Grateful I'm having a lazy, rainy Saturday of lying on the couch with my kitty on top of me and watching an old movie. Sooo cozy

I'm just grateful that I didn't get sucked into a "dependent" miserable relationship. I almost went that route, years ago. I'm glad I fixed my emotionally needy self. And fuck yes, stripping helped me with that. I'm glad to be that woman that doesn't need shitty ass men.
I'm a super sensitive emotional person. Handle with care. ;)

I'm just grateful that I have been making the bulk of my money as pso. Camming is fun but that is low on my adult income tier :)

Made great money this week and didn't have to work too hard for it.
Now I'm going to enjoy my Sunday. Catch up on homework and make dinner for my boyfriend.

Today I'm grateful that I have everything ready to go for my move next week. I've got my plane tickets, insurance, wifi hotspot, housing, warm clothing, and money in the bank. And no one else to worry about but myself. Yay!

Grateful that I don't have to work at the strip club EVER again. :D I have enough money saved up to move, and job prospects on the horizon. I just have to stop by one last time to empty out my locker.

I'm grateful to be an American! Probably obnoxious since so many people are upset about the election and wanting to move to Canada, but I think it's still helpful to remember that people risk everything and even die trying to get into this country. Many people would much rather be in America under Trump than wherever they are currently. I'm grateful for being born here, I love living here and I wouldn't want to live in any other country(Well I mean if I was a millionaire I'd have a second house in Austria or something but that's another story.....).

Grateful to be going on an overnight hiking trip tomorrow with my friend with benefits. Spontaneous decision... just planned it yesterday. I'm going to miss him when I leave. The friendship is great. The sex is great. I'm honestly glad I'm leaving now, though, because any longer and I would've been seriously attached.

I'm loving my new job! And all my preceptors so far have written in my notes that I'm a delight to work with and they can tell I really care. The one yesterday even pulled me aside before I left and said it was a pleasure to work with me because I'm the kind of person who is the reason he continues to be in EMS. Awww

I'm grateful I live by the beach. I'm not a sun worshipper, but I love going on a long run by the ocean. It helps me clear my head and makes me feel better.

Grateful that all of my weird must-haves fit inside my suitcase... the large carry-on now contains a desktop computer (iMac), ukulele, and a wide variety of art supplies/paper.
I kinda half-assed packing the iMac... I had bubble wrap, but not quiiite as much as I would have liked, so it's surrounded by lots of fluffy sweaters. It is now in the hands of the airplane baggage gods.

I'm happy because my Starbucks stocks vested and are worth close to a grand. Also I'm taking a week off from both jobs in less than two weeks. I fucking need it, too.

I'm grateful that the future looks good, grateful for the vacation I just took and above all grateful for my access to clean water whenever I need it. I cannot imagine life without it and my heart bleeds for those who have to endure that.

I'm grateful for science/healthcare coursework because it leaves no room to think. You never write your opinions and your own job is to memorize. I'm done giving my opinions on things, it's too exhausting. So it's perfect.

Grateful for my best friend who helped me get through my breakup these past few months and then helped me again today when my ex called by singing mariah carey Christmas music with me in the car.
It felt so good to ignore his call. Two months ago I didn't think I'd be able to ignore him if he contacted me, and look at me now :) couldn't have done it without her

Today I'm grateful for the cute guy in my class. Just found out that we're both from the same state, both have degrees in psychology, and we're both INFJ's. I was a total doofus in front of him today... wound up in the wrong classroom and then spilled hot chocolate all over myself... but he didn't seem to notice and kept flirting with me, haha. :D
Hoping I can track him down at lunch, sometime, and talk a bit more.

When I express my thoughts online and in real life I feel like they never come out the way I want them to and I end up unintentionally sounding like an asshole. I'm grateful for the edit button on social media and forums so I can edit to word my thoughts better and the way that I mean to, in real life I just end up putting my foot in my mouth and accidentally piss people off lol. I wish there was an edit button for real life so I can be grateful for that too.

Today, I am grateful for getting a large number of naziplay/raceplay calls after this election. Seriously, all of these guys have been calling once a day to do some sort of raceplay and naziplay fantasy with my characters. Also, these calls are usually long and easy money. However, I do not like doing these fantasies on webcam....but they are pretty cool over the phone.

I consider it our reward for living here the rest of the year when it's so hot that my cd cases that I had in my car melted and warped. Because I totally noticed those in my backseat earlier today.

I'm grateful for my own nonmaterialistic ass because everyone out there shopping for the holidays seems miserable and crazy. Aside from eating out (which I'm also trying to cut down on), I've purchased almost nothing this year and I'm really happy about that.

I'd take that over the current state of freezing my ass off.

Don't y'all use those shade things for the windshield? They do help..one hot summer my rearview mirror actually fell off before I got it.
&, @ least I do have a sauna to go to, that helps. I honestly don't mind regular cold temps, it's the below zero/wind chill shit I don't like

I do have the shade thingy and it does help for when it's not too bad but there's usually about a month or two where it's still pretty brutal... but the shade thingy does make it less brutal and helps to keep my interior from fading. My partner is from Illinois and he just loves cold and the snow. I've only seen snow twice in my adult life and when I went up north one march my family was looking at me like I was crazy because I was bundled up like Ralphie in a Christmas Story, LMAO.

Ha ha! You're adorable Whirl.
I have the shade thingy, but when its 110 degrees outside, the inside of the car can reach 120 plus degrees. or more.:hot:
Nothing is sustainable in those temps.

Well, ok..ever think of tinting your windows then?
I also use the side window things, they stick on by suction cup. They're dark but you can see thru.

I'm grateful that I have a patient, loving, stable, sweet partner who keeps me sane and safe and keeps my home when I'm away.
That I'm reconnecting with my Dad and feel like I have a real family for one of the first times in my life.
For Healthcare (thanks Obama!) and that I'm going to be seen by someone Wednesday.
For my bff. I'm so happy to have a friendship this close.
For my day job- where my boss and co-workers have my back no matter what.
For the space heater in my bedroom while the main heater is down.

Yeah, this is going to be a 'long walk on a short pier' as the saying goes.
I'm NEVER going to complain about hot weather again.
*As I type this, I'm sitting in the waiting room of a doctor's office, where I drove my friend for her appt.
I have on a sweater, scarf, hat, fuzzy socks, ugg boots, down jacket, fur vest, thermal leggings .....and I'm still FREEZING! :snow:
They have the AC on. Omg!
I was in a McDonald's yesterday and they had the A.C. on too! When I mentioned it to the cashier, she told me that everybody complains about it.. uh, well DO something!
Last time I go there.

Grateful to know that I'm actually pretty good at my vanilla job. It took dumping my alcoholic ex-boyfriend to realize I'm not incompetent... I've just been really stressed out at work all this time.
Also... grateful that I'm getting used to the cold weather. My face/lungs no longer feel "on fire" outside.
