$500 commission). Sometimes I hate my business and I'm down on it. I often want it to " fade away " but then I'll get a break like that . It wasn't a huge sale, but the speed was extremely refreshing and much appreciated.
I got lucky last week and had another person close pretty quickly too ( about 3 days from the first call to the purchase ) .
I'll definitely TAKE the lucky break because I sure have had my fair share of frustration and bogging in the last few months. Grateful.

So grateful for my camming and pso jobs.
Went to the dentist, and noticed how bad everyone's attitude was...From the 8 receptionists,/secretaries, to the x-ray techs, even to the Dentist's themselves.
The open waiting area was filled with toddlers running around, screaming, yelling, or crying. My wait time, even though I had an appt.was 2 hours, so I had lots of time to observe .
If I were sitting in front of that all day long, I'd be manic, and suicidal.

I have one really great escort client - he is a damn unicorn lol A rich, low-key widower who I would actually keep in touch with and consider a friend even if I were to retire. He's always respectful, tips generously for my time, and is actually nice to talk to. He has some ED issues as well, so it's not even like our 3-hour sessions are exhaustive sex. His montly multi-hour appointments are the main reason I've been able to set aside so much money into savings. I'm really lucky and grateful to have found a legitimately, consistently great client.

I picked up my diploma from my university yesterday. I received dean's honors for several quarters, but thought that since my GPA dropped for my last quarter that I was ineligible to have any honors notation on my diploma. Well, I was wrong! I may be a college graduate now, but math still isn't my strong point! My diploma is with honors!! Yesss!!!
I'm very grateful to myself for persevering through the tough parts of school and to all the people who supported me through it -- including y'all on SW. :heartbeat

Grateful that I found a great vet for my kitties. She gives definitive, opinionated advice and usually comes in under her cost estimates.
Also very thankful that I don't ever have to wonder if I can cover the cost of such things.

I'm grateful for the fact that with winter around the corner my cupboards are stocked, I have warm clothes and plenty of access to heating solutions. My heart breaks for people who don't have these things, it makes me so happy to have them.

Grateful that we decided to stay in this apartment for another year. It isn't the greatest, but it's fine for the price. And moving is so stressful! (When you have a lot of stuff, plus five cats)

Our new place. SOOO glad to be living on our own again. The place we were at was such a HELL HOLE!! And THAT is an understatement.
With that, I'm grateful for this awesome working A/C and being able to walk around naked anytime I fucking want! LMFAO

Today I'm grateful for my new comfy ergonomic chair, that replaces the fold-up metal chair I was using. I can already tell that it's going to make a huge difference in my pain level, which means no more grouchy pain face when I'm trying to lure in subs! And it was less than $60 with free shipping. So much win :)

Thanks in advance.

I highly recommend checking craigslist for this sort of thing. People get rid of desk chairs fairly often, and you can find some seriously awesome ones (think, leather, exec-level) for low prices. Just my experience!

Agreed. I bought the one I have now (but is far away in storage) for $20. It was like new.
I'm probably going to look locally on CL,s since where I'm living is temporary. I've been using a camping fold up chair. So uncomfortable, even though I padded it with blankets.
