I'm grateful for the weather, for online streaming TV, my home and other avenues of sex work that do not require me to be on cam.

I am grateful to know that I have a wonderful friend who used to be a stripper but quit and moved to another city, always be there for me when I need her. I just call or text her and she's always there and talks me through things. Glad I made one good friend from the SC.

Grateful that even though I got locked out of my house I managed to get back in. I had to climb up a ladder for the first time and got in through my bathroom window. Had to break in but luckily I did, was so relieved. First time I ever got locked out of my house will def be more careful next time

I'm grateful for the staff at my club who have known me for years and greet me by my dancer name when I walk in. I'm usually anxious when it's time to go to work, but they make me feel at home. <3

It's a quiet day at the spa and I'm happy to have the quiet to get a lot done on the computer for my day job but also be able to be here for walk in's. The "instant" spa money off sets my impatience with closing day jobs sales ( much slower moving ).

Today I'm grateful for the food in my fridge. I have been extremely broke this past week (couldn't dance due to injuring my leg), and yet THANK GOD there has been food to eat.
Also, grateful for the fig bar I found in my purse tonight. Yay!

Today I am grateful for making 2 awesome sales from my vanilla business.
And even though I didn't get the job I interviewed for on Monday, I'm grateful that I at least got to the interview part.

It's funny how life works sometimes. There's an old friend of mine who I haven't seen in a few years and really missed her a lot. Pretty much stopped talking to her cuz I had too many things going on, bf problems etc.. anyways I didn't have her # and had no way of getting in contact with her. So today I had to go to another part of town and I ran into her! We talked like no time had passed, she's the same person that I loved and we are gonna hang out this weekend. I'm so happy to have run into her, especially now that my controlling ex is out of the picture.

I'm grateful for an easily closed sale at the day job from a few weeks ago. I go complete the job today and it's a beautiful small town I'm traveling over to . I'm bringing my pup along for the ride and probably going full fall mode with a cider or something on the way.

I found the most awesome, best-fitting 2-piece interview suit at Goodwill for only $9! I'm so short, it's usually a pain in the ass just to find pants that fit properly. I was on my way to Goodwill for other reasons, and on the way, got a phone call for an interview next week so decided I'd look while I was there. Score!

I'm grateful for the ebay sales I just made. Yay!!! Also, I love that it now only takes a few days for paypal transactions to get transferred to your bank account. So much better than waiting for the next pay period.

A celebrity that I'm real into is doing a local book signing/appearance. It's really rare for me to actually really, really want to go DO something, especially lately, and I'm actually off work for the event, which is also rare when I actually want to go do something (I've been working a lot). So I might actually be able to go. My only concern is that tickets are only available the day of, and they start selling them at 10am and I don't get out of work until 2. So I'm really paranoid that they might sell out and I might have to hide in the parking lot with a shiv and steal a ticket from someone.

Feeling extremely grateful today. Bought my ticket to Europe at half-price, realized I have enough money saved up right now that I could take a couple weeks off if I wanted to, and I could even replace dancing with camming entirely. Also, I'm grateful for the support of my friends and family in moving abroad... sometimes I forget how awesome they are. :)

Today I am grateful for the weather, my car and the fact that I made it home safe last night despite driving in some precarious conditions. That and the fact that I have the power to create my circumstance.

I meant to update on this but a million other things happened... but the person I got to meet was Alton Brown!! Not everyone's dream celebrity but I am a massive foodie and I love to cook and that's all because I started watching Good Eats several years ago. He made it look fun and easy and is just so entertaining. So he's responsible for me getting into something that has really changed my life for the better in so many ways. He was incredibly nice and it was just a great experience.
And I just found out that my club wasn't severely damaged in the hurricane and will reopen as soon as they get power back on. I'm so relieved. I was really freaking out about losing all the customers I've spent the last eight years cultivating and having to start over from scratch in a city where money is notoriously hard and where everything about me as a stripper (my hustle, my stage style, my dances, my outfits) wouldn't be right. Between that and not even losing power at home during the storm I am feeling very, very grateful because it could have been so bad.
And I'm getting a raise at my day job. :) I needed a good day.

^^I knowwwwww. I want a full set from her, like a matching belt, bra and choker but that would easily cost $600+ and I don't think I would end up wearing it often enough to make it worth it. I honestly don't even like spending more than $30 on something unless I'm sure I'll wear it a lot.
I'm so grateful for the internet. I'm SO glad I live in the internet age

Glad to find out my old car that broke down won't be too expensive to fix. It will be under $300 vs $500+ which is what I thought it wld cost for sure.

Lmao I'm going to hell for this one, but:
I'm thankful for the bob trend because now everyone is cutting their hair when I've been growing mine forever and it's finally pretty long. I mean I wear extensions anyway so it doesn't matter, but I want my real hair down to my ass.

4 easy massage customers in a row this week.
( knocks on wood so I don't jinx the roll )
I only see one a day to keep my energy up for other projects and it sure makes a difference if they are respectful and pleasant.

Grateful i found my boxing gloves. I had to bring my car to the mechanic and remembered later that I left my boxing gloves in the trunk, when I went to get my car I opened the trunk and boxing gloves weren't there. I thought they must have taken them, I was so pissed. I immediately went to my boxing class and asked if I'd left them there, and of course I did. Felt bad cuz I pretty much accused my mechanic of taking girls boxing gloves. He's very honest so going to go by there tomorrow with a little gift card for him. I should have made sure I didn't leave them somewhere first.

I'm grateful that I have found a way to dance without injuring my knees. Yay!! Not quite sure what I was doing wrong before, but my DIY knee pads made of cut-up tube socks + using more upper body strength while dancing seems to have helped. Before, I was going home with red bruises on my knees and having issues bending them properly... now it seems to be back to normal.

Guys, my friend is so fucking amazing. He's letting me and my cats stay with him as long as I want while the stalker thing is happening. And has spent literally the last 3 hours searching for more information on her.
I could totally fall in love.

Remote Work ! I have been fully remote for about 10 months now ( running my main vanilla business mostly with just a laptop ). Sometimes it drives me crazy ( as I've detailed in other threads ) but I feel a boost this week from it . I remember a lot of quick closing last year around this time ( Dec. is a very busy month for us and people book about now ) .
I'm glad a didn't completely kill the business like I was talking about a few months ago. Reducing to part time has been vital but I can still have this income stream anywhere I am ( where my wi-fi and phone works ). I feel grateful.

I'm happy to be doing art tonight in my room with the art supplies + the HBO subscription I bought this year, all with my own moneys. It's been months since I've done art due to depression, and it feels good to pick up the pencils again. :)

Oh, and I realized today that I no longer have irresistible urges to shop for crap I don't need... I used to spend tons of money on makeup and clothes, but after how financially difficult this year has been, I'm starting to really appreciate every dollar I earn. Grateful to have broken the shopping addiction!
